Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse Broadway Reviews
I dont come here as often as I'd like but went tonight with my daughter to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday. Menu had new items such as sushi and octopus. Both were delicious. The dry aged steak I had was to die for. So much flavor and so tender. Our waiter, Gerard (G) was fantastic. He was so attentive without being pushy and his recommendations were on point. I will ask for him whenever I visit. That's how much I loved his service. Took food home and had the new hibiscus cheesecake to share. Last but not least was a take home order of their lemon cake because its always been one of my favs. Yes, it's pricey but worth it. Treat yourself, you wont be disappointed.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Del Frisco’s thanks to our amazing bartender, Henry! He crafted a rosemary sparkling gin sangria that was absolutely outstanding and refreshing! Henry’s passion for his craft was noticeable. Food recommendations were great as well, especially the egg rolls!! We’ll definitely be back!
It was everything my family promised and more...incredibly friendly staff, massive selection of wine, cocktails and other libations, spacious, modern aesthetic meets turn of the century Mid-Atlantic sensibilities, warm, cosmopolitan steak-house atmosphere and delicious meat. What else could you ask for? For a Christmas Eve rush, we felt neither harried nor shoved into the periphery of those who served us...they were attentive, kind, knowledgeable and gracious, especially with some of the other, more belligerent customers. And, of course, the food was wonderful...a prime rib the size of Long Island but tender and juicy, perfect medium rare. Crab cakes with barely any filler and a warm, creamy bisque to chase away the cold. Surprisingly, it was the butter cake that really shook us...was not expecting to enjoy it more than the lemon cream, but I did. You feel like a king after a night like that, especially in the heart of the city. Certainly a memorable Christmas Eve. Pity I needed to travel so far to have so much fun...but it was more than worth it. 👍
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Del Frisco’s, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out—everyone was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel special without being overbearing. We started with the calamari and crab cakes, which were hands down the best we’ve ever had. For our main course, we enjoyed the surf and turf. The presentation alone was stunning—so well put together that we were impressed before even taking a bite. Once we did, it was divine. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, a true testament to the chef and their team. To finish, we had a dessert topped with ice cream (the name escapes me!), but it was the perfect sweet ending to the evening. The atmosphere was elegant yet inviting, and being right in the heart of Manhattan made it even more special. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate. I highly recommend Del Frisco’s to anyone looking to mark a special occasion or simply enjoy a great night out in New York City.
I have been there twice in the past 6 months. The first time was in March. That experience led me come back again in September 2024. When I visited the first time, I wanted to have a nice meal and a wine just before I left NY. Bartender Dan was kindly advising me a meal that is not in the menu but was fitting perfect for what I was looking for. He then paired it with one of the best red wines I tasted. This welcoming, attentive and friendly experience led me to visit again in September. Unfortunately I learned that Dan passed away since the last time I saw him. I am very sorry for his absence and I wish his soul peace. His skilled colleagues keep the place in check. I will always visit this place to honour his memory. R. I. P. beautiful soul.
We just loved the place !! The food, ambience, interior, staffs, hospitality -- everything was perfect. We were looking for a nice place to have steak for weekend dinner and Del Frisco's reviews were found to be great to reserve a table. We were happy about the decision to stop by this beautiful place. The moment you enter, you will be made feel special. Foods were amazing! The entrée bread was freshly baked, the crabmeat was delicious, the prime ribeye was perfect done and so was the broccolini; lastly the tiramisu just melted in our mouth. Drinks were served wonderfully. Our server was extremely cordial and suggested good items. The staff in the toilet was ready to hand you towel as soon as you were done. Above everything the GM stopped by our table to know about experience, food quality, serving time etc which made us understood that they take care of customers well and opinions matter to them. Overall excellent dine-in experience. The place is very popular and almost full over the weekend so better to reserve a table beforehand.
I was craving for a real steak. This place will satisfy you. Great food, spacious area and friendly waitress But, I didn’t like the attitude of the hostess, I stepped in, and she was ignoring me and didn’t say any of those welcoming phrases. I thought she could’ve been busy arranging something online, as she was taping on a keyboard
I truly had a magical experience at Del Friscos. My boyfriend, bestfriend and I decided to have dinner here to celebrate two special occasions. We arrived 10 minutes earlier than opening time and when it began raining, they kindly let everyone inside. The bartender made the best margarita I've ever had! The steak was succulent and well-seasoned. The sides and desserts were simply delicious. My favorite aspect of the experience was our kind waitress Ashley and the amazing manager Jesse. I will definitely be coming back soon and I highly recommend the 45-day dry aged ribeye.
5 star dining experience here, a solid steakhouse nationally and the NYC location meets expectations. Love eating lunch here especially with high ceilings with windows on a sunny day, it negates the typical dark room steakhouse vibe. Service excellent along with the food. Love the bread rolls to start, they are dangerous. Restaurant week menu is great with plenty of options, we enjoyed the meatballs, filet and got the (recommended) chocolate mousse and butter cake to go. YUM. There is also a lunch menu option, which I appreciate. The house Cabernet is superb. A special treat, enjoy!
My family hosted a surprise birthday dinner for me at Del Frisco’s in New York, and I must say—everything was flawless from start to finish. Despite arriving late due to traffic, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. It was, without question, the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Our server, Artis, was outstanding—one of the most professional and attentive individuals who has ever waited on me. The chef, J, even visited our table personally to wish me a happy birthday. When I asked how he knew, he mentioned he had read our dining notes—something I wasn’t even aware of. That personal touch made a lasting impression, and he even treated me to a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend this location. The service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail were all impeccable—and yes, I’m telling all my friends how handsome the gentlemen here are.
Had dinner here before theatre. My wife and son said it was the best steaks they’d ever had. I got the prime strip steak and to be honest I didn’t love it. With the crab truffle butter topper it was way over on richness. But I did feel like I ended up ordering more than I could eat I could eat that day so this could have been more on me than the steak. Service was excellent as was the atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
We went with my husband for dinner on Christmas Eve. Even though it was full, it had a very beautiful and festive atmosphere. The food was classic American (I’m from Europe, which is why I mention it) but very tasty. Overall, it was a very good experience, although I would describe it as somewhat “touristy,” perhaps because of its location.
If you’re looking for an impeccable meal with amazing plating look no further. Our experience here was beyond phenomenal! From the moment you’re greeted you will feel special. Erik was our server and he was not only knowledgeable about parings and selections, but personable as well. Travis, the GM checked on us middle meal and made us feel special (and we watched him do this to many customers). The atmosphere and the creations of the Chef rank this as a 5 star! Make sure to come here and create memories! Del Frisco has it right all the way around! Be sure to notice, as well, everyone who compliments the wait staff. They have multiple people servicing your table. Simply a must go to place! So blessed! Travis, Erik and crew thank you for being so amazing! Best wishes for continued success
Brought my fiancé here for her birthday before a show and was impressed. Food was amazing, but the customer service was even better. Amanda was a great waitress and made the experience worth it! Hope to be back in the near future
My husband and I ate there Christmas Eve last Wednesday and it was fabulous. Our reservation was for 7:00 and they gave us a great table at 7:03 It was quite busy but we loved it. Looking out the windows and the food was outstanding . Bartender made excellent drinks. I had a whiskey sour.
Phenomenal steakhouse! We ordered the shrimp cocktail and wedge salad to start. Both were delicious! We both decided on the small 8 ounce filet to save room for dessert. They were cooked to order perfectly and the creamy horseradish sauce paired wonderfully. For sides we did the au gratin potatoes and the creamed corn. Best creamed corn we've ever tasted. So balanced with jalapeño without being spicy. The rolls were also light, fluffy and warm! For dessert we had the orange creamsicle creme brulee and the chocolate layered cake. Both were delicious! The service was attentive and friendly. Just loved the atmosphere and overall dining experience! Would return!!!
Had a great time! Celebrated 2 birthdays. Food was delicious and the desserts were even better! Especially the tan colored one. I forgot the name. I had a mojito and it was also well made. Do not be confused with other Del Frisco Grilles...this is only Del Frisco Steakhouse in this area!!!
First time coming here for their restaurant week experience. The price of their price fixe menu was much higher than other restaurants, but you received generous portion sizes on your order. We sat in the mezzanine level which had the best views of Avenue of the America's. The filet mignon was tender and delicious. We ordered an extra side of Truffle Twice Baked Potatoes which were exceptionally creamy and delicious. The best part of the meal were the full sized desserts to finish our satisfying meals.
From start to finish, our evening at this steakhouse was truly a five-star experience. The food was absolutely delectable, and the service went above and beyond. We were fortunate to have Gerard as our server he was warm, friendly, and impressively attentive, striking the perfect balance between professional and personable. A special shoutout to Alejandro, who shared some fascinating insight and conversation about one of the standout dishes of the night: the half roasted chicken with au jus sauce. It was immaculate! juicy, packed with flavor, and finished with the perfect crisp on the skin. The crab cakes are a must-order bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The oysters were next-level fresh and simply out of this world. We also indulged in the lobster mac & cheese, creamed spinach, and a rich + creamy lobster bisque generously loaded with crab meat, each dish more satisfying than the last. For drinks, we tried the VIP and the Paloma, and both were well-balanced, refreshing, and absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a place that nails both flavor and hospitality, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!
This steakhouse offers stunning aesthetics and a beautiful ambiance. The service was outstanding. Great wine selection. The crab cake was fresh and delectable. The shrimp was crispy, flavorful, spicy, perfectly balanced. The steak is flawlessly cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. The crème brûlée is rich and creamy. Great experience.
This place owes me nothing! Wow! A perfect 10. A wonderful restaurant with absolutely perfect service and the food is beyond. Worth every penny and we cannot wait to get back and enjoy again. Went to dinner with friends to celebrate and we ordered it all, starting with the special cocktail- The VIP. Yummy. Tuna tartar was my hubs favorite. Wedge salad with excellent blue cheese is always my favorite. Filet mignon was superb, but the surprise standout was the château mashed potatoes- unbelievable. The warm butter cake is not to be missed. And The lemon cake is also a nice surprise and is large enough to feed 4!
Great place to meet your friends, have a drink, and a great meal. This spot is lively. Our meal was incredible. Every appetizer was delicious, likewise our meat entres. Maybe one exception ... one of our party tried the Cauliflower Steak (I know) and it was a bust. Desserts were wonderful. To top it off the service provided by Sun was excellent. We had a great evening here. TY!
What a wonderful evening! It’s all about the experiences…and OF COURSE the food, but that’s only truly enjoyable if you have great service! MD was awesome. He was so kind and upbeat…quick to kindly answer our questions and excited for us to have the best time while we were there. We will absolutely return! Be sure to order the warm butter cake for dessert! Thanks MD…keep up the great service! It truly makes a world of difference!
Dinner at Del Frisco's was a blend of highs and a few misses, but an undeniably memorable experience. Here's my breakdown: Thick-Cut Bacon: Juicy with a sweet caramelized flavour and a strong black pepper note. However, the texture fell short compared to rivals like Peter Luger-less crispy and a bit too fatty for my liking. Bread Service: A highlight! Served piping hot, with a soft, buttery texture and generous portions-comforting and satisfying. Crab Cake: A standout dish and among the best l've ever had. Chunky and flaky crab meat, paired with a savoury, rich crab roe sauce, and an extra kick of complexity from red chili—a dish I'd return for. Prime Rib Eye: Excellently prepared and truly unforgettable. The thick cut, juicy tenderness, perfect marbling, and bold, meaty flavour made it one of the finest steaks I've had in NYC. Medium rare was spot on! ^ Ambience: The interior was undoubtedly classy and inviting, but the high noise level detracted from the experience, making it challenging to hold a decent conversation. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this might not be the spot. Overall, Del Frisco's delivered solid culinary hits with a couple of minor stumbles. If you're after impeccable steak or a stellar crab cake, this spot won't disappoint. Just be prepared for a lively crowd!
Came roughly a week ago as a walkin. The Place was amazingg. The view was great, the hostess Mia was so respectful and very attentive and helped when my lady and I wanted to change tables for a better view. Lanisha was a sweetheart herself, consistently but not constantly made sure my table was good. Food was delicious as well. I’d come back every time I’m in New York City. Thank you !
I recently came here to celebrate my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend (4/20) The restaurant is really beautiful with a touch of old school elegance. There’s a well decorated staircase that leads to the second floor and an unparalleled view of the Raido City Hall. Our waitress sat us in the booth which was a nice touch. To start off, we had their complementary bread and my God. This is easily one of the best bread I have ever had. The flavor is addictive with a savory end and the softness of the bread akin to brioche. Melts like butter in your mouth. We ordered the prime tomahawk medium along with the mashed potatoes as recommended from our waitress. Words cannot describe the taste of this steak. It was a rollercoaster of flavor with its juices as the base. The tenderness of the steak was out of this world. Each bite was inviting us for more. While we did enjoy some of the mashed potatoes, we ignored it like the first piece of bread. We both had the VIP and it was great and tropical tasting. Strong but not overwhelming. Overall, amazing dinner and great service to our waitress who I forgot her name 😕. She brought an anniversary dessert which was really sweet of her. Thank you for a great night of celebrating!
We visited Del Frisco’s for lunch to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our server, Lanisha, provided exceptional service—she went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. The food was outstanding; the crab cakes, complimentary bread, and lobster mac & cheese were definite favorites. We’ll definitely be back!
The best steak restaurant we’ve ever been to in New York! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel special. Our waiter AJ, was absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. As an anniversary treat, they even surprised us with a cute cheesecake topped with a candle, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was incredible, the service flawless, and the atmosphere was just right. We had the best evening and it truly made our visit to New York unforgettable. Highly recommended!
Came in for a friend’s birthday and had an amazing experience. Our steak was cooked to our requested temperature of medium and medium rare. We brought a cake with us for the birthday girl.We were informed they would not be able to serve but the reception staff was amazing stored the cake for us at no cost. The staff was also super attentive even the bathroom attendant was so sweet. The star of the show was definitely the lobster Mac and Cheese. Our server Peter was also incredible. He was super funny and so quick. He was able to answer any questions we had and was so great when it came to problem resolution. We had one of our drinks come out sour and he immediately suggested a different drink on the menu which he brought over quickly. Overall a great experience from start to finish. All around great staff working with incredible hospitality.
Everything was amazing, but what stood out for me more than the food was the service. Our server was phenomenal; he did not miss a beat, and he made my husband's birthday extra special. Please give this man his flowers. Don, you were exceptional.
Great service and delicious food. I had a reservation for 2 people and only waited less than 10 min to be seated on a busy night. If you are looking for a private dinner then this might not be a good fit since most tables are out in the open and you’ll have people and wait staff walking by a lot. It wasn’t a bother to us but I know others might want a different dinning experience. We got the Tomahawk Steak for two, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and lobster Mac n cheese & would recommend all of them. Waitress was attentive and overall had a great experience. We can’t wait to go again! ☺️☺️
I recently dined at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in New York, and it was an exceptional experience. The NY Strip steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with a wonderful sear and tender, juicy interior that true steak lovers will appreciate. To make our anniversary even more special, the staff generously offered us a complimentary slice of their rich and creamy cheesecake, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their excellent customer service. While the prices are on the higher side, they are quite reasonable considering the high standards and quality one expects in New York City. Overall, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House delivers a memorable dining experience with superb food and attentive service, making it well worth a visit.
This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the manager, Caesar, who complimented me immediately. He made me feel so beautiful and special as I told him it was my birthday. Then, as I sat down with my boyfriend Will, the waiter was absolutely just so sweet kind and had a great personality. The food was absolutely delectable. The food came out at a really great time nice and hot and everything was so fresh and delicious. The crabcakes were absolutely phenomenal, and the bacon was to die for. We both ordered steak with lobster mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and truffle fries. The serving sizes were perfect as we had enough to take home. Both Will and Cesar really went above and beyond to make my birthday really special with just some amazing treats they sent over. Honestly, celebrating my birthday at Del fresco’s was such a wonderful choice. The food was great. The service was top-notch and I left feeling just so pleased with my experience. Thank you again to Cesar and Will for being so amazing! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as I have already done so!
Well its amazing steak. Pretty much what you would expect from a high end steak house and it doesn't disappoint. Excellent service (including finding a Calvados for post dinner digestif) and down right excellent steaks. Managed to visit 4 times in 2 weeks, which could be classed as a little excessive
I had Christmas dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse by Rockefeller Center, and the experience was absolutely made by our server, Maruf. On one of the busiest days of the year, Maruf was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional from start to finish. He knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything flowed perfectly. The food was outstanding — beautifully cooked steaks, amazing sides, and a truly indulgent Christmas meal — but what really stood out was the service. Maruf went above and beyond to make our Christmas feel special. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, kept everything running smoothly, and brought such a positive energy to the table. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in his work. He’s a brilliant server and a real credit to Del Frisco’s. Because of him, our Christmas dinner wasn’t just great — it was memorable. Highly recommend asking for Maruf. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The staff is incredibly accommodating even though we reserved the afternoon of our visit, and had 4 kids in tow. We were taken care of by the most amazing staff who anticipated what we wanted, and what the kids needed. For a high end steakhouse to accommodate 2 families on a last minute reservation, we were both impressed and were highly appreciative. The steaks are absolutely amazing. If you're splurging on a nice-in-a-lifetime visit, go for the dry aged steaks. The dry aged boneless ribeye is worth the price, and order it rare!
We frequent here for all major celebrations because the steak is unbeatable and the atmosphere is nice. Highly recommend: Porterhouse Ribeye Tuna tartare Mashed potatoes Fried Calamari (off menu app) Shoutout to Sanem the best waitress we have had while at Del Frisco. I’m mainly writing this review to mention her exemplary service.
This is genuinely one of my favorite steakhouses in the world. Its one of those rare place where no matter what you choose on the menu you do so with confidence that it will be delicious. It is pricey of course but the flavor more than delivers, the quality is top notch and the portion sizes are truly *american*. It is also very lively inside (for dinner) but quiet enough to have conversations. The tall ceilings and large windows create a spacious atmosphere.
Stopped by to catch a quick bite & drink before heading over to the Rockettes show, and I’m so glad I did! The service was excellent and the bartenders were fantastic—super friendly and efficient even with the holiday rush. I was especially happy to find that they were open on Christmas Day. There was a nice, lively crowd which gave it a great atmosphere, yet surprisingly, there was no wait time at all. It was the perfect, stress-free start to our holiday plans. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
If you enjoy steak, this is the place for you. It delivers a classic upscale experience right in the heart of Manhattan. The steaks are expertly prepared—rich, tender, and cooked exactly as ordered—while the sides are indulgent and generously portioned. The atmosphere is polished yet comfortable, making it a great choice for celebrations, business dinners, or a fun night out with family and friends. With attentive service and a strong wine and cocktail program, Del Frisco’s lives up to its reputation as a reliable go-to for high-quality steak and elevated dining in NYC
Couldn’t believe how lucky I was to make a reservation for a Saturday night, Dec. 20, very late in the afternoon for that evening. We decided at the last minute to go to midtown and see the Tree, Rock Center, Saks, etc, and Del Friscos was able to take us at 7:45. We had a great dinner. Our server was incredibly attentive, even though the place was quite crowded with holiday diners. The veal meatballs were excellent! (we both shared them as a starter). As for steak, we are both filet mignon eaters, so that’s what we both had, with onion rings and broccolini on the side. The onion rings were out of this world. In fact, the entire meal was fantastic. Expensive, but so worth it as a special occasion!
The atmosphere for this mega restaurant was very exciting for a place this size. The food was good. Not great not bad. A good solid meal. The service was good but a bit on the slower side which is fine if your not in a rush. The portion sizes were perfect. I was not overfull and didn't leave hungry. I would go back again.
Five-Star Review for Del Frisco’s – Manhattan Del Frisco’s in Manhattan delivers an experience that reminds you why New York City is known for world-class dining. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels elevated and full of energy. The staff greets you warmly and treats you like a valued guest throughout the entire meal. The service is smooth, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling rushed. Everyone working there seems to take real pride in what they do, which sets the tone for the rest of the evening. The steaks truly deserve the reputation they have. Each cut is cooked exactly the way you ask, with a perfect sear on the outside and a tender, flavorful center. You can tell the kitchen uses high-quality ingredients and takes care in every step. The sides are just as impressive. The lobster macaroni and cheese, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes are rich and satisfying. They complement the main dishes rather than overpowering them. Even the bread service is memorable, which says a lot about the overall attention to detail. The seafood options are another highlight. The crab cakes are packed with lump crab meat and seasoned well. The shrimp cocktail is fresh and chilled correctly. Everything arrives beautifully presented, and the flavors match the presentation. For drinks, the wine list is extensive and curated with care. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help you pair the right bottle or cocktail with your meal. Dessert is worth saving room for. The butter cake is one of the best ways to end a dinner, warm and soft with a balance of sweetness that makes you want to order another. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just want a great night out, Del Frisco’s knows how to make the evening feel important. Overall, Del Frisco’s in Manhattan stands out because it combines outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Every part of the dining experience feels intentional. It is easy to see why so many people consider it a must-visit steakhouse in the city. If you want a meal that is consistently exceptional from start to finish, this is the place to go. This is a well-deserved five-star experience.
This is my goto place when I have family and friends visiting from overseas. They haven’t disappointed me so far! The steak — cooked perfectly to your liking 😋The lobster Mac and cheese has good chunks of Lobster, creamy sauce and aldente pasta. We also had the octopus appetizer and it’s soooo good. Flavorful, right chewiness and good portion size. The other thing I look forward to is their honey bread and the best part — it’s complementary. 😉
Del Frisco’s offers the kind of classic steakhouse experience that lives up to its reputation. I visited for my birthday at the recommendation of my partner’s brother, and the evening was exceptional from start to finish. The centerpiece of our meal was a 34-ounce porterhouse, perfectly cooked to a medium-rare that balanced a charred exterior with a tender, juicy interior. The steak delivered exactly what one expects from a top-tier steakhouse, both in flavor and execution. Accompanying sides often risk being an afterthought, but here the mashed potatoes were a highlight in their own right, rich, buttery, and layered with garlic that enhanced rather than overwhelmed. For dessert, the kitchen presented a celebratory dish that closed the meal on a high note, a thoughtful and indulgent finish to an already memorable evening. Del Frisco’s succeeds in maintaining an atmosphere that feels both refined and celebratory, making it an excellent choice for special occasions. From the quality of the steak to the details in service and presentation, it is a dining experience that justifies its reputation and one I would readily return to.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle in New York never disappoints. Every visit feels like a masterclass in how a true steakhouse should be run. The steaks are consistently outstanding—perfectly cooked to your preference, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in getting it just right every single time. One standout for me is their crab cakes. They’re unlike any I’ve had elsewhere—perfectly seared, packed with fresh crab, and elevated with a subtle touch of Indian masala that adds just the right amount of warmth and depth without overpowering the delicate seafood. It’s a unique twist that sets them apart from the typical steakhouse appetizer. On top of the excellent food, the service is always impeccable. The staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making you feel genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere is elegant yet lively, which makes it ideal for both business dinners and special occasions.
We had a wonderful experience at Del Frisco’s, located on 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas), one of the most prestigious streets in New York. The steak was absolutely perfect, the presentation was flawless, and the ambiance was outstanding. Special thanks to Ms. Sanem for her exceptional attention and guidance in helping us choose the ideal menu. Truly deserving of 5 stars!
Me & my partner come here for birthdays and we love it every time. We recently came with my whole family and they loved it as much as we did. The food was amazing per usual, the service was excellent also. Our servers name was Danny and he was the best 10/10. Moving forward my family and I will be coming more often because of how amazing everything was. Highly recommend for date night, birthdays, & any celebration.
Let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied. Every side dish complemented the meal perfectly, and the attention to detail in presentation was impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure our experience was nothing short of amazing. Overall, Del Frisco’s exceeded all expectations with their incredible service, delicious food, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend for any steak lover! We’ll definitely be returning.

The food was amazing and ambience is great. We booked a table at the hotel, and the experience was seamless. Love their steak, the bread starter was also good. The area is nice and service is quick
Twenty years later and this is still a great place for any meal. We had the steak salad and shrimp salad plus side of roasted mushrooms. Ofc we saved room for the lemon cake. Omg, still as go…
Very good service as well as the food. Oysters are creamy and fresh shrimp and lobster. Dry-aged ribeye of rich flavor and over all a nice dinner.
Amazing Experience. Our server was fabulous, and the food was incredible. The place is gorgeous at Christmastime. Definitely get a reservation ahead of time!!

I hate to sound like a broken record, but we always have a wonderful experience at here. The food, drinks and or course, the desserts were wonderful. And our server was EXCELLENT!
Staff is excellent and maybe the world’s best French fries. My aged steak was cooked to perfection. My Zinfandel wine was not so great and they insisted on making that right!!

This was a repeat visit to Del Frisco's. The steaks were prepared spot on. Salads were excellent, and our server, Sean, was terrific and very attentive. All entrees were served hot, well prepared,…
We love NY steakhouses and had not tried DelFriscos. Well, so glad we did tonight! What a pleasant and delicious surprise! We didn’t have a reservation and they were able to sit us right away…
If you want an incredible steak in a large, architecturally pleasing space, this is it. Beautiful views of 6th Ave. After a purchase on jewelers row, this is the place to celebrate/kill the pain. …
Steak was perfectly cooked. Medium Rare. The tuna tartare was delicious. The sides were okay. Great wine selection. The Del Frisco’s Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite. Just didn’t like how the waiter poured the wine, I personally do not like when red wine is on a white table cloth. I felt the service at the bar was a lot better while we were waiting for our table to be ready. Waiter seemed overwhelmed. We were in the cellar level, maybe that’s why. I guess try to get a table on the ground level.
Outstanding steak and sides! Apps (Calamari and pork belly) were ok. Service was fine but not great - drinks and food took quite a while. Definitely worth going and be sure to have a reservation
This is my all time favorite steakhouse in NYC. Unfortunately it's been a few years since I've eaten there and feel like things have moved toward mass dining vs a true fine dining experience. Our entire meal was delicious with the exception of undercooked brussel sprouts. You could tell that all the salads, appetizers, and sides had been predished and sitting under a hot lamp due to the crust that had formed on the top of the food. The service was excellent and I guess because everything was already sitting waiting to go... Came out very fast. The staff was great about the brussels and removed them from the bill. I also feel like the cheese cake changed - I recall it being super light and fluffy - maybe I'm wrong but this was heavier and dense. While I did not try it, my friends said the cauliflower steak was excellent and it was great to see they had a perfect vegetarian option.
Went there for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing, stated with the complementary Bread & Butter (came out cold would've loved it if it wasn't for that) had the crab cake and wagyu meatballs for appetizers. Both were very tasty BUT the sauce they had on the meatballs was cold for some reason so I wasn't too fond of that. For entrees we had the dry aged prime strip and dry aged rib eye (both topped with garlic butter) with lobster mac & mashed potatoes as the sides. I never want a regular steak again after trying dry aged OMG it sliced like butter so flavorful. For dessert we had the butter cake with vanilla ice cream and that was soooo good, never had a butter cake before it was crunchy yet soft and gooey with the perfect amount of sweetness from the caramel sauce it paired well with the ice cream. ONLY thing that I did not like during the visit is that they didn't decorate the table with little birthday confetti like many other steakhouses I've been to & the downstairs area is extremely loud filled with businessmen, my waiter had to repeat himself to me multiple times because I couldn't hear him that's how LOUD it was.
First off we didn't get our complimentary bread which I didn't realize came with the meal till we were leaving. We got the menu sampler for 2. The bacon appetizer was good but very spicy on some pieces others were sweet. Cesar salad was fine. Then we had the New York, filet, shrimp and lobster and that was all cooked perfectly and delicious. Mashed potatoes were okay my husband and I thought they tasted similar in flavor to like a clam chowder but not fishy if that makes sense and the creamed corn was okay. The dessert butter cake and strawberry cheesecake were amazing, we took them to go because we were stuffed. I would go back just for those! Take home butter cake didn't come with the ice cream. They were packed and super busy, so I am guessing that's why we didn't get bread. I also put on our reservation it was my birthday but doesn't seem like they do anything special for that which is fine! You definitely need a reservation!
We were extremely disappointed when we arrived about 5 minutes prior to our reservation only to stand for close to 25 minutes (meaning 20 minutes after our reservation began) to wait to be seated. This felt inappropriate for such an upscale establishment. We were seeing a show afterwards and due to the delay we felt rushed with our ordering and dining. We would have enjoyed the extra time to dine and chat. We LOVED our server though, and the food was delicious. 5/5 for those things, but overall wish we would have experienced better service on the earlier end of our visit.
Remember to dress up for this restaurant. Great food and drinks, and the table service was warm and attentive. The restaurant is spacious and offers a wide variety of wines. The only downside during our visit was that the doorman seemed somewhat rude and not very welcoming.
Deliciously juicy Prime Ribeye, tasty Thick Bacon, best crab cake! Vibrant ambience, good list of food choices, well prepared delicious food, great courteous service, a place not to miss. Caution: food service plates are HOT HOT HOT!!! Don’t touch the plates when it is just being delivered to table. May get burnt.
I don't know why anyone who is not on an expense account would dine here. The prices are sky high and all sides are extra. The food is decent, but the value not so much. Del Frisco is likely a barometer of the bull market: when the crowds subside (now legion) it will be curtains for this all-in mania.
This is a stellar food destination, with a few rough edges. I love the location, across from Radio City Music Hall, near Times Square, and I love the decor, which is lots of wood and leather without being too retro. Our tuna tartare appetizer was fabulous, and surprised my wife with Indonesian prawn crackers, just like her home! The cocktails were “stiff!” No skimping on booze there! My dry Manhattan was killer! The bread basket was a delight! Had to stop myself at 2 of the buttery soft buns! Gerard our waiter was attentive but not excessively so, and Caesar the manager couldn’t have been nicer. Sweet guy! Gerard doubled as a sommelier as well, and steered us truly into some great California Zin. The sides were well executed!! So what are the rough edges? Unfortunately it was the very reason we went to a steakhouse! It was the steak! Granted, it was cooked to spec, but the ribeye was so salty that it numbed the tongue, and lacked any semblance of nuance. We politely made it known and they politely took note, all the while saying that it’s been an issue for years. I hope this reaches the right ears and eyes because we love the place in spite of that. As for the other rough edge? It’s a pet peeve of mine. Fine dining deserves a fine atmosphere. The steakhouse clearly has in writing that there’s a dress code. My wife actually spent a few hours shopping because we thought our vacation wardrobe was too casual! Looks like sales trumped the rules again as it so often does. I saw the very same sneakers, crocs, shorts and T shirts they say they expressly forbid. After we made every effort to turn up nicely dressed (which we like doing)Add to that, that the people at the next table decided to have a loud and raucous face-time call with relatives which definitely was an intrusion. A word to them by management would have been appreciated. Anyway, that’s it! We’ll be back!
This steakhouse was great!! - The porterhouse was a standout: Reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. It arrived tender, juicy, and well seasoned. - The bread basket was a nice surprise. Perfectly toasted on the outside with a soft, buttery inside. - Creamed spinach: As expected, it was creamy and velvety. The addition of crispy bacon bits elevated it - Thick cut bacon: a must for bacon and meat lovers. It's a fatty slice so it really juicy - The star of the show: Lobster Mac and Cheese: It was generously packed with lobster and the whole dish bursted with rich, buttery lobster flavor.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse – Times Square, NYC Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Times Square delivered a great overall dining experience. The atmosphere is upscale, lively, and exactly what you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse in the heart of NYC. The service was attentive and professional, and the staff made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The food was very good — the steaks were cooked well and had great flavor, and the sides were solid. It’s definitely a place where you can enjoy a quality dinner in a nice setting. While a few dishes could have used just a little more seasoning to reach that “wow” factor, everything was still prepared with care and presented beautifully. This is a great spot for a nice night out in Times Square. Strong service, a classy vibe, and good food make it a solid choice. I’d come back again.
We had just made it to town, were hungry, and didn't want to shop around for food. My wife and I dined here the last time we were in town and loved our meal. So, dining hear again was a no brainer.. Del Frisco's it is. Our second time didn't disappoint either We ordered steaks, cocktails, appetizers and wine. For the cocktails, she had the Passion Fruit Margarita, and I had the Whistle Pig Barrel Aged Manhattan. The cocktails were on point. Additionally, we both had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. For the appetizer we went with the Thick-Cut Nueske’s Bacon and the Charred Octopus. The Bacon was excellent, smokey and delicious. The Octopus was disappointing. It was overcooked and chewy, so we had to send that one back. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Braised Angus Short Rib and was later informed that it was sold out, so she settled for the Filet Mignon, and I had the Bone-In Prime Ribeye. For our sides we had fries, broccolini and the Classic Caesar. Oh, and not to mention, that wonderful warm bread for the table. All of the meats were cooked to perfection, the sides were great, but on a side note... the side of fries was way more then we expected. I would say was enough for 5 people. The steak house itself has a nice sexy ambiance, but still chill enough for the fellas to grab a meal or hang at the bar. The service was great, our waiter M.D. was very professional and attentive. He was very apologetic for the mess up on the Short Rib order and the over cooked Octopus. Even the Supervisor, (Kristin), came over and checked on us to make sure we were good and chatted with us about the New York food scene. Thank you both for a good time.
I finally went to Del Frisco's after a couple of friends raved about it. I ordered the usual bone-in ribeye to ensure a fair comparison to the many other steakhouses I've been to. Upon receiving the steak it came overcooked. We ordered medium and it was more like well done. They quickly replaced the dish, even took away our side dishes to ensure we can enjoy the sides hot with our replacement steak. The replacement quickly came as they happened to have another order of the same temperature and gave us that one instead. To my disappointment, the bone is quite small and they also wet-age their steak, which I find less flavorful. Both the corn and the mushrooms were good, however, I find their portions are on the smaller side. With the same number of dishes ordered from my favorite steakhouse, I'd be leaving feeling fairly full and satisfied. It wasn't the case at Del Frisco's. Granted, we usually order a mashed potatoes instead but I wanted to try their corn. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. The service was good and the environment was nice.

It’s expensive, as expected, but the service is good and the atmosphere is nice. My steak was tough which was disappointing.
Del frisco is definitely different from what it was a couple of years ago and I now understand why it's very easy to get a reservation at this place. They have plenty of tables available even on Friday evening. They have a couple of staff who look like managers and will only take care of the table on rare occasions. Servers do not introduce highlights of their menu or make food drink recommendations any more. Now for the food: steak is okay. I like the fact that they have a fattier cut. But they tend to overcook. It's also under seasoned. Overall, I was not impressed by my latest experience at Del Frisco's and this place would not rank as #1 NYC given where they're at right now. For tourists, honestly, the halal food truck just outside of the steakhouse is even more worthy than visiting here.
Del Frisco’s has a great ambiance and location that makes you feel you’re going to have an amazing steak! But the results are not great at all. For the price you’re paying you can get a better steak almost anywhere. We had two different cuts (med-rare) and while 2/3rd of the steak was good the last 3rd of both had a lot of tough tendons or fascia that made it inedible. We even saw another table have the same issue and spit out the tough meat like we did. Even if the steak was not out of this world, I don’t expect this from a restaurant of this level. The staff was alright for the most part but when they asked if the food was good felt like a formality and not genuine care and by the time we could answer had already moved to another table. What was weird was we weren’t offered the bread and noticed other tables got it which felt a little off. If I go back it would only be for the crab fried rice and the butter cake. Overall, disappointing experience because even if they steak was to “taste” I atleast expect it to be a good cut, or the sever being concerned when you can see big chunks of uneaten food on the plate.
As I said on Trip Advisor....my opinion matters not, because DF has managed to (in their chain), cater to the masses, and especially in NYC during the holiday-a gaggle of tourists, who think this is fine dining. It's not. As for volumes, they're killing it.....but fine dining it is not......It's steak and but for the flashy dining room, there are tons of equally as impressive Steakhouses in NYC, including my favorite Keen's. The food? OK I guess. The prices? Outrageous but that is expected, and finally the ambiance, well I wouldn't know because they sat us in the back of the upstairs. The bread service-just not good. Salads never came. Oh and when you complain they smile as they say they're sorry. They discounted our meals which we DID NOT ask for, and even then at $1000 for 5 people? I have had SO much better.
It's a chain, so didn't have the highest expectations. But ordered a Ribeye, medium, they confirmed pink with a red-center. It came out well-done. For me, if you can't do a medium rare steak you shouldn't be working at a steakhouse. It was also cold. They weren't even busy. I did send it back and it came out rare, which was completely workable. Would have to say over seasoned with a pretty generic steak rub. Now for the good. Sides were on point and service was excellent. So hopefully they get the kitchen people trained up and keep it together. Just for what they're charging I wouldn't come back for that experience.
The food was terrible. Everything was covered in big amount of oil. 90$ for two dishes looked like that was just waste of money. We could not eat this, we left restaurant being hungry. Never again here. In addition, we had to wait so long for the service that I went to admonish for a menu that we did not get
We came here with a large group during our annual nyc Christmas trip. Atmosphere was very nice, food average but the service was horrible. Server Shya La was nowhere to be found the whole time. For the roughly $1,400 we spent, there are much better places that we could have went. Wasn’t memorable at all and won’t be back. At a high end steakhouse you expect top notch service and spectacular food. Way below expectations!
I’ve been a loyal Del Frisco’s guest for years from Hoboken to Dallas to D.C., and beyond and as Landry’s card holders, my family and I genuinely treasure the experience this restaurant group consistently delivers. It’s one of our favorite places to dine, not only because the food is always exceptional, but because the locations are always clean, beautiful, and known for warm, attentive service. Unfortunately, our visit last week was nothing like the Del Frisco’s we’ve come to love. Our waiter (male, blonde hair unsure of his name) made it clear from the start that he didn’t want to be there. His service felt rushed, dismissive, and far from the standard we’ve always known. When we raised a concern, the head manager never came by our table, which only added to the disappointment. What truly broke my heart was overhearing the head waiter making rude remarks about our table. Which wasn’t addressed to keep a peaceful evening. When he realized I heard him, he froze like a deer in headlights. It was completely out of line with the respect and hospitality we’ve consistently experienced at Landry’s restaurants from Bubba Gump Shrimp to Morton’s. This visit was such a letdown, especially given how much we genuinely love Del Frisco’s. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, because it was deeply disappointing compared to the exceptional experiences we’ve always had.
I would like to begin by acknowledging that the servers and bartenders were professional, attentive, and welcoming. Their service was appreciated. However, the Shrimp Greek Salad I received during my recent visit was disappointing and did not reflect the steakhouse standards I associate with Del Frisco’s. I chose your restaurant specifically for a birthday lunch, expecting a meal aligned with your reputation and price point. The salad consisted primarily of lettuce — some visibly browned — with no cheese included and only three shrimp. The portioning and overall presentation fell below expectations for a restaurant positioned at your level. As this was intended to be a celebratory meal, it was disheartening to leave feeling underwhelmed. I trust this was an oversight and would appreciate your review of this matter and how it may be appropriately addressed. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response.
I decided to take a chance on Del Frisco's for dinner with a client, so I made a reservation a few weeks before. My party and I arrived 10min early. Waited for an hour to get seated past our reservation (first indication of how this meal was going to unfold.) Then once seated, we waited for 10 min for the waiter to arrive, placed our drink order, and another 27min to get our first round of drinks. It went downhill from there. The apps were ordered, they were okay, just average at best. The meals were ordered (steaks). They arrived and my ribeye was under cooked and chewy. Like I had to work at cutting the steak... The 2 customers with me, they didn't even finish their meals. The customers were gracious about it but I could tell that they were not impressed with the food. Living in Vegas, I do allot of entertaining of customers. I passed on Cut, Capital Grille, Delmonico's to give this place a try. Boy was I wrong for doing that. Never again will I dine there unless I decide to give them a chance again to see if it was a one off happenstance. I will say that the wine selection was good, the bar was stocked with good quality liquor. BUT the service was off, the food was horrible. I've eaten at every steakhouse on and around the strip. So far Del Frisco's is at the bottom of that list. Seriously, if you go then I would suggest to not hold your expectations too high that way you wont be disappointed. For the money, it was totally not worth it.
We have a diverse college friend group including several who work and/or live in the city and bring clients to Del Friscos on a regular basis, some who dine on a moderate basis, and my husband and I who come in on December 30 each year, from five hours out, for our holiday celebration with this college friend group. We’ve been doing this for close to 15 years with a hiatus during the COVID years. Jumping to the point. Food is always amazing, our server this year was fantastic! I wish I remembered her name but she was from Iowa and she was amazing, she made fantastic recommendations, was kind, fun and just got that this table of old friends were just enjoying our time together. Thank you for making it an enjoyable night for us. The two stars are due to the attitude of the manager and the manager alone. Our reservation was at 8 pm and, of the 9 of us, my husband and I were 10 minutes delayed to our table due to traversing crowds in Times Square from a delay with our train, changing at our hotel, etc. The manager, stocky, thick glasses and a three piece suit that was ill fitting, asked our friend, who brings dozens upon dozens of clients here every year, to call us to get our order as we were walking to the restaurant. I get it, you want to turn tables, but this was over the top. Note: all of the round tables around us that left before us did NOT get replaced with other diners so there was no table turnover for reservations after 8 pm. After we ordered desert, he hovered. He stared. He waited impatiently. He then put down a bill while we were enjoying our final drinks. I don’t like to rush a 20 year port, so this was again, rude. Our waitress returned with our bill, asked why there was a bill on our table only to discover that it wasn’t ours. He obviously threw it there to make a point. I told her it was clear he wanted us to leave to which she stated that she didn’t understand why he did that. We’ve spent over $20k at this restaurant over the years, just for this yearly dinner, and with the business meals, far more. I know we only spent $2k last night but to act like we were a burden was uncalled for when this is one of our “circle on the calendar” event each year to catch up with our forever friends. Thanks for taking us for granted and specifically ruining my dinner because you were directly in my point of view loitering over our evening. You don’t know who is dining with you, you don’t know their story or what their evening means to them or what memories it holds. It is incumbent on you as a host to cherish this.

I recently visited Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse expecting the refined service and welcoming atmosphere that your reputation suggests. Instead, I encountered an experience so unique that it …
Both steaks we ordered were overcooked. Since we were quite hungry, we ate one as it was, but for the other steak we asked for it to be remade. While the staff handled this well, it was disappointing to experience this at a steakhouse, especially when proper doneness is so important. In addition, the seasoning was uneven — some parts of the steak were overly salty. We also did not receive any bread before the meal. Lastly, the tables were very close together, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. It was one of the worst steakhouse that I’ve been in NYC.
Smh- notified staff it was an anniversary dinner when reserving a week in advance and was seated in a large booth that had crumbs left on the seats. In additional, the seating in the booth absolutely needed reupholstery. We are not paying those prices for shoddy seating. Requested a change of seating to a more intimate table setting and was accommodated. My napkin wrapped utensils looked uncomfortably grimy so I replaced with another set on the table. Waiter was a great and 5 stars, but that could not make up for the 4-5 other servers/waiters that congregated right next to our table to just talk about their miserable day. And when I say congregate, I mean that throughout our anniversary dinner, within 5 feet of our table, staff were standing there and just talking to each other totally ignoring that fact that paying customs are within reach. Overall we were underwhelmed, ignored and should have just booked somewhere else. And we have ALWAYS LOVE DEL FROSCO’S.
As a loyal Del Frisco’s guest and a Black woman who has worked in hospitality for 10 years, I never expected to be treated this way. On August 15, 2025 (Table 90/1), both my server, Sanem, and the manager/front-of-house (who seated me) were short, rude, and rushed me. They created a loud, unnecessary scene over my use of a corporate gift card from work — loud enough for surrounding guests to hear — making me feel as if I was being treated like a criminal. I was so uncomfortable that I paid with my personal card instead. I left humiliated, singled out, and unwelcome. Despite this, I still left her a $20 tip. Del Frisco’s needs to address this immediately to ensure no other guest is treated this way. Update : I contacted Del Frisco’s directly with the details of my visit as requested. but there was no response and no follow-up. This lack of acknowledgment only reinforces the poor service I experienced. Consumer Beware
My experience at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse was deeply disappointing and frankly unacceptable. I arrived with my wife during a winter storm, dressed appropriately for the weather in clean, fleece-lined joggers. Despite this, we were stopped at the entrance and denied entry based on an alleged dress code. The staff member who addressed us identified himself as Edward. What made this situation particularly troubling was the obvious inconsistency in how this so-called dress code was enforced. From where I stood, I could clearly see multiple patrons already dining inside wearing jeans, worn sneakers, running shoes, and casual attire that was no more formal than what I had on. This was not about standards—it was about selective judgment. Being turned away in freezing conditions under these circumstances was embarrassing and disrespectful. If Del Frisco’s maintains a dress code, it should be transparent, clearly communicated, and applied consistently to all guests, not enforced arbitrarily at the door. Adding to the frustration, the atmosphere inside did not remotely reflect the level of exclusivity implied by the refusal. The restaurant appeared loud, overcrowded, and chaotic—hardly the refined environment that would justify such treatment. We chose to dine elsewhere and were reminded that true upscale service is defined by professionalism, courtesy, and respect for guests—not pretension. I will not be returning to Del Frisco’s, and I would advise others to reconsider if they value fair treatment and consistent service standards.
We were treated poorly. I live in New York City and have visited this location before, which is why this experience stood out so starkly. From the moment my family and I sat at the bar, we were ignored. We were not greeted, acknowledged, or checked in on, even as other patrons received immediate, attentive service. During our visit, Natalyia, along with a gentleman and another woman working behind the bar, were engaged and responsive with others. Meanwhile, we had to repeatedly wave for attention just to receive basic service. The disparity in treatment was unmistakable. What made this experience especially upsetting was not just the lack of service, but the lack of dignity. Having experienced thoughtful service here in the past, this felt like a sharp and disappointing departure. Watching others be attended to while we were overlooked felt demeaning. Experiences like this raise serious questions about whether service standards are being applied consistently and equitably. That should concern both leadership and anyone who values true hospitality.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for quite some time and I have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and overall experience until, my most recent visit. I was really disappointed when my sister’s boyfriend was denied entry due to his attire. His outfit was relaxed, yes, but still clean put together and appropriate for the setting. What made this especially frustrating was the inconsistency in how the dress code was enforced. The posted rules specifically states “no hats”, yet there were clearly other guests inside wearing hats with no issue . It felt unfair and selective, which took away from what should’ve been an enjoyable evening. As a customer who has visited numerous times, I expected better judgment and consistency. Unfortunately, this experience left me unsatisfied and reconsidering whether I’ll be returning in the future. I hope management takes a closer look at how policies are enforced so that all guests are treated equally and respectfully.
so disappointed. I’m a long time customer of del friscos and last night may be the last time I will ever go. Both myself and another person in my party ordered the prime ribeye cooked medium. Both of our steaks came out completely raw. It also had an awful taste, at the time I assumed it was because it was raw. We sent it back immediately to get cooked to medium and it came back between rare and medium rare. Still, it had an awful taste that I am unable to describe. It tasted gamey? As if it was not beef. I could barely tolerate a few bites without gagging. Either it was a bad steak or it was another kind of meat that was not beef…
