El Paso Cafe West El Camino Real Reviews
Good food. Friendly service. They made a mistake with my order, fixed it right away and then offered to also give me the wrong order to go for free anyway.
Love the tostadas among other items & the chips are always great & better than almost any other restaurant I have been to in the area
Owner is an awesome guy. Great food, good prices. Great laid back atmosphere.
It's amazing. It's super clean and fresh. Everything is thoughtful. 50 dollars total in 2 with two drinks.
Edgar and his wife are the most pleasant and accommodating hosts. With excellent food and a wonderful family running it El Paso Cafe has always been my favorite!. Try the hand made Tamales with a house sangria
Had the best omlette (Red bean chili) I've ever had to this day here one morning between Grateful Dead shows at Shoreline Amphitheater back in 1985! Glad to see they're still around.
I live nearby and I recently went there today for my first visit to eat with my brother he got the chimichanga I'm impressed that the size was big and delicious. I ordered the Caldo de pescado and it literally made me flashback to when my mother use to make it. The taste of thwir caldo is similar to my mothers. great job El Paso Cafe. I'll definitely be coming back.
El Paso Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Mountain View. I Had the Nogales Chicken, Just perfect. I went back the next day and had the new El Paso Breakfast Burrito WOW!! It was amazing. The waitress was very helpfull and friendly. The new owner is also doing some minor changes. They are going to be open for Monday Night Football with 2 dollar beer and 2 new big screen TV"s 53" inside and in the Patio area Now you can choose how spicy you want your food too. awsome. I also asked the new owner (Celso) about the salsa. He is currently, working on a new Salsa. I cant wait to try that. I thought I saw a 20% coupon somewhere. They have very good deals during happy hour. I will definitly go back. Im going to get food for my co-workers too for our next event since they also cater.
One of my favorite places to grab lunch / breakfast when I'm in the area, the chips & salsa are really refreshing and the entrees never disappoint. I've had several things on the menu and I'm always pleased with what I order.
They used to serve breakfast Friday, Saturday, Sunday. It was worth getting up early to go there, utterly delicious. New owner has improved food quality a lot. Try Chilaquiles!
Decent food, really friendly and welcoming owner. My wife mentioned that she liked a beer they didn't sell, and the next time we and in, he had bought some and remembered that she liked it ...

Authentic, very tasty Mexican food. Staff is courteous. Small place for a small group
Good small non fancy place. Tostada was huge and quite good. Chips and salsa were fresh.
I am confused by the negative reviews. I have been going to El Paso Cafe for years and consistently I found the food to be excellent. The decor is not great, but I go there for the food. If the weather is nice I sit on the patio out back... Very nice.
restaurant has been closed for over a year. What a shame. They had great Mexican food at reasonable prices. Maybe some day they will reopen??

The salsa is a little tasteless, and the carne asada in the burrito could have been more flavorful. Other than that, a decent Mexican place.
Used to love this place when it was the original owners. Now it closes every day at 4pm? Dumb. Food is still fantastic must admit.

A puppy yelping inside so we decided to take our food home. Get home and no sour cream or guacamole which i specifically requested.
I will probably give them another chance just try their margaritas and Sangria in their awesome back deck. But the food was pretty tasteless even the salsa

This place is not what the pics show, the full bar is now just a pot of tea and the food is nothing great. The waiter offered guacamole with the chips then charged $8 for it!!! Not at all what it's made out to be!!!
