Really enjoyed both the food and service! Went on a Thursday evening and it was nice and busy which is what you would expect from somewhere decent. Starters were amazing (Duck salad and prawn cocktail). I had the lemon sole and my partner had the chicken for mains and both were equally delicious. The banana cheesecake is the best dessert :-) Came in a £200 which included 4 alcoholic drinks and a coke which in my option was worth it. Service was 👌

I always love coming to The Swan, primarily for the ambience - the hospitality is top notch. But last night was par excellence and then some. Booked The Mulberry suite for my 50th birthday dinner and it was fabulous. The staff were incredible. The food was superb, service impeccable. You guys took my happy place onto another level of memories. Thank you for always going the extra mile and being frankly, five star without exception.

First visit to this incredible little gem today for our anniversary brunch, couldn’t find a single fault, not that we were looking however, staff were perfect! Welcoming, polite, friendly, felt like we were the only ones there because they were so attentive and lovely, would go back just to be treated so nicely, but the food was 5 star, perfect temperature, fresh, and really good options especially for me as a vegetarian, love love love this place! Will be going back asap!

We had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary dinner at The Swan, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant boasts a fantastic selection of wines, and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The food was exceptional, showcasing the highest quality of ingredients. For starters, we indulged in oysters, Jerusalem artichokes, mushroom and truffle oil soup. The combination of flavors was simply divine. As for our main courses, I relished the Cod fillet served with spiced mussels and a delectable coconut broth. It was a harmonious blend of tastes and textures. My partner opted for the Lamb Chop, which was tender and perfectly cooked. To complement our meal, we savored a glass of Amarone della Valpolicella and another of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The wine selection added an extra layer of sophistication to our dining experience. To conclude our memorable evening, we indulged in the Mille-Feuille dessert, which was a sweet, delicate finale to our extraordinary meal. The Swan provided an exceptional atmosphere, top-notch service, and a menu that surpassed our expectations. It was the perfect choice for our anniversary celebration, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Spent a Saturday afternoon here drinking delicious cocktails and absolutely loved it. Fabulous range of cocktails for a pub, and all the ones I ordered were delicious, unique and beautifully presented. Decor is lovely, seating cosy and service friendly and attentive. Slight criticism is the as the afternoon turned into early evening service became overbearing as a member of staff approached our table persistently every few minutes asking if we were ready to order more drinks. There were only two of us and it was clear that our glasses were not nearly empty so it felt like we were being rushed, perhaps as they wanted to accommodate more patrons arriving. But I had a lovely time and would definitely return.

Third visit and third time I've been impressed by the menu variety, high quality food, attentive service and great atmosphere. Excellent choice for Sunday lunch or to celebrate a special occasion. Private dining rooms also available if you have a bigger party than the 8 max in the main restaurant.

Stunning restaurant with covered outdoor seating, all the pretty lights make it look magical. Food was delicious and we had brilliant service from the staff. We will definitely come back again!

Fantastic place for lunch and evening meals. The food is exceptional and of really high quality. The atmosphere is cosy and very chic looking. There was a crispy duck dish for a starter that was unbelievable. Went for our wedding anniversary and they even brought a dessert out just for us, a lovely gesture.

Delicious food. Service was friendly and efficient. Can't fault it too much really. Would try it again. If you're driving , look for the car park by the high street.

Delicious breakfast- the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Please don’t ever change the recipe! (My friend also agrees and we’ve not yet had another Bloody Mary that even comes close!) Excellent service and such a lovely atmosphere. Also come here for dinner lots. Never had a bad meal - always delicious food and wonderful service.

The Swan deserves to be Michelin star. The front staff were warm and welcoming with a friendly smile. We were guided through the bar area to the dining area which was dimly lit with dark wood giving it a golden ambience and made me look incredibly tanned. Our cocktail starters were worthy of the best London cocktail bars, and I've been to the voted best ones in London. Friendly attentive waiting staff were experienced and made us smile. My steak... Oh my god. I've eaten steak around Argentina, I've eaten steak in decent restaurants in Paris. This Kentish pub placed the holy grail of steak in front of me. Char grilled lines and a couple of mm of cooked meat with a spongy pink centre. Perfect medium rare how I like it and how I asked for it. The accompanying potatoes and mushrooms were of equal quality. I was in heaven eating this meal. We went for two desserts to share and again the quality was world class. I cannot recommend somewhere more. If you're reading this, book your table now. You won't be disappointed.

We had Sunday Lunch. It was perfectly done and the perfect proportion. If you are looking for a traditional Sunday Roast, the Swan is Highly recommended.

Great service, great food, a really enjoyable evening. We wanted to go somewhere with a little bit of atmosphere for our anniversary without having the trek into London. The Swan provided that fine dinning experience whilst being able to stay local. It had an exciting menu and all the small details on point such as quality bread and ice cold larger. We really felt looked after and look forward to going again

A second trip in only a couple of months, and this restaurant still managed to amaze! Even from the onset, walking into the 'Ski Chalet' themed area out the back of the restaurant, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming! Heaters were well spaced out, and soft furnishings all around gave it a comfortable and homely feel. Despite an initial disappointment that we weren't in the main section of the venue, by the end we had all agreed that if we did returned, we'd be tempted to request a table in the back! Although the menu hadn't changed much since Christmas, with enough variety that I had several tantalising options to pick from, I didn't feel too limited. Everyone's starters were exquisite, the tuna being standout, and all mains went down extremely well with a special mention to the duck, the second time I had picked it and with no regrets! Although the puddings were quite as mind-blowing as the other courses, they were extremely enjoyable. A special mention has to go to the drinks menu, with a long list of unique cocktails, well sourced wines and variety of non-alcoholic drinks, they really covered all possibilities! In short, 10/10 would go back again (again)!

The cocktails are amazing! Didn’t go for food, but I got the Chocolate martini and espresso martini and they were rich and tasty.

Lamb rump really delicious. Small, single hasselback potato accompaniment needed some friends, for £26 though! And the side of veggies at £5 also a derisorily small portion size. Service and vibe superb, so if the pointlessly miserly approach to vegetables is rectified, this place would be perfect!

The food was amazing and the staff were great. We went at lunch time so it was quiet and the atmosphere was really nice.

We have been to the The Swan for brunch and dinner on separate occasions. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

We risked not having a reservation as it was 3pm and this posed no problem. I had the lamb which was beautiful cooked, and my wife had the mussels which were equally as good. The service we had was spot on with our waitress letting us know about the 20mins it usually takes for the lamb .This was not an issue as we had lovely olives humus with some draught curious brew. The surroundings and energy make for a lovely dining experience. I will be going again .

Visiting the area from Scotland for a wedding. This venue was suggested for a beautiful tasty meal by a relative.It did not disappoint and was absolutely perfect. Wow!! First time visiting tonight. The guy who looked after us (sorry can’t remember his name, wore a suit) was exceptional. All the staff were so friendly. The food…. Amazing. We had the soup and king prawns to start, sharing fillet steak. All the food was amazing. Great wine choices and the atmosphere was great. What a treat, will be returning again soon

Had our engagement party here and everything was so well organised by the staff at the Sawn. The food came out at the perfect time, wasn’t rushed and our waiter was very attentive. The food was amazing and the room we were allocated was perfect for 17 people. We had the best day and The Swan made it perfect ❤️

We visit the swan regularly and it never disappoints. This time was for my wife’s birthday and it was excellent. Food and service were great.

The food, as usual was nothing but excellent. Even our picky 13-year Gordan Ramsay wannabe enjoyed it. Special thanks to our waiter Toby who made it a delightful experience for my husband's birthday. The only issue was the noise level as it was full house. But other than that, your staff were lovely and over and above good service despite how busy you were. Thank you.

Such a lovely place! This was my second visit for brunch and once again the service, atmosphere and value for money were excellent. Even though we drifted into the lunch sitting, we never once felt rushed or pressured to move on. A really relaxed and enjoyable experience — I’ll definitely be back.

I booked a table here as a surprise for my best friend’s 70th birthday. I had been here before, many years ago - but this was her first visit. The whole experience was absolutely first class. From the outset, the manager who looked after us was very attentive. He was extremely polite and helpful. The food was delicious -my friend said that her fish dishes (the crab in particular) were the best she had ever had.The soup was brilliant, the steak perfect and the desserts were great. The menu was full of extensive choices and each course was served in a timely fashion.The service was second to none and we were both extremely impressed. Thank you for a very special time .

The Swan has a reputation for the ‘nicest’ place in West Malling for dining, and whilst there are other decent options too, it’s almost like people try to find fault to knock its off its peg; but we went last night as a group of friends as we’ve not been in a while and I have to say, the Fillet steak we had was up there with the best. I’ve been to high end steak houses all over the world and last nights was equally as good as I’ve had. It was perfect. The wine choices are excellent, and the rest of the menu (Maldon Rock Oysters! 👌🏼) are top notch. We’ll be back soon!

Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had a lovely time. The food was great, the cocktails were delicious, and the steak was top notch! The staff were so attentive and couldn’t thank them enough . A special thank you to Anne for arranging our table. We will be back for brunch soon!

Very friendly but professional staff, they really give you a 5star feel restaurant experience. Went there for first time to treat myself for their breakfast fry up and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely not my last visit and most definitely recommend

Came here to celebrate mine and my fiance’s engagement. There were 13 of us! I dealt with Liz to organise everything from pre orders to drinks on arrival! She made sure everything was organised for our arrival and kept in contact with updates up until the day of our meal! She was so friendly and helpful! On the actual night the staff were so attentive and polite. Couldn’t fault the service! The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone had a great night. I would highly recommend and we will certainly be coming back in the near future!!

As for The Swan the food and service is a real 5*Excellent . The only issue is no parking on site. There are car parks and on road spaces but be careful lots of parking wardens on the hunt. Parking cost very reasonable if you can get a space. We will be back though.

This is the second time that I have been in recent months. The decor, ambience and atmosphere is perfect. The food and choices on the menu are excellent. Above all the politeness and efficiency of the staff stands out. Overall, I am very impressed by my experience of the Swan.

Lovely restaurant in West Malling. Beautiful location and a lovely dining experience, atmosphere, food and service. We were greeted by friendly helpful waiting staff who were attentive but not over the top, polite friendly and happy to suggest options when asked. In a lovely premises, tables spaced nicely so you are not on top of each other but enough people in the room to create an atmosphere. The food was amazing, and good selection, the fillet steak was a reasonable price, and perfectly cooked. Perfect location for a special occasion. No parking, but parking bays near by and accessible for prams and wheelchairs. Will be going back.

Another amazing New Year’s Eve event. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The live music was enough to get people up dancing and the staff made it a very special night. Very well done to all the team that made it so special."

Great Sunday dinner, lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and good food, especially love the speed, no long wait at all! Just been recently again. Atmosphere is still ace. Food never got any better though, but worth a local night out.

Immaculate customer services. The men who served up was warm and friendly. We had Liam perform songs and really set the tone for the evening. His performance was perfect and was interactive with us. I had grilled chicken with ‘peri peri marinade’. Unfortunately for me, I found it a little bland. Not enough lemon and chilli in it. It was tender and delicious. Grilled prawns was perfect. I also ordered red velvet cake. It was lovely!🥹
