Embark Cider Works Williamson Reviews
Have so much wonderful stuff . They sell half pies!!;. It's great because we both get the kind we want😁
Excellent range of cider and local beers on draft. Good food selection for lunch as well as a small market for food and souviners. Well worth a trip if you enjoy cider!
Prime rib special was delicious along with the mashed potatoes & Cajun corn! Great selection of ciders!
Terrific little hard apple cidery attached to the farm market at Lagoner Farms, which is also great. They have a good selection of traditional and innovative ciders. I myself am partial to the crab apple cider.
Delicious Cider and Food!! Great for kids too - they have high chairs and a kids menu. Staff is very friendly.
Great place. Definitely worth stopping at! They have Beer and liquor as well as a full food menu and baked goods.
6 different ciders on tap along with 6 beers. Strawberry Rhubarb Cider is a must!! Food is great, have to try the Giant soft pretzel, the size of a small pizza!!
We’ve been visiting Embark for years, our favorite cidery. We tried to new burgers a few weeks ago and they were incredible!
Great place for food and cider -- we enjoyed our visit!
Huge assortment of ciders to choose from plus other alcoholic bevs for the non cider drinkers. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great vibe. Great service. Great live music. See head chef, Spencer, Ryan, & Peter for superb food experience!
Apples, craft beers and bakery, oh my! And there's lunch, too. Beautiful flowers. Just a great, fun place to visit!
Great drinks, a wide selection. Good atmosphere and food. Nice place to ride the bike to for dinner.
The carmel apple pecan pie is delicious and the apple dumplings are to die for. Wonderful variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and baked goods.
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious brunch with a tasty hard cider mimosa here on New Year's Eve. Very friendly and attentive staff with a warm atmosphere.
My husband and I have had lunch here twice and it was delicious both times. He enjoyed the cider as well!
I'm really not a drinker, but the ciders here are the best I've had. Really nice variety and flavors!
Delicious craft cider. We stop all the time for drinks. I'm glad to see them getting popular. My only complaint is that it is rather pricey.
Amazing food and huge cider and craft beer selection. Great homey feel with live music to help relax!
Great place to relax, enjoy some hard cider, eat some great food! Staff were excellent, kind, and accomadating!
Excellent ciders, delicious treats, apples and other local products. Will definitely include Embark in my fall apple picking plans in the future
You should not pass through Williamson without checking out Embark Craft Ciderworks and Lagoners Farm market. Awesome Ciders, huge lost of guest craft beers and local wines. Food is fantastic weather looking for a snack or something more hearty. Check out their web page for special events and live music.
Great cidery! Plenty of ciders on tap to choose from and they are good ones as well! Had the salty bread pepperoni pizza, delicious. Will definitely be returning soon!
The hard cider is out of this world. The variety is slightly mind-boggling but worth experimenting with. Sad to say, they have downgrading their delicious food menu to just wings and pizza. But I'll still stop by to pick up my cider year-round.
We love this little place. We always get a cider flight and a little something from the kitchen. The staff are helpful, vast beer and wine options. Great place to sit at the bar and have an actual conversation.
There's a wide variety of produce and other fine products . They have a wine tasting area as well as hard cider . You can purchase from many different flavors and blends of the cider . My wife and I were very very surprised at everything that's available ! I highly recommend that everybody should go visit there !
Great place with a great variety of cider, we try to get here whenever we're in the area. I only wish they had a better northeast/mid Atlantic presence and a better foor selection.
Have been here several time. The atmosphere is great , and the cider is amazing. Attached is a great farm market. Their baked goods can't be beat.
Went there for a tasting ,they had a large selection of ciders. I tried a wide variety and they were good. A really nice place to visit.
We went for Sunday brunch. Delicious buckwheat pancakes and sausage. We enjoyed some cider flights and were able to pick up some of our favorites from the store.
Love thier tasting room and cider. We had a flight of ciders and basket of French fries served with their Blueberry Ketchup. Sounds like that combination does not work but it does!
Great environment! Also a farm market, great staff and good prices. Local spirits-all drinks so far have been amazing!
Cute place with tons of options. Service was great. We got a flight and some food and took home a few ciders, some apples and an apple bread.
I came out for the strawberry rhubarb cider. It was awesome! Nice and crisp, not too sweet, and good flavor. Great food, too!
Cider tasting was a great selection and had some nice tastings. Also pretzel was huge and perfectly cooked and dipping sauces were great. Will defentialy go again. Bought some to take home.
A variety of homemade and other local craft hard ciders available at the beautiful farm style bar and market. The market and bar are in the same building and it makes for an enjoyable atmosphere. Embark has some of the best Cider around and is a slight drive off of route 104.
Came out for a bite and a flight of ciders. Absolutely loved the ciders! Was fun to try so many different varieties :) had the burrito, the beef was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back here on the reg
Embark has some super yummy ciders and is with a cute little market too! We actually bought a case of the different bottled ciders as they give a 20% discount that way. We had already tried enough different ciders of thiers to know we would like anything they make. We've tried a couple so far and they are delicious!
Wonderful little spot. They sell their ciders, a large array of apples, general goods like bulk candies, local meats and pastas. The highlight, however, is their baked goods, prepared foods, and their 20+ ciders on tap. The cider donuts are flavorful and moist. Some of the best I've ever had. If you order their french fries, do yourself a favor and ask for their homemade blueberry ketchup! The turkey apple panini was simply amazing.
They just revamped the inside to accommodate our community since the local IGA closed. I was in yesterday for the first time. I was very impressed with their assortment of items!!!
Our family went here for an early Father’s Day get together. We had a fantastic time!! We tried numerous ciders and beer, had a delicious spread for late lunch (flatbreads, burgers, fries, PRETZELS!!)…everything was delicious. Many people really enjoyed the blueberry ketchup, which they unfortunately don’t sell that by the jar. We even purchased cider, candy, and fresh fruit to go. Better yet, we brought a Dutch apple pie home for dessert. Will definitely be back soon!
Stopped in for a few drinks, ciders was on point and to top it off they had an excellent beer selection. The attached store has a great selection of food as well.
Had a wonderful experience at Embark Craft Ciderworks! I am a big fan of hard ciders, specifically of the dry variety. I had been looking for new places to try and decided to stop at Embark a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed myself. The store is great with more to offer they just cider, fresh baked goods, fresh maple syrup and the bar area is beautiful as well. Went back today to grab a few 4 packs and everyone there was very kind and helpful. Glad to have found another great Ciderworks close to home and to be able to support a local business and if you enjoy dry ciders I highly recommend the Dryhouse Jonagold Cider!
Love Embark. They have a wide variety of ciders, something for almost anyone. I personally prefer very dry cider, so the tasting room is a must for me, because most of the dry options are only available there. Reserve series and Crab series are outstanding. American Heirloom, Dry house Jonagold, and Pippin are also excellent. Good beer selection, wines and seltzers. They have a nice farm store. The food is limited but great. The pretzel is massive, comes in a pizza box and enough for our whole family. There's a farm playground for the kids, which they love, and a covered patio we can watch them from.
Good cider, Goliath subs, and a farm store what more could you want. Very nice experience will stop again.
Good place. Cider tasting flights (six ~4oz cups) for $8 is a good deal and the ciders were great. They had six ciders and a couple beers on tap. Friendly bartenders. Got the quiche to eat and I thought it was delicious.
If you drink cider and are always jealous of those that enjoy beer flights, this is the place for you! Plenty of cider options on tap ranging from sweet to dry. The bar is located in a grocery shop with plenty of local produce- we have enjoyed their peaches, tomatoes, homemade peanut butter, and fresh bread all week.
Nice cidery with some baked goods too. Ciders were delish with 29+ choices. You can purchase a flight or pint. Fun little place with a rustic vibe! I highly recommend this place if you like cider. They also have several beers on tap if cider is not your thing!
Went there just to try it out and was surprised on how relaxed and chill the environment was. The food was great. the kids had a place to play outside while us parents hung inside trying out ciders and wandering the store for treats to take home. Was able to go apple picking as well after dinner and drinks. Was a great afternoon. The pizza was fantastic.
I love this place. SO MANY options of beer and cider on tap. A cute little grocery store inside. And the food is always awesome.
10/10 would recommend. The food was absolutely terrific, and the ciders and beers were each totally unique! Service was good, and you can spend an hour in the shop area too! Pretzel was the best either of us have ever had.
Love the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Their menu is varied and never disappoints! The staff is always helpful and friendly. I hope they never stop offering their BLT! It easily makes two meals! The specials are a big draw. I love going when they have entertainment. The music is a great addition! Try the cider flights! I never thought I liked hard cider until I discovered their Old Marauder!
This review includes Lagoner Farms and on-site Cidery, Embark Craft Cider. We had a delicious flight (selection of 5 of the many on tap varieties) with lunch. They also have a very large selection of craft beers. They have bottles and cans of the cider for sale in the attached store. Perfect for a visit anytime, but especially nice in Apple season. They have Upick apples of many varieties, a store with local farm harvest items and products. There are plenty of kid-friendly options and outdoor playground and picnic tables. Well worth the drive, it is a short distance off of 104.
Great cider and food menu. I would like there to be a couple ciders consistently on the list. Live music is also extremely good.
Great drinks, good selection on tap. I did not have any food, but some of the people I was with did and they thought it was very good.
Great cider, decent food but slow service. If you're patient, a good spot to stop.
Delicious cider, great beer choices, service was friendly but SLOW, food menu was disappointing, awesome country store attached
Had a flight of 5 ciders. All were terrific! Food menu was a little disappointing. I'd say it's best to stop by for a drinks (and apples and baked treats) and plan lunch somewhere else.
Second time checking out this place but the first time the bar was closed due to covid. Glad to be able to try some ciders and learn more about them. Extensive list to choose from!
Great little cidery. Cute shop and decent selections for a little sit down tasting. Good day trip
Made a return trip to Embark after their renovations and it was well worth the visit. They have expanded their little store with more grocery staples which the community sure needs after the recent closing of Breens. I had a grape cider and it was good. I do wish they still offered the make your own four packs to go. Miss the larger variety of beers in the coolers too. Have not tried any of the food offerings as of yet but will do so in the future.
They have a nice cider selection at a price that isn't unreasonable. The ambiance in the bar area is extremely stark, however. I don't remember if I could even see the apple trees from that room. I'd like to see some pictures showing the history of the farm or old farm tools or cider-making equipment up on the walls. The only reason I go there is to see if they have flavors that I can't get in other stores.
Really cool place. We came because it was fall time and we wanted apples but were happy to see the craft beers and ciders available. We sampled a snack board with cheese and other items like crackers and candied wall nuts. There was nothing we didn't like however the donuts and cider were great. We'll be back sometime to catch some live music.
Cute little place! They have very limited food but the salt bread pizzas are good! As well as a huge array of ciders! They’re also half a little shop so you can buy local products in addition to their alcohol. Worth a visit!
Great space, with really good drinks and music. We unknowingly arrived just a few minutes before closing with some friends visiting from out of town, they were great and stayed open late to let us try some flights of cider! Definitely a welcoming atmosphere and great people!
Visited for a beer and cider taste. Service was VERY slow but one staff to run around and do everything. Both drinks were enjoyable with a large choice of snacks to accompany them. Beautiful fall ride.
Love the hard cider probably one of if not the best local hard ciders. Wish they'd sell it in bottles instead of cans, imo makes a difference in the taste of drinks. Will have to go back and eat there as the menu looked great.
We've been going to Lagoner farms for our annual apple picking trip since moving to Rochester and the cidery is a welcome addition. We tend to pick late in the season and it's perfect for taking the chill off. I've never been a fan of sweet ciders and Embark has an excellent selection of dry and semi dry ciders. I'm glad to see they are making use of their old-school cider trees. My one complaint would be that at $13 a flight the prices are a bit steep. I haven't tried the food other than a brunch buffet (that was quite good) but the food prices are a bit steep as well.
Stumbled upon this place last weekend. Food was excellent and the price reasonable. staff was friendly and grocery area carried some unique items. Cider was excellent with and without alcohol. We’ll definitely come again.
A wonderful variety of locally made hard ciders. Apple pie was one of the more popular ones and was really good. Didn’t get any food but the selection looked really great. It’s disappointing they don’t make their own apple cider. They have other options on tap as well. Donuts were really good too!
We used to love family feel. But now it's more about the cider rather than the family. The apple picking is still there but we miss the way it used to be. We may have to find another farm for picking.
Nice place they were restocking for the upcoming tourist season. They have a wide variety of ciders.
The gray haired lady gave us the tastings without the food. She didn't make any effort to follow up or anything. As we were walking out the younger lady noticed and gave it to us for the road. She also noticed I left my purse behind. Maybe she should be the one taking care of people instead of the gray haired lady. The younger lady is the reason I gave you 3 stars for the service. I would have given it a 1 star if she didn't intervene.
Love this place, but believe they are experiencing some growth issues as they have recently renovated. They have added a small grocery area with local goods but aren't up to speed with their deli. I have ordered 3 times and have yet to get the correct order, but I have faith they will figure it out!
My partner and I stopped here on a Saturday around 2 o'clock and dang was the service slow. The had mostly every table filled and it took about 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. I think people ordering flights really slowed up the process, but I noticed that there were people next to us at the bar that were getting another courtesy pour before we were helped. I blame the guy at the bar, honestly. The woman that finally took our order also helped me find a vegan option since they weren't stocked up on their veggie burger. I would come here again, but certainly not on a weekend. They dont seem set up to be taking food orders and drink orders at the same time very well. The ciders were damn good though!
Honestly if this place didn’t have the good food or drinks I wouldn’t be returning. Their customer service is AWFUL. Just trying to get a drink was painful, but trying to order food was even worse. My boyfriend and I didn’t even get any food because we saw how poorly they were screwing up everyone else’s orders. Then when my boyfriend wanted to pay for our drinks the lady said she had to go “find us in the system.” We could’ve easily walked out of there without paying. By the sounds of it they just need a better system to keep everyone’s orders organized so the staff isn’t running around like chickens with their heads cut off. We finally got out of there and went to Copper Ale up the road where we got our drinks and food right away.
Apples are not kept cold after picking. Mush red delicious, golden delicious, autumn crisp, and empire. Might as well juice them all, instead of trying to sell them to eat! Terrible
I hate to edit a review (see original below ) but given the recent direction I have to. They have stopped serving food, removed beer from the taps and generally gone down hill. If they bring back the real food and maybe a few draft beers and I'll bring this right back up to a 5. A fantastic Spot to stop for local cider, beer, and cocktails. We visited after advice from family. We both had excellent flights of their cider. We also enjoyed a giant pretzel. We can't wait to go back and try more of their products and food. Good service good drinks good food.
I have been here before, but tonight we went had something to eat. When you are ordering the $20 meal special it should be hot. The rest of the meals in your party should come at the same time. Neither happened. Good place for a drink but thats it.
The service was terrible ! The men behind the bar were extremely rude bad mouthing customers in front of us.. also no prices on the drinks we had to ask how much for a glass of wine and then while cashing out they changed the price and over charged us.. Definetly will not be back !
Not good service, server did not ask us for our order, hours say until 9 for kitchen, we got denied food at 8. Way over priced anyway. Not recommended.
Low quality underwhelming overpriced produce and other products. Low quality baked goods. Used to be fully stocked fruit and cheese with yummy novelty foods. Used to sell ice cream but no more. Cafe was empty with no menu. Should have taken pictures. Used to be a destination stop on day trips. Not anymore. Don't bother to stop.
Went there on a Saturday night around 6pm with three friends, ordered before all three of them, received my food last. The place was not very busy when we first arrived, however picked up after. Waited 40+ minutes for my food and only received it when we asked if my food was still coming or if they forgot about it. I then received my food within 5 minutes (they clearly forgot about it) and it was a sub par, bland "farmers plate". They offered to pay for my drink (I was only drinking water) and then offered me a dessert. I declined the dessert as my friends and I were on a time crunch and they had all already received/finished their food as I received mine and did not want to risk waiting ANOTHER 40 minutes. Very disappointed, not worth the $11 and 40 minute wait for food.
I made reservations for 7 people at 4pm yesterday and they did a great job getting us in despite being busy. However, we never once had a waiter or anyone come to our table. We had to go to the counter and get someone’s attention multiple times. When we were cashing out, none of the workers knew what we ordered. Luckily for them, I’m honest. So, I told them everything we purchased. What I did not know until later that evening is my husband had already paid for the two of our flights. I paid for those two flights again when cashing out our food bill. I’m very dissatisfied with the hospitality of this place and will not be recommending anyone to try it out and will not be returning myself.
Label your cider bottle prices so we dont have to ask the price for every one
Placed an order for a few bottles of cider on their website 3 weeks ago. Haven't received it. Sent 3 emails, with no response. Have called daily as well. No one answers the phone and there's no ability to leave a message.
