What a fun, vibrant spot! The menu has a small variety of both unique and common dishes. We tried the shishito peppers and okra and I liked them a lot! For entrees we had the WTX power bowl with shrimp and the blackened fish tacos. I loved the tacos a ton! And the bowl was also fantastic! Everything cooked well and service was friendly and fast! Nice open air seating and live music playing! Would come again for sure!

Great food and drinks. The staff was very nice and attentive. We ate there twice during our recent Wimberly trip. The trout, beef filet and chicken wings were great. We also had bar drinks and they were excellent. We especially enjoyed the Oaxaca Orange drink twice. Our next trip to Wimberly will include another meal (or more) to the Creekhouse!!

This charming restaurant sits right along Cypress Creek, offering scenic creek views and a bright, airy atmosphere. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the space feels open and inviting. Our table ordered the WTX Power Bowl, the Kale Salad with Shrimp (with the option to add your choice of protein), and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh—especially the leafy greens—and the WTX Power Bowl was light yet surprisingly filling. The only disappointment was the Blackberry Spritz. It was made with blackberry soda rather than juice or a liqueur, giving it more of a sharp bite than the refreshing sweetness I was expecting. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name—she was a younger woman with long blonde hair—and she was exceptional. Friendly and attentive, she offered great menu suggestions (though it’s hard to go wrong here) and even shared recommendations for local hikes and places to explore. We were looking for a light, fresh meal, and this spot delivered. I would definitely dine here again.

Great little place for a date or meeting a few friends. This team jumped off right from the start. The hostess girls were pleasant and quick. Our server, Keyoni, was a pleasure. Informative, well mannered, observant and attentive without hovering. We ordered a Sotol based drink called Texas Sun. Citrus based and to sum it up I would call it a man's margarita. Very nice. But not so powerful that my date couldn't enjoy it also. For an appetizer we had the Wimbo Nachos. Black beans with Pico and a very creamy queso. Fair warning the nachos are bigger than you'd expect and would be better for a 4+ person group. My date ordered the Pastor street tacos. Said they were very authentic and an excellent combination of sweet and savory. I ordered the Smash burger. Unfortunately I can't report on it because I was too full from the nachos. I highly recommend giving Creekhouse a go.

First visit. We were in Wimberley for the last of the swimming for this year and I found Creekhouse Kitchen on Google Maps based on reviews and distance. It turned out to be a very lively place with great live music and above all excellent service and great food. I was keen on getting the beautifully described pork chop which comes with garlic mashed potatoes - and I truly hate the taste of garlic. So, rather than selecting something else I asked if I could get this dish without garlic and the restaurant manager came over no less than three times to make sure I can get this dish in a way that's good for me. That's the kind of dedication to the customer service that will bring me over when we're in the neighborhood again! They also added fries, just in case I didn't find the rice they substituted for the mashed potatoes not perfect. Wow! And the food was really good, too!

Best burger I’ve had in Texas. WILDY juicy and a spectacular bun. Incredibly fresh and not ridiculously priced by central tx standards. Would definitely recommend adding tomato. Patio is also beautiful and the hostess brought my food to me out there even though I ordered to go. Lovely spot.

While traveling from Houston to Austin, we detoured into Wimberly and stopped here for dinner based on Google reviews and location. It's a quaint and hip indoor/outdoor restaurant along side a creek set inside a cove that's next to some cute little boutiques. We ordered the Filet Mignon and Ribeye dinner plates and both were very savory dishes, and we'd definitely recommend. Most of all I want to give a shout out to their Manager Zach a very kind young gentleman who made sure our visit was worth it. Thank you Zach for taking great care of us tonight. It is mostly because of you that we will definitely be back again, so please keep up the great service of going above and beyond for your customers. We truly appreciate you! ❤️

Atmosphere was really fun. Great outdoor seating area with nice views. Cute decor. We ordered the wimberley and blanco margaritas. They were perfect. Not too sweet, just right. We started with the chips/queso/salsa. All were delicious. For entrees, we got redfish tacos and pastor tacos. Both were so tasty. Great portions and wonderful flavor. Matt was our server and he could not have been better. Service was attentive, attitude was literally like sunshine. So kind and helpful. When we come back, we’ll be asking for him specifically.

Enjoyed our New Year’s Eve dinner here. Sean was a great server and very knowledgeable. Hostesses were welcoming. Queso was delicious. Will be back next time we’re in Wimberley. Outdoor Patio can be loud with rambunctious kids, but that falls on the parents not the restaurant.

Service was amazing! Lunch was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were so good. I’m still thinking about them hours later. Amazing burger. Delicious kale salad with blackened shrimp. Cannot stress enough how great our server was. Absolute pro. Outside bar set up could use work. No tap beer out there.

Exceptional customer service. The staff accommodated all of our food allergies. However, they were not willing to change up the burger to make it vegetarian (with the fried green tomatoes). The atmosphere was great, everyone in the staff was helpful.

Came in for lunch and the place was buzzing—not an empty table in sight—but service was still really great, we didn’t wait long for anything. Our server was a total gem: kind, menu-savvy, and rocking the kind of smile that makes you instantly feel welcome. Major shoutout to the GM, Josh, who somehow managed to stop by every table (including ours!) to check in. That kind of hands-on leadership is rare and made the whole vibe feel personal. He also recommend the Wimberly Way cocktail and he was spot on because that was so yummy! Now the food—wow. The Charred Shishito Peppers & Okra were smoky, tangy, and absolutely addictive (yes, I begged for extra sauce). My WTX salmon Power Bowl with shrimp on the side was fresh, colorful, and almost too pretty to eat… almost. And the truffle fries? I know you see those- Don’t even think about leaving without them—crispy, cheesy, truffle-y heaven in a basket.

Perfect, beautiful creekside hangout for food and drinks! Our friend group spent the weekend in Wimberly and we spent the afternoon at Creekside. We had several of their specialty drinks and appetizers. The Blue Hole Mule was my favorite drink, and the fried green tomatoes were top notch! We hung out by the creek for several hours and the weather was amazing sitting under the cypress trees in July! Highly recommend.

The vibe, the food, and the service are all great at Creekhouse. Grass Fed Smash Burger as is good as a grass fed beef burger can get. Pickled Roasted Beet appetizer is a sleeper. It was delicious. The service is awesome. The staff was very friendly. Ben was our server. He was great. Also just an extremely cool build out and beautiful spot on the creek. We’ll definitely be coming back.

This riverside gem is an absolute must visit! I've seen all the great reviews, and they are absolutely spot on. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a fantastic atmosphere, complete with plenty of shade which is perfect for a sunny day. We started with the fresh queso, and it was unbelievably good creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Then came the star of the show: the cheeseburger. It was thick, juicy, cooked to perfection, and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. To top it all off, their mimosas are absolutely delicious, the perfect complement to a leisurely meal by the water. The live music added such a wonderful vibe to the whole experience, making it truly memorable. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. This is the ideal spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family, offering great food, refreshing drinks, and a fantastic ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Great little spot, food was amazing, and the vibes were immaculate. I’ll be 100% coming back when visiting Wimberley A standout destination for anyone looking to enjoy upscale dining in a relaxed, rustic setting. Nestled along a quiet creekside property, the atmosphere perfectly blends Southern charm with contemporary elegance. Whether you’re seated inside the cozy, farmhouse-style dining room or outside on the patio under string lights, the ambiance invites you to slow down and savor the experience. The menu showcases Southern-inspired dishes with elevated flair. Their wood-grilled steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked to temperature, while the shrimp and grits deliver on both comfort and flavor. Starters like the smoked salmon dip and fried green tomatoes make for a strong beginning, and the desserts—especially the bread pudding—are worth saving room for. Service is consistently warm and attentive, reflecting true Texas hospitality. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and offers thoughtful recommendations based on taste preferences. Creek House also features a well-curated selection of wines, craft cocktails, and local brews to round out the experience. This is the kind of place that works for both special occasions and casual dinners with friends. Whether you’re a Midland local or just passing through, Creek House offers a unique culinary experience that celebrates the best of modern Southern cuisine in a refined yet welcoming setting. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, as this gem tends to fill up quickly. All in all, Creek House sets the bar high for dining in West Texas—and hits the mark every time.

My wife and I went on a Sunday night in December. Parking is usually a nightmare other days of the week, but we found a spot up front. It was a little chilly, even inside. Ambient noise was a bit high. Staff were attentive and friendly. The food was great. I had the chicken sandwich while my wife enjoyed the fish tacos. We both upgraded our meals - my wife with a very generous "side" salad while I opted for garlic parmesan fries. We also both loved the butter pecan old-fashioned. It was a lovely evening.

Let me start off by saying the food was fantastic. I got the ribeye sandwich with the cucumber salad and my boyfriend got the salmon, both were absolutely delicious, and so were the drinks. Our server however, seemed to not be in a rush whatsoever and was just too casual for my preference. I am a server/bartender myself so I hold people to a high standard and there was just a lot of 'ums' and 'uhs' and unnecessary explaining. Most of the staff seemed to be highschool age and I understand the vibe isn't very fancy but for $20-$40 a plate I was expecting just a little higher quality of service. Everyone is started off with water but it took about 10 minutes for my soda to hit the table. The food did come out fast however. Took quite some time to flag down the server to get boxes and checks even though the restaurant was mostly empty and still an hour and a half before close. Seemed to have poor coordination dropping drinks and food to the table as the servers don't have trays? And have to carry everything by hand 2 items at a time. Overall was a moderate dining experience, like I said very delicious and it's possible I just didn't have a great server. Would definitely order to go food from Creekhouse though! Edit: They charged 20% automatic gratuity for large groups and we were still prompted to leave extra tips. Server seemed to be getting a kick out of the fact that he barely did anything and got over $100 in tips from all of us combined. The service was worth a 10% tip AT BEST. Not happy that this wasn't disclosed to us before we sat down!

The atmosphere here is amazing. Such a nice view. Food and drinks are good. Service is decent although my wife and mother got passed over and ignored twice at the bar. Some of the servers look like they're in high school. They were out of shrimp and grits and two other items which was a shame. All of our selections came out fresh. The only issue was the ribeye sandwich was a bit chewy but still very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place for later in the year. Not sure if I'd dine on the patio during summer. All in all, worth the stop!

Cute place. Variety of seating options. Grilled chicken sandwich was good size with delicious french fries. The wedge salad was just a salad with little blue cheese crumbles. Not really a wedge. Marg was tasty in rock glass TX style.

Went to check this place out after an Easter Sunday Hike in Fredericksburg.. thank goodness they were open.. My bf and I both got their double smashed burgers.. one with truffle fries and the other their cucumber salad.. when we got our food, they gave us regular fries instead of truffle.. we told our waitress and she brought us an order of truffle fries.. so that was cool.. burgers were average but their truffle fries and cucumber salad were delicious!! For appetizer we got the grilled shishito peppers and okra.. what a great combo, however, both could have been cooked and grilled more..
