Dolci Paradise Bakery Woodside Reviews
I live quite a bit of a ways away from here, but the cheese danish is definitely worth the half hour drive. My daughter loves a concha with hot chocolate and this thanksgiving we got two pies that were phenomenal! If that wasn’t enough we always get treated like family at Dolci and thats probably why we end up stopping by so much, that and the cheese danish did I already mention the cheese danish?
Fairly new to the area and been searching around to support the local businesses. After enjoying a quick bite at De Mole we needed something to satisfy our sweet tooth. Dolci is right around the corner and their sign outside mentioned they carry raspados (shaved ice) and ice cream. We walked in and they sold us on 4 cups of shaved ice. We got Tamarind, Mango, and Lime. I recommend mixing mango and lime as it was delicious and the fruit juice tasted so fresh. Now if you're looking for a hint of heat to balance the shaved ice, ask for a drizzle of Chamoy. You'll thank me later.
I'm a big fan of sweets and after have this, I'm not sure ill be getting cake from anywhere else. The chocolate and hazelnut mousse wasn't too heavy or airy, just the right texture of creamy and smooth with the cake itself being soft and moist. The sweetness of the cake was perfectly balanced, the little crunch at the end with hazelnut on top was just a perfect last bite.
Twice I drove by woodside neighborhood, happened to stop by this Bakery , had a crave for Tres Leche cake 🍰 but at time they ran out of it, the pastries and coffee, seems tempting look to stop by or make a revisit to this bakery

Don’t know how I never saw this place before I started working from home but it’s such a neighborhood treasure! Great coffee and pastries — the conchas are perfection. The owner is so sweet too!
Secret. Delicious coffee and baked goods.
The best place for the best breakfast. Really good service. You have to buy something, they have the best cookies and croissants ever. Let alone the cakes and deserts, delicious.
Just stopped in today for a guava croissant and apple turnover. Absolutely delicious! And the owners were super friendly too.
I wanted a Rainbow cookie cake for my birthday and it was Delicious Thank you
Hidden gem! Absolutely loved their egg & cheese croissant, coffees are great as well!
You pass this bakery and it smells so amazing, that's how they got me in! And it's amazing
Nice bakery to get fresh pastries. I have a few ones which I go and is all about distance and how much I want to walk with my dog, so is more about distance convenience. Their Croissants are fresh and delicious, I have a small electric oven which I enjoy warning up very quick anything I want to eat, as I do not like to use my gas oven. While everything is good, fresh, and tasty here, with seating on the outside, I don't give it the 5 stars because it doesn't have as many wide variety of pastries, as other places. I get it, is a small place and they just focused on a few items very well cooked. :)
A great, small local bakery! Staff is always so sweet and the treats are always delicious! I love their mini black & white cookies and croissants
Dolci Paradise Bakery is a gem to the Sunnyside Community. This family owned business takes great care of their customers and their pastries are always fresh and delicious. You walk in and the enticing aromas consume you, their smiles and courteous service keep you coming back! I hope that one day they can expand their business so that other communities can see just how good they are! Thank you all for always being great, and we look forward to seeing you again after the quarantine has been lifted. Take care and be well! :)
Best concha I’ve had in Queens 🩷
Wow I have to say this is an awesome place. The owners are super friendly people, they offer a huge variety of delicious pastries, definitely best bakery in the neighborhood. We need to continue supporting local businesses like this one. Fully recommended.
Love this family owned bakery and their delicious pastries. They offer a great variety of delicious treats from chocolate croissants (my favorite) to dulce de leche cake and delicious cannolis. Definitely recommend stopping by and supporting!
Where can I even begin to describe this magnificent gem of an establishment in Sunnyside? It's hard to put into words all the lovely experiences I've had here, but I'll try my best to describe it. From the moment you walk in you are greeted and welcomed by friendly faces with warm smiles. Their coffee, which is always fresh, will warm you up on those cold New York days. I'm not a huge coffee person, but I'll always have a cup from this bakery as there's something special about it. And if you're not a warm coffee person, their iced coffee is just as delicious. Honestly, the toughest aspect of this bakery, is deciding what to select to eat! Whether it's their various flavors of croissants (chocolate chip is my favorite), their array of delicious desserts (cookies, doughnuts, churros, and cannolis), and their wide selection of cakes. They're all delicious and will leave you coming back for more. In the summertime try their horchata! Absolutely refreshing in the hot and sweaty summer. I have ordered a number of cakes and I have been absolutely amazed and blown away with the results every time. No matter the event or occasion their cakes are magnificent and affordable. Words can only do so much when describing this wonderful establishment. Go check it out, I promise you, you'll fall in love! I know I did.......especially with those chocolate chip croissants.

My wife and I started to get my coffee and her coffee here. Its small but a nice place to grab and go. We love their croissants too. No seating inside but there is outside. Coffee is fresh! And good! Staff is only the owner but very friendly owner. They have nice decorations and care about how you want your drinks. Quick and nice service. I will be coming back for more pastries next time! The lady who served us is very nice and quick. Served immediately too. No wait. -Review from Jack and Marissa

it's my first time to order from this local bakery. the people are nice. I got a strawberry shortcake and a small box of cookies. The cake was ok but the cookies were old. It is so disappointing when you are happy to pay the price but you get old stale stuff. You cannot do that to people if you want repeat business.
Usually my go to spot, but recently I've noticed some pastries are rather dry. Almost as if they may have been sitting out for a while. Not sure if this is a one off, I had to be honest about this.

If I could give a one star, I would. I still vividly remember the day that I had my coworker order flan for me in Spanish. She quoted her $25 dollars and requested that we pay a deposit the same day which we agreed. So after work, I walked into the bakery with cash in hand to pay for the full thing rather than just partial. The counter lady who could barely communicate in english whispered something to her daughter. The daughter then translated to me that the price is now magically $35. After going back and forth a couple of times, I told her that I would like to speak to her boss which she then called someone and spoke entirely in spanish. I am all about supporting mom and pop stores but this has left a bad taste in mouth. Needless to say, she refused to budge so since that day, they lost a customer. That was also the day I realized discrimination is real no matter what background.
