No. 1 Chinese Restaurant

I was born and raised in Woodside, I grew up with this restaurant, as did my family. My parents and I have been ordering here since they first opened, especially back then, since we used lived right next to them. And though, I live a bit further now, I 100% of the time still go here for Chinese food. This Chinese food is the best in NYC, though I am biased and it is nostalgic for me, I've been to hundreds of other Chinese restaurants, and nothing beats this place. The food is phenomenal, and the owners/staff are so sweet, they are like family.

Great takeout Chinese food, I’ve never had a bad meal from this location. Their rice isn’t too greasy, and they have above average taste compared to other takeout spots. No one should hesitate ordering from here.

Excellent food, especially considering the price. The only downside is that you are sort of in the blind for recommendations. The staff aren't exactly communicative and images on board aren't clear.

food is decent but the delivery guy i tipped 1$ but im a teen and he said only 1 dollar it’s a cold day but i understand but i just gave him 6 cus i felt bad

The food is ok but the lady who answers the phone is SO rude for no legitimate reason. I don't normally complain about service workers because they're usually nice and are under a lot of stress, but soon as she answered the phone and I asked a question about the menu, she was so blunt and uptight. I don't know why she has such a b*tchy attitude, but you're gonna lose customers if she's going to always be the one answering. I suggest you have someone kind answering the phones.

OMG!! I am so much pssssst of the delivery guy I ask him very nicely and it took him less than a minute to deliver my food and it seems that he’s angry at me because I only ask him if does he need a change and then suddenly he gets angry at me and once he arrive and gave him a very good tip he shut his mouth . I hope you guys train your employees a good manners and respect eventhough there’s a language barrier but please be nice and don’t be rude . We pay delivery fee and your rude to us? After you get the tips you shut your mouth? What a good employee. You’re not worth to get a tips from other people if your people don’t have a manners. Terrible experience!!!!! Never order here again!!!

The food is very good and delicious, but the young girl that is there, especially on Sunday's so miserable and nasty. She's very rude I wish I knew who the owner is to complain directly

I am a regular costumer here and I am very disappointed of their costumer service. I ordered beef broccoli, dumplings, and chicken curry with rice. I clearly told her that I wanted no onions in my chicken curry 2 times and she said she heard me. I get a order of beef broccoli that is uncooked(broccoli) and chicken curry with ONIONS!! I called them to let them know and they were very rude and said that I said less onions when even if that was the case, there were more onions than the chicken itself. She was very determine that she was right and was not sorry. WORST CHINESE RESTAURANT EVER! I do not recommend as they are very rude and do not try to understand costumers’ points. How are they running this business?

The food is very delicious. Their attitudes however are horrendous when ordering from them over the phone. I don’t know who the lady thought she was talking to. And the delivery guy was rude. 1 star just for that

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were unprofessional and rude, with jealous, nasty attitudes that made the atmosphere very unpleasant. The chef served food that was clearly old and poorly prepared — by the time I reached my destination, I couldn’t even eat it. It looked and smelled so bad it made me want to vomit. If I could give no stars at all I would definitely do so! To make things worse, the plantains were rotten and overcooked. Serving customers food like this is unacceptable and disrespectful. This restaurant shows no care for quality or its community. I strongly advise avoiding this place and supporting establishments that serve fresh food with respect and integrity.

Been ordering from here for over 5 years and the decline in service is abysmal. The young lady who works at the front (she was there today is nasty). Last time we ordered she made a mistake we called back to report the missing item and find a solution. We ordered today when I go pick up she’s shoving the bags and with NASTINESS berating us to check our order before we leave because we complained last time that something was missing and she KNOWS she put it. Just rude and disrespectful! She needs an attitude check, to own up to her mistakes, and better customer service. Our orders are also never cheap usually $70+ so if I’m going to be spending my money somewhere i at the very LEAST expect some respect.
