The manager, Jacob, provided excellent customer service because I couldn't try some cookies. Above and beyond. Ordered via app. Some limited time cookies were on there, looked good, added to order. Get to store, cookies not available. I wanted those cookies, not any other, chose refund for the cookies. It's fine. Jacob was apologetic and gave me a free sandwich coupon. Go to redeem coupon the next day. Jacob sees methere, gave me 2 free cookies, and comped my meal. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this location.

We come here off and on and it’s always good. No issues but today was the best. Jacob, the GM, was very attentive and accommodating to us. He came over multiple times to make sure we were good and was very polite. We let him know we appreciated him tonight but wanted more people to know. Thanks Jacob!

Picked up togo salads tonight for dinner. I love the savannah chopped salad with ranch and my partner gets the pecan berry. Both have lots of toppings, thin sliced chicken, and the dressings are flavorful. The service here is always friendly and the food is typically ready fairly quickly.

We were here on October 29th and have been here many times since they opened. Today I had the Spicey Southwest Chicken Sandwich and it was awesome! I've never had it before but I will definitely get it again and again and again. Just the right amount of spice, sauce, everything. Other dishes tonight were loaded potatoes and other sandwiches. Everyone really enjoyed the food as we usually do at this location. The service was really good too.

Starving and don’t know where to eat??? McAlister is the place! I like to order online and get to go. Online ordering is super easy and fast! Everything has pictures, prices and descriptions. When your order is ready, they put it in a neat alphabetic shelf and make it easy for you to pick up and go. Staff are super nice and friendly not like other places GRUMPY and ANGRY!!! OMG and their lemonade is number 1. Not like those cheap fountain lemonades from other places. You also have an option for side dishes. So many options to choose from. The interior is very nice and clean. This is definitely the place to go :)!!

Was one of the first in line at the pre-opening where they served a free meal from 1030am-2pm. The managers were nice and accommodating. Be patient with the girls behind registers since they're still being trained. I ordered the BLT+A per mgr suggestion, and you can choose a side (e.g. mac & cheese, fruit, kettle chips, etc.). Can't go wrong with a sandwich. It tasted great, had over 4 slices of bacon, but about 2 slices of avocado only. For drinks, they have tea and lemonade and you can add a fruit puree. If you do that, I suggest not using a sweet tea base. Gets too sweet after that. Great addition to the Wylie community, and when it gets less busy a nice place to study at. Wi-Fi is fast. 🙂

Update: i wanted to add at the top of this review…the food was hot, came out quickly, and the quality is definitely there. As far as the customer service, I have received an apology from the general manager. That meant a lot to me! An apology goes a long way and am glad that McAlisters cares. Thank you for righting your wrong. I hadn’t been to McAlister’s Wylie location in a long time. Prices had increased for the kids menu (in this economy I can understand!) it was more expensive, but it’s thanksgiving break and I wanted a treat for my kids. Afterwards, I asked for clarification on cost of sides. A lady working behind the counter heard me ask the cashier and she made fun of me saying “oh le dolió” (Spanish for “oh it hurt” and she was referring to that the cost hurt) Everyone laughed. I do not look like I should speak Spanish, but it happens to be my first language. It hurt and I was completely taken aback. I did respond with “oh was she referring to if it hurt the cost of sides?? Because, yes, I brought my little children here and did not even order for myself. On top of that I was just asking for the future reference so I could budget for my kids treat.” Nobody apologized and actually replied with “listen lady I don’t eat here, I don’t know the prices, I just work here” I literally cried once I sat at the table with my kids. I have always appreciated and loved that McAllister made kids meals accessible and never expected to be mocked. I hope this is taken seriously, because nobody deserves to be ridiculed. My family has been through a lot, and this was just the cherry on top and I literally cried once at the table. The food was fine, and didn’t take long. I came in after work on 9/3 and just wanted a tea. I took a big sip expecting yummy fresh tea and OMG it tasted awful! Cold but nasty. Almost like its been sitting awhile or has chemicals in it maybe. Im not sure but almost 4 bucks for a drink is crazy and now i cant even drink it. Just gonna pour it out and trash it. Very disappointed

Placed a to go order for their pecanberry salad. We live 25mins from the restaurant, so my husband got it on his way home from work. I opened it when he got home and this is what I got. Barely any lettuce. Their to go salads are getting worse and worse. So skimpy compared to when you eat inside the restaurant. Very disappointing!!!!

Beautiful sandwich! The bread seemed stale on both of our sandwiches, but the meats and cheeses were exceptional. They are famous for their sweet tea, but ours did not impress us much. Seemed like it took a little longer than it should to get our food since there were very few customers at the time. It was just ok for us. Nothing to rave about, but the sandwiches do look pretty!

I did online take out. The french dip was missing the au jus dip. The mashed potato beef gravy was so peppery it burned my husband's mouth. My steamed veggies were also way too peppered. The caesar salad was sad.... missing crutons and some bad lettuce. Both sandwiches were delicious. My 1st visit here was great but today missed the mark. I have heard back from corporate and they were very prompt to address my issues.
