La Torre Zogno Reviews
I visited this restaurant the Sunday before Christmas. I'll start by saying that the surrounding landscape is stunning and incredibly peaceful. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The menu had a wide variety of choices, all unique and delicious. There were four of us, and we opted for a hunter's appetizer with venison, wild boar, and duck cured meats...delicious. For my first course, I chose a risotto with Formai dei Mut cheese and local truffles. Truly delicious. The waiter even went out of his way to grate the truffles. For the second courses, they had a wide selection of both local and international meats. I chose a Fassona rib-eye steak, which was excellent. It was also served on a griddle at the table if you wanted to continue cooking it yourself. As a side, I had polenta taragna and sautéed mushrooms. I'll definitely be back.
An excellent restaurant for a dinner or lunch with friends. The atmosphere is well-maintained and spacious, with a beautiful view of the valley and quality products. The staff is attentive and professional, and the menu offers a wide selection, and everything we ate was delicious! The only "flaws," if I may say so, are the lack of parking and the excessive noise from other diners, both of which definitely impact my overall rating of the restaurant. I highly recommend it!
Warm and welcoming atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, and kudos to waiter Mirko, who was very professional and friendly. I ate the best risotto I've ever had here, with Bitto cheese and blueberries, an intense and distinctive flavor, and also beautiful and beautifully presented. The casoncelli were very delicate compared to other recipes. The polenta taragna was rich and creamy, the porcini mushrooms were average. The gelato with warm berries was excellent. Parking is convenient and close to the restaurant, and the prices are fair.
Fabulous food and service with incredible scenery
Very nice restaurant with an amazing view of the mountains. In the restaurant you can find gluten free options. All meals are fresh and delicious, you can see how to prepare dough for pizza.I ate GF pizza, the rest of my family ate tagliatelle, boar, roe, grilled meat with regional cheese and polenta. The service speaks English, and all of them are friendly.
Lovely out of the beaten path restaurant. The staff was lovely, food options varied and delicious. Had a shared platter of local cheeses for starters, meat raviolis and chestnut raviolis as veggie option which was surprisingly good! Desserts were nice too
The food and service was fabulous!
Top!
Lovely place! / came back again and almost missed our flight from Bergamo but it would still be worth it ;) top class food, we will be back. Be sure to order beef (steak) there. Thank you for your welcoming service!
Nice atmosphere, excellent food and vine, very accessible prices. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff and amazing food! At lunch there is a special menu, for only ten euros you get a main dish, a second dish, a side dish, bread, drinks and coffe
Super
We went last night for my partner's birthday, a very nice and welcoming place, the food was truly top-notch. The only flaw? I had asked for a candle when booking just to do something nice, I even sent a message in the afternoon just to make sure it was done, the cake arrived without a candle, unacceptable to forget something like that, especially since I went specifically for my birthday, what a shame!!!
crowded at lunch time It is difficult to find a tablet over all not bad food
The casonceli were so-so, and pizzoccheri weren't reheated very well. The potatoes inside were cold. The tagliata wasn't great. My pork pieces with porcini mushrooms were chewy. Looking at all the reviews, I was hoping for better. I can't say I ate well. I don't recommend it.
