Great portions, great taste, worth the short walk if you're in downtown Albany New York.

I've been eating the food there since July of 2022, and every kind of sandwich I've eaten has been abundant and delicious. I personally recommend the Meatball Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Salad, and all of the Italian sandwiches and salads.

I am never disappointed when I stop into Miranda's for lunch! With everything going on it's refreshing to see familiar faces that are welcoming and friendly every single time. I always get the Italian sub, the rolls are so fresh, the meat is sliced nice and thin and is also very fresh. There is no "slimy" feeling to any of the ingredients from sitting too long - it's like they just sliced everything on the spot! A+/5 stars all around, I love these guys!!

If you work or live downtown this is by far the best deli in the area. Coming from LI I am a tough deli sandwich critic and this is the only place that comes close. My go-to items are the roast beef special and the corned beef rueben. I am sure everything else they make is also great. Owner and staff are super friendly and prices are reasonable. I'm from downstate NY and I always complain about the delis in Albany. But this place has been my first exception. I went for lunch and ordered the roast beef special. First off, at the last moment I realized that it was cash only when I was at the cash register and the cashier told me that I could come back some other time to pay. I was blown away by that generosity and just found the nearest atm. Second, the roast beef sandwich was delicious and I've been craving it ever since. Prices are also very fair. I would highly recommend!!

Great people and always friendly willing to go that extra mile. Live the sandwiches and hot meals. Get their early for the eggplant parm because it sells out the fastest. One issue is that they do sometimes need to make sure the bread isn’t dry because sometimes it has no moisture which makes for an unpleasant sandwich. I won’t drop a star for that though because they’re overall the best in downtown Albany

I stopped by as I was driving through the area due to reviews and route proximity. We were looking for a quality sub. It was an easy access location in a nice looking area. I had no issue parking. The experience and subs were terrific! We will make a point of stopping by again when in the area.

This place is just great. I've been here at least 20 times over the past 4 years and they never disappoint. Today I tried the turkey reuben for the first time (sub cheddar for swiss) and it was HEAVEN. Tried really hard to eat slowly and savor it. I also LOVE their chicken salad on a wrap or sub. For a can of seltzer, a huge bag of chips and the reuben I paid exactly $10.

I work downtown and have visited Miranda's 100+ times for lunch. I've never had a bad experience here and the staff are always very friendly. Simply the best deli in downtown Albany.

I have been here twice. Every time the people are incredibly friendly smiling and welcoming. First time I got a pizza slice was pretty good. The second time I got the jerk melt. The jerk melt was so good it had cheddar cheese and the shredded chicken had a good spice. Will be returning.

We were just passing through Albany and happened to park right next to Miranda’s. What an incredible stroke of luck! We were visiting from the west coast and my wife and I love New York deli sandwiches. The Italian Stallion didn’t disappoint! We were so happy, but our kids (who are certifiably insane) didn’t want sandwiches. They ended up having pizza (very good) and chicken soup (also very satisfying). Add in the super friendly service, and we felt incredibly lucky. Of course, with 4.8 stars they gotta be doing something right!

If you love brownies, don’t miss this place! Their brownies are incredibly soft, moist, rich, and absolutely delicious.

I was up visiting from Long Island, this spot was recommended for lunch. I got "The Gabrielle" Wow this sandwich was great. The service was fantastic. The owners worked the restaurant with their family, seemed to really care about the end product and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place again. The gentleman who runs the counter is absolutely a gem of a human being. The Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and was cheaper than other places VERY close by. Between the amazing service and the unbeatable prices this has quickly become a favorite of mine.

I just stopped by this place for the first time and was very pleased by the experience. I park in a garage down the road and walk past this location on my way home, and I was walking by after a long morning of classes and decided to stop in. The environment was awesome, they had some country music playing (I love country) and every one of the employees was super friendly and welcoming. I was introduced to Miranda's Deli by a co-worker. Ever since then, I have visited this establishment whenever I am in the office and let me tell you... it never disappoints!! The staff are some of the nicest people! The food is always amazing! And.. every so often the owners dog is there "working" and is the sweetest addition to the place. Please don't be intimidated if you arrive and there is a line down the street - because the staff are incredible and serve each customer so quickly, it's almost unbelievable. I highly recommend. 😁

Take a look at this sub. This is an American sub from Miranda's. Turkey, roast beef, and ham. Do you know how much it cost? Eight dollars. This sub was practically the size of my whole arm. And it was absolutely delicious. Miranda's also has a legendary sub named the "Italian Stallion" which, to be honest, is better eaten than described in a review. You'll thank me later. This spot is easily one of the best delis that I've ever been though, and I wholeheartedly believe it is the best deli in the Capital Region. All of the sandwiches are amazing, the soups are homemade and fresh, and the place has an awesome vibe to it. The owner rings people up while blasting country or rock music out of an amp behind the register, usually singing along to it. Everybody is always in a great mood. The staff is always friendly. It's a little hole in the wall joint, with a regular stream of customers, specifically law enforcement and state workers - so you know it's good - and if you come around lunch time, you better expect a line. Cash only, but who cares. I'll take an ATM fee for these cheap, delicious sandwiches every day of the week.

I am a Realtor and Jonathan Wagoner from Premium mortgage catered my Brokers Open today at 22 Silo Dr., Halfmoon/Shen schools. He brough two huge platters of subs (cut up in quaters) with all the dressings to the luncheon today with macaroni salad. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I have to say that I believe these were the best subs I have ever had and the tuna macaroni HAS to be home-made. EVERYONE was raving about it. We had about 20 agents through and I brought the left overs to my office and it is amazing how everone was going on and on about the taste and quaility. Update (12/15/2020): The subs are still HUGE Portions!! They are open and yes the Country Music still plays here :) Wow is the sub huge or what!!! Got the large Chicken Salad sub - Yum!!- it was delicious. Was my first visit to this place and I made the mistake of going at noon...the line was out the door. However, I was in and out within 10 minutes...not bad. It's cash only, but has ATM on premise just in case.

The crispy chicken Ceasars Salad wrap was delicious along with oatmeal raisin cookie. Will definitely return. All the food looked really good and fresh. Service was fast and pleasant!

Ok... THAT'S what roast beef should taste like.... Fresh sliced, med-rare beef, lovingly paired with a kick of horseradish. Friendly owner (with gorgeous blue eyes) and amazing sandwich. ETA. I mentioned to somebody in Manchester that there was a great subplace in Albany and she knew exactly where I meant. If people are talking about your food a couple of states away, you know you're doing something right...

As a native new yorker from the city, this is hands down the best bacon egg cheese breakfast sandwich in Albany NY. I add hash brown on a everything roll. It tastes like home. The bacon and hash brown is crispy but not burnt. It is not overly greasy. It is delicious. I highly recommend. Service is wonderful. Staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Visiting Albany for work from downstate and this Deli even blows most city delis out of the water!! The sandwiches are freaking great. Fresh bread, massive portions, and a very friendly family atmosphere. 11 bucks for a massive sandwich is such a great deal. If you are in the area it can get very busy at noon due to all the state workers on break but it is so worth it!!

All I can say is wow wow wow! It’s so hard to find a good place that has a great atmosphere. Great food. Great customer service. They even have Their family dog who is so cute and made the experience 10 times better because I do love dogs. I ordered a turkey lettuce and tomato on white bread with chips. Everything came out to $11. They do take cash only and they do have an ATM. I believe the gentlemen that cashed me out he told me to pay him next time because i didn’t have cash on me. which I thought was so generous and so sweet, but I did go to the ATM because, im not like that I don’t like to owe anybody money but the fact that he did that was very genuine. I give it 10 out of 10 they have literally everything I can’t wait to try their pizza which they start serving at 11 o’clock. I believe . It literally reminded me of a New York City deli , come check them out. They are great.

This place simply has some of the absolute best sandwiches you will find in the capital district. I used to work downtown but retired 5 years ago and have been in there two or three times since. They always remember my name, and the sandwiches and wraps have remained of exactly the same high quality since I used to frequent them years ago. Always fresh, always delicious, always very generous. The staff are friendly, efficient, and... I don't know if I can come up with enough good things to say about this place. Even though I don't make it down to downtown as often as I used to, this place is always right at the top of the list and actually *is* the list when it comes to lunch.

I’m new to the Albany area, the reviews were spot on, this place services great food with so many options. I ordered a small Italian stallion on a sub, small is not small you definitely get a very filled sandwich pack with so much flavor. My fiancé ordered a roast beef sub, he’s more of a simple sub person, mayo, lettuce, salt and roast beef. He agrees that this will be a place we will be back again to try other stuff like pizza and more. Oh and they use boars head which we love since that is what we are use to from living down state. The service was friendly and fast. You can either order to go or eat in the quaint little dining area. If you haven’t tried this place I suggest you do, you won’t regret it.

Behind me, in line, the people stacked up full to the brim in a matter of 1-2 minutes. Thankfully I was at the front of the line. In front of me, the kitchen was active. Hands were moving, bread was toasting, cheese was melting, and smiles were exchanged. The people still were piling in the front door. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. This is, truly, my favorite deli to go to. Any chance I get I take friends and family here to get treated to some awesome italian sandwhiches. This place ticks all the boxes: excellent bread, hearty but balanced portions with meat, creative and traditional sub crafting, family owned and run ( the owner is usually right at the register, great atmosphere, and all for really 'humble' prices. I moved to seattle about 3 years ago but anytime im back in albany, I make a point to dedicate at least one or two visits here. I love italian subs so much because places like this exist! The roast beef special is my favorite but all the sandwiches and pizza hit the spot perfectly.

Best Deli in the Albany area Amazing pizza Great prices especially for downtown Great service Amazing family owned Cute dog (even though I am afraid of dogs lol ) And let me say the father and his family are so welcoming. Be smart on when you go because the line can be outside but they move fast never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Also they only accept cash or Venmo but 100% worth it. If I am in downtown Albany I am most likely coming here for lunch. 100% recommend this location!!!

Miranda's Deli is my favorite place in the Capital Region to get a sub hands down! It's a cute little do in downtown Albany. My favorite sub is turkey, ham, salami, and pepperoni, and they do not skimp on the meats! I do wish that they would add a bit more veggies and condiments to accommodate all the meat, but not a huge deal for me though. The prices are very reasonable, a large sub and a bag of chips cost me under $15. The staff is super friendly, I've been coming here for a few years and the same people have been here since my first visit. The earlier you arrive, the better, during lunch time they get very busy and the line is literally out the door. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend you stop by.

Miranda’s is an above average sandwich and soup shop by todays standards in terms of food quality. But the high prices, request for tips on to-go/checkout, and slow service brings their rating down.

Everyone raves about this place so having just been promoted to a job in Albany, I had to try them. Ordered an American mix for my first sub, asked no cheese...got a sub with cheese, also didn't have roast beef on it, the bacon is burnt, and it's not even on a sub roll - just a cut up hard roll. What a joke of a place. Will not return.

I bought a salad today and ate about half of it before noticing actual flies mixed in with the greens. This is completely unacceptable and honestly made me feel sick once I realized what I had eaten. I expect basic food safety and quality control, and this was nowhere close. I stopped eating immediately and threw the rest away. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again unless they address their food handling and cleanliness. I just wanted a fresh salad not insects.
