This place simply has some of the absolute best sandwiches you will find in the capital district. I used to work downtown but retired 5 years ago and have been in there two or three times since. They always remember my name, and the sandwiches and wraps have remained of exactly the same high quality since I used to frequent them years ago. Always fresh, always delicious, always very generous. The staff are friendly, efficient, and... I don't know if I can come up with enough good things to say about this place. Even though I don't make it down to downtown as often as I used to, this place is always right at the top of the list and actually *is* the list when it comes to lunch.

I’m new to the Albany area, the reviews were spot on, this place services great food with so many options. I ordered a small Italian stallion on a sub, small is not small you definitely get a very filled sandwich pack with so much flavor. My fiancé ordered a roast beef sub, he’s more of a simple sub person, mayo, lettuce, salt and roast beef. He agrees that this will be a place we will be back again to try other stuff like pizza and more. Oh and they use boars head which we love since that is what we are use to from living down state. The service was friendly and fast. You can either order to go or eat in the quaint little dining area. If you haven’t tried this place I suggest you do, you won’t regret it.

This place is hands-down the ultimate lunch spot during the week. The food is outstanding—every single item on the menu is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You seriously can’t go wrong no matter what you order. The prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. People are always shocked at how inexpensive it is given the great selection and variety. From classics like the Italian Stallion and Reuben, to comfort favorites like the Buffalo Chicken Sub or Meatball Parm, it’s all fantastic. If they have eggplant Parm on special, you have to order it. It is the best, but it goes fast so get there early. What makes Miranda’s even better is the family that runs it. The same friendly, hardworking team is always there behind the counter, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Even if the line looks long, don’t worry—they move it along quickly and efficiently. I absolutely love this place, and it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite for so many people who work and live downtown. Miranda’s Deli is a true Albany gem!

Fantastic food! Family business everything is Super Fresh and delicious. These people really care about their business this is an absolute gem in the downtown Albany area. I don't go anyplace else for a sandwich the pizza is also really good. But the people that work there really make this place plus they have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Vinny who's there sometimes. Everything is absolutely delicious but my go-to is it good to is the roast beef special or a chicken cutlet with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers

Best neighborhood deli in Albany. Breakfast sandwiches, salads, subs, pizza, wraps… you name it they have it. Great variety of drink options and plenty of seating if you want to eat there. We look forward to Miranda’s every week. The cutlets are second to none!

Easily the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had in my life. $11 for the large size on a toasted sesame bun. Enough for two people. Astoundingly good. Very nice people working there too. Get the roast beef special.

I walked up, and there was a line, but that disappeared in not time. Really friendly staff. But for what everyone wants to know. Great food. 10/10 for the Buffalo chicken sub. I'll definitely come back when in the area.

Behind me, in line, the people stacked up full to the brim in a matter of 1-2 minutes. Thankfully I was at the front of the line. In front of me, the kitchen was active. Hands were moving, bread was toasting, cheese was melting, and smiles were exchanged. The people still were piling in the front door. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. A true gem here in the city.

This is, truly, my favorite deli to go to. Any chance I get I take friends and family here to get treated to some awesome italian sandwhiches. This place ticks all the boxes: excellent bread, hearty but balanced portions with meat, creative and traditional sub crafting, family owned and run ( the owner is usually right at the register, great atmosphere, and all for really 'humble' prices. I moved to seattle about 3 years ago but anytime im back in albany, I make a point to dedicate at least one or two visits here. I love italian subs so much because places like this exist! The roast beef special is my favorite but all the sandwiches and pizza hit the spot perfectly.

Where do I even start. I have been here many times before making this review. This place is a hidden gem downtown and I will breakdown why. Best Deli in the Albany area Amazing pizza Great prices especially for downtown Great service Amazing family owned Cute dog (even though I am afraid of dogs lol ) And let me say the father and his family are so welcoming. Be smart on when you go because the line can be outside but they move fast never waited more than 5-10 minutes. Also they only accept cash or Venmo but 100% worth it. If I am in downtown Albany I am most likely coming here for lunch. 100% recommend this location!!!

A sandwich shop that we need more of! Love the location in downtown Albany. This small deli is cash only and gets a line out the door around noon. The sandwiches are delicious, stacked high with traditional flavors and worth the wait.

Miranda's Deli is my favorite place in the Capital Region to get a sub hands down! It's a cute little do in downtown Albany. My favorite sub is turkey, ham, salami, and pepperoni, and they do not skimp on the meats! I do wish that they would add a bit more veggies and condiments to accommodate all the meat, but not a huge deal for me though. The prices are very reasonable, a large sub and a bag of chips cost me under $15. The staff is super friendly, I've been coming here for a few years and the same people have been here since my first visit. The earlier you arrive, the better, during lunch time they get very busy and the line is literally out the door. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend you stop by.

I bought a salad today and ate about half of it before noticing actual flies mixed in with the greens. This is completely unacceptable and honestly made me feel sick once I realized what I had eaten. I expect basic food safety and quality control, and this was nowhere close. I stopped eating immediately and threw the rest away. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again unless they address their food handling and cleanliness. I just wanted a fresh salad not insects.
