I tried Wraps and Quesdilla here. They have vegan options too. I felt too kind for it as I dont eat meat, its not an easy task to find veg options everywhere. I like the pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff here. I have a fav smoothie called "Bahama mama", it's all time fav to me. Today I gave a try to their new launch from the sample they have given called Green dream yogurt bowl😋. That is so sweet of them 🥰. It's absolutely delicious. Im eager to try the other items even. Perfect place to Grab your friends and family to enjoy; to get tasty food when you are in hurry within your budget.

My kids love going to Tropical Smoothie Cafe! It’s a sweet little spot we just found out about and enjoy going to for an after school treat. They have delicious smoothies and a nice food menu. The kids especially like the candy straws! :)

Very excited to have another lunch option in the neighborhood. I've gotten take-out here a few times already, and my order has always been ready extremely fast -- faster than the ETA. The food and smoothies are fresh and tasty too. Also, the smoothie portions are pretty large, especially for the price.

First time trying Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I ordered the PEANUT PARADISE™ with whey - my girlfriend had the CHIA BANANA BOOST® with peanut butter & she loved it. The best smoothies in Austin hands down. If you haven’t tried this place, you should! 10/10 recommend.

I really enjoy this place. The folks are always nice whenever I am there and food tastes great. As a vegetarian, I usually get the vegetarian hummus wrap and it’s pretty fantastic. The island detox green smoothie is also really good. Highly recommend!

The açaí bowl was satisfying and refreshing, the smoothies are also a great treat. The seating is limited but overall the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Went in the other day with my daughter for some smoothies and the service was amazing! They were fast when making my order and my smoothie was delicious. I love this location. Will be back!

I came here while babysitting a kid with autism and they were so extremely accommodating! They turned off the music for us and gave us extra bowls. There's also a playground next door! So it's a great place to go if you have kids! The food was also delicious 😊

May 2025 Tropical Smoothie Cafe is located at a great spot next to Waterloo Ice House Cafe's playground. It was very easy to order on the Tropical Smoothie Cafe app. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread made with grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes, romaine, cheddar and lite ranch dressing, and a Bahama Mama Tropical Treats Smoothie. The guy working was supper friendly and my order was ready to pickup and the place was very clean. Parking here is not a problem. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread was very large and folded like a gyro. It tasted great and had a nice flavor to it making a perfect lunch item. I recommend eating a lite breakfast before tackling this flatbread. The smoothie was huge too and tasted great. Like always the smoothie stayed cold hours melting very slowly.

I highly recommend a filter be put on any water going into the drinks. The only other critique is whoever makes the drink, if not the person who took the order, pay attention to add ins please. My add in never gets added if it's handed off to someone else.

I highly recommend a filter be put on any water going into the drinks. The only other critique is whoever makes the drink, if not the person who took the order, pay attention to add ins please. I went to grab some breakfast before work and wish I had just skipped it. I bought an Açaí bowl and once I was given my order I noticed the Açaí was frozen solid. When I took a bite it tasted like it had just been taken out of the deep freeze and was freezer burned. For $13 I was very disappointed.

As a franchise/chain eatery, I passed on this place for months. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the food and drinks after I finally visited. Everything is much better than I would have expected. My major problem with this business is the amount of single-use plastics and styrofoam implemented in each order. So much waste that can't biodegrade.
