Food is amazing. The whole menu looks good but I recommend the soupe or a Cheeto burrito.

Absolutely delicious authentic food! My family loved Caldo de res and shrimp Quesadilla! Jennifer was amazing helping us choose the best dishes 😍 will definitely come back again!

Traveler friendly. Whole family was fed incredibly at this Mexican Food gem!! Three of us got their delicious taquitos - OMG. 😋 Served with sour cream, gauc, or fully loaded on fresh fried shells. The other two chose from their value menu (over 24 options long) - tacos and fajitas. Food came out way faster than we expected with such friendly service all the way through our meal.

Leaving las Vegas and we were looking for a food. I made a turn for a coffee spot that wasn’t opened yet but saw Castenadas. I stopped at Castenadas instead and got a California breakfast burrito and a carne asada quesadilla. The food was so yummy. The salsas yummy and flavorful. It really became a highlight of my trip in terms of food. I ate at several places in Vegas and there was nothing like Castenadas. Also, the cashier was friendly and greeted us with a smile. This location will be a main stop in future trips.

Saving the city of Baker one order at a time. We initially went to del taco while heading to Vegas and it was closed at 130am. As a matter of fact everything was closed but this hidden Gem. The food was fresh and had awesome flavor. The quesabirria tacos, the taquitos and the asada burrito were a hit. Good thing Del Taco was closed, this was 10 times better!

It's about time I made a review. I've been coming to this establishment for just over a month, 4 times a week, trying all their different dishes. Overall, I must say I truly enjoy this establishment. The food is delicious, very flavorful. ​I'm not gonna tell you what you should try since we all have different likes and dislikes. Nevertheless, I highly recommend you give it a try. I think you'll find a new pitstop for your next adventure. ​Don't let me forget the people that work here. From what I've observed, they enjoy their job and are very knowledgeable at what they do. They are always friendly and helpful if you have any questions. ​Lastly, if you're just thirsty and wanna grab a drink, their aguas frescas are very delicious and they have a wonderful variety. ​At the end of the day, this is just my opinion. Everyone has their own tastes. I highly encourage that y'all give it a try and let us know what you thought.

OMG 10 out of 10 the best carne asada burrito I have ever had! I am soo glad Del Taco was closed so I could discover this little gem! I will definitely be adding this place to my list of stops on my future Las Vegas trips 🤤

Service here was very friendly. They offered us freshly brewed coffee while we waited for our order. Burritos were delicious and salsa bar was great too. Good stop!

Menudo was delicious, went after a long night. Staff was patient and friendly. Got myself a mineral water and a Mexican bottle coke to go along with my food. They have a variety of drinks and food to quench any hunger.

The price is high, but you’re in the middle of nowhere, and the food is actually really good, even if there’s only one guy in here running the place.

Stopped here on our way through because of marie delgado's google review and she led us right. Fantastic food, service was friendly and quick, and I'm glad to know going forward that they're open 24 hrs. That's a huge game changer for road tripping! It's right next to a charging station if you need it, but even if you don't, this is the place to stop for a quick, high quality bite. We tried several burritos (al pastor California, carne asada, and chicken) and the carne asada fries. All were delicious and we'd order again.

Stopped to charge my car at the newer Tesla charging station this morning and was lucky to find this gem. I ordered a Machaca Breakfast (shredded beef and eggs). Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in years. So good. I didn’t realize they had a salsa bar till halfway through my meal but i still tried a few salsas and that was on point too. The service was great too. Friendly staff. Both the cashier and the cook asked came out to check on how my meal was. I’ll definitely make sure to stop here every time I’m heading to or leaving Vegas.

Stopped by to get a bite to eat while I was charging my car at the Tesla charging station next door. Amazing food... TLDR I grew up eating authentic Mexican food home made by my mother, who grew up on a farm in the 1940's learning to cook said food from the Mexican cowboys that came to help work on my grandparent's farm in north Texas. Her Mexican food was famous with everyone for it's authentic and amazing taste. The food at Castañedas Mexican Food is, without a doubt the best I have ever had. I ordered a combo of Chicken Burrito with a chiles rellenos, rice and beans. It was amazing. I have never had a chilies rellenos so good (made from scratch). I found out later the young woman behind the counter had made them. This place is set up like a fast food restaurant, and when I got food that good, I was more than amazed. Totally exceeded my expectation. My combination with a drink was about 17 dollars, totally worth it!

I was heading to Vegas to visit family I'm glad I stopped to try. The food was so good on the way back I stopped again ate and even bought food to go for the next day. The chili Verde was especially good and the staff was very friendly

Stopped by to charge our Tesla and spotted a new favorite place . We ordered a menudo , very delicious and good size for the price . It’s hard to find good menudo out there , thankful for finding this spot .

I usually don’t make stops for food in Baker when I am on my way to Vegas, however, due to the time I was passing through it was dinner time so I figured I’d go ahead and drop in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a legit Mexican food restaurant exists in the area. No frills, but they had a good salsa bar, a good variety of menu options and the meat was delicious. I tried the carne asada, carnitas and al pastor. All meats were cooked perfect, juicy, and had a little crisp to them. I would definitely drop by again now that I know it’s in the area.

I tried to call in an order at 2am on our way to Death Valley. When I was about 5 miles out and they did not answer after I called 4 times. They eventually called me back surprisingly so I ordered two breakfast burritos. They were AWFUL!! The tortillas taste like dusty cardboard, the sausage were tiny ground pieces that could have been consumed through a straw. I’ve eaten at dozens of their locations and never had a bad experience but I will definitely not be visiting this one ever again.

They eventually called me back surprisingly so I ordered two breakfast burritos. They were AWFUL!! The tortillas taste like dusty cardboard, the sausage were tiny ground pieces that could have been consumed through a straw. I’ve eaten at dozens of their locations and never had a bad experience but I will definitely not be visiting this one ever again.
