We were baaack for more 2 for $25 steak! Excellent as always. Even though restaurant was very busy, waitstaff was very attentive to every detail. We went on weeknight and ordered the steak for two.. The filet was done to perfection, very flavorful. Side was homemade onion rings. Delmonico was smothered in mushrooms, cooked perfectly to my liking, side portion was huge. Quiet place with small bar and dining room with outside dining. They are adding second story. Definitely dine there again.

Visited with friends, all enjoyed their meals. Great food and attentive service. My wife was surprised at the size of her chicken sandwich. We will be back!

9/12/23 review: What a great remodel! It's so nice inside and out now! Very clean. Super nice staff, fast service, and very welcoming environment. Dragon balls and ranch were as amazing as ever. We both got specialty Mac'n'cheese this time. Huge portions! I'll say the Mac'n'cheese itself is very bland. Once you add on the homemade chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce like I got or the brisket with homemade onion rings and bbq sauce that he got, it's absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the specialty Mac over the plain because they are mind blowing. Old review from 2018: Great wings, great dragon balls, great ranch, bland burgers with upcharges for everything, huge clouds of cigarette smoke from outside drifing in every time the door opens, and unruly kids running everywhere screaming in a bar.

I hate to write this. Steeners pre remodel used to be my go to spot for wings. And honestly the only thing holding them at 3 stars for food is their other options. But the wings have gone down in my opinion. The size, the consistency, even making them to the correct order. I had 4 singles tonight. Mild (saucy), maple (saucy and crispy), gold, and Jim beam. Neither of the saucy came saucy and the crispy weren't crispy at all. I know their wings. They were normal. This isnt the first time I've been let down by steeners wings in the past year. Not to mention after tax a single order is nearly $20....so im sorry steeners. I love you guys, your food is amazing. But nearly $2/ wings on a non wing night and the lack of consistency has put you guys so far down my list im axtually contemplating trying the swamp (never would I ever think of trying them). I wish I wasnt writing this but I cant say let's just give them one more chance another time.

Today i stopped by. Always heard they had good food. Finally found a parking spot. That can be hard, especially during the chautauqua institution season. Walked in. Seat yourself. Great menu of food. I had some and it was great. Waitress (sorry, didn't get a name) was amazing. BUT, It was the bar. Loud drunks. Arguing. The entire time. Like they sat near me. Cursing, yelling, arguing. Then I watched 2 more drunk people stumble in. And hoped they didn't park near me. If not for the bar area dominating everything, I would have rated 5 stars.

My chicken for my sandwich was.dryer than the Mojave Desert. And, for two very small.cups.of mayonnaise, I was charged a dollar each. Essentially$ 2.00 for 2 teaspoons, if that, for mayo. BTW, my grilled chicken sandwich was supposed to come with mayo: it was bone dry! Is there a mayonnaise shortage I don't know about?????

I never been here before but I like giving a local businesses my money before going to larger chains. I noticed that parking was minimal maybe five or six spots in the front at Max unless you parked across the street or next door at the gas station. Prices are extremely high for just a little Pub. They charge you $12.50 for just a burger and fries but if you want any type of cheese pickles onions or whatever for each one it's an additional $2.50 per item. So if you have cheese and onions with a pickle that's an additional $7.50 on top of the $12.50. But I went in with an open mind and ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The fries came out cold and the burger was very pink on the verge of being raw in the middle. To be fair I did order it medium well since so many restaurants if you order it well done will come out burnt. The roll was very dry. The only redeeming value was the waitress who was extremely nice and apologetic. But no action was taken to remedy the problem. When I received the check there was a credit card fee which they're not allowed to do in NYS, unless they have two pricings on menu. One for cash one for credit card. And in the middle of the check was a box with big bold letters they want you to tip up to 25% which I thought was a little extreme since this was just a small Diner & only 2 of us. Unfortunately, they've lost my business, and my wife and I love to go out to eat, and support local places

We went for a fish fry. It was bad! The fish was way over cooked and very dry. The fries were shriveled and cold. The waitress could have cared less. Our reservation was lost.

Had meatloaf it was raw in the middle. Manger would not come out to look at it told me from a sever that it's cooked medium rare all the time. Only good thing they did refund my money next time I will not get meatloaf if I go baxk

This was our 1st time visiting and we were excited to be there. However, no one came over to our table to wait on us. We never even got a glass of water or a menu.. after a long wait we ended up leaving. Very disappointing...

This place is overpriced & underwhelming We were served salsa dipping with old bay shrimp! The broiled haddock was smothered in cheese, onions & peppers like a cheese steak. Fries were soggy on two orders. Fish n chips was a big hunk of batter (hard & tasteless). The pork mac n cheese was served cold. Velveeta mac n cheese would've tasted better! We ordered Dr. Pepper- flat. Asked for replacement of Pepsi-flat. Pinot Gris- tasted worse than boxed wine. The waitress was a stick in the mud and wouldn't bus a table if it was her last ride home. The hostess is fabulous, she even buses tables! Wouldn't recommend this place to your worst enemy! Drive to Bemus for better options...
