Opiniones de Fat Boy's Vegan Burgers Brooklyn
The most delicious burgers and fries I've had in a while! The burger was so well seasoned and the cassava fries are so addictive! Definitely a new favorite spot!
I am not a vegan. But this burger was absolutely gas. Great flavor, great sauces and ingredients and the patty was nice and crispy and well seasoned. 100% recommend to all food lovers. And the fat tots are a 10/10!!
Super low-key spot that serves up really great vegan burgers I believe it's a mixture of soy and pea protein, honestly if no one told me it was vegan food I wouldn't have a second guessed it. The burger has an extremely umami flavor and is packed with a bunch of mushrooms that really add to the meal, love how customizable your burger can be. the thotty tots were addicting my only feedback is I wish the cheese was a bit more thicker almost like a nacho glaze, would've been amazing. Super nice staff and extremely informational 10/10 would reccomend
Everything is seasoned to perfection here! Easily one of the best burgers (vegan or non) that I’ve had in awhile. Honestly, the only reason I remembered I wasn’t eating real meat was that I didn’t get my usual stomach ache or feel the heaviness of a greasy beef burger. Also the nugs are perfectly seasoned! I’ll be back this week for round 2!
Visited this shop on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't crowded. There was a bit of a wait because the owner was fulfilling all of the orders by himself, but it was certainly worth the wait! I'm pescatarian, but I don't typically opt for vegan burgers and hadn't had one in years. I ordered the Beyond Petite Patty with lettuce, grilled onions, pickles and bell peppers with deuce sauce, as well as a side of cassava fries and the spicy nuggets with the wu-sauce. It was really delicious! The burger was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and went really well with the deuce sauce. I wish it was a bit hotter, but that wasn't a huge deal and didn't take away from the taste. The cassava fries were another one of my favorites and paired really well with the wu-sauce. The service was very friendly and warm. The owner was even kind enough to take a spider that had glided down from the ceiling towards my friends and me outside. Overall, wonderful experience!
Do yourself a favour; eat here. I found Fatboy’s on my way from the airport to my apartment the first day I set foot in NYC. This is the most delicious, indulgent vegan food I’ve ever eaten. On top of that, the staff are always patient and obliging, plus once there was a really engaging conversation going on between staff & patrons, which I enjoyed joining in on! Thank you, Fatboy’s for exisiting - in my neighbourhood!!
I love a flavorful vegan burger that isn’t too heavily loaded with salt. The vegan hajji was packed with flavor and offered a healthier version to a chopped cheese. I enjoyed mine with the cassava fries that was a mix of slightly sweet and spicy served with the deuce sauce and garlic aioli. The cassava was very soft and not too chewy which made it easy to enjoy. Will definitely be back to try some secret menu options, but I can’t stop thinking about how much flavor the vegan hajji added to my palette.
Came with a friend for a TikTok review. Cleanly environment, polite customer service, amazing food, each entre/side cooked to perfect texture and the sauces were ON POINT. The owner gladly answered any questions we had and even proceeded to cater to us by asking us if we needed any more utensils along our meal, sauces and if we were we happy so far and so on. We had the ‘Fat Tony’ and ‘Steak which’. Overall a great experience should definitely come by if you’re a vegan/vegetarian or even just looking for healthier options and substitutes.
love this spot! the best vegan fast food and always just when you need it. great service and most of all so delicious. great price for a quick burger. those tots are so good too. you also do not need to be vegan to enjoy these burgers!! they are just plain scrumptious. and sustainable 👍
This has to be one of the best vegan burger spots I’ve had personally. From how everything is seasoned to the texture. The vegan hajji didn’t taste exactly like a chopped cheese but the crispy exterior and seasoned 60/40 patty was really good. If I was vegan that would be my go to because I enjoyed it. I recently came from Toronto and was craving poutine, so I got the messy tots. The gravy wasn’t as salty as regular poutine gravy but it came together well. The tots were seasoned good and the spices were hitting. Their sauce game is not play with. They have a wide variety of sauces to try. Shout to my guy at Fat Boys. Service was on point. It’s the perfect size for where it’s at in bk. Small spot where you could take out or enjoy your burger inside.
Fast and delicious, had the 60/40 burger with the Fatboy sauce. It was very well put together. The burger smash burger style but still held its shape and structure of the burger. Nice char and a just the right amount of heat. Great bun and all the vegetables I ordered were fresh and crisp. Probably my 2nd or third favorite vegan burger in the city. Will definitely come back.
Fat Boy’s Vegan Burgers in the heart of Brooklyn is an absolute gem for burger lovers and my new go to whenever I want a vegan burger. If you’re ever hit by a burger craving (and trust me, it happens to the best of us), this place is your ultimate destination. Their bold and flavorful vegan burgers, secret sauce magic, and unique yucca fries make it a must-visit. These fries are more like golden pillows—soft, flavorful, and downright addictive. The friendly vibes and quick service add to the experience. Plus, it’s an all-vegan haven, so guilt-free indulgence tastes even better. Next time you’re in Brooklyn, skip the ordinary and head straight to Fat Boy’s—it’s not just a meal; it’s an unforgettable experience! 🌱🍔❤️
Great place to eat, regardless of whether you are vegan or not! Scott was super kind and helpful in recommending me what to get, as it was my first time getting a vegan burger. The patty was juicy and the extra spice gave the burger a good kick. The tater tots were also perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the added cayenne and brown sugar also added a nice spice to each bite.
I’m not vegan, but I’m definitely a food lover. I tried their NYC twist on a chopped cheese, and it was delicious. The vegan cheese was a pleasant surprise it actually tasted like real cheese, and for a moment I forgot it was vegan. I’m not usually a sauce person, but I sampled all of them and really enjoyed the variety. The yucca fries weren’t my favorite but the chopped cheese was the absolute highlight. I had mine with jalapeños, cheese, and all the works, and it was fantastic. If you’re exploring meatless alternatives in NYC, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. Great experience overall.
Today, I rolled up to Fat Boys Vegan Burgers, and let me tell you, we're talking about some serious plant-based magic happening in this kitchen. I dove straight into their signature 60/40 burger, and I've got to say – this is the kind of innovative vegan cooking we appreciate. Although I normally don't do faux meats, I wanted to give this a try. The burger itself was masterfully seasoned, bringing layers of savory depth that would make any chef proud. While the lettuce could have been more crisp and fresh, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The chef really understands how to build flavors – this isn't just another veggie patty, this is a carefully crafted culinary creation. Now, let's talk about those yucca fries. These aren't your standard potato fries, folks. We're talking about perfectly cooked yucca root that brings a hearty, substantial bite with a beautiful crispy exterior. It's the kind of side dish that doesn't play second fiddle – it stands proudly alongside the main event. What really elevated the experience was the genuine hospitality. The cook showed real passion for the food, taking time to walk me through the menu with patience and expertise. That kind of authentic connection with customers? That's what transforms a good restaurant into a great one. Fat Boys Vegan Burgers is proving that plant-based cooking can deliver big, bold flavors while staying true to vegan principles. They're not just making vegan food – they're making good food that happens to be vegan.
Solid spot for a quick vegan meal! I am not a vegan but I was super hungry and randomly stopped in here without knowing anything about the place. The “thotty” fries were great. Tots super crispy and well seasoned. I enjoyed the burger as well, only the bun left a little to be desired (wasn’t bad just didn’t stand out). Worth trying and the prices are very reasonable.
