I recently ate at king souvlaki The reservation was simple to arrange, and the staff was exceedingly helpful in addressing our unique needs. The overall ambiance was excellent, and the cuisine more than met my expectations.

I have only ever had King Souvlaki from the truck is Astoria and it was a great experience to come in person. 10/10 would recommend!

My friends own this establishment and always wanted to go there, well I got the opportunity to go last week with my Godson. I was very pleased to see how well Angelo was managing and was also happy for his Dad that has brought up such a polite gentleman. The food was exactly what I expected, it is always good in all the Souvlaki King operations. If I’m in Brooklyn I definitely would go again and bring friends.

The food is spectacular! The prices are even better. The portions are so big we can never finish our plates no matter how badly we want to bc it’s so good. My husbands favorite place. We drive here from Staten Island at least once a month bc it’s that good.

First time dining in at King Souvlaki, and one word sums it up, FRESH! The service was spot on super attentive and friendly from start to finish. "King Souvlaki" is conveniently located at the corner of 84th Street and 3rd Avenue in Bayridge Brooklyn NY. It's a small cozy Restaurant specializing in a variety of Greek gyros, like chicken, pork, lamb, beef etc. A good number of delicious appetizers, soups and salads. They also serve wine and beer. If you are visiting NYC stop by King Souvlaki...it's a popular place for locals.Their prices are also very reasonable.

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Greek cuisine and have additional locations in Queens. They have several tables for dining in and being served. I ordered the bifteki platter which consisted of two large lamb patties similar to hamburger. The platter also included pita bread, salad, dipping sauce and lemon potatoes which I selected. The chicken gyro platter was a large portion that I selected with rice. It also included pita bread, dipping sauce and salad. The avgolemono soup was good. The soup is a mixture of egg, lemon and strips of chicken. The spanakopita is a spinach pie that was served by the slice. The food was well-prepared and portions were generous.

Tonight was the grand opening of the flagship store so it was super busy but the food was very good and the portions were perfect. I had the lamb gyro platter and my friend got the king plate which took a long time to come out but it was enormous! You could def share that plate with three people and all be satisfied. I would recommend the king plate to try all that is to be offered but if you want something personal, I'd suggest the Greek fries. (Also if you like feta)

I was starving - i thought i was grabbing a quick cheap snack .. GREEK FRIES but these fries costed $14.35 for french fries 😳 however they were tasty.

I can’t believe they don’t serve their homemade beef&lamb gyro. I got the pre-made stuff from restaurant depot. If I want to eat that I can go to any halal food truck. I was expecting the same homemade stuff that have on 31st & 31st in Astoria

My friend from Russia was very disappointed and I started noticing the other food isn't as good as it used to be and I think it was because of the pandemic they started cheapening down the so-called lamb gyro with only hamburger meat. And the night manager she told me that's true it's not him anymore. I was always happy right before the pandemic but the past few years my friends I brought during the pandemic we're disappointed. I immediately show the disappointment in their faces.. I got pretty embarrassed. The staff are always very nice especially Anastasia recently moved from the Ukraine.. I guess the owners to improve I don't think they cared anymore. The pandemic really made good places worse..and in general society also.. half the people riding the buses don't pay their fare I got 5 and 1/2 years of squatters all because of eviction moratorium.. And these "professional tenants" and squatters know how to play the game when Trump told everybody they didn't have to pay rent. And that included those who had jobs. New York and the country get back to normal it's too far gone..

I’ve been there many times and I liked the food for a while. However, my last dining experience was terrible. A blond lady was serving (seemed to be the owner) and she was tremendously nasty. We came in and when we asked if we could sit anywhere she rolled her eyes. She came and cleaned the table with a stinky rag and when we asked for tap water she made a face. Compared to Blue Door and Something Greek, this restaurant could do better in terms of service. I will do pick up only.

Ordered Chicken Gyro with souvlaki sauce. No souvlaki just a spicy gyro tasting more like Turkish food than Greek. It was good but not right.

Woman that takes orders has horrible customer service. Not friendly at all. Ordered a 4.00 chicken kabob basically somewhat raw. Got charged 6.00 for a small tazziki sauce and a mini child's ketchup. Find a better place if you have a chance. It's not impressive the goods not great and pretty brand unless you have sauce. Just be ready for them to charge you like 3.00 on condiments. Horrible experience. Good luck.....go somewhere else. Mc Donald's would be better. At least you won't get salmonella.

We ordered two gyros to-go, the cashier told us it would be a 10 minute wait. After 45 minutes of waiting and asking if the food was ready, the cashier finally checked with the kitchen and found it prepared and bagged behind the counter. Who knows how long it had been ready for. What a waste of time. In an effort to be unbiased, the food is decent for the area; good portions and well-marinated chicken. Just wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Worst food I’ve had. Decent customer service. I ordered the chicken gyro on a hero with everything on it. There was a good amount of sauce, a heavy amount of chicken gyro & toppings. While they were making it my mouth was watery because of how good it looked! I hadnt ate the whole day so I was pretty excited to try this & with the amount of food they gave I was very excited. After 10ish minutes the food was ready for consumption. I took a seat outside since the weather was so nice & windy. I sat, put my phone away & took a bite. I said to myself hmm something seems off. I took another bite from the center since all the toppings & sauce was there. But something was off again. After further investigation, nothing in the gyro had salt or any other seasonings. While it did look good from the outside, the inside didnt taste good at all!

Absolutely terrible service. I went with my friends and everyone got their food and finished while I was waiting at the counter still waiting for my food. They all ordered the same thing as me and the chef had the guts to lie and say it wasn’t ready when I saw him serve the same plate I ordered to people with a later order number than mine. Started getting into 10 order numbers after mine. The restaurant was empty and I was still standing there. If I could curse them out here I totally would. You don’t get to degrade your customers like that.

Entire order was bad quality. Food was stale and old. We tried little pieces of all the items we ordered and threw everything in garbage right after. My fiancé and I both feel sick to stomach.

I had a chicken gyro to go. It tasted good. I took out a piece of chicken of what I thought was hard cartilage but turned out to be raw chicken. See photos. Undercooked chicken is a health risk and now I can get food poisoning. Unbelievable and unacceptable.
