Opiniones de La Flor Pizzeria Brooklyn
The restaurant looked okay, a little dingy and small, but this was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Definitely try the white pizza with honey and cheese. The pepperoni and sausage was good, too. The pepperonis were crispy and savory. The pizza crust was sublime—perfectly crispy and thin. Service was good!
This is one of my favorite pizzas in New York. The pepperoni was plentiful and was actually charred to a wonderful crisp. Amazingly, the cheese remained soft, while the crust was crispy and wasn’t chewy. The aesthetic in the store is great and I’m appreciative of the price point. I’m so happy to have them in my neighborhood. No complaints here! One thing I’d add though is that the menu lists a sandwich price but not what the sandwich is. I may have missed it and did not ask what the sandwich was. I will be eating a lot of the delicious slices before I venture to the sandwich, which I assume will also be fantastic.
Great pizza and good customer service. I initially received the wrong pizza and only asked for a refund of the difference in what I ordered vs received, but they sent a fresh pie. Appreciate it!
I’m obsessed with La Flor it’s my neighborhood gem and go to pizza spot. Their pepperoni slice is my favorite- delicious sauce, cheese, and the perfect crisp. Eating here is a vibe and very comforting. Thank you La Flor!!! ❤️🍕
Really top notch pizza! We don't eat pork so can't speak to the pepperoni or proscuitto pies. However, the classic slice and tomato sauce is fresh and bright and really scratches the itch for a NY slice. Prices are reasonable. Don't sleep on the garlic knots! The inside is small with a few tables and chairs.
Came here yesterday all the way from Pelham Bay just to try it and was not disappointed. Nice crispy crust, toppings are simple but the flavors just hit perfectly. The price for a slice with pepp is $4 bucks, up where I live, a regular slice is $4-5 , toppings are an extra dollar and not even close to being as good. I only wish it was a bigger place so theres somewhere to sit other than the 2 small tables inside. My son and I try different pizza places every week and this is hands down in our top 3 and may just be our go to place from now on. I will travel 2 hours for good pizza without hesitation. Just writing this makes me want to stop and hop on the train.
mushroom veggie slice is one of the best I’ve had! all the veggies are oven roasted and have some nice crisp to them so they don’t make the whole pizza soggy, unlike a lot of veg heavy slices. delicious Also dang that tangy homemade ranch is so good. Ask for some on the side. As a midwesterner in BK I feel blessed to have a pizza spot that serves ranch near me. garlic knots are great too. kind and friendly staff. hope to come here often!
Binging with babish gave their pepperoni slice a high rating and a peculiar and slight criticism that it’s “almost too much flavor”. After trying this pizza, I would say this is particularly true of the tomato paste — it’s just too thick and sweet. Just a slight imbalance but maybe it was to balance the super salty pepperonis (which I enjoyed). Personally, I would have preferred a brighter, lighter tomato sauce. Solid neighborhood slice, would come back if I’m in Brooklyn but wouldn’t travel all the way from queens again.
WOW, this is a hidden gem of a pizza shop. My husband and I came here on a whim while craving some good NY pizza. This is a top-tier Brooklyn style pizza. We tried multiple slices, but my personal favorites were the classic cheese and the ricotta honey (husband loved the cheese and pepperoni). I didn't have high expectations for the ricotta honey, but I was blown away at how delicious it was. La Flor Pizza does an amazing job at their crust and sauce. The crust is perfectly THIN, crispy, and chewy - all the must haves of a good Brooklyn style pizza.
Great neighborhood pizza joint! The crust was perfect--nice leopard pattern on the bottom, and char on the edge. Not too cheesy, but the tomato sauce still had a bit of the canned tomato flavor. Overall, a nice variety of classic pies and pies with unique flavors. We will stop by more often. For context, we ordered the cheese pie, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and the white pie.
Random choice for some slices since we were at the Botanic garden. Great pizza! We got plain slices and garlic knots. Crispy, a little char, great flavor! The sauce has a very classic fresh tomato flavor and the mozzarella had a lot of flavor. Highly recommended! Kids loved it and I loved it! Nice people too!
This is a classic Brooklyn slice place. Ever since it opened it’s been popular. And for good reason. Excellent thin crust. Good red sauce. Nice topping combos. And great service. But if you call ahead, you can do a custom pizza - I love a ricotta/capicola/basil - for a reasonable price. Be a local. Or at least eat like one!
My boyfriend & I visited here from Atlanta, and the pizza was so GOOD! This place is such vibe! It’s so cute, with such a great and nice atmosphere! The customer service is great and the guys who helped us were really sweet & helpful! Our favorite was the White Honey pizza! The flavors were immaculate and the honey just tops it off with a nice touch to the pizza. We will definitely be back when we visit New York again. I have been thinking about that pizza since I left.
Best new pizza place in Crown Heights! Service was friendly and quick. Most importantly, the pizza was fantastic. Perfectly cooked thin crust and the ingredients are top tier. Two of us ate a whole pie and didn’t feel greasy or overstuffed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good NY slice.
There were small, clear, completely spherical plastic beads in our garlic knots. It was alarming and disconcerting. I bit into one and brought it up to the counter and asked what it was, and why it was in the garlic knots. The guy had no idea and was apologetic about it. I told my husband not to eat them, but he figured it was a fluke, so of course, he ate another one. He bit into a bead, and we realized they were in all the garlic knots. I went up to the counter again and told him, recommending that they check all the knots. The guy offered us a refund, but I think he botched it and refunded someone else's order. I didn't want to argue with him, so we just left. The garlic knots full of beads were still in the case. I was pretty freaked out by the whole thing (like how many beads did I eat before I bit into one), so I left without taking a picture. The shop is cute, but safe to say I won't be back.
