This place is the most lowkey, welcoming, positive space with tons of yummy health centered options. The service is incredibly quick and the jerk tofu patties are way too good. Blessings to this business and the community.

I stopped in here after a visit to the opthalmologist at the recommendation of the receptionist. this is not my neighborhood but I might just come back to this place. four or five different kinds of Jamaican style patties - the one I tried was fabulous. No meat or dairy in the place so it's tasty and healthy too. I also had a pint of excellent homemade vegetable soup piping hot. I am full, so no room for any of the perhaps 100 different fresh smoothies and juices. Counterman a cool guy too. even a table to sit and enjoy. What's not to like?

Surprising little gem. The prices and variety cannot be beat! I absolutely love juices and never have I been presented with so many options. I'm very indecisive so it was challenging to narrow it down, but that is always an amazing "problem" to have.

Wide assortment of unique juices and smoothie blends. I love the green lemonade and the pampanana smoothie. Great patty selection- ackee is my favorite. I really like their tonic for a mid day pick me up made from natural plants and herbs.

We loved this little spot when we visited Brooklyn. We went twice. I can’t remember the last time I had a smoothie so fresh. And I appreciate that this is a “proudly black-owned” business. The service leaves something to be desired, however.

I was wanting for a good veggie pattie and found it 2 minutes from where I was standing. The lentil pattie was great. It satisfied my craving. I'm ready to go back for another or try the ackee or jerk tofu pattie. There's a bit of a wait as they make all the juices and smoothies fresh to order. But worth the trip.

This place has excellent smoothies and patties (especially the jerk plantain one). The problem is every day I go they’re out of fruits like mangos and strawberries.. How does a smoothie shop not have mangos and strawberries on an early Saturday afternoon? The service is very hit or miss as well.

Do not go here! I live in the neighborhood and got FOOD POISONING from one their juices. Several friends have had similar experiences. They do not use the best or freshest veggies.

Do not go here because this place is not LGBTQ friendly AND THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! I went in this establishment yesterday around 4:30 PM with my best friend, both of us wanted an ackee patty. When we walked in there was a Jamaican man, with no name tag, he didn’t even look at me and my friend so he could take out orders. He only took the orders of people who came after us, and when I tried to get his attention he ignored me. Then went on to take the orders of the woman after me and everyone after her. After who minutes another worker comes in and the story doesn’t get much better. He looks at me with disgust and does the same thing that the other worker was doing. My friend goes up to him to ask for an ackee patty, he turned his back on my friend and said “There’s no more ackee patties!”. But the crazy thing is there was ackee patties cause I was lookin at them. Now as a trans femme of Caribbean descent I know when Caribbean people are genuinely too busy to help you, and when they don’t want to take your order based off of an biases that they have. Both these men ARE HOMOPHOBIC AND TRANSPHOBIC. Going as far as to whisper about us among each other. So I left after being disrespected, ignored and treated like my money isn’t as good as someone whose cisgender. Once we left the woman behind us informed us that one of the workers went into the back and brought out more patties, surprise surprise some of them were ackee patties. So he lied! He knew they had more he just didn’t want us to get it. If you took the time out to read this, save your money. This place is not it!! I’m not going back there, and I hope my LGBTQ peers do the same. Veggies Natural juice bar will be held accountable for these two horrible employees!!

Ordered a small juice which cost $7+ and was served warm on a summer day; it was pretty dissatisfying. I can't speak for the food, but if you're looking for good juice, I'd go elsewhere.

To the owner: you constantly play loud music from your shop speaker into the street (from Sunday mornings to frequently midnights), with unfortunately no regard for your local community around you. We have kindly asked you to turn down the music, you responded rudely, told us to wear noise-canceling headphones at our own homes (!), even questioned our right to live here, even though many of us have lived here much longer than you've been here. You claim your business is about caring and promoting healthy living, including mental health, but when asked to cooperate with your neighbors, you only showed disdain and mockery. Is your business bottom line really worth compromising all your values? Then why did you come to our community and start a health shop in the first place? If you can finally find it in your heart to show some empathy and keep your music at shop level. (Very concretely, just place your speaker not right by the door and/or simply point it away from the door. Not too much to ask, is it?). Let's all work together to make this community more livable for everyone -- Thank you

Unfortunately, once the topic is raised, the owner shows no understanding, claiming that it's his business and he can do what he wants. With no concern for his neighbors...that it's THEIR problem. To the owner: Please understand that we are a community and we all have to do our part to get along (including an elderly sick woman who needs her rest). We have no ill feelings towards you, the bar and want you to succeed. But please consider being a good neighbor, and lower the music so we all can live in harmony. (once you have addressed the issue, we're happy to remove this review and will be looking forward to frequent your business again)
