Opiniones de Los Bagels Eureka
Delicious bagels! Perfect clerk with just the right amount of friendliness and promptness. The “Wake the Dead” coffee was superb! (Had to take away one star on service due to lack of gloves on food preparer.)
Excellent GF bagels, tons of toppings, and fantastic coffee. It's our favorite stop every time we're in Humboldt. Consistent, quick, patient, excellent customer service.
If Los Bagels was in Boston, I’d go every week. You’re seriously awesome. And it’s not just the food. In May when power was out in Arcata they let me stay all morning and into the afternoon to get work done. Seriously a lifesaver. And nothing beats slugs with smoked salmon lox.
Honestly, I'd become a fan of all things Los Bagels before I decided to move here. Guarantee I'd stop and grab breakfast and coffee. Today, I finally live here and can walk to my favorite bagels shop. Love the energy, staff, art and food.
Delicious bagels, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.
My first 5 star review was 4 years ago, after the second time visiting the area, because the repeat experience held true to the first. And years later, and dozens of weekend trips with my wife, Los Bagels has been at least a one day stop, if not 2, 3 or more. Its that good. I am sad every time I leave, because there is no Los Bagels at home. The best when it comes to bagels we have is a chain with servicable options, but pales in comparison. I will longly look at Los Bagels website or social media hopeful I will find an announce a location in my home area. Don't get me wrong, the old growth redwoods of the area ARE majestic, awe inspiring, magical, healing, re-energizing, and wonderful to visit, but Los Bagels is my draw to the area. Every single offering of their bagels has been delicious and magical. I realize now as I write this that I'm writing a love letter to Los Bagels, but it do be like that. Simply put, if you're visiting, new to the area, or a hermit near by that never leaves your house, you owe this fantastic buisness a chance to impress you as it has me.
WOW WOW WOW. Amazing Atmosphere here, from the moment I walked in the vibe was good. I’m on a road trip all through the coast of California and needed a good pick me up bagel and coffee, after days of hiking the redwoods. When I arrived a was immediately greeted by three amazing peers. Ty so much for being amazing individuals and putting smiles on our faces not knowing what we are going through. It’s becAuse of people like y’all that America needs to unite. There are still good people around. Ty for the wonderful suggestion for the peanut butter choc chip cookie, also the Guacamole was one of the best I’ve had. Thanks again.
Great place for breakfast. Excellent coffee, great bagels with lots of topping options and a great feel.
Best Bagel shop you will find for 100's of miles... I'm 50, I know bagels... This is the best around. Very reasonable prices. Salt bagel is my favorite. But I'm old school.... haha. Go try it if you have not yet... You will not regret it.
Trying to not go everyday! Been getting breakfast bagels for the last couple of years and they never seem to fail, pretty consistent. We have tried so many different types but i only seem to have one photo. They have many options for veggies and vegans too which makes it great to be able to share this place with everyone we know:) I love their food but not too keen on their coffees - just my taste I guess. We also often indulge in the Challah bread with currants which is amazing toasted.
1st time here on an off chance as we're going around downtown to look for coffee. What a find and what a wonderful experience both with the food and the staff. They have taken the appropriate COVID-19 protective measures which is much appreciated. Apart from that the staff were jovial, friendly, accommodating, and most importantly prompt in their food delivery. The cappuccinos were definitely something unexpectedly good. The foam and the coffee were just right unlike many places which over do the milk. The bagels and the toppings for them were fresh, juicy, and delicious. I totally appreciated the ambiance and hopefully once all this craziness subsides we can actually enjoy the the really we decorated inside. The walls and the tables were festooned with artifacts and photos of friends of the place with a particular emphasis on Mexican and Jewish imagery which I found fascinating and lovely. Totally recommend.
Great bagel shop on the corner in town. Place was PACKED before, during and after our arrival. Still got our bagels quickly! Wasn’t bothered by the amount of time it took despite the number of orders coming in and going out. Got the Grampa Goren on a slug and it was great, plenty of lox, capers, onions and cream cheese. No complaints! They also let me split an additional toasted bagel so I could try the salmon spread and the jalapeño spread. Both good. Atmosphere was plenty entertaining while you waited and they sell local artists pottery and other items. Got a cup and got a free drink with it!
My 1st time here, and it was delicious! My husband and oldest son have been here when they come to town for a Marble festival, and have been waiting me to come. I did it and see what they are talking about. I had a jalapeno cheddar bagels with garlic and herb spread. It was one of the best bagels I have had. Will definitely be stopping again. My husband likes it so much we had to buy some socks!
Just get here! Great place with even better food! The Chili Cheese Knish and Cucumbin were the absolute Los Bagel experience, but so much of their menu is on visual display that it’ll be hard to choose. There’s only a picture of the Cucumbin because I murdered that Knish!
Los Bagels has such a cool, funky vibe — great music, colorful decor, and the perfect window seats for people watching. The bagels are fresh and flavorful, and the lox options are especially solid. Coffee pairs well with everything, making it an easy brunch stop. It can get a little crowded during peak hours, and seating fills up fast. Still, it’s a unique local spot that’s definitely worth checking out.
Walked into Los Bagels to grab a quick bite.....ended up staying longer than planned. their bagels were chewy in a good way, piled high with toppings (did NOT hold back), and the coffee actually hit. Place was buzzing, kinda chaotic, kinda fun. Left full and happy, and will be coming backk for suree
Wow, wow, wow…. One of the best bagels if have ever had. Went here 4 times already and will go again and again. Nice variety of bagels, even gluten free, toppings are fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable except for the guacamole. It is delicious but 8 dollars seems a bit steep. Staff is friendly and the shop is clean and nicely decorated. There are also drink options and also something to satisfy your sweet tooth. Come here, definitely!
always smells amazing, a bit pricey but so delicious. always a family favorite, go whenever we can. great place for eating scones and drinking nice hot drinks on a gloomy, and also perfect for some refreshing bagels in the summer. the art inside is gorgeous, the people are welfomung even as we watch them doing so much, and the community is forever open-hearted.
Fantastic bagel options. Very flavorful. Diameter of the bagel is a little on the smaller side. My first time drinking Kinetic Koffee. That is some delicious coffee! There were other baked goods to choose from as well. I had a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Enjoyed every single bite!
Bagels were super! I got the peanut butter, honey, cinnamon on a whole wheat rasin and it was too salty for me really over powering and not enough honey but the bagel was great. And his guac and lox was excellent, great to see a place not skimp on guacamole. Their mocha and earl gray were good too.
We ate there three times in a couple of days, not because we absolutely loved it, but because it was one of the few places that was open! (It was good, though!) The gluten-free everything bagel is really tasty. I also liked the gluten-free muffin. They had a large selection of kombuchas! The chocolate croissant and coffee were both good, according to my husband.
Great little place in the heart of Eureka. Stopped in around lunch for some bagels and coffee to go. They were out of the 2 in kinds of bagels I wanted but I was able to substitute. The Americano I had was decent. The bagels I did get were fresh and really good. The service was really good as well. I'll definitely stop by the next time I go through Eureka.
Best place for breakfast in Eureka. Loved their bagels. The place is very popular amongst locals and visitors. Due to COVID19, there is no seating inside. There are couple of tables outside for outdoor seating. You will require a mask to enter the store. The store also has social distancing in place inside the store. Now the bagels are absolutely fantastic and you should buy in dozens to enjoy on a picnic.
Passing through and stopped here for a bite. Must say these are the first real bagels I’ve had in years. They have the dense chewiness that a bagel is supposed to have. Gave four stars because the chai was thin and watery tasting.
I love Los Bagels and their bagels are definitely 5 star. I rate the food at 4 star because I feel the price is too high for the portion you get. BUT I love their "Los Guacamole" made with a jalapeño cheese bagel and that is totally worth it. It can get a little crowded, but I think that's just a downside of being so tasty. I also highly recommend the chili cheese knish, a great snack if you don't want a whole meal.
Maybe it was because of how excited I was to try them because of the local fame but their bagels were a bit underwhelming and not the classic kind of bagel-y bagel I’m used to (these felt more like supermarket bread shaped like bagels than that specific doughy texture classic bagels have) - plus a bit overpriced. Amazing coffee tho!
Good place to kick back, have friendly conversation. Bagels are very good, toppings are not skimpy. It is a bit pricey however. But, the relaxed atmosphere kind of makes up for that. Honestly a nice place to treat yourself or the family.
Stopped by to grab some breakfast for the journey to Eureka. The bagels were not as big as I thought they'd be for the price. The bagels tasted fine and the stuff inside as well. Just wish there was more to eat! Any place that takes mobile payments deserves a thumbs up! Bathroom available.
We stopped in here for a couple bagels during our walk through Old Town Eureka. We wanted to try their bagels which were supposed to be pretty good. We spent years in the New York area as bagel bakers so we are very critical of what people call a bagel. We tried one while we were in the store and it certainly made our mouth happy. They had a decent chew to them like a bagel should and didnt look or taste like a roll with a hole other bagels shops pass off as a NY bagel. Well worth the stop. Great variety of flavors and many other goodies and offerings in the store to eat. The staff was super nice and we really enjoyed talking to them. If you are visiting Eureka make this place a definite stop for a snack, breakfast or lunch.
Old tasting bagels, bag of cookies I bought said peanut butter on the outside of the bag, they were actually chocolate chip
I learned this place is in business around 40 years and their bagels were terrible. I guess they never improved their bagels which are dry like their were frozen. The place I go to in Miami was rated one of the best bagels outside of New York by Bon Apetit. Hand rolled and amazing. This place doesn’t come close. No Vegan CC at Los Bagels but they do a tofu smash spread the consistency of hummus which was barely passable. What a waste.
Good bagels, but if you want a sandwich be prepared to pay. I got the signature slug bagel ($1.50) with chive cream cheese ($7.00?!) and smoked turkey ($8.00 for probably 2oz?!) and cucumber ($1.00). With tip, nearly $20 for an average bagel sandwich. Not worth it.
Kinda mid bagels. Lacked flavor but nice staff cool atmosphere
My Cucumbin tasted fishy, never experienced this before. As someone who recently developed an allergy to seafood, i’m concerned about their level of food safety, luckily I had no reaction.
The bagels were good and so was the latte. I had a scrambagel (egg, tomato, guac) on a gf everything bagel and my husband had the lox. The prices are astronomical. We spent almost $50 on the two bagels and two small lattes. I swapped out the cheddar for cream cheese, which cost extra and is charged per side of the bagel. I would eat here again, but would probably just get a bagel with cream cheese (it really is tasty, but I recommend keeping it simple if you're on a budget. Prices are not reflected in the images on Google).
I ordered the Seafood Combo and a cup of coffee. Both were good (although slightly expensive), but I'd recommend adding something like avocado or cucumber to balance out the saltiness of 3 types of smoked and brined fish. The window bench I sat at could have used some cleaning, I spotted an ant or two scavenging crumbs on the floor as well as the table top. Only one of the employees seemed happy to be there, but I can mostly chock that up to it being a busy weekend. The aforementioned window seat is a great place for people watching. Overall my experience was alright, but I'd have to come back and try a different meal and a different day before I really recommended this place to anyone.
Honestly. It's cute inside. The people are nice. Fast service. Food is just very bland and overpriced in my opinion. I had the chorizo scram one and my partner had egg with bacon. Definitely thought very poorly of both
The bagel was bland as heck! I tried the Thai one with peanut butter and carrots and it was SO disappointing. I like that they have a good coffee selection and their service with a smile. But as far as the bagel, was SO NOT worth it. Oh and its like extra messy, not the good kind. When I got home after 15 minutes from picking it up, there was a carrot juice water puddle in my car seat that dripped through the to-go container. No-go again for me.
While Los Bagels boasts an excellent California beach town feel, the food and service was meh. The coffee thermos were empty, Mex Chocolate was watered down and didn’t have flavor, they ran out of sugar, bathrooms were dark, and our Chorizo Scram was microwaved. But… the peanut butter cookies was fire! Maybe it was an off day. 🤷♂️
They used to be great. Great food. Great people. Now most of the staff has changed, and so has their quality and pricing. Prices make no sense with how high they are and they have cut down on the toppings on your bagel as well. A lot of the people working here have no personality. They barely put any cream cheese and lox on.
Los Bagels - Eureka, CA Look, I wanted to like Los Bagels. I really did. Local joint, funky vibe, supposed community charm—check, check, and whatever. But the reality? It’s more like a crusty hipster shrine where overpriced mediocrity gets dressed up in avocado and self-importance. Let’s talk bagels. If you’re gonna name your business after 'em, they better be bangers, right? Nope. These are barely passable—dry, flat, and lacking that chewy, satisfying bite that makes a real bagel worth carb-loading for. And don’t even get me started on the toppings. A schmear shouldn’t require a second mortgage, but here it feels like you’re being charged by the syllable. Wanna add lox? Hope you're cool with paying artisan prices for subpar slices. The whole place reeks of Gen Z posch—kale vibes and moral superiority with every bite. Half the time I feel like I’m interrupting someone’s Instagram story just by ordering coffee. Speaking of which—yeah, the coffee sucks. Watery, burnt, and somehow still pretentious. It’s like a Starbucks employee had an identity crisis mid-pour. Bottom line? Los Bagels is the kind of place that makes you miss greasy diners and boiled bagels that actually knew what they were doing. If you’re after authenticity and value, keep walking. But hey, if you want to spend $15 on a "world peace" bagel with a shot of condescension—this is your spot.
Ok so let's talk about this Veggie Delight. What in the world makes someone think that you'd want an open face bagel, with an entire shredded carrot, a cup of cold mushrooms (horribly uneven btw) and tiny scallions ON EACH SIDE. This is the worst veggie style bagel I've ever seen. Also, on the wrong bagel. It's a bit magical how bad it was. I can only imagine how much worse it can get. This photo was after I dumped most of the mushrooms (that were not advertised on the menu).
Charged me $9 for a bagel with cream cheese cause it was jalapeño cream cheese. Will never go again. Super overpriced worst bagel experience I've ever had. I just wanted a simple bagel toasted with some spread it shouldn't be almost $10
I ordered 3 bagels just with Hummus and it came to $27! They charged $1.50 per bagel and $7 for Hummus per bagel. Low energy customer service. Hummus very garlic. Bagels are thicker. Have vegan options for bagels.
i hate gentrification now i’m paying seven dollars to choke on cream cheese and a stale bagel. putting that much cream cheese on a bagel doesn’t distract from the fact it’s horrible. service is poor, lines are held up by workers flirting with every other person. there isn’t enough space, it’s overcrowded and loud, children screaming and running. overwhelming in all the bad ways and underwhelming in all the bad ways.
They don’t pay attention to if it’s gluten free or not and just shoved it in a toaster with a bunch of normal bagels so now I can’t even touch the bagel so if you have celiac disease I don’t recommend unless you want poisoned
A total rip off, 2 bagels for over $40 n on one of the bagels we asked for avocado n they gave us guacamole totally digusting!!! They say support local instead how about supporting my pocket!!! This is stripping ppl from their hard earned money but never again!!! U c all the bad reviews but obviously this owner doesnt care, he doesnt have the couteousy to reply to the bad comments or fix the issues his business has!!!
Are used to love coming here all the time and every time I always give this place another chance because of the absolutely horrible service I regret going back. Are used to come in every other day I got tired of the service and I started coming back once a week then it turned into every other month. I love ordering the scram bagel, even though the egg is cooked in the microwave. Management does not take care in training for directing their staff. I sat there trying to get assistance to order and there was 3 to 4 people walking around with no clue what was going on after I spent almost $30 on one bread P St., M, a scram bagel and chocolate. Nobody notified me that my order was even ready it took me to watch the staff that they were doing nothing to ask about my bagel which they followed up with. Oh it’s been sitting over there on the counter. I am entirely over this place and they’re overpriced microwave eggs , and especially their rude staff
4.50 for a cup of coffee and 1.25 to add butter to a 1.75 bagel so the bagels are really 3.00 each. Just not worth it anymore. It's been real los bagels✌️staff is always great though
