Preguntas frecuentes sobre Panda Cafe
Opiniones de Panda Cafe Eureka
This place is run by two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They are so doting, very kind, and generous! But the food is fantastic. We recommend the honey walnut shrimp and the egg drop soup. The wonton soup has a lovely ginger flavor, and their hot tea comes perfectly steeped already!
I ordered takeout. First time here and am really impressed with the food and the owners who took my order and helped me during pickup. Very polite, kind and welcoming. Beautiful smiles which made me feel welcome. The food was excellent. We ordered sesame chicken which was cooked beautifully and very tasty. The Szechwan Tofu we ordered it without broccoli or onions and medium heat. This had a great flavor, Tofu was perfectly cooked, medium, in my option was not spicy, so I will try spicy next time. Also a 1/2 order of vegetable Egg Foo young. Eggs were done spectacularly and the veggies as well. Pork egg rolls were delicious. Definitely traditional, reminded me of my friend's mothers' she would make us. The Hot and Sour soup was good and the Egg Flower soup had such a comforting, gentle flavor. Steamed rice was cooked to perfection. They even gave us some mandarins and freshly cooked sesame balls as a thank you. We will be coming back. p.s.. For those who may not know, it is best if you order hot and sour soup, to let it cool slightly before eating. Otherwise, the vinegar which makes the sour flavor is too aromatic and pungent,. As it slightly cools that effervescent mellows as well.. Happy eating!
We recently dined at Panda Cafe and had a solid experience! The highlight was definitely the generous portions—their Mongolian beef and sliced BBQ pork were rich in flavor and great value. The ambiance is cozy and clean, with friendly service from the owners Judy and Qun—they go out of their way to chat and make you feel welcome. A dependable local gem in Eureka. Whether you're grabbing takeout or sitting in, Panda Cafe delivers big flavors, generous portions, and genuinely welcoming service. I’ll definitely be back!
What a wonderful gem! Just passing through from Canada and decided to give them a try. The food was great! Cute post and beam style eat in, popular takeout. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Definately give them a try!
Great place for Chinese food. Don’t get the name mixed up for Panda Express. This is a locally owned small shop where they make quality Chinese food and don’t charge extreme for it. After a long day of hiking, it’s time for some fattening Chinese food so we stop by. Due to the pandemic, we have to order takeout to eat back at the hotel. The older lady taking the food order was very friendly and talkative. Placed an order for eight plates of food and took about 20 minutes to receive the order and the food quality was great.
We had meals off the lunch menu. Reasonably priced for the generous amount of food they serve. My lunch of Sesame Chicken came with a crunchy spring roll, Egg Flower Soup, and rice. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. The restaurant is bright and cheerful.
We loved the egg rolls, chow mein soft noodles, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and pot stickers and loved them all.
Good food! Awesome people! But there is leaks all over the restaurant on the roof…

Very friendly staff. Food was good. Asked for extra spicy Kung pao, it was good however next time I want it x5 extra spicy.
Dine in seating definitely has dated furniture, but the service is great. The sweet lady who took our order asked us lots of clarify questions to make sure that our order satisfied our vegetarian diet. The food was tasty and the portion size left plenty of leftovers for the next evening. The fried rice and chow mein were super tasty but the dishes we ordered were a bit bland. However we just requested hot sauce to add some flavor.
The food is always good. I'm a repeat customer here. The service is very polite, plenty of seating with a friendly atmosphere. Also, bar seating if you prefer. Price is pretty average from what you'd expect from other restaurants that are similar. As stated before, the food is always good and they give you A LOT of it!! Definitely a restaurant you should try. They've been here for over 21 years. Enjoy.
Friendly staff, clean store, and the flavors were just a little different from most comparable Chinese restaurants.
We ordered for pick up and as a San Franciscan I wasn't prepared to be impressed. The food was quick. The place is spotless and the food was impressive. We ordered a variety of dishes from chow mein to veggies, prawns, chicken and beef. It was fresh and the vegetables were perfectly cooked (not over done or over saucy) If I had to do it again I would have ordered SPICY but I was with some not so spicy friends so I hit mine with some chili oil. 10/10 will be back! We were only 4 people but this could of easily fed 8-10 people!
I ordered Chinese Eggplant With Chicken, Pork Or Tofu In Black Bean And Garlic Sauce, served with white rice. The food was delicious, the service friendly and accommodating, and the price was very affordable.
Hands down best Chinese food I’ve had since moving to Eureka! Bonus points for lovely service and vegetarian potstickers! We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!! Thank you so much Judy!

The service is good. Food is ok. I had the orange chicken. The egg drop soup is good.

I had the orange chicken and my wife had the lemon shrimp with hot & sour soup. Soup had strong vinegar and white pepper taste, which isn’t bad. Had to add soy sauce to cut the taste; wife was not impressed. Lemon and orange sauce was ok. Shrimp is the typical breaded and deep fried kind. Orange chicken was ok. Nothing spectacular but it was edible.

My husband ordered the Mongolian beef and then container seemed to be more then half filled with onions (barley any meat!). We didn’t order extra onions or even want that much onion, we wanted beef. Totally not worth the $13 charged for that much onion... On the side came steamed rice, we made it very clear we didn’t want steamed rice and we wanted to pay extra to upgrade it to fried rice. They gave us both rice and charged for both smh. So much rice it went to waste. This was our first time going there. It wasn’t a good experience. Probably won’t be going back. Picture below shows container after the beef was taken out.

The lady working the front counter was very nice. But the food was not good I got just plain noodles for my daughter. They smelled like dusty cigarettes. Very disrespectful.
The server, who I think might have been the owner, was very friendly and trying really hard, but this was honestly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The food took forever to come out. The fried rice was flavorless. Maybe they put a dab of dark soy sauce in it and that was it. Rice seemed fresh instead of using older rice so texture was weird. Szechuan beef was dripping in a sweet and sour sauce and in a pool of oil, was not spicy as I requested, and many pieces were stuck together and not fried the cook must have just thrown pieces in together because he was in a rush and so there were big clumps of beef that were not even fried because it was stuck together. The orange chicken was rock hard. Literally tasted so stale and hard, not crispy at all, just hard. The silverware was dirty. I will say, the prices were very good but I would have rather paid more for edible food. This is one of the few times in my entire life the food was so bad I couldn’t eat. We paid and left and went and ate at another restaurant. I’m so disappointed.
People were friendly food was disgusting! I paid 22.00 and was definitely disappointed. I threw it away and got McDonald's
