Edit: Finally returned and had a chance to try the chicken marsela, it was amazing! Had the pleasure of having Paige serve me again, she was attentive and very friendly. Once again the restaurant seemed full of happiness and all patrons seemed to be enjoying their food and experience. Wednesday is bull night and several kids and parents were having fun. All in all a great experience. I will return and recommend. Original review: Read the reviews and after some of the negative I was h7esitant. I travel here often for work and once I am parked I want food walking distance so I can enjoy a beer. Shamious has always been the only option. The general appearance is good, exceeds expectations set by other reviewers. The food was good and freash, while I enjoyed my meal I wished I would have chosen the chicken marsela, maybe next time. I chose to sit at the bar and found service above par, on a Friday night they never let me go underserved and were very social while not ignoring other customers. Faith and Paige did an excellent job. I watched other waitresses and table service seemed spot on, everyone seemed happy. The food was fast and good quality. Reading other notes about agessive management and degrading of staff, I did not witness that and everyone seemed happy in their job. The kids were having fun with table games. Others mentioned the girls had overly suggestive clothing. Not true, The outfits are very appropriate and the girls seemed happy. Will definitely returm.
We walked in on a Sunday night around 9 pm. We came for the soft opening. We were greeted and were seated right away. The waitress took our drinks right away. The atmosphere is very nice, clean, and has a good vibe. We each ordered burgers with fries. The meat, fries, and ingredients were all fresh. It's a very big place inside; you have the game area, seating, some couches, and the bar. This place has a special touch because the owner was rounding to see how everyone was doing and checking in. We will definitely be back to watch a game and eat good food.
My new go to spot. Played air hockey while waiting for food. The portions are great. The meatball sub sandwich phenomenal. The fish and chips, taste it better than the fish and chips at other locations I used to go to. Definitely I'm going to have to hit the spot up again many times. To play the other games as well
Time Out is exactly what Eureka needed! This new local sports bar is a total win. The atmosphere is energetic but laid-back, perfect for watching the game with friends or just grabbing a drink after work. TVs are everywhere, so you’ll never miss a play no matter where you’re sitting. The food blew me away—fresh, flavorful, and way better than your average bar fare. The wings were crispy perfection, and the burgers were juicy and loaded with toppings. They’ve got a great beer selection and fun cocktails too (try their signature drink—you won’t regret it). Service was fast and friendly, and the staff made me feel right at home. You can tell they care about creating a great experience. If you’re looking for your new go-to hangout spot in Eureka, Time Out is it. Highly recommend checking it out!
Every time my friends & I have been here so far it’s been an amazing experience! For a restaurant that just opened less than a month ago they’re killing it! Food and drinks are delicious. Staff & owners are extremely attentive & kind. This place has a lot of potential. Looking forward to coming back for their next fight night and football season!

We love Time Out. We come in pretty regularly & have always had a wonderful experience. Everyone is super friendly from the wait staff to bartenders to the owner. Food & drinks are always good. Ordered the ribeye last time & was impressed with the quality of the cut. Drinks here are always delicious & keep us coming back.
I was passing through Eureka looking for a lunch spot. This place is excellent, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, has a well stocked bar, decor that fits the nature meets sports bar vibe, and service that was top notch. I ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich which came with a side of fries. I requested ranch and ketchup. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had. Generous amount of protein, great flavor, fresh ingredients, with a side of house cut fries that were well seasoned. I could tell the ranch was made in house and was both light and flavorful. The order only took about 12 minutes from the time it was placed to be packaged and ready to go. I would easily recommend this place to anyone.
The food was so good. The service was just as good. I want to come in on a fight night I bet it's a lot of fun. Will definitely come again

I debated leaving this review a couple days now. We aren’t locals so I won’t be able to pass the word along any other way. Let’s start off by saying the food was great as well as our waitress! While my husband and I were here we seen a verbal exchange between two customers and one of the servers. I believe the customers were annoyed they weren’t served as soon as they sat down. My husband and I watched as we overheard the server be chewed out for being “slow”- she was busy with another table and got to them efficiently. Entitlement was the actual issue. The rest of the time the ladies were there we noticed one of them wouldn’t stop making snide comments about the server. Name calling and such. We think the owner touched base with them and it was very similar. Lots of animosity for what was over the smallest inconvenience. On their way out one of the women approached the server again. This time cursing and yelling at her then, following, her friend with threats. These women were easily mid 50s. Too old to be acting the way they were. Point is the server held her ground VERY well. I didn’t see her stop smiling once throughout the women’s time there. Even while being stared down the whole time. Someone please pass along my message to her and let her know she offers great skills for the food industry! I was impressed. & Good job time out management for your hiring skills!
Great service, fun ambiance! Love the wings (they make their own sauces), and the chicken strips are savory and delicious. Fish and chips are local and a good portion. Can't wait to try more! They also have a mechanical bull on Wednesdays, something Humboldt doesn't have anywhere else. The girls were wearing western style clothing.. cute! Will be back!
Our server was some of the best service we have had!! The girls are all super sweet and attentive to all tables. We got the artichoke dip and it was amazing, we also got the buffalo chicken sandwich and the Hawaii burger… so delicious!!!! The owner walks around talking to customers which made us feel very welcome! Overall a great new spot and they seem to be fitting in nicely in the Humboldt county funk
Almost didn't get the chance to eat here because the server who seated us initially gave us a dirty look for asking to sit at a booth (my partner has balance issues and needs a lower table for safety), sat us far from everyone else around the corner and then stormed away and ignored us even though she only had three other tables that were all either finishing up or already done. The busser looked sympathetic as we tried to get the server's attention to no avail. After waiting over 10 minutes without her coming back or even glancing our way, we were about to leave with no service when the bartender Paige came to our rescue, coming around from her full bar to check on us and offering us drinks and food. She was knowledgable about the menu, kind, and conscientious. Our food came out pretty soon after we ordered, and Paige checked on us the perfect amount to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was OK, pretty typical sports bar feel to it, but the restaurant was very clean. Props to the busser for being prompt and thorough. I do think the music volume was excessive just because the restaurant was not nearly populated enough to need the volume up that high... it was distracting but not so loud we couldn't hear each other. The kitchen staff really know what they are doing here! It is rare that I receive a steak cooked exactly as ordered that I can eat in full; they achieved the doneness I asked for and rendered even the fat on the steak so it was soft and enjoyable instead of stringy, chewy garbage. I found the recipe questionable on the fried ravioli and their sauce, but the pieces were perfectly cooked and my partner loved the ravioli and needed it after a long day at the hospital.
This was\nOur fourth time at the restaurant, and this time there was failure. The hamburger was so dry and overcooked. And I ordered a baked potato , and it was so cold that the butter would not even melt. We told the server about it and all she said is I'll see what I can do and didn't offer replacements or anything like that and then came back with our bill at the end of our meal and said there's nothing I can do.There's no manager on duty. We asked for the manager and she called him and his name is Obi I think, He very graciously apologized and composed our meal very polite and did what any good business owner should do is make sure the customer is happy. Our server, on the other hand needs improvement. When she brings a drink refill , she didnt add any ice tea my tea and didn't offer to replace the potato or the hamburger.
The food was fantastic, well-prepared, and flavorful, making it the highlight of the visit. Menu execution exceeded expectations and delivered real value. Service was less consistent. While the waitress was polite and friendly, attentiveness was lacking, which affected the overall dining experience.
Solid spot - they seemed like a new restaurant when we went so they were figuring out the kinks. Safe bet for decent food and a reasonable price.

Great Service from Bar. Get the Flaming Yan and Shrimp Scampi. Comes with cute breadstick and fiber.

I've been there a few times. The staff is always very kind and welcoming, but not always the most efficient. It seems like they are genuinely trying though and for the most part do a great job; the staff is the main reason I go back. The food is very mediocre. It's really bizarre too, because they don't offer breakfast or brunch food really, not even during the R&B 1st Sunday thing; there were super weird things on the breakfast menu like spaghetti. The first time I ate there, I paid $8 for a small salad with mostly wilted lettuce, tomatoes, and so so salad dressing. I didn't say anything that time because I was super hungry and I don't like wasting food. I think if the food quality was better with more brekfast/brunch options, I'd go more. Even some basic breakfast food items like eggs, bacon (or in my case turkey bacon or chicken sausage), hash browns, omelettes, etc. Definitely one of the better places to watch games in the area, especially if you're not super hungry.

My family and I stopped for a bite to eat after visiting the Sequoia Park Zoo (see other review 😉) the food was mediocre at best. The service was great and the drinks were good. Good beer on tap, my husband had a whiskey mule that he enjoyed. The wings tasted like they were baked versus fried which would be fine except they had no flavor. The kids Mac n cheese was pretty good but the pasta was overcooked. The kids popcorn chicken was decent but the kids fish was not good it tasted like it was something frozen from the store. The potato skins were delicious, if you like potatoes 🥔 you cannot go wrong ordering this!! The calamari was surprisingly good I would recommend that as well.

The fish and the calamari were great. The waitresses looked great. The burger was a little dry. Unfortunately it's a poorly designed sports bar and they have bad sports bar etiquette. I ask for a game to be put on. They did it. Then after 10 minutes they turned it to a different game because someone else asked to see a game. It had over eight televisions to choose from. And there wasn't that many people. They also for some reason put decorative lamps in front of the televisions. I really don't understand that. Rather poorly designed. I might go there to eat but definitely not to watch a game.
The atmosphere is great if you're looking for a sports bar type vibe but in all honestly the food is subpar at best. The pineapple burger is horrible. The flavors do not jive, whatsoever. I also ordered sliders thinking they would be better and I got 3 tiny hamburgers with cheese and bacon. It was supposed to have sauce, but they put such a minimal amount on the bun, it's essentially dry and nonexistent. You guys really need to work on your menu. Right now, most of the local diners could do better. There's literally no effort being put into these dishes and it shows. Get creative, give out samples, see what works. Dare to be inventive.
We loved this place when we came in. All the workers were absolutely amazing and friendly. We really didn't like the food at all though. The only food that was good for us was the chicken strips. The lobster was so dry and rubbery, the steak was way over done and very thin for the price. The online photos are way better than the actual food you get. Even my 15 dollar salad was bad,it was warm when it came out and had really bad brown spots all over. Even the waitress said sorry that's just how they come out sometimes. The wings we got for our 8 year old son were gross too. I said we only wanted the regular buffalo, non of that garlic stuff because he's 8 all kids are picky. Im not even sure we got the regular buffalo because it had chunks of garlic and some other weird stuff in it. It was way to hot for him and he wouldn't eat anything else after he are just 2 of them. Our tab was over $100, please consider retraining your cooks. The only reason we ate anything was because the waitress was so sweet and I didn't want to cause an issue. Literally everything but the chicken straps were disgusting including the French fries.

Cool decor. Waitress was nice....but the food is just mediocre. Im talking Applebee's mediocre. Had the blooming onion. It was decent. But the parmesian chicken bites were like eating sawdust. My husband's Alfredo was Applebee's quality.

I want to start off by saying the service was fantastic and it’s such a bummer when a restaurant has a great staff, but the food is horrible. We ordered four different dishes and only one of them was edible. Raw burger and the fish smelled so yucky my daughter wouldnt eat it. Plus, it was gray and slimy. I am so glad she smelt it before she took a bite. The blooming onion is nothing to write home about but the wings were OK. But after seeing the burger and smelling the fish I couldn’t bring myself to finish the wings. I would never eat anything from there again. And I never leave reviews, but this was scary and my son who had a bite of his burger has been sick all day. Sorry for the crummy review but thank you for the really great service.
Typical Eureka… worst food I’ve had in a while. I was desperate and wanted a steak. Crappy vegetables, one french fry on my plate for no reason , overpriced, must be the same cook when it was a previous crappy place. Will never go there again. Service was ok, but food UNACCEPTABLE. Yuck. I just left it there.
