Qué dicen los clientes de Starbucks
This Starbucks is popular for its convenient on-campus location and generally quick service, especially in the mornings. However, long wait times after 1 PM, inconsistent drink quality (especially matcha lattes), and occasional customer service issues are recurring concerns.

This place is really nice. Especially the stuff! She was really nice. We ordered 2 sandwiches and a wrap. All of them were pretty good. We liked the environment inside too. I would go there again and recommend this place. It’s a cute place.
I love this Starbucks so much. I visit them almost every Tuesday and Thursday. Great service and employees even if it's super busy

Great place to get coffee on campus. Busiest time is around lunch, but the wait is not usually too long. This location does accept gift cards, but you cannot redeem rewards if you are a gold member.
I had a drink spill in my car after picking up an order at the Vance Jackson store. I stopped by the UTSA Starbucks and their team immediately replaced the beverage at no charge. The staff was kind, gracious, and didn’t make me feel like a bother at all. That small act of generosity turned my whole day around and earned my loyalty to Starbucks. Thank you for the great service!

Line is usallay insane but the service is great. The AM crew is quick and awesome! Anything after 1pm is going to take an insanely long time even for a simple brewed coffee, but they have less staff and it's a college campus so it's to be expected. Just make sure you plan for the wait it's not the baristas fault that people love complicated coffee orders.

I want to be clear: the people working at this campus Starbucks are polite and honest, and I understand they’re students juggling limited staffing and pay. That said, the product consistency and matcha quality have declined enough that I’m choosing to stop coming to this location — and, frankly, stop buying Starbucks matcha for now. My usual order is a hot matcha green tea latte. Over several visits the bar has repeatedly over-frothed my drink (some cups felt like 80% foam), which makes the experience unpleasant and wastes most of the cup. I also notice the matcha itself tastes flatter and less balanced than it did a few years ago. Once the espresso machine was out and the team was transparent about it; they offered a refund or a cold matcha with no ice, which I appreciated. This review isn’t meant to blame the students on shift — they were professional and tried to help — but to explain why I won’t be returning. If management wants to win customers back, a few concrete changes would help: 1. Standardize pour/frothing for hot matcha (so the cup is mostly drink, not foam). 2. Check matcha sourcing/recipe consistency — the taste has noticeably changed. 3. Improve equipment upkeep and staffing coverage during busy times so substitutions (cold drinks, no ice, etc.) aren’t the norm. I hope those changes happen — I’d happily come back if the product quality and consistency were restored

This Starbucks continues to disappoint. Mornings are chaotic and employees seem overwhelmed. Therefore, no friendly welcome or thank you from anyone. I’ve been to many Starbucks that are very busy, but they still manage to be friendly, welcoming and appreciate you visiting.
Some of these students really hate their jobs and it shows
i can empathize that employees at a coffee shop on a college campus are overwhelmed, i don’t mind that or waiting at all and try not to order anything too complicated. however, i’ve never really had any friendly or “pleasant” interactions here, have had several orders straight up not-made and not-cancelled, and told it was my fault for not canceling, incorrect orders, etc. cheer up folks! drinks and food are usually yummy. except their matcha lol

Not the best. No connection with customer upon ordering. Manager & employees can work on customer service skills.
Terrible attitude. Cashier lied to me like it was the first time I bought coffee from Starbucks. I can ask for a small quantity of milk and stevia on the side so I can add them to my preference. She lied and said it had to go in the cup.
I had an extremely disappointing experience due to the lack of professionalism and leadership displayed during my visit. I was next in line during a busy rush, and the employee at the front counter was clearly overwhelmed. She was juggling three tasks at once and repeatedly asking for help. It was obvious she needed support. A man who appeared to be the manager (he had no name tag) reluctantly came over and opened a register, stating, “I can help next in line,” which was me. When I stepped forward, he abruptly refused to take my order in a very rude tone and directed me back to the already overwhelmed employee who had been asking for assistance. There was no explanation and no reason for the behavior , I had literally been waiting patiently the entire time. To make matters worse, after I placed my order and waited for it to be prepared, he continued glaring at me in a way that felt hostile and unnecessary. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and completely unprovoked. If this individual is indeed a manager, his conduct reflects very poor leadership and customer service skills. Instead of supporting his team during a rush, he added to the stress and treated a customer disrespectfully. I left feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, and genuinely disappointed. I’ve attached an image of him.

Worst Starbucks coffee is at UTSA. My cold coffee tasted like straight up tap water. I basically paid $5 for brown water. Instead I will buy the coffee from the UTSA market place; cheaper, more caffein and better tasting. I will continue to buy Starbucks but not at UTSA.
rude staff if you hate your job so much quit
The "supervisor" was rude. I was simply explaining to an employee that my drink looked like milk and no espresso an it never looks like that. The supervisor comes and says "if its not right I made it and its correct." Then continues to go back and forth with me while I'm just explaining that I get this drink all the time and it never looks like this. This was an horrible experience and if I could rate 0 I would.
Every time I have asked for a meal trade they charge my dining dollars. I have never known that they were doing this until I checked my getmobile today and saw I have significantly less money than I should.
This Starbucks is whack! Their customer service is not up to par- the woman who took my order didn't know what was available and so it took longer to finish ordering because she had to keep checking the freezer, and they NEVER have any of the food I want in stock. It's a shift supervisors responsility to order what is needed. I was craving a chestnut praline latte and they didn't have the topping available. Then after I got my drink, I asked for water and they said it was a 25c charge. Compared to other stores, including the one I work at, none of this would ever happen. I will no longer be coming to this location.
the lady I interacted with was rude and was not friendly. She talked to her co workers and deliberately mention she would not order the coffee I ordered. I don't understand why she would say that.
These baristas suck. They are not good employees. I asked for decaf coffee and the cashier said "it will take too long to brew, do you want an americano instead?" Like really you're offering me espresso with water? I'm a barista as well and I know if I said that to a customer I would have been fired on the spot.
I'm sorry, I don't understand why you would give a customer just a glass of plain water. I've never seen a Starbucks store with employees who speak so rudely and show such disrespect towards a customer over a glass of plain water. I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for 10 years, and I never expected to be treated with such contempt today, just because I was on business and asked for a glass of water.😡
This location always messes up my order or takes at least 30 minutes to make my coffee. I wanted 45 minutes for a coffee that’s wasn’t even hot I could tell the where letting it sit and they miss ingredients that I asked for liked whipped cream. I never leave a review but the amount of times this Starbucks has made me late to class and it’s constantly. This location doesn’t let y have a refund even when they run out of stuff. I get that is college kids but u gotta work on y’all’s training. Waffle House has better employees than this location. If you wanna sit forever for your coffee come here if not just drive 5 mins up the road and there’s better coffee spots on campus.

Don't get matcha latte here, it basically looks like milk every time I get it. I even ask for extra scoops of matcha..

Probably one of the worst Starbucks you will ever go to. There was always a line. They are always slow. They don't accept Starbucks rewards. And they don't have refills on coffee like every other Starbucks has .
