Blaze Pizza in Laguna Niguel is a customizable pizza place with generally positive reviews. Customers appreciate the speed, reasonable prices, and vegan/keto options. Some complaints include burnt pizza, inconsistent toppings, and occasional long wait times.
Tip: Try adding pesto sauce to the crust for a delicious flavor boost, as suggested by employee Hawk.
This place is a great place for super good pizza! We came in when there was a huge line and people were being very rude to the staff. We got our food in great time and the staff was still super nice after getting yelled at for nothing. Awesome selection of toppings and My food was delicious and I will be back soon.
I and Phil had a mozzarella pizza with toppings u tell them your own and then you order a drink. If u want. or tea or lemonade. Then u sit with your drink and talk then they call your name u go get the pizza with the cashier . Then bring it to the table . Then eat it if it's tasty u leave a review on here. If u didn't like it then leave that on here to to tell the cooks how to better make it the next time.
It's been a while since I visited Blaze! Walked in, and it looked brighter and with an actual long tall table in the middle. This store is now a corporate one, and you can tell it's no longer a franchise, just by the Customer Service, and their options which have expanded! Very nice and welcomed change!
The pizza selection is amazing, even for my very picky kids. Several dozens of choices of toppings, all fresh and never missed despite the long list we always load.
I visit the place all the time and am always happy. This is one of those typical build your own pizza places. They have gluten free and vegan options and a good range of cheeses, sauces, meats, and veggies. As weird as it might sound, I recommend getting the arugula that is added after cooking, it always is a great addition to the pizza. There can be a bit of a wait at peak times due to the number of people there, but the employees are always efficient at moving everything through.
It's good. Convenient over the other pizza chains and tastes better. I like the thin crust or if you want a thicker crust like my gf you can ask for a high rise were they double the dough. The Oven makes quick work of it. Not a super fan of the salads. But its preference
Love Blaze’s pizza. I honestly love the choices they provide.
We order from here once or twice a month and have always had great service. Their spicy marinara sauce and vegan cheese are particularly good, though we get regular shredded mozzarella as well. On the last order, we found Dillon and Tara to be fun and interesting to talk to, as well as their making our pizzas to perfection
I love this place because both they have goat and vegan cheese and it’s very clean at blaze pizza and the food was great and the staff were nice too
This Blaze is great! Most of them are really, the company holds to a pretty high standard of quality. This one also has great people and amazing service, even when very busy. A gal by the name of Danni is the manager, but she’s also in the trenches at the counter, putting all the orders together and making sure everything is perfect (sorry if I don’t have the spelling right). They really work hard to make great food and make sure the customers are very pleased. I love this place, very grateful that it’s close by especially when you need something quick for dinner. Great job guys, thanks for being there!
My friend and I came at a good time. It wasn’t very crowded and the food came out hot, fresh, and was delicious. The restaurant was clean, the ingredients were quality, and we enjoyably had our food at the restaurant. Overall a very enjoyable experience, and it was not too expensive. We both got a whole pizza, with high-rise crust, and drinks for less than $20 each. I would highly recommend Blaze Pizza to any one of my friends who enjoy good pizza 🍕 Parking lost is easy to park in and has plenty of spots available. Restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
I love ❤️ Blaze Pizza. I typically get the build your for $12.25. I always ask for at least twice as much of everything including the sauce. Something new I added is the pesto drizzle on the crust. This pizza is like 3 serving as each slice is so full of yummy ingredients. Taste great reheated too in a toaster oven. Also love the blood orange lemonade although not as sweet as years past.
Get Cheesy With it! I’ve had lots of Blaze pizza but the service at this particular Blaze was the best, thus my 5-star rating. This kid with a name badge “Hawk” was slinging some deliciousness and making some deep secret menu suggestions to add pesto sauce to the crust. It was a great recommendation. His service with a smile was exceptional as well.
Never have a bad pizza ever again. This is a make it your own style pizza with a ton of options. You can change any sauce you want with an endless amount of toppings. You can do gluten free and a bunch of healthier options. I stick to the usual pizza with thick crust
So thankful blaze has vegan cheese! I personally get no cheese because the vegan cheese 🧀 is a little gooey on the roof of my mouth, but my boyfriend loves pizza and adds the vegan cheese so I’m so thankful that they have an option for him! They are super quick and always accurate. I’m never disappointed. Thank you!
Great customer service when ordering your custom pizza. Pizza came out nice and hot. Would come back here again.

I was originally planning to leave a 3.5 or 4-star review for Blaze Pizza, but something happened that encouraged me to change it to 5 stars. The quality of the pizzas was good for the price, although a part of the crust was slightly overcooked, and a bit more attention during baking would have helped. Still, overall, I’d say the quality was solid considering the price point. In my order, I had included a Caesar salad, which I realized was missing when I got home. I called the restaurant to let them know, and after checking my email later, I saw they had refunded part of the cost. This level of customer service truly impressed me and convinced me to add that extra star.
Best Pizza in town. They are quick to make it right in front of you. Reasonably priced. We love it! 👍👍👍👍
Love blaze! The staff is great and attentive. Food came out perfect and make sure to get the smore warmed up!

Kind of a tough call. I loved my pizza. Cooked perfectly and I loved the thin crust with just the right amount of crunch. Service could have been better. We ate our pizzas there. Overall place was not the cleanest. Gouges in the wall and wallpaper peeling off to ripped and torn bench seats. Floor could have been swept as well. Conclusion, yes, I'll go back because they make an excellent pizza.
Really friendly accommodating staff (worthy of 5 stars!), and a great clone of other economical assembly line pizza joints like MOD Pizza. However, while the pizza was good, I didn't find it quite as good as MOD. Maybe I just need to come back and try something different. Grateful for the gluten-free crust option.
I’ve loved Blaze Pizza since it first came to California. I just started taking my kids here and they love the concept, not sure if a bigger corporate change or this location but the staff really skimp on cheese, in person easy enough to address, but we door-dashed once and the kids wouldn’t eat something they love because they were scared off from the look of it with too much red sauce (we get just cheese pizza, and the default ratio of cheese to sauce is off).
Good place if you are looking for a nice pie of pizza. This isn't the most amazing pizza, but it is quick, it is fresh, and it is made to order right in front of you. It makes if for a fun experience. There is only one size (which helps them with speed of service, which is nice), so prepare a box for yourself if you are a small eater. The store is kept nice, but it is fairly loud if it gets packed. This is a family place and usually will have a lot of kids during rush times. I'm all kid friendly, but it is not the place to go if you are wanting a quieter meal. The seating is also not very private. It's a bunch of open tables (no private booths), which is also somewhat of a detractor for me. I like to have a bit more privacy than that, honestly.
Pizzas are pretty good and, given the area, moderately priced. Salads are rather small unfortunately. Soft drinks have an interesting and tasty variety. Good amount of room for seating. Be sure to specify the type of sauce and toppings prior to them starting to make your pizza as that helps keep things moving. Pizzas are freshly baked so expect to wait 2 to 3 minutes longer than a typical fast food place for your food. No outdoor seating area sadly, so leave your pets at home.
Really good pizza - the crust is better than MOD and I liked the quality of their meat toppings but some of their veggies didn't look fresh. Good drink choices made with cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. Price wasn't too high but a little more than MOD. Was very busy (Friday night)and staff was friendly. Overall - would eat here again.
Noisy venue with excellent pizza. If you are picking up your pizza, this is 5 stars. If you have kids and you are not necessarily in the mood for peaceful, also 5 stars. The interior is very spartan and loud. Ok, now that all said, the pizza is excellent. A little more than a full meal, you'll probably walk away with one or two pieces left over in your take home box. The gluten free crust is quite good and has greatly improved over the last year. Lots of options in the build your own pizza. I always leave happy.
Tasty pizza, and completely customizable. Fair price for these individual pizzas. Very noisy with kids on the early Saturday evening we were there. Friendly, helpful staff. Vegan options. Very good beverage options. Beer was available, but I did not see any wine options.
Blaze is good but this location is a major bummer due to no outdoor seating. A million tables inside but due to the pandemic, you can't dine in. Not their fault per se, but really wish the franchise owner would work with the retail center landlord and get some outdoor seating somehow.
The pizzas are always great. The employees are always friendly. They seemed understaffed. There were only a couple of people ahead of us, but it took a long time for our turn. They receive a lot of online orders. Only one person was assembling the pizzas. Another was handling the register and preparing the crusts while a 3rd person was cooking the pizzas and boxing them. All the while, a noticeably older person was off to the side doing other tasks.
Great place to take the family. The low carb keto crust options is an excellent addition to the menu. Does it taste as good as their delicious dough well no they haven't found a way to bend space time but it's a great option if you are sensitive to that and your family isn't and want to be able to enjoy a meal with everyone. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I would suggest is get a touchscreen coke machine. I know they are pricey but at least some of the customers appreciate it.
I have never been to a Blaze Pizza before and had heard that they now offer a Keto Crust (6 net carbs). I went with a build your own. The pizza was very good tasting but reason for not 5 stars was the crust was a little under cooked for my liking, I like it a bit more crisp. Not sure if it had anything to do with being a Keto friendly crust. All the pizza toppings looked fresh and tasty.I will comeback and ask to leave it in the oven a bit longer next time.Cheers!
I ordered "take two" half pizza half salad. Got the arugula and fruit salad with goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, very tasty. Pizza topped with red sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, pepperoni, salami, artichoke, fresh tomatoes and pesto drizzle on thin crust. The crust was still doughy. Next time I will request it "well done". I finished up with a s'more for dessert which was heated for 3 minutes in the bag, near the pizza oven, warm and yummy.

This was only my second time at a Blaze pizza, but the experience was unfortunately not as good as my first. I think the problem is that I came during a very busy time and perhaps they were not prepared as evidenced by a long, slow-moving line, supplies like straws, ice and bathroom toiletries not being replaced. The attitude of the guy doing the finishing touches on the pizza was very nice, but the lack of a positive attitude from everyone else was actually noticeable. Just a general poor attitude is the best way I can describe it. I have to say also that after 2 tries with different crusts, I think I'm still a Pieology loyalist...it may be my personal preference for the toppings over the noticeable "more" crust that Blaze offers. perhaps if the crust was something amazing at either place, I would appreciate that.
Came here on 10/20/24 during a a really, busy hectic time around 6pm and the staff worker named Purity was really kind and helpful! Despite being yelled at by her other co-worker or manager (it was an older woman with little hair and 2 braids) she maintained a positive attitude with us. After our long wait time of 30 mins for 2 build your own pizzas, we asked the same lady with the 2 braids for some sauces on the side and she told us, “Next time if you want sauce on the side, you can just ask for it when you’re paying up front.” My boyfriend and I felt this comment was rude and unnecessary because we didn’t know you could do that or that it was possibly the norm at this blaze. I usually ask for my sauce after I receive my pizza at other Blaze locations and have never been told something snarky like that before. I hope we have better customer service next time we come here 🤷♀️
The pizza is really good. I love the fact that you can create your own, so you can have different creations each time and the dough is great but I don't like that they call it a night at 9pm on Saturdays. You should be able to eat a bit later than that on the weekend. We came home after a long road trip to find that they were closing early. Also, one of the employees acts like he gets money taken out of his che k for every topping he puts on the pizza. The rest of them do not.
It used to be good, but every time I’ve been in recently, they are not as friendly and the tables are usually not cleaned. Old review: Blaze pizza is excellent. No doubt about it. This location in particular is a great establishment. I was greeted almost instantly after I entered with welcome and a smile. To me, that prompt, first hello makes a big difference. On top of that, the employees were very efficient and helpful. I enjoy seeing employees laughing (professionally) with each other and it seemed like they really took pride in their work. It was a great experience.
Ordered delivery. Asked for well.done and most.of the bottom was just burned. All I tasted was burned bread. I asked for tripple meat and it wasn't even enouph for regular meat. I ordered pesto and I could not taste or see pesto. Not great for sure.
Please keep the 5 for 35$ feed the family deal. Its very helpful for families on a budget. Great pizza for the price. Update: As of April 2025 it is no longer 35$ :/ They increased the price to 45$. Update I ordered the same family deal again and the pizza was burnt, there was hardly any protein on the pizza, and the delivery driver did not speak english and hung up on me when I realized my order was delivered to the wrong address and trying to ask where he left it.

I don't write reviews often, but when I do it's usually a positive review to acknowledge outstanding service and/or product. I love Blaze Pizza but this is the first time I have ever ordered from this location. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. When it was delivered it was cool, dry and the crust was burned, it was probably the worst pizza I have had. It was a complete waste of $30. I was recently hospitalized and this was my first real meal in over a week...and I still couldn't eat it. Do better guys, you just lost a customer!
Place has gone down hill. Use to love eating here but it takes forever to just put your order in when there isn't even that many people in line. Pizza is not as good as it used to be.
Been waiting in line for like 20 minutes while entire staff is helping one family place orders for like 5 pizzas. Insane waiting game at this place, definitely not returning and hope others don’t either. RIDICULOUS!
Pizza was badly burned on the bottom. This was probably the worst pizza I have ever had. Pizza was also very small. It might have been good for one person. Service was very slow. Staff missed pick-up time by around 15 minutes.
I ordered a pizza online and specially asked for Extra Chicken. And barely got any. I usually don’t write bad reviews but I'm hoping your employees pay attention to the instructions.

Me and my cousin had just been served our pizzas when the employee gave me an extremely long intense stare of intense evil eye hatred. I know this was due to intense homophobia due to my voice being not the most masculine, and that this is the mentality in the area. But it is unacceptable to go into an eatery and to experience such an intense and scary hatred. I know that man wanted to kill me.
Tell me why when you close at 10pm on Saturday PM that we arrived at 940 and your employee was locking the door. Saw us, turned around and went in and to the back so they couldn’t be contacted. We could still order in the app- what would have happened, everything was already put away inside? Either post your actual closing time or close when you say. This was 12/20, sat 9:41pm. Check your cameras, manager because your employees are going home early and costing you business. Very disappointed.
Been coming here for years, now the prices are being jacked up and to top it off they’re charging for ranch etc. This used to be the best quality pizza that was reasonably priced. The price now makes it hard not to just order delivery from other places. ***Oh just got home and my half side which is bbq chicken pizza has no BBQ sauce. NOT COMING BACK HERE!
