Reading the reviews on here and google, I was skeptical, but my experience was great. We came on a Friday around 6pm. The place is so big, so it wasn't that busy yet. We were seated immediately. I opted for half pound of crawfish and snow crab each. The half pound of snow crab is $18. It came with 1.5 clusters. It was plenty for me! I got it with a medium spice level, and if you can eat spicy, then this would just be mild. I would go up a spice level. The flavors were really good and very salty. If you're sensitive to salt, the mighty seasoning may not be the one for you. I love salt, so it was great. I like to break up the potatoes and let them sit in the sauce to soak it up while I eat the other things. It came with 2 huge potatoes! The crab legs were steamed perfectly and not overdone. I really enjoyed it. If you're a fan of good southern sweet tea, then get the tea here. It's super sweet, and idk why, but I just love drinking sweet tea when I'm eating really salty foods. Our server was good, and everything came out fairly quickly. I would definitely come back when I'm craving seafood boil!

I had the chicken tenders and fries and my daughter had a seafood boil with shrimp, crab legs and crawfish . The atmosphere was nice but what make everything great was our service. Her name is Keke! She was Goooood!!! She made sure that me and my daughter were well taken care. Dear Owner….please give Keke a promotion or raise because she definitely deserves it!

This place was recommended by a fellow Google Reviewer. It's located in the old Tia TexMex on North Shackleford Road. I guess I'm telling my age because that place has been closed for several years. We were immediately greeted and seated promptly. Our server was quick to approach and gave us their best recommendations. The ambiance was entertaining and not overly loud. We started with fried calamari as our appetizer. The dipping sauce was sweet with added spice. Very good. My husband ordered the Friday special which came with boiled lobster, shrimp, snow crab legs, corn on the cob and potatoes. I ordered the shrimp basket with Cajun fries. You need to watch the video to see how it was served. Pretty cool. He loved it. The fried shrimp were awesome. The batter was not your usual batter for it had a hint of spice. Oh my. Kudos to the person who came up with that recipe. The fries were not greasy but crisp. Great flavor as well. Definitely plan to revisit with our family.

The seafood boil was really good! I got the mix of all the seasonings and it was great. The restaurant was clean and the server was nice. It was my birthday and I got cheesecake, but that was not good. It tasted kinda freezer burnt. Other than that I we enjoyed everything. Definitely eat there for the seafood!

I’ve been to the other location, so I was expecting the same quality of food and service. The server, Jasmine, was very nice, and she took care of us. However, the food was half and half. I ordered a shrimp basket in the shrimp was cooked golden brown and tastes very good. But when he came to the catfish, that was something else. You could tell it was cooked in old grease because it was very dark and two of my friends had the same thing and we all said it had the same taste in common: SALTY!! Omg it was extremely salty as soon as you’ve been into it. Someone who has blood pressure issues would definitely be in trouble if they ate that. There was a white, older lady with glasses (who claimed she was the manager) that came and told one of my friends that she could not give her a refund and she could not pick something else off of the menu, but the only thing she could do was have the same exact thing remade. That was very sketchy to me, because any restaurant that I have gone to, if someone isn’t satisfied with what they ordered, they are typically offered either a refund or a selection of some thing else on the menu. So, when our server came back, I asked her if that was true, that my friend could only get the same exact thing remade, and she said that was not true. The lady claimed she was the manager and we didn’t get her name but I feel that was very poor customer service for the hospitality industry. To be told that you cannot have a refund for something that was not prepared to your liking is not something I would imagine anybody wants to hear. I would be very upset. If I am basically being told that my hard earned money is not going to be given back to me. One of my other friends also had to ask for her crab to be replaced because the crab she had was old and you could visibly see it. Overall, I don’t know if I would go back to this location. I went to the location on University and had no issues with the food nor service. If you do, choose to go here, please take into consideration that this particular lady is not willing to replace an item or refund you your money if it is not prepared properly and this is no fault of your own.

So disappointed! The Mighty Crab was highly recommended, but the experience fell SO short. I got the weekend special and added extra corn. The crab, shrimp, and lobster were VERY overcooked. I wasn't able to pull any meat on the crab, it was all crumbly and stuck in the shell. The lobster was rubbery and stuck to their shell, and the shrimp were nearly impossible to peel. I didn't receive the extra corn, but since the corn I did receive was absolute mush from being over cooked I didn't pursue it. We were however charged for it. The server was nice but inattentive and wasn't able to offer anything when we told her how the food was. This was an $80 lesson in never eating at The Mighty Crab.

The good and bad collide at this restaurant. The oysters on the half shell were delicious and my husbands cooked in a bag mixed grill of lobster, snow crab and pond raised shrimp was tasty, but too spicy for my taste and on the pricy side of $30. Pond raised shrimp are disgusting-most are raised in fresh water ponds and fed inadequate food, they have none of the delicate taste of wild caught shrimp. Fried oysters should not be cocooned in a batter so heavy it's hard to find the oyster-2/3ds less breading would have been much better. They use plastic silverware which is totally inadequate to break into snow crab legs and their shell crackers hardly made a dent in the crabs. The napkins are tiny and in a pop up dispenser. We probably used 20 each even with the also tiny bibs. A trip to the bathroom for hand washing was totally necessary before touching my wallet. Also, they had no vegetable choices except fried potatoes and fried onion rings. No cole slaw, green beans or anything remotely healthy. One and done for me.

My daughter found a hair in her food and the manager was rude, he tried to imply he didn't know where the hair come from like it came off my daughter head, when my daughter found the hair while eating her food, I'll never come back to this location. Food is too high to be getting poor service!

I love seafood and might crab is the best when it comes to Cajun seafood. I always get the 1lb of snow crab legs and shrimp with extra potatoes with Cajun flavor and mild. Well the other night i got home which is 40 mins away hungry ready to eat and my food was so spicy i couldnt even enjoy it. I didnt eat anything still have it bagged up in the fridge debating on what to do. Call them and let them know or throw away a $70 meal. But customer service was amazing and polite very helpful.

Food had no flavor. I ordered a pound of lemon pepper shrimp. There was 1 half a lemon in the bag. Could not taste either the lemon or pepper. Sever brought our meals out and we had to open the bags. This one first time at thus restaurant, but not at this type of restaurant. All the others opened the steaming hot bags for us. Additionally the server, didn't care that I said my food had no flavor. Nor did she offer refills on our drinks. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Me and my boyfriend came here thinking it looked good and the reviews were good. We came in and got seated immediately. Our server was nice but she barely came over to us but to take our order and bring our food. We got a pound of king crab (2 legs) is what we got and 1 pound snow crab and the add ons. We usually pay maybe $100 for a seafood boil. Those 2 legs that were supposedly a pound were $85. Excuse me! 2 legs for that price is outrageous. They got about flavors wrong as well and I will definitely not be back.

The service and food amazing, but your hostess attitude on the night of 8/3 was absolutely TERRIBLE. Completely RUDE!!! Expected us to great them and then had attitude with us. Horrible and should not be allowed to be treating people.
