Gyroville in Miami is praised for its delicious and fresh Mediterranean and Greek food, especially the gyros and baklava. Customers consistently highlight the fast and friendly service, with some employees like Edmundo, Eli, and Helen receiving special mentions. Some find the gyro portions small.
Tip: Take advantage of the happy hour special for a gyro, fries, and a drink. The build your own rice combo is big enough to share.

We enjoyed the gyro meal here. The restaurant says it is Halal. The flavor of the lamb was great. The quantity of the meat could have been more but the amount of toppings was very generous. The staff was very nice and shared the happy hour special ($10.99 for a gyro, fries and a fountain drink). The restaurant has about 10 tables and the interior could use a refresh of furniture. Other than that, we would come back again.
Very good food, fresh and tasty. Customer service is as great. Very cold inside and a great atmosphere. Bathroom was also very clean. Food was fresh and came right out fast. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.
The food and service is exceptional. Highly recommend if you are craving an amazing Gyro experience. They have a great variety of choices to choose from. And their specials are definitely worth coming in to try.
Had to get seconds. The make your own bowl was good. The gyro meat was good. Certified halal food. Lots of bowl options and sides. The price is very competitive as well. I recommend if youre in Kendall area of Moami. Things are sometimes cheaper in this area.
The menu seems to have changed, but you can still order and receive a delicious GYRO on Pita Bread! Loaded with gyro meat and all the fixings you want. We order hot & crispy fries and iced tea to compliment it. Will continue coming back to this location.
Fresh, fast, and flavorful! Gyroville in Miami is a solid spot for a quick Mediterranean bite. Their gyro platter hit the spot, and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Edmundo was amazing he literally took care of us 30 mins before closing time with a smile on his face me and my partner were extremely happy with the service provided will DEFINITELY be coming back ! The food was amazing and super tasty Edmundo deserves a raise ! Customer service was 100000%
Quick and reliable service! Good quality food and shout out to the team including ( edmundo, yany, eli) they are out of this world and make the operations possible !
Stopped here with my son after a long 3 hr dr. appointment and this just hit the spot...we couldn't even finish the fries it was so fulfilling. We both got the same thing but he got the spicy option and really liked it.
I ordered a Gyro sandwich, and it was delicious! They were very generous on the filling with lots of flavorful meat. Highly recommend.

Obsessed with this place. Food and staff is incredible. I keep coming back for more every time.
The best Gyro restaurant in the world! Make sure to stop by and get yourself some authentic Greek food like never before!
The food is always great and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend to anyone hungry for some gyros
Delicious lunch at gyroville! Excellent service and the food was fresh and ready quick! Will be coming back soon!
Great meal my wife and I enjoyed their platter
Today had craving for gyro. Came to Gyroville Kendall. Great service and food. Always fresh and tasty.
Super friendly service, awesome food, they have a closing happy hour, great deal
Eli does an excellent job; she’s genuinely nice and kind. Keep up the good work!
Clean place, the falafel tastes amazing
Great customer service from the whole team and my order came out super quick! Very happy
Great place to eat greek food. The staff is very kind and dishes are varied and delicious. It's a small place but you always find table. Highly recomended!
Went here for lunch and Amazing food, and great service from Renny I would definitely recommend 10/10
Food is amazing, everything fresh to order. Great customer service.
The gyro was absolutely perfect and excellent customer service. I was so happy to have Mother's day lunch at Gyroville in Kendall. 2 awesome employees took great care of me on my special day. We will keep coming back. Thanks!
It’s just 3 people working, running the whole place. They make a great time, make great wraps, the the gyro meat is always delicious.
Delicious food! Try the family special if you have kids! 4 gyros, 2 fries and a salad for 25 dollars! And Saturday and Sunday kids eat free with adult purchase...great for the wallet! Sweet staff, fresh food, calming atmosphere..small but quaint..will be back for sure!
First time eating here and the food was amazing. Service is excellent, good team, loved it.
Great food, friendly staff. The falafels and gyro pitas are awesome Highly recommend!
Came a bit later in the day, close to closing and Javier was very kind and courteous. This has been a go to spot for me since it opened and today it was just as good, if not better than the first time I had it. I always go for the same, traditional gyro and I must say it never lets me down. Javier spoke to me in a very welcoming demeanor as if I was a daily customer, adding to the experience and serving as confirmation that this will continue to be a go to spot for me and my son
Melanie & staff were so very welcoming today! They completely figured out my Special Order and put a HUGE smile on me & my Girls face. And you know, if shes happy then Im happy!! We both enjoyed our meals to the fullest & were extremely satisfied with everything, especially the amazing service. Thank You to the staff & I highly recommend this store for all your Halal Foods!!
Bianca and Hellen made the food and service with love! Food was done quick and was very tasty
Love this place!! Food and service as always excellent! Me and my family always come back!!👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Delicious fresh Greek food. If you are around Kendall you should definitely try Giroville. The service, done by Eli was amazing, welcoming environment and pleasant seating.
Delicious food! Amazing customer service! We WILL be returning
Other than the very cold temperature inside, this was wonderful! The bbq chicken pita w pineapple and honey-mustard taziki sauce was so good, I ate there the next night, too! Had the same thing, but in a bowl w rice and regular taziki, and it was just as good! If you're ever in Kendall, FL (just outside Homestead, FL) stop by for lunch or supper. Plenty of seating inside, plus a couple of tables outside.
Tyler provided premier customer service and accommodated me very well. My expectations were exceeded and the food was great too. 10/10 would recommend
Excellent service, fresh ingredients and clean store. Good portions and attentive staff to make sure your food is how you want. Love coming here.
Today was my first day trying gyro and it was really good, i gotta thank to the person that attended me renny, he recommended me the feta tzatziki and chickpeas for my salad, it was really good definetly worth the drive.
very good place to eat delicious and healthy! love to eat my bowls salad with chicken and definitely gotta try the baklava dessert.
Food was great, and was made very quick. I enjoyed the many menu options, and the spicy chicken was amazing!
A wonderful, not too busy place to get your perfect Gyro fix. This place just hits the spot. Everything taste so good. Can’t say a bad thing about it.
Helen was very welcoming at walk in. Friendly atmosphere and the food is fresh. Definitely will be back.
Eli and Helen were great. Delicious food and fast service
This place is great. I came in last Thursday night and ordered a gyro salad. Angelica took my order. She was patient and cordial while answering all of my questions about the menu. This was my first time and I am definitely coming back. The portion of protein was generous and flavorful. All of the vegetables were fresh and delicious. I finished the meal with their baklava- a must try. Make sure to look for it next to the register; I almost missed it and it’s not on the menu. I’m already thinking about when I will go next.
Delicious and very fresh salads. The chicken is on point. Cristian was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend
Great place! Clean place and nice staff. I come here often and have never had a problem. Kiosk order service if the line is too long.
Fresh food, great deal for Gyro hour, and good customer service. Recommend!
Absolutely delicious! Always so fresh!
The food is always amazing when I come here, and the service is very fast. I highly recommend the restaurant!
This was one of the best restaurants i have ever been to!! The fries were nice and crispy, and the red spicy sauce (i kinda forgot the name) was so good it had a burst of flavor! And the gyro burger tasted like heaven, the workers were pretty nice, and the atmosphere was very clean i recommend this to others bcuz its so good!!!
Love this place! Quick service and good food! Angelica and the lunch time crew always take great care of me (and all customers). My go to is the mixed grill, gyro sandwich or rice bowl, which includes both the gyro meat and chicken (I always get the spicy chicken)! Make sure to try the baklava too! But be careful...it’s addictive. You’ve been warned!
Really good baklava. Good grape leaves. It's hard to get good Greek food at reasonable prices. Definitely planning to come back.
I had a great experience at Gyroville, thanks in large part to Tyler. He was professional, attentive, and made sure everything with my order was just right. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work. The food was fresh and delicious, but Tyler’s excellent customer service truly made the visit memorable. Employees like him make a big difference—highly recommend!
amazing ambience, the workers are super welcoming and greet you as soon as you walk into the door, you can pay either with the tablets or cashier. Service was super quick, and the food is delicious. The best part is that it’s super affordable definitely recommend
I just want to take a moment to recognize Eli for the incredible job she does here. She’s always welcoming, attentive, and goes above and beyond. Her positive energy and genuine care truly stand out, and it’s clear she takes pride in her work.
Helen, Eli, and nayi had great service food was done fast and delicious. They always take their time and make it with love. Heavily recommend!!
my boyfriend and I love coming to this gyroville, it’s one of our favorite places to come have lunch, store is always clean and the service is always super fast. We always leave content with full bellies. The build your own rice combo is even big enough to share between two people at a great price.
First time here and great customer service. Food arrives quickly, prices are not expensive either. Nice to have a Gyro place that is halal!
I love coming here! The food is fresh and delicious, the workers that greeted and took my order (Christian and Helen), are always super nice and attentive. Definitely recommend and will always come back!

Always on point. Fresh food.
Delicious food. Good fast service. I'd have given them a five star rating, except that if you get there later in the night, they've usually run out of some food items. Plus side, they're not selling you old stale food. The food is fresh and once it's gone, its gone. Wonderful Mediterranean fast food!
The first few times I went the service and food were great. Today, it was pretty busy as it was around lunch time still. The lady starting the orders was not asking or confirming if people wanted combos so when it came time to pay she was getting angry when the customers were telling the cashier that they wanted combos. Obviously since everything is made to order, that resulted in there not being enough fries and more of a wait time. The cashier was very nice and handled the situation calmly and professionally. I understand that the workers were working under pressure but overall I feel like they all could have handled the situation better and not just the cashier. After we were done eating and heading out, the cashier rushed to the door to apologize for the experience. Food was ok.
Overall Gyroville is awesome! It was my introduction to Greek and Middle Eastern food and it was a great start. The food is very good and while it can seem a bit overwhelming to pick something at first if you've never had a Gyro, it's certainly worth it. I think the prices are a bit high, a regular Gyro goes for around 8-10 bucks if I remember correctly, but I don't think it's the end of the world. The staff are incredibly nice and resourceful, I don't know their names unfortunately but I can say that every time I've been there, every single staff member has provided me with great and fast service. P.S: If they have those chocolate chip cookies at the counter, get one! They're awesome!
Food was great. I had the classic gyro, but the amount of customization you can do is great for adventurous eaters. Clean space. I just think $14 for a drink, gyro, and fries may be too
Big fan of this place. Their food is very tasty and the self build option is a great way to edit meal. With that said the gyro I usually find a bit salty so I try to balance it out with the more neutral foods like chickpeas. Their customer service is great too and I always have a great experience.
Quick service especially since I always go on my lunch break. I think the price is very fair for all the fresh food you receive. Well balance portions. Has become the "new Burger King" for have it your way. Highly recommend for meat and veggie lovers!
The food was amazing! Great pitas! My only problem, it was lunch rush and they only have two coworkers in the entire store. This lead to a very nasty attitude among these two women. Service was pretty bad. There were no drinks, practically all the fountain drinks were out. Change your rude staff, or get more employees!
The food was quite average, don't forget to ask for extra sauce because they give a very minimal amount. The staff wasn't very friendly either, very stagnant. If they could give more on their food servings and have better service then that would help the restaurant a lot.
Mediocre to bad. The gyros looks like they were made by someone who only knows how to assemble tacos. The falafel was burnt, somehow. Luckily the portions are small, so your meal will be over quickly.
My wife just had the most ridiculous argument with a woman who claimed to be the lunch time "manager" but had no idea how to charge extra for diced onions on a Patty melt sandwich. Then told she was not allowed to add that to her sandwich, to ultimately getting charged $2.50 for an extra pita in place of the onion charge for the onions. She agreed since she was ordering a second melt the same way. Things went worse when She realized that the "manager" was going to charge her $2.50 twice to spinkle red onions on the melts for a total of $5 for a little bit of red onions. After driving from Homestead to the Kendall location just to eat here my wife ended up leaving with out anything. All of this because the "manager" was not trained to add charges for condiments or know how to deal simple situations. Losing out on a $60+ order because of poor people skills is bad management. That was only 2 orders that were going to be eaten there and she was to bring extra 3 gyro platters after for take out...as u can see in the replay the great people skills IN ALL CAPS! Also. did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person as a valid reply? The owner should be ashamed an embarrassed with his/her management. We've also been to this location numerous times and my wife orders the sandwich the same way every time and we've never had a problem before.
Today I sadly have to put down Gyroville . I went to buy my platter to go and when I saw the attendant pouring salad dressing on my to go salad and ask her and explained that by the time to get home everything will be soggy she just told me she will give me more dressing. Got home open my container salad watery as is cucumber based and all the pita bread wet . If i give it a chance in the future I will have to be specific on dressing on the side and bread in a separate bag . So sad … the chicken had no flavor and it was about 5 pm so the chicken might be left over for lunch as it was reheated and dry and on top here is a picture of the burnt falafel i got . Total charges in this unpleasant experience $27.00 . There is ways to recover service for give restaurants a second chance but i clearly express I was disappointed with the dressing on the salad and the girl didn’t even offered to change it . Good Luck maybe fresh food is just served at lunch and after that is all leftovers!
Ordered just minutes ago a platter that brings chicken, salad, rice, and pita bread. The flavors were delicious but for the price I paid, we only received about 10 small diced cubes of chicken. This just left me hungry. It does taste great but the portion size for the protein could barely feed a child.
For the record, I used to love Gyroville but the quality of the establishment is certainly not what it used to be. I ordered a Gyro and the lettuce they used was browning and did not look appetizing. I was hungry so I removed the lettuce and the meat was decent. In addition, there were fruit flies around the soda machine which is a clear indication that it hasn’t been cleaned properly. Lastly, I attempted to ask for a manager and the associate advised there was no manager there. I replied “there’s no manager currently on duty?” The girl went to the back and then came out and repeated that there was no manager to speak to. I won’t be coming back but a couple words of advice, do better.
I ordered delivery. The packaging was sloppy and the food was mid. The falafel was super burnt and the garbanzos and tomatoes had no flavor. I also ordered a size of hummus for $6.50 and received a small sauce container of it.
Food is great but the portion of the gyro is kids meal size. Dam $12 and am still hungry lol. Add more meat? A side of fries...
They ask you to order through kiosk and they serve you in paper plate and , they charge you tip automatically, it doesn’t even show that what percentage they are taking off total order

This place has the worst customer service. I used to come here all the time and allowed some bad customer service but today I had it. The employee that was helping me had such a bad attitude that I had to ask her to void my payment. She looks for the manager and the manager is missing. Calls the manager on the phone only to tell me that she cant void my credit card payment and to leave a number so she can call me back tomorrow. I said that's unacceptable. What kind of business can't void 9 dollars from a CC. Most likely the employee isn't train to void transactions but then the manager should have been there. This restaurant needs new management and new employees. I will advise rest of my team to avoid this place.
Last Tuesday Oct 19 i went to this restaurant to order for takeout i went home which is like a 20 minute drive I'm vegetarian i ordered a pita with falafel combo with veggies what they gave me was beef & lamb i took a bite of it not knowing i was sick to my stomach i had to go back to get my refund i gave them my card no one at the restaurant knew what they were doing they had me there for over an hour waiting for my refund finally after waiting for so long they gave me cash I will never go there again and I will tell everyone i know. Also I called numerous times no answer great customer service.
Food was absolutely disgusting and I vomited the moment I left the restaurant. I have a chicken gyro and it looked good but the sauces were all extremely watery and for whatever reason I felt like I needed to vomit. The guy also didn’t say a single word whoever we spoke he just pointed which was so weird. I’ll never come back man it made me so sick.
The manager at this restaurant would not cooperate with an order I placed by error. Misleading offer of buy one and get one free on Uber Eats.
Good food, but they are scammers. I ordered a salad bowl with extra chicken and they tried to insult my intelligence. I literally saw one of the ladies in the line literally shredding a chicken breast, in order to make me think that she added an extra chicken breast to the order. Please, learn from my experience and don’t pay extra for ANYTHING in this place. Also, some of them are very rude and they get desperate when you ask a question. I never leave tip for that reason.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I used to come here all the time and order a Gyro Platter with double Salad, because we don't eat carbs. I was upset the last time because they couldn't change the sauce from a Special that they had. I had to get it the way it comes in the picture no substitutions. I thought I was the paying customer. Now this time I ordered 2 Gyro Platters and asked for double salad. Now they can't do that because the computer won't let them. Wow! Talk about great customer Service! Apparently they can't deviate a Little to please a paying customer! What a joke. Don't worry I'll take my business to Miami Subs where they let me substitute. Get with the times. People are watching what they eat you should cater to their needs to keep your business alive!
I had the Gyro platter. The meat was dry and looked like leftovers from someone else's meal. My wife had the chicken pita, she could only describe the chicken as gross. I will never set foot in Gyroville again.
First, we believe in rating places when they do extremely well and have reviewed many restaurants in that manner. This is not the case with Gyroville in Kendall. I ordered a traditional pita and, when I received the order, the Ziki sauce was fermented and rancid. We were told that they could not make something new and could only replace with the same item, minus the sauce. We were informed that we could NOT pay the difference to order something else and they would NOT refund the money for the uneaten item. Getting the managed Angelina on the phone was an equally frustrating experience - she does not support her employees who kindly tried to resolve with us only to be told by her that they cannot resolve this. What self respecting restaurant and manager treats their customers like this? Very bad business, lack of common sense and business acumen on Angelina/managers part. You will lose many customers with your practices and we feel very sorry for your employees who want to do the right thing but are hindered by your poor customer service. We are very close with the health inspectors in Dade County and you should expect to have this reported accordingly. Shame on the manager who does not know how to manage her business, her employees, and most of all, her customers. UPDATE/REPLY TO THE MANAGER'S RESPONSE (BELOW) Hello, you have an interesting take on the situation with your response to our review (given the fact that you were not present in the store), you need to check your facts. The pita that my husband ordered was with HONEY TZATZIKI, not the traditional TZATZIKI - so you are correct that my husband ate his because there was nothing wrong with his (and that point should have been proven in the fact that we WE DID NOT request a refund for his meal) - you can be sure that if the HONEY TZATZIKI was fermented on his meal, it would have also been returned. As the manager/owner, if you had checked your records and your receipts, you would have known that to be true. I took ONE bite of my pita with the traditional ziki sauce and THAT was the one that was fermented. The issue was that you failed to resolve the situation with this meal and would not refund the money for the unsatisfactory meal...and the only choice your store gave was to give us the same pita I ordered without the TZATZIKI sauce. You also DID NOT allow us to order something different and PAY the difference as we suggested as a solution. There was NOTHING that was given to us FREE as you state in your reply and, as a matter of fact, you refused to refund the money for an uneaten meal (save one bite which confirmed the sauce was fermented) and relegated us to be "made whole" by accepting a re-made pita (minus the sauce) that WE ALREADY PAID FOR (please see the attached photo of the receipt for our meal FOR WHICH WE PAID - AGAIN, NOTHING WAS GIVEN TO US FREE AS YOU CLAIM! By all means, continue with your "good work" but I would direct you to review your other reviews that are public on Google where you have numerous customers also calling out the management/owner of the establishment. Your employees were professional and kind to us and they were treated the same way. We wish you well in your future endeavors and it is our hope that you strive to treat your customers better. Ironically, you have a Google review sign in front of your register rewarding customers with a free cookie if they leave a positive review. I guess you cannot handle reviews that are less than positive and use them as an opportunity to improve versus deflecting and handling your customers in a poor unprofessional way - incredible that all this was caused by poor business management for a 10 dollar meal that could easily be resolved. You are more interested in fighting with customers than doing the smart and decent thing. WE WERE NOT ASKING FOR ANYTHING FREE AND PAID FOR EVERYTHING. I hope you take care of your kitchen before someone gets sick!!!
I enjoy coming in for lunch several times a week. When I last visited I stood behind someone who I thought was waiting in line and then they rudely told me they weren’t. Then the associate behind the counter asked me what I wanted and I told her I was there to pick up my side of chicken, she then rudely told me I was in the wrong pick up area and to move out of the line because I was in the way of other people. Turns out she was too busy having a conversation with her mom, who was the person I originally thought was in line, to assist me. The entire thing came off very rude and disrespectful.
Only reason this is getting 1 star is because the food was good. We ordered through ubereats. All the drinks were missing. We called as you can see in the picture 8 times and not once did they answer. The gyros were good but the hummus was so watery it was like a sauce. Such a simple order of 3 gyros, drinks and a side of hummus (mind you the hummus came in a sauce container of how little you get) and falafels. Rather spend $60 somewhere else to be able to call and talk to someone.
So sad because I used to love this place. I ordered pick up yesterday for my dinner. Something has definitely bad. Been sick all night long! Not good and hopefully won't end up in the hospital.
I placed an order on Uber for a gyro They forgot the sauce and I called them They told me to go pick it up I told him I paid for delivery and the lady told me she could not send it no interest in providing service
Worst gyro I ever ate. They use ice cold pita, very little meat and overly loaded feta sauce. You don’t taste any flavor of gyro. Not recommended.
