Thaï Express in Cutler Bay is a hidden gem with tasty Thai food and friendly service. Many rave about the Pad Thai, Volcano Chicken, and Pho Thai. Some customers have experienced issues with order accuracy and consistency, especially with delivery.
Tip: Check availability of Kao Moo Dang before going. For crispy chicharrons, ask for the sauce on the side.

The food was delicious. The Pho Tai ramen was amazing! Took the kids here, at first I had some protests and then they tasted the food, and both 8 and 9-year-olds fell in love and told me they wanted more Thai food. The Pad King/Ginger was amazing too. My son loved the steak, he said it was some of the best steak he's had (he compares things to Benihanas and said he liked this one more). The Thai Donuts were great too, they also loved the Thai Tea. The hostess was also very kind and helpful. Everyone was very nice and it was a quiet and nice atmosphere. Great place for a first date, with excellent food and you can hear the other person. We will be coming back soon and will bring the wife for a date here. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
AMAZING! The food was perfect quality!! The Crab Rangoon were the best I've had! Had my favorite plate Pad Woon Sen with the clear noodles and perfect portion and spice for my taste. Definitely recommended in my book!
This Thai spot is delicious, at first I was hesitant because I'm new in the area but their spicy chicken wings, cashew chicken and red curry beef with the spring rolls to top it off was absolutely amazing. There's a gentleman with glasses and black hair that was knowledgeable and friendly that help me with my choices and wow that was a awesome dinner. Much appreciation u have a customer for life. GO TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL DEFINITELY ENJOY ... CHEERS TO THAI EXPRESS IN CUTLER BAY
I came here after finally checking out the blue lagoon and it did not disappoint! Such a great authentic Thai spot and the service was amazing. I got a little bit of everything with my group. The duck was outstanding but I loved the chicken cockybob it was so nice and juicy and crispy at the same time! Will be coming back for sure
By far the best Thai restaurant in Miami. This is the hidden gem of downtown Cutler Bay. The food is so tasty, the portions are large, the service is excellent. Honestly the place is so good, my girlfriend and I have been back three times in the last month! Pictured are two of their special’s.

I absolutely love this place so much. The service is great, the food is great, everything about this restaurant is great. 10000/10 definitely recommend. The chicken pad thai my personal favorite and I recommend it.
Delicious food! The Khao Soy is my favorite and my husband loves their pho. It has been a weekly craving for us after we found this gem in our neighborhood!
Don’t let the simple Decor foul you or turn you off .. I was hesitant just bc I was judging the restaurant by its simple decor .. I am soooo glad I gave this Restaurant a chance, the food is sooo fresh and authentic . Best Thai food I have had in a long time !
I think I have been missing out on the finer things in life.. I’ve only tried Thai food recently. And they certainly did not disappoint here. I recommend
Great food and atmosphere!! Was requested by Tavi and it exceeded my expectations! 10/10 and authentic :)
The service was really good, she was super friendly and gave me a bunch of sauce and explained what each one is for. The food was delicious, I am definitely coming back!
I have traveled to Thailand myself and can wholeheartedly say that this is the most authentic and incredibly tasteful Thai experience I’ve ever had
Really glad they took over this spot. I’ve been here a few times and everything has been great. I’m glad I only live a few minutes away. One of the better Thai places anywhere remotely close.
We had the volcano chicken, sautéed broccoli and chicken, pad kee mao with chicken and green curry with chicken. It was ALL delicious ! The service was friendly and efficient.
I had beef pho and red curry chicken and they were both delicious. Very friendly and quick service. Give them a try.
I ordered pad Thai and shrimp fried rice and it was hot and fresh with a big portion.
The food was so amazing I had to go back twice in 2 days customer service is also warming and nice. A great restaurant 👌
Phenomenal food… just make sure you order to go —
Ordered pad see eew and pork gyozas and it was delicious! Service was friendly and efficient.
Wonderful food! Great Thai food choice in the area.
I love the Duck Noodle soup!!!
Best Tai food in Miami, highly recommend
Best authentic Thai food in the area!!
Nice. My wife loves this place ❤️
Really good food
Delicious and fresh!
Great Food
I stopped by Thai Express by Rin and had a really pleasant experience. The place feels casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick meal. I ordered a pad thai and a curry, and both were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. Portions were generous, which was a nice bonus. The staff was friendly and made the whole visit smooth. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving tasty, comforting Thai food.
Me and my hubby come here weekly for lunch. I love everything on the menu! Some of my favorites are the BBQ Pork Noodles, Kao Moo Dang (check availability before going), Volcano Chicken, and Pad Thai. I’ve also had a couple duck dishes which were good. My husband’s favorite is Pho Thai. We also like the Thai Tea, Thai Coffee, Spring Rolls, and Pork Jerky.
Honestly one of the best places!! Hidden Jem for sure!! The food is amazing and the customer service is off the charts. The owners are beautiful people with a beautiful family. If you’re looking for a good place to eat I truly recommend!!
Tried this place for the first time today with a family member who happens to be Thai. Authentic Thai food is hard to find and Thais family is hard to please when it comes to authentic food. It better be good. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was perfect! Authentic Thai! Highly recommend. I’m so excited to have an amazing Thai restaurant in the neighborhood! Go, check them out! Small businesses are struggling right now and they need our support. You won’t be disappointed with Thai express. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Today was my first time hearing of this restaurant, and even though I was a bit hesitant, I am glad I gave them a try. For months, I’ve been craving Pho like how my Vietnamese side makes it, but I couldn’t figure out where to find any close to home. After giving their Pho Tai a try, I am definitely returning to this place as their food and service have left me very satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I may have had. I look forward to returning to this place and giving some of their other dishes a try! Another thing I would like to note is that even though someone had mistakenly picked up my order and returned it, they went out of their way to remake it. I believe the way they packaged my order was also very considerate as the broth was in a separate container, so there was no worry of the noodles being soggy or having to pick out any of the toppings I may not wanted in my food. The broth container had a plastic bag around it just in case of leaks. This was something that I appreciated, as not many restaurants care to do that sort of thing.
Extremely fairly priced food that was amazing and authentic. This food reminded me of what my late aunt used to make and I will be back next time. I’m in town. Highly recommend anything off of this menu as it all seems to have been made with love.
Hello, I am a customer here at this wonderful place, food was delicious, nice people, clean, and very consistent. 10/10 would recommend. And also there's a nice woman named Jazmine:) Best Thailand Place Ever. Healthy food, very filling.
Food was quickly and accurately prepared. Front staff were friendly and engaging. Offering suggestions and keeping a conversIon going while we waited. Pad Thai was very tasty, as well as the fried rice.
This is the 3rd Thai restaurant in this space. The number of items on their menu is really nice, it will take some time to try everything. The two take out orders I've placed (chicken Pad Gra-pao/ basil, chicken fried rice and Pad Thai) were all very good. I'm looking forward to eating my way through the rest of the menu.
This place should get more visitors. The waitress was very pleasant and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried the Basil fried rice and the Khao Soy. They knocked it out of the park with Khao soy. Would definitely visit again
If you want the best thai food you must go here.crspy duck awsome red cury shrimp very taste full drunken noodeles delightfull. Both soups perfect didnt have the wonton Spice levels perfect 5 is a 5 sweat on brow awsome. Its a must try!
First time here and I just have to say the food was absolutely amazing !!! Everything tasted so fresh. The fried rice tasted so good and authentic! Such a lowkey spot but this place definitely needs more recognition!
We have been there twice and it’s our favorite spot now. The food is delicious and they make sure you are happy with the level of heat. Excellent service.
Nice casual restaurant. Good Thai food.
Deicious Thai food! Best I've had since I left California. Friendly and eager to please staff. It is a small place but I will keep going back over and over, I strongly recommend the Pad See Eew and the curries!!! yum!
I've been a LONG TIME lover of Tani Thai in Pinecrest. The food and service has always been great. I was so excited when I saw they were opening this location as I live in Homestead. Now, the food quality is just as great as Tani. And, so is the service. I have a wheat/gluten and Peanut Allergy. Every time I call and they are SO willing to make my dishes gluten free. Today alone, my husband was told that the host's wife made the sauces by scratch for me. In one of our previous order, his wife assured me she would make each meal GF. She also let me know I couldn't do anything with seafood mix as the imitation crab had wheat. Each time, they've had my husband verified that the half/half used for the Thai teas was safe. The food is amazing... always flavorful. I appreciate them being so willing to work with my restrictions (I have legit had other restaurants say they cannot accomodate my food allergies). I have also dined in-house... and every friend we've exposed to this restaurant becomes an instant fan (we currently have friends asking when we'll go again...lol). Highly recommend all around! The garlic chicken and padwoonsen (We order with chicken and shrimp) are top tier delicious (also-you HAVE to order the Thai Tea).
Place was empty on a Friday night, but the service and food was really good. It seems most people have "To Go" orders. The spicy wings and both entrees ordered were delicious. We even had another entree to go.
We tried Pad Kee Mao and basil fried rice, loved the Pad Kee Mao. Both were very flavorful. The hosts were kind, friendly and attentive. Must visit!
This thai restaurant is a hidden gem in cutler bay area. The food is very tasty, flavorful and good portions. The dishes that I recommend are: Pork Jerky, Steam Pork Dumplings, Yum Tofu Salad, Pad Chicharron Gra-Pao, Chicken Fried Rice, Yellow Curry, Volcano Chicken and Tom Kar Gai.
This restaurant is absolutely charming and the service was excellent! My curry chicken was scrumptious, and while I don’t recall what my husband ordered, he loved his meal as well. The appetizers were fantastic, and I definitely need to go back to try the Pad Thai—I heard at least four other guests asking for it! Highly recommend enjoying a meal here!"
Long day at work, couldn’t decide what to have to have for takeout. Called them on the way home… Food was ready when I arrived. One of the best beef fried rice I’ve had.
Thai Express by Rin is a hidden gem in Cutler Bay, serving up some really tasty stuff! I've been here a few times now, and the staff is always super friendly and focused on offering great service. A couple of my favorites on the menu are their pad king, a wonderful ginger-heavy entree, along with the chive dumplings appetizer. You can choose your own spice level for the entrees, too (something pretty essential for any Thai restaurant in the States, haha). The dining area's really pretty, too!

Un poco sucio
Ordered for delivery. It wasn’t great. The larb chicken salad didn’t have any heat or lime or freshness to it. Was drenched in fish sauce. Same for the pad Thai and the pad see ew. Everything seemed to just be drenched in fish sauce as the only flavor component. Considering it was kind of pricey, I don’t think it’s worth it. The best part were the rolls. Clearly made in house. But three for nine dollars is far too steep. I won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

I ordered through uber and I believe that the price of $23 for a beef yellow curry is absurd. Very little beef and tons potato and onions. Very disappointing. The size is also very small; a pint of carbs and coconut soup basically! NEVER AGAIN and will definitely NOT recommend.

The restaurant is your average atmosphere, the chairs are padded a bit so you dont feel like your sitting on a rock. The green chicken curry is a small portion, not much for spice or flavor. The pad thai was below average, no flavor, no peanuts, what tasted like a month old green onion. Food could be much better. Service was good.
El pad Thai no es pad Thai. Es un simple fideos con soya y azúcar.
The food here is always so good, but there’s always an issue with my order in recent months. Every time I place it to go order I seem to get a certain person And the order is always in accurate whenever this person takes the order over the phone. I’m getting tired of having to call and complain and go back and get a correct order unfortunately I’m gonna have to stop eating at this restaurant. I’m so disappointed because the food is great

I was excited to try a different Thai restaurant, only to be very disappointed. The chicken pad thai was way too salty and the noodles were very chewy. There was only one person who spoke English (Tavi), and he just kept insisting that “Nobody else complained about the dish”. Tavi was not only rude, argumentative and offensive, but he also cared nothing about customer service. The woman (maybe the cook), tried to make sense of the situation, but it had gone left and we no longer felt welcome. When I requested another dish to replace the pad thai, Tavi said, “I don’t think we can do that.” In all fairness, the fried wings were hot and tasty. The spicy clear noodles were flavorful, but like I stated earlier, the portions here are small and do not match the prices. We spent over $50 and left still hungry. For the very first time in my life, I didn’t leave a tip. Not so much for the subpar food, but because the customer service was horrendous, and I am always a big tipper, always! These people need interpersonal skill and customer satisfaction training!!!…ASAP! I would do it for them FOR FREE!
I ordered this: Pad Chicharrons Gra-Pao $17.00 Crispy pork belly sauteed with basil, fresh chili, bell pepper, and garlic over rice. The chicharrons were not crispy and when I told the owner that, she argued with me and said if I wanted them crispy I have to ask for the sauce on the side. I asked her to please remake my order and put the sauce on the side. She hesitated, but she did it. This is what I got for $17 Go to ASIAN FUSION on US1 for some delicious Thai food. They are closed until April 1.
Genuinely the worst pad Thai I’ve ever tried, just tastes like plain noodles, they should feel shame. How was this even allowed to leave the kitchen?

Employees are combative and want to fight you even before you want to go into the restaurant, do not go here. I was going to go in there and eat until the girl and her boyfriend her husband Or boyfriend decided that they wanted to fight me No thank you I want to go to a friendly restaurant not this garbage
My husband and I were the only customers and it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. The entire room smelled like burnt plastic, smelled toxic that I covered my nose throughout the time we waited for the food, and the server recommended that we sit on another table (she didn't understand that the entire restaurant smelled so strong and so bad). My husband decided to have lunch there for soup. I ordered crispy duck with pineapple and baby corn (like how they're usually served in other Thai restaurants). When my food arrived, the pieces of duck were served on top of a bowl of soup. I verified with the server if that's how their crispy duck was served, and she said, "Yes" so I thought I didn't read the dish description well. I didn't have dinner the night before and skipped breakfast, so I was there very hungry. I went through that bowl so fast and didn't realize till halfway through that there were no baby corns or pineapple. I called the server who then went to talk to the cook. I told the server it was her responsibility to make sure that the food she was delivering was the one I ordered, but the manager instead, relayed what the cook told her that it was my fault that I did not check what was delivered. It turned out that the food that the cook prepared was a different dish. Long story short, we were made to pay for the food without the place making any effort to make up for the mistake. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ! 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
I have ordered from the original Tani Thai on US1 for many years while living near The Falls Mall. I know the menu of this restaurant very well. My wife and I moved to cutler bay after a few years and began ordering from this location that was not owned by “Rin” prior to the last year. It was terrible Thai food we never ordered again after the one time. Then this location to our surprise was purchased by Rin and given the same menu as the original Tani Thai. Well tonight we decided to get Thai food and we said let’s get the old hits. The usual order: wife gets chicken pad Thai, I get red curry no veggies (I know it’s weird whatever I like it lol) some garlic chicken for my son and the star of every order the Cocky Bob. Let me tell you that we paid $75 was the biggest waste of money we’ve ever spent. The curry that I ate was watery, I mean that I have tried to replicate this exact dish at home many times before ordering this tonight in an effort to mimic Tani Thai’s original curry and it was always a fail. Well this new express place made it worse than me somehow. Just straight up water and curry spice filled halfway up in a take out container, not even a full container of curry it was halfway filled. The cocky Bob in the original Tani Thai were these delicious thin and very crispy strips of bite sized chicken marinated in this sweet soy/teriyaki garlic flavored sauce…. Well this one from Express Thai was fist sized pieces of laughably “breaded” chicken (seriously should’ve been labeled grilled) soggy cocky bob in again what can only be described as watery sauce that seems to just have soy sauce in it as extra flavoring. Just disappointing. Who is running this place? I can very frankly say that my wife and I will never order from here again. $75 for this garbage. You got me this time but never again, Rin.
Çhicken pad Thai smelled like dog food. That is not a joke! My 11 yr. Old hija said "daddy this smells like dog food". I was like no it doesn't then I shrugged it again and it was soooooo nasty. I have no idea how they received 20 5 star reviews. People need to wake up and figure out good from bad food. Also the dining room was gross, but I was like this for must be good here because it's in a nice plaza. They saw me coming. One little noodle plate and a side of bite size wontons for 28 dollars. You've been warned.
You need to have someone who speaks proficient English so that orders will be correct. You’re going to lose a lot of money by not doing this. I’m done with this restaurant. And I wonder why you guys were closed for several weeks you probably have an infestation problem on top of that.
I am a resident of Cutler Bay since 1979 and have eaten at this restaurant location more times than I can count. Unfortunately, this was my last time. My husband, son and I ate at Thai express on a Friday evening and I ordered the red curry. As soon as I tasted it I knew something was wrong. Not the chicken, spice level was perfect, but the peas were mushy ( frozen peas?) and the bell peppers tasted moldy. My husband had a noodle dish with peppers but he just picked them out. I never send dishes back. I let the waitress know when she finally came to check on us. She said she would talk to the cook, but I guess his opinion was the one that mattered. She asked me if I wanted to take it home… absolutely no, and I had lost my appetite at that point so I didn’t want a replacement. Needless to say she did not take the charge of our check so I paid $17 for a bowl of rice and they have lost a long time customer.
