I absolutely love Fernando!!!! He’s always so friendly and welcoming to guest! He greets people and talks to them as if they are family! He’s a one awesome manager! In addition to all the other employees at Starbucks, they are super great as well! Keep it up guys! If I could give a 100 STARS I would!

Quick service, nice staff. Drinks are as you expect, well made and taste good. Little small for my taste, the size of the building. And bad location too, hard to get to, harder to get to drive through. But otherwise it's just fine. Update: they remodeled and now there is plenty of room inside! Much much better.

Just want to give everyone complaining about wait times a little insight: lets say there are 20 mobile orders placed at 11:15-11:35 a.m. whoever orders at 11:15 will get their drink first. This is still applicable if you come into the cafe at 11:30 and order at the counter. Just because you came into the cafe to order your drinks does not mean you are ahead of all the mobiles, deliveries, and pre-existing cafe orders. You are not any more special than every other person that placed an order. These reviews tell me that ignorance is bliss and its honestly disrespectful the way some of you treat the people who serve you, Starbucks or not. Your baristas are overworked and understaffed. Please show some empathy.

We went in on a Thursday morning to just get some drinks before shopping and have a good morning time and my girlfriend kept on her passenger princess crown and everyone working treated her so well and had such a good time. It was really nice and they were awesome.

We come here every Saturday if we can make it and they do a great job and busting their butts working hard. If you walk in the lobby you will see them all working quick to make sure the orders are in place. Good job guys and gals.!

On halloween 2022, I was having one of the worst days of my life. I was dropped off at this starbucks to wait here for a few hours while my ride came to pick me up. (My ride was coming from a few hours away.) I had tears running down my face as I ordered, and quietly asked a staff member (they had a witch hat on) if it was okay that I waited in the store for my ride. They were incredibly kind. They asked me if I needed a hug, and came around the counter to give me one. Another staff member, I believe they were the manager, came up to me as I was leaving. (They were wearing animal ears for halloween.) They gave me some very kind words, and told me that this store was always a safe place. Thank you all for your kindness. The world needs more places like this.

We stopped here on our way traveling home out of state and went through the drive-thru. We went through the line but weren’t able to order at the screen and just pulled up to the window. When we realized our mistake the barista at the window kindly took our order and we parked to wait for our order. When we went in to pick up our order and pay, a different barista gave us 2 extra of our drinks and everything for free! Super kind of them, so we gifted our 2 free drinks back to them. Everything tasted great and everyone was so pleasant.

Starbucks has always been a nice treat for myself. Their coffee is solid and the seasonal beverages are a welcome change to my normal routine. The staff is always super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Starbucks must have realized that customers weren't happy at this location and now it's much much better! I'm going to change the stars from a 1 to 5. Love this place now! Old review here (1 star) I'm not greeted " hello, "" thank you, "have a good day," 6/10 visits, the workers look annoyed constantly. The manager needs to uplift his team via team building or coaching. These workers are miserable and their attitude comes from the top. Managing by intimidation doesn't work in 2021, especially when there's a worker shortage. Saginaw has a better team emphasizing customer service, which is how a Starbucks should run.

Went in to ask for help in regards to figuring out a coupon on the app that was supposed to been there was met with amazing service from to Young individuals Ryan and Mya. Store was very clean both were were beyond courtesy and and helpful. Very pleased and we will recommend the restaurant for anyone always great service here with phenomenal employees

This location does have a super long wait in the drive through but they do a fantastic job with the orders and the staff are always kind. They really take precautions with masks and seem to care about the coffee as well as customers safety which is very rare and extremely appreciated. It is this attention to detail that makes this location worth waiting for. And if it's worth waiting that long for coffee then I can only give 5 stars. It is more than just coffee here. The people make the experience worth it. The team definitely deserves praise for being so kind and caring in spite of how busy it is. It really makes a difference.

This is the only Starbucks in Midland, MI, so far as I know. We vacation in the area from CA every year. This is a new-ish store with the updated brewed coffee system that improves availability of roasts and minimizes staff time for selling brewed coffee. Can't wait for that to come to our state. Lots of phone and drive thru orders, so walk-ins can take a little longer. Excellent service staff!

Best Starbucks in the middle of the Mitten. They have the best staff, warm and friendly, very competent, quick to get your order out. Best Iced soy mochas!! Love this place!! ❤ Updated 3/1/22: the staff has been super fastidious with service during this pandemic. They are still wearing masks, for which I am grateful. They remain cheerful, helpful and make the BEST drinks!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

This place was crazy busy. The drive through line wrapped three-quarters of the way around the building. There were lots of people inside, and lots of online pick-up orders sitting on the counter. And they still got our order done super fast! Amazing! The barista was really nice to us and our daughter.

I really appreciate every associate at this Starbucks! They work very hard! What bothers me is when the customers are so rude to the workers! Customers need to understand that the orders come from drive thru, online and in person! Just because you might be the only customer inside doesn't mean your drink will be done first.

My favorite Starbucks store ever!!! The staff here are AMAZING!!! They go above and beyond every single day I’m there. Tiffany knows not only my order but also my 2 French bulldogs’ names and always makes it a point to say hello to them! Even on the days I don’t bring them, she asks about them and even took the time to draw a special picture of both my boys on my cup this week. Fernando is also always so friendly and remembers the little things when he's at the window. My drink is always perfect, and if it’s not, they will remake it without hesitation. I cannot say enough good things about this location. They deserve 10+ ⭐️

I am from out of town and go to Starbucks a lot. I juat needed a little caffeine before watching my daughter play basketball all day. I walked in they were busy, but working hard. The gentleman at the register told me the wait time because there was only 3 of them working. I had time to wait so it was fine. I appreciate the heads up. It wasn't as long as he anticipated. There were 2 girls and a guy working on a Saturday at 2pm. They hustled and were in great moods. I love to see it. I didnt get their names but im sure you can find out who was working at this time and recognize them for their good work. And the store was clean. Always a nice thing Thanks again

This location just happens to be on my may up north. Not a local stop for me but I have been there several times. Excellent service! Entire staff seems to be motivated and happy. Drinks are at the high-end of the Starbucks standard. Thanks for the good coffee and pleasant experience.

Staff is, for the most part, always friendly. I understand it can get crazy busy at this store. Every time I have gone store is clean. I hardly if ever drink coffee but I like their Dragon Drink. It can be hit or miss when saying light ice, there are times the glass is at least half full of ice. Overall, it has been a good experience!

I’m a coffee girl. They are inconsistent. I always get the same thing and it always tastes different. For $6-$7 I’d prefer it taste as I expect. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Coffee is always on point but waiting in line for 30 mins is a bit much. I believe the staff needs a bigger location and a better system to get the drinks out faster. Staff is ALWAYS friendly but definitely way too much ice in my shaken espresso. I am going to be asking for light ice when it comes to my beverages.

My weekly must stop when I'm in Midland 👍🏻 the service is a bit slow tho compared to normal. Last time the wait was about 10-15 minutes. The person in front of me pulled out and left, so they gave me their order as well as my own. Thank you unknown person, my kids loved the pumpkin muffin you ordered!

I just was on the road and had needed a coffee, so I popped in here dodging the Wildfire smoke. They were super busy and managed to get me my coffee and pastry, and I was on my way. seemed to be efficient, and everything is as it should be at a Starbucks.

Food and drinks come out great and staff always has a good attitude. Unfortunately the reviews about long wait times are accurate from when I've ordered in the last couple of months. Last time that I ordered ahead I took my time, arrived a few minutes late, and waited over 5 more minutes before asking if my drink was in progress. My order was about 5 tickets down the stack and I was told wait times are over 20 minutes (and it had already been over 20 minutes since I ordered). She apologized and offered to cancel my order for a refund, which I did. I think online ordering needs to be turned off when wait times are over 15 minutes or the app should reflect a more accurate time estimate.

I gave 3 stars due to the 35 minute wait. I think another location close by would reduce the wait and give the ability to serve everyone. I was unable to wait the 35 minutes so I didn't get my Starbucks coffee I was craving. I went back an hour and a half later and the wait was even longer.

I often stop by this location to buy my coffee and croissants on my way to work. Unfortunately this is the second time I ordered croissants and ask for toasted to make sure are warm but they gave me it cold inside so no matter if I ask extra warm or toasted they gave me warm outside but cold inside so I am not sure if they don’t care or it depends on the barista.

Sorry but I can't give 5 ⭐'s because I never got what was promised. At the time Starbucks had the offer of a free Tall hot or cold Coffee but since I was in with my mom I asked if she can have the same deal a free Tall hot Coffee and the lady said yes but we received two small coffees small is not the same as tall or Large also known as...so since was blatantly given nothing I ordered but made it as if it was I must give only 3 ⭐'s.

I'm getting tired of spending around $15 for a cup of coffee and a breakfast food. And the coffee is very acidic. And well, just not going there for now. The people at Starbucks are always amazing. But, the coffee is getting old, and way too expensive. And lately there have been more and more yucky bathrooms, as is the case with this one. Yea, just over Starbucks. 🤷‍♀️

Only reviewing the drink I have previously been buying several times a week. Your chai tea lattes are getting weak in flavor. They aren't the drink that once made me want more. They are already costly enough that I don't feel I want to add extra shots of the flavoring but they taste like hot milk.

We came here for my husband's free birthday drink and they were closing up but didn't tell anyone they were closing. There were no business hours posted anywhere. And instead of everyone making drinks to get people out of the store, 2 people were making drinks and the other 4 we're cleaning and breaking down the cold bar. Take care of your customers first. The faster they would have been out, the faster the workers would have cleaned up and been out.

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, I’ve had good experiences here before that’s why I keep coming back. But lately, I’ll order on the app, it says 10 minutes. I arrive after 10 minutes and the order is not ready. If it’s busy of course I can wait a few minutes. But when you have to wait another 20 minutes for a single black coffee it seems excessive. This is the second time this month I’ve had to leave without my order after an excessive wait. Even after ordering online and giving ample time to make the drink. I understand sometimes it gets busy, but there are times you will only see 2 drinks come out in 10 minutes and it’s disheartening.

Waited a good amount of time for mediocre coffee while listening to employees complain about the orders they have to make. When I finally did get my cup, they couldn't fill my espresso cup to the top with oatmilk like I requested. Will not be returning to any Starbucks with their overpriced coffee.

I have ordered from this Starbucks many times, it never fails that you’re waiting at least 20-30 for a drink even if you order ahead. The service is so incredibly slow.

Only saving grace of this Starbucks is the brand itself and typical food selection/atmosphere. I have mobile ordered many times from my workplace nearby, so luckily I can be patient about orders before wasting time standing around in store, but this location has extremely high wait times. On all but two occasions in the past year, I waited 30-40+ minutes for one or two drinks. I haven't even experienced that at busier Metro Detroit locations. On one occasion, I ordered a lunch sandwich that was ready within 10 minutes. Therefore, I arrived within the time that the app stated. Upon arrival, I waited another 35 minutes for one iced tea before cancelling my drink order to get back to work. The employees are nice enough, but not very accommodating to those standing around in-store looking at drinks sit around without anyone there to pick them up. I recommend supporting local coffee places if you're in a hurry for a drink as they almost always have been faster in my experiences.

This place needs to get their act together. I travel all over the country and I have never in my life. Waited 30 minutes for a mobile order. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is a daily reoccurring issue, and nobody seems to care about making it better.

Rarely make reviews of chains, since most are simply average and standard to corporate norms, but this Starbucks location needs help. There have been four total instances in which I have waited 30-40+ minutes within the past few months for one drink. One. Never have experienced wait times be so long, consistently, at any other Starbucks. Maybe it is bad luck, but regardless it is extreme. One order I placed in Bay City. Waited an extra 15 minutes after arriving. Today was BOGO day, they were swamped, but a nearly 45 minutes wait time made me have to cancel the order. That said, the employees there are doing their best and stay as friendly as possible. I’d recommend supporting local coffee shops or stopping somewhere else if you’re in a hurry. Again, unsure if I’ve just had bad luck, but getting a coffee should not delay your entire day.

OMG! I know it’s the only store in town, but there is a gentleman named Griffin who is the rudest barista I have ever met! I just checked the status of my order and his answer was the app tells you the time go check it. This is not the level of service we expect from Starbucks. Try and avoid if possible drive an extra 10 minutes if you can avoid this one!

had our drink remade, we went inside to change our drink because it was simply just not made right both times. the barista i spoke to was extremely disrespectful. we have been waiting for our drink for 32 minutes after we paid. i went up to remind the barista and she told us off and said she hasn’t even “took the sticker off” her name is Sadie. she got frustrated at us because she had to “remake the drink 3 times” simply not true we had her remake it once. disappointing experience, never had something like this happen before.

I waited 35 minutes for my single latte. To top it off, several people who ordered after me got their order first. It was a busy day, I get it, but there were no apologies. There needs to be a systemic change in the operation behind the counter. The team was working hard, but it’s unacceptable to have to wait over a half hour for a drink. Only ever had issues with this location. Whether they’re busy or slow. In store, and online orders. I’ll order, they make guests orders that ordered after me, before mine. Then when mine is finally done, they set it off to the side, instead of the pickup area. With online orders, I’m purposely late to pick it up anymore, because they never have it done. Even with being late, it’s still not done. A few times with multiple item orders I receive one item, waiting on a second one, and majority of the time I get asked, very snarkily what I’m still there for. Honestly, whether it’s busy or slow, the service sucks. I’m going to the Barnes and Noble cafe instead from now on. Same coffee. Better service.

You’d think with at least four employees in the front drinks would be pumping out of this location. However the only thing you’ll get is to watch 4 people stand around and not make any drinks. Over five minutes goes by before they start making your order when you can see them through the window. Zero stars is more accurate for this experience.

Normally have good service at this location. Today, not so much. On our way to an appointment and stopped for a coffee. Made both of our drinks incorrectly, and this was after we waited 20 minutes for them to even start preparing our drinks. All workers were people whom we had never seen before - and we frequent this location. Needless to say we are arriving late at our destination.

Bleached blonde young man that worked at location was complaining the whole 30 minutes I was in the Store. Don't like your job please go work somewhere else and don't obviously irritate your team! Follow up 6 months later. Enjoy the sad canned response you get from the "Owner" As a business owner myself I take each individual complaint and rectify it. Just not a copy and paste message. Ordered again to see if changed. Ordered 1 simple drink took 51 minutes via app. Yet I counted 37 cars go through the drive thru and order and get their drink quickly. 11 other groups waited just as long inside store and were just as unhappy. Need to change your ways or as you can see the bad reviews continue to accumulate. Are you really happy with such low scores? [??the "OWNER"]

Terrible. Went there months ago and ordered inside and waited almost a half hour for two drinks while everyone else who ordered online got served. Tried again last week and the exact same thing happened. If you can't serve people that order inside in a timely manner it shouldn't be an option. Won't be going back give your money to smaller coffee shops they do better anyway.

Why when we get here does it take an additional 10 mins when I put in a mobile order and already waited 20 mins! Any other Starbucks around here I never have this issue but at the midland one. Not to mention I’m paying almost $20 for 2 drinks and shouldn’t have to deal with this crap.

Every time I come here very very long unacceptable wait times for Door Dashers!!! 115 pm on Wednesday may 8th, one girl out of 5 working was the only one filling orders!!! Why?!?! Dashers beware very long wait times!!! And this was AFTER the lunch rush, so no excuses!!!!!

Do NOT come here if you want to be out in less than 30 minutes. I have been here 4 times in the past 8 months, and I'm not sure the exact time it took the first visit, but it was so long for ONE DRINK, a small chai tea that I PREORDERED 25 minutes in advance, that I ended up timing it each visit after. First visit was 27 mins, second visit was 38 mins, and today it was 31 mins. This is all drive thru except the first time was in store. Today I got the TANGO PASSION TEA- DO NOT GET IT!!!!!!! IT IS AN EXACT REPLICA OF ANY OLD HIBISCUS TEA AT WALMART!!!! I WILL BET YOU MY ENTIRE LIFE SAVINGS THAT IF YOU COMPARE IT TO ANY HIBISCUS TEA ANYWHERE IT WILL BE THE EXACT SAME!!!!

Not sure what the deal is with this place. I’ve came in and ordered egg bites many times, each time they allow me to take them cold in the unopened package. I live 3 hours from a Starbucks and like to take some with me to enjoy at a later date. Tonight a rude barista refused to accommodate my request. I don’t have an issue with being told it’s against policy, I have an issue with it being inconsistent. One barista will sell them, the other won’t.

Placed a mobile order with a pickup time listed for noon (11 min from ordering). Drove there, went inside, and was surrounded by a lot of disgruntled people waiting for drinks. At 12:20, still no drink. They were filling all the drive through orders and telling anyone ordering and paying inside that there would be at least a 45 min wait. I finally gave up, had them retrieve my queued order (which took a while) and refund my money. Why allow mobile ordering when you can’t accommodate that amount of work???? Total waste of almost an hour of time from ordering to leaving the store. By the way, parking lot not full, drive through about half full and only two people ordered in person during my wait indoors.

No one should have to wait 40 minutes for one drink. I didn’t even get my drink because there were still several people ahead of me and I could not wait any longer. I understand being busy but it was taking a minimum of 15 minutes between every single order that I saw. I saw multiple customers return to the counter to ask about their wait time as well. So the employees were well aware of the wait. If you know the wait time is going to be that long, the right thing to do is give your customers a heads up before letting them pay.

I don’t usually post bad reviews, but felt like the issue would be blown off by the “supervisor” I spoke to on the phone. The staff is usually amazing, but today, at around 3:40 pm, the 5 people behind the counter (only one other customer in the store) were so busy with an ‘employee only’ conversation over their headphones that they didn’t even acknowledge that I was there for nearly 5 minutes. I had grabbed my mobile order (which was great) and was just hoping for a little pup cup, so I gave up, cancelled the tip on the spot, and left. If they had been busy, I get it, but couldn’t believe that 5 staff members ignored my existence. Disappointed pups got a treat when we got home.

Waiting 45 plus minutes for a single drink is a bit ridiculous. I’m not joking when I say I ordered at 10:28 and did not have my drink until 11: 09. This continues to happen every time I come to this location. They only have one barista making all of the drinks for people ordering in store. Multiple workers in the back not assisting. Many people in the lobby discussing how they have been waiting for over 30 minutes. I will say, the barista Rae was absolutely working her butt off. She made drink after drink!! It didn’t seem like anyone was helping her out. Frustrating.

My least favorite Starbucks to go to by far!! Horrible wait time Every time !! Waited 20mins for one drink (no, it was not a drive-through order) drinks are inconsistent and employees are entitled and snooty!! Starbucks will continue to get my money, but it will not be this location

Door locked and sign on the door said closed due to power outage. There was no power outage. All other businesses were open. 3 employees on the clock playing games!

Ya wanna wait for an hr? Maybe 2?? Dont have anywhere to be? You want to be craving your favorite coffee drink and needing to get to work on time? DONT COME HERE it's hard for me to give a bad review bc I love Starbucks products. Love the food. But the service is absolutely terrible. Sure everyone is friendly. But when I need a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on my way to work I don't want to have to wait 40 mins. LITERALLY. this isn't a exaggeration. It's a super inconvenience. Either hire more staff. Or schedule differently. Y'all can't even get boycotted bc you are the only Starbucks. So it's a not fair situation all the way around. Do better. Also...did you take away order ahead?

I got there and there was only 5 people ahead of me waiting on their drinks so I was able to order immediately. It took over an hour. Yes, that is correct, OVER an hour to get my drink because they were all working on the drive thru and online orders above those who drove there and walked in. The hot chocolate I got tasted like warm milk. They forgot to put the chocolate in it. I just threw it out. Will never go back.

I rarely write reviews, but after waiting for over 30 minutes for my drink, here we are. I appreciate those that work here and all were friendly. The issue, as I saw from previous reviews, has occurred in the past. The focus was on the drive thru, rather than those inside. As this is a continous problem, I would suggest looking into a process improvement project to work towards fixing this issue.

Wait time its ridiculous for ordering in store. Never seen 7 people can't get double espresso in 20 minutes. Its impossible. Tall girl its beyond rude. Told me that I can take refund. So many other coffee shops around so don't give them business

Went to go order a few waters with strawberries and coffees he stopped me at the waters and told me he has to charge me for tea. $5 each. I asked for without the strawberry’s and he said he can not. No water for me :(

The staff is always friendly, but the wait time has been consistently long. Even when ordering ahead and arriving at the estimated pickup time, I’ve still waited 30–40 minutes for my drink. I love the convenience of mobile ordering, so I hope timing accuracy can improve.

I stood there and waited almost a half an hour for a little tiny tiny coffee got two croissants way before so they were cold watched about 20 to 25 cars go through drive-thru and get their orders and three or four people that came in after me get their orders before I did absolutely ridiculous

If I could do a 0 star I would. Slowest drive thru ever. I waited almost 35-40 minutes for one coffee. But after experiencing what I did, it might have something to do with it. I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks over the years and I do understand they get busy. What I DONT understand, is how it’s acceptable to have a full blown conversations with people in the drive thru. You’re legit holding up your drive thru line. It’s called multi tasking, talking and working at the same time. You can visit with people you know or just customers in general but when it starts to affect how long people are waiting-then that becomes a problem. Don’t you have some sort of timer expectation? I’ve read the manager here is terrible to deal with, maybe Starbucks or if this is ran by a franchise, they should have a chat with their employees and really look into those numbers. For this reason, I won’t be returning. I had that time yesterday but generally I don’t feel most people have 35-40 minutes to wait on a coffee 🤷‍♀️ there’s Biggby and even small businesses in the area I would rather give my business to.

We stopped in on our drive back south and purposely came in to beat the LONG drive thru line. No one else ordering inside and we waited 15 mins for one iced coffee. Won’t ever stop here again 🫤 when we inquired, oh you have drinks still ahead of you

Stopped on our way up north just to grab a cup of coffee. Waited 40 minutes for a flat white and a chai tea. If we had been told the way, it would be that long when we got there, we would’ve left and gone somewhere else. No cup of coffee is worth a 40 minute delay on your vacation.

Absolutely awful service by specific staff. Claimed she made a drink that she never did and when finally making she did so incorrectly. While in there, for 40 minutes waiting, I got to witness this same staff member do it to several other customers as well. I’ve never had a bad experience here before and it was extremely disappointing and disheartening to see one staff member ruin the experience for several.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. I'm very disappointed in the staff that run this establishment. I experience selfishness, disrespect, and straight up greed during the bear cup incident today. The staff here think it's ok to take merchandise out of a patrons hand and take it for their own use. Very disappointed, none of my family or friends will be back ever. I would say do better but this seems to be a group full of hypocrites.

If I could give less than one star I would!!! Fernando Rojas the manager was so rude!!! My wife ordered 1 pumpkin cold brew and it took over 20 minutes! Other people came in after we did and ordered more elaborate drinks and they walked out 10 minutes before we did but he acted like he knew them and gave them preferential treatment. I called the district manager Stephen Orsini and he never even responded! Stay away from this location And I will be contacting their corporate officers as well

It will always bother me to see other orders come up for customers who ordered after me. Suddenly I was the only one waiting for an order. I asked about it, and the barrister said that she had not pulled my order yet. Everyone was serviced before me. I got a credit from my order. I wanted our coffees, by I don’t like being treated like crap. At the very least, someone could have apologized. But I think they are trained to not apologize. Starbucks doesn’t have to apologize, maybe. I love their coffee, but today, I hate their service.
