Came here to support my friend's debut as a dancer and did not feel welcome. I get it. Only woman at a gay bear bar so I probably looked lost. Wasn't planning on staying long, but ended up leaving way earlier than intended after not having a good time. Bathrooms are cramped and not clean. I tried to change next to a toilet full of frothy piss. I lost $20 and no one was helpful. No cameras to check where I could've dropped it and "security" is a straight man that bothers women. Got a $10 amaretto sour that was watered down and made me throw up all my contents. At least the bartender was polite. People need a space they can go to and feel safe. I thought this place was for all queers. That doesn't seem to be the case here. It is what it is. Plenty of other queer bars in nyc so there's something for everyone no matter where you go. People's experiences will be different. Some will have a good experience. I didn't. Cheers. Edit Response: Your girl got food poisoning! Cracked the code! Your bathrooms are still gross, some doors don't lock, and I lost $20! I was still more than happy to show up for your themed night in support of my friend! Happy New Year! :D

Pretentious bartender. Wow, visiting with my partner, we weren't acknowledged, bartender walked right by. Finally he comes up, we say hello, order a beer and then again wow, I've never seen anyone since my baby sister roll their eyes so many in less than the 3 minutes we interacted. I have friends in the service industry so morally I felt obligated to tip, but man, I've never questioned whether or not I should so strongly. Worst first impression and hopefully my last. 2 stars because they have a decent outside sitting area. Lol Check out nowhere, not far down the road and friendly bar staff to boot!

The young bartender was rude both times I’ve been there, and I’m not giving it a third chance. This bar used to be a cool place to spend time. Now, it’s hostile territory. 👎🏾👎🏾

This place cannot be called a gay bar anymore. They let in way too many women that it’s not fun. Women have taken over this gay space and ruined it.

Two days ago, one of your rude and sassy waiters provided a terrible experience. Not only did he take away our waters and drinks right after I told him not to, but he also made culturally insensitive remarks. Overall, despite the okay music, ambience, and drinks, the attitude of that waiter was the last straw. I will never come back here.

Loved the venue and location but the DJ was actively hostile. I requested a song and he insinuated that we were “aggressive” because we requested a song.. total arrogance when your bar is struggling and we were just here to have a good time

If possible I wanna give 0 star I was calling the phone number listed on an open mic website and I wanted to invite my friends over to the bar to see the open mics. The person picked up the phone was extremely rude, maybe he thinks I’m not gonna be a customer? I asked about their open mic situation, he first answered me super fast hard to hear through the phone. So I asked again he said no idea, don’t know the time and don’t know if there’s going to be a comedy open mic, he doesn’t know anything and extremely rude. So i asked, you worked there and you don’t know if there’s going to be an open mic? He screamed, excuse me. So I repeated again not raising my voice because it’s a legit question and I feel disrespected by him. Then he said no I don’t know. So I asked who should I contact, he said the comedy organizer. Then I asked who is the organizer, anyway contacts I can do? He said, No I don’t know. The conversation is over. Then he HUNG UP on me. I feel extremely disrespected and he shouldn’t be working there anymore unless he’s the owner?? I’m a comics and I would never recommend here to any of my friends in town. Terrible service.

This place isn’t what it used to be and last night the bartender was awful not only did he have a bad attitude, he gave us the impression that he didn’t want to be there. My friend and I ordered two ciders and asked for a squirt of bitters in it. You would have thought I asked for something completely outrageous. My friend and I decided to stay for a second beer each and this time the bartender charged me a dollar more for each beer because of a squirt of bitters. Rather than get into with him, we decided never to return. I don’t need to get attitude from a bartender when I am supporting their business and I also don’t need to be swindled for a squirt of bitters. I’ll take my business elsewhere where the staff isn’t so bitter.

Awful, aloof bartender. Hard pass. Don’t waste your tips. Also, nothing remotely worth it about the ambiance or the patrons. Not quite as gross as the bartender wearing a too-tight shirt (poor thing ain’t got a body to flaunt anymore, maybe 😐), but the crowd was literal LOL messy (like the bartender’s face)

i would give a negative star if i could. horrible service and super rude and disrespectful bartender/waiters. Acted like he had 2 sticks up his a**. Drinks were watery and overpriced, tasted bad in general frankly and i tried 3 different drinks to see if any would even be decent but all of them were gross and just bad flavor combinations... and the place was completely empty (i guess for a good reason😁). do not recommend at all unless u like being treated without an ounce of respect and drinking straight up disgusting drinks. middle finger up to this place🤣it is trash. made sure to let them know too so now i gotta let y’all know! avoid this dumpster of a spot ✌️
