Opiniones de Terrior New York
Super satisfying valentines meal! Everything about their interior oozes cool-ness. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. Every dish we tried were delicious and went well with the wines they recommended. 10/10 will come again!
unique wine list, this insanely delicious truffle pasta dish that i’ll be thinking about for the rest of my life, and an incredible server (forgot his name!! 😭) that was able to answer all our questions and steer us in the right flavor direction. will be making coming back here a priority next visit to nyc.
The seriousness of the menu is intimidating, but the staff more than makes up for it. Joe took us on a grape journey that did not disappoint. If the purpose of a sommelier is to serve as the bridge between fine wine and the ordinary human, Joe should be considered a master. We tried four glasses based on our first preference and Joe made it approachable and understandable in a way you won’t find in many places around the world. The charcuterie board was awesome and have no complaints, but the staff was the best part. Don’t miss out. Awesome spot across the board, and Joe made it an amazing experience.
Amazing evening at Terrior. The service & atmosphere are wonderful. Julia took us on a fun wine adventure by picking various wines for us to try that matched our food and preferences. Everything we ordered was delicious and arrived quickly. I highly recommend visiting Terrior for a fun night out with great wine and great food!
The cutest wine bar in Tribeca. The bartenders or should I call them sommeliers certainly know the wine. The menu is also in a binder - I could spend all night reading the menu - its extensive. The wine is amazing, and the food looks so good too. We only had the deviled eggs (they are gigantic) and olives but both were really good. We plan on coming back with a bigger group because you can really get lost in the wine here.
Love this place. Who says a dive bar feel can't serve good wine and food. You get the feel of the non stuffy, enjoy a drink and chat without the hurry up and get out. The employees are knowledgeable and seem to love a good challenge
Great wine and great service! Used to go to the other terroir back in the day, but this was my first time at this one. Great experience and for anyone that enjoys good wine and great service, highly recommend it. I believe Jennifer was our server. She was amazing! Great personality, knowledge, and enthusiastic!
We popped in on a whim, at a busy time (~6 pm), without a reservation, and were understandably turned away... But then the hostess had a thought and apologetically explained, "I have a reservation coming in 45 minutes...". We were just looking for a quick drink and a snack, so that was perfect! The wine menu is extensive, but we ended going with vermouth, one red and one white, on this especially warm evening. Both were delicious, as were the sardines, bread, and cheese. Our server was very knowledgeable/playful/fun. We told him about our deal and he was like, "Relax. Stay. What are they going to do?" (loud enough for the hostess to hear). 😀 But a deal is a deal and we were out in time to turn the table for its rightful party.
One of my favorite wine bars in NYC! They have an exceptional wine selection, with a particular emphasis on Rieslings. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. They even offer blind tastings, which add a fun and interactive element to the experience. The food is consistently excellent, especially their impressive selection of cheeses. A must-visit!
One of my favorite places that I visited in NY! I can’t remember our servers name but he was amazing. Very friendly, Knowledgeable and helped us with some great picks! The place is funky, eccentric and they had soooo many great options. So many wines that you may not find on a regular basis. The small bites we had were also delicious. Beef tartare, deviled eggs and the Korean chicken wings. It was a wonderful experience with my girls and we will definitely be back!
This wine bar was recommended in a bunch of places online as one of the best in NYC and it didn’t disappoint! The selection of wine is almost overwhelmingly large (a literal binder of options) and the place had a really fun vibe. The food we got (burger and fries) was also very good! Would love to come back and try some more of the varieties of wine!
What every wine bar should aspire to be. Amazing selection, with great descriptions of the wines on the list, and a staff that's knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions (not that I'd expect anything less given owner Paul Grieco's history). Fantastic food. If I still lived in town I'd be here at least once a week after work.
I had two and a half days in Manhattan on a layover. I'm a wine nerd. Could have gone to many different wine bars. Came here twice and nowhere else. If you're a wine enthusiast or not, the knowledge and passion of the staff will impress. Talking to the owner, Paul, was a blast. Very reasonable pricing and very, very unique menu that is great reading as a textbook, editorial, and tasting notes of the wines on the menu.
Excellent wine bar with many good wine choices. The charcuterie and cheeses they have are excellent. The best part is the service. Specially Jake. He went was exceptional. I could taste any bottle and for every wine he ensured I like it before serving it. It was a very pleasant experience. Sole of the wines were not good but most were and since you can try you are sure to pick something to your taste. They do have beer and other drinks as well. Prices are also very good for Manhattan. Go early for 2 reasons: it gets very crowded and noisy; happy hour 4-6.
A good selection of French and German wines at a glass.. not so any American ones … Bottles are quite pricy.. We had a nice before diner drink !
Casual and cozy neighborhood spot. The service is friendly, the food is good, and the menu is fun. The wine list is also extremely extensive, but the staff is helpful in making targeted recommendations.
always a delight! Terrior is more about discovering new and interesting wines (and other drinks!) than it is about getting the bang for your buck or reuniting with an old favorite. The highlight of the experience is paging through the brick of a menu book with eclectic descriptions of the wines and plenty of drinks education tuck throughout. Of course with a menu so large they’re always going to be out of a couple things which can be a bummer. The food here is good but the prices are steep. We thought we’d be picking at the $60+ 2 meat 2 cheese plate but it was gone pretty quickly. We supplemented it with deviled eggs which were tasty and piled high with filling. Definitely a fun and memorable experience trying new drinks and reading about the history of fermentation from the “menu” worth a stop, especially during late night happy hour where prices on wine drop a dollar or two
I had visited Terroir in the past and absolutely loved both the food and the ambience. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but couldn’t not say something about my experience there this past weekend. Unfortunately, we were met with some of the rudest service I’ve encountered in NYC. We were a bit confused by the wine booklet and unsure what to order, and our server not only seemed unwilling to help or educate us, but also made our party feel quite uncomfortable for the remainder of the dinner. While it’s possible it was simply a bad day, the behavior felt uncalled for and unprofessional. It’s disappointing to say, but this experience affected my time at a restaurant I had once highly recommended and genuinely enjoyed.
