This is my second time visiting this restaurant while in Hallandale and the food was great. I had the red snapper seasoned and fried to perfection. My husband had shrimp fried rice. The green sauce added extra flavor to both entrees. Our waitress Ivette was so patient and had great customer service. We will definitely be back again!

This restaurant is spectacular! Amy was excellent! It was our first visit but certainly will not be our last. Amy was able to give us excellent recommendations of popular and traditional Peruvian dishes. We loved everything they brought out for us! We had beef heart, mixed fish ceviche, Sautéed chicken, lunch, special and cassava fries! Five stars all around!

Eltayta Peruvian Restaurant never disappoints! My husband and I had the Fried Snapper (whole), and it was absolutely outstanding — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The white rice, sweet plantains, crisp salad, and tostones were the perfect complement, each bursting with authentic flavor. We also enjoyed the homemade lemonade and their special sangria deal two for $17 and it was refreshing, vibrant, and full of just the right balance of sweetness and fruitiness. My brothers and nephew ordered the Seafood Mariscos, and they couldn’t stop raving about how rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared it was. The service was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. One of the best restaurants in Broward County. We ordered ceviche mixto and de pescado, as well as jalea. Ceviche obviously goes well with su Inca Kola. Everything came out so delicious. The staff were friendly & constantly check on tables to make sure we were satisfied. I normally order from Uber Eats, but eating here, was totally worth the drive. Update: this time I tried the arroz chaufa de mariscos & had mousse de maracuya. DELICIOUS!

I lived in Peru for many years, and the food here is the most authentic I have found in the US. The variety of freshly prepared dishes is noteworthy but does not detract from the quality of the. Visited this restaurant for dinner, I ordered the Chaufa with seafood and an Inca Kola, the restaurant was clean and tidy. The decor had a lot of colors and shows a very unique Peruvian decoration. I was assisted by Camilia, her attentiveness and service was as always outstanding. As for the food it arrived fast and the chaufa had lots of seafood with a very tasty and rich flavor. I love to visit this plaza because there are a lot of things to do and plenty of parking. I highly recommend this restaurant!

During our short vacation we went there twice. Usually we prefer to try different places, but instead we wanted to try more dishes at El Tayta. Waiters were very friendly, fun and attentive with us. Having a view at the beach and the palm trees was a big plus of course :). We recommend!

The food is delicious we went during lunch time. The server that greeted us just took our order and we waited to see him again but he's nowhere time found. We asked a different server but she looks annoyed Also with the language barrier I don't think she understand us. There's fly hovering around while we eat which is understandable because it's the season I hope they do something about it. They have a plug that deter flies but you can still see some landing on drinks. Anyways when we are about to pay we expected that the tip is already included because we are a party of 5. I asked the lady to be sure with my broken Spanish she said it doesn't but then my friend saw the other receipt and it's already included. If she's only honest we would've tip extra. Overall the experience is not good but the food is good.

No real issue with the food. It was okay. What got to me and see if anyone agrees is they add 18 percent tip which is normal but add 3.5 percent for using a card which is illegal. And the nerve to give you a receipt with additional tip. Someone show look into that 3.5 percent.

I always go to this restaurant with my family, but never had a bad experience with them until now. I bought a whole pollo a la brasa with fries for pick up. I went home and everyone ate their portion, when my youngest daughter told me mom this taste nasty. I went to see her plate and the chicken had a different color and the smell was as bad as rotten meet. I went back to the restaurant with the rotten chicken and the guy in charge told me that "this was part of a whole chicken and that they sell fresh food". Asked him if he at least can smell the chicken and he said no. Then I asked him well since I want to report this to consumers affairs you should at least take my information because you will be responsible for the medical bills if I need to go to the hospital with my daughter because she ate more than half of her portion. He wrote my information and my complaint on the back of a receipt "totally informal" I provided him all the information related to the purchase and told him and I will have my daughter checked by a doctor. I am sure they need to work on the quality control of the food they buy/sell. I will report this, so they can be inspected and see what is the protocol they follow with the food before they sell it to the public.
