Went to fight night and everything was good! We got the buffalo chicken sandwhich and the buffalo wings with the loaded tater tots everything was very yummy!
Journey was amazing. We were a rowdy crew and she went right along with it!
I drive by Tom’s every day after work. Today I decided to stop! It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is huge! TVs everywhere and the atmosphere is inviting. A great place to watch football. They have a large menu and everything we ordered was really good!! We tried the potstickers, poke bowl and the prime rib dip. The prime rib dip was our favorite but I’d order them all again. Thank you, Journey for the great service! We will be back.
Vanessa took great care of us during the UFC 320 fight. Even with how busy it was, she stayed attentive and friendly the whole night. Really appreciated her making sure everything ran smoothly for our table and checking in just the right amount. She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish.
Journey provided phenomenal service. We came in after a long day of drinking and she made us feel right at home. It was a perfect way to end the evening.
Stopped by on a whim while perusing around downtown. First time here. Initially was empty, but as the evening went on got gradually busier. Drinks were 10/10. Bartender was Jaelyn, she was great, attentive, knew what she was doing. Had an appetizer which was on point with my expectations of the place. I'd say major step up from what used to be here before it was Tom's. We'll be back.
Pete and Jaylene have been wonderful! That have the best customer service! I also see another employee! She is also moving fast they are doing excellent here! Overall this bar is the best sports bar! I’m proud to make it here! Thank you all may more miracles and blessings come them and their families!
Sione, Max Yazmin provided amazing services was an amazing service Tried out Tom Watch while in phoenix and was very impressed. The customer service was great by the bartender and hosts and tons of tv to watch the games I was interested in. I got the French dip and a slide salad both were great. Sandwich spot on great presets and delicious salad was also really good so they do everything right. Will definitely be back to try out other items
Came back to Tom’s for UFC 322 and had another great experience. Vanessa took care of us again and made the night super smooth. The food and drinks were solid, and the vibe was even better this time — they turned the lights down and had LED lighting that made watching the fights really fun. Always a good spot for fight night, and the service definitely helps make it worth coming back.
We came in here to sulk in the disappointment of not being able to go see Jason Aldean at the Hondo music festival because it was sold out, but this place quickly renewed our spirits with some tasty spirits of their own. Before enjoying our tasty comida (the prime rib dip, poke bowl, and potstickers) we indulged in Tom’s Mezgarita. It was smooth as my bottom when I was a baby brown boy. SO GOOD! The place looks bigger than advertised from the outside. The atmosphere is cool and inviting, lots of TVs to watch your favorite teams win or lose. Journey was helpful in suggesting items on the menu we tried out. And providing timely service! Thanks, Journey and company for the good experience. We will be back!
Tom’s Watch Bar is an amazing place to spend a Sunday — great energy, delicious food, and top-notch service. The Mediterranean Bowl was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. A special shoutout to Gabriel, our server, who made the experience even better! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great Sunday hangout with excellent food and service!
Had an awesome time at Tom’s Watch Bar! The food and atmosphere were great, but the highlight was our server, Jaelyn. She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfect. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests — such great energy the whole time. Definitely ask for her if you go!
If you find yourself in downtown Phoenix, this spot should be on your culinary itinerary especially given its prime location directly across from the Phoenix Arena. This review comes after my second visit, and both times the kitchen delivered memorable plates. On my first trip, we ordered the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese an indulgent, decadent dish with rich, creamy layers. While the shrimp felt like a pleasant but nonessential addition, the lobster shone and could have carried the dish on its own. On our return visit, the star of the menu made itself known: Tom’s Prime Rib Dip. Imagine a refined take on the classic French dip perfectly seasoned prime rib that leans slightly salty, paired with an au jus that is more reminiscent of a light, savory gravy. The balance works beautifully, with each bite offering depth and comfort in equal measure. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but these two dishes alone are reason enough to stop in. For anyone craving elevated comfort food with a twist, this place delivers.
Having traveled from out of town on business, I planned to attend a game at Chase Field and decided to dine at this restaurant beforehand. I am very pleased that I did, as, while it may not offer anything extraordinarily unique compared to other American bar restaurants, the food was exceptional. Despite my particular requests, they were very accommodating in customizing a crispy chicken burger and a cocktail for me. The service was also outstanding, prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect, and the window view provided an excellent vantage point for observing the foot traffic during the game. I certainly intend to return if the opportunity arises.
Great new spot! Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. This is truly the spot to be for any sports fanatic. Big screens, amazing quality food, family friendly, great customer service not to mention it’s a whole vibe. Definitely enjoyed this spot! You can hangout before, during or after a game and not feel like you’re missing out with all the screens to keep you in the know.
Food ok, probably priced reasonably in this particular economic climate. Going to run you $20-30 a plate easily. Ask for drink prices before ordering. We purchased a red bull alcoholic drink and did not ask for prices. I anticipated they would be expensive but 2 drinks were $47.00 just for the drinks. So for 2 people our bill came to $97.00 for 2 alcoholic drinks a cheeseburger and club sandwich. They also charge a 4% surcharge for “increased costs”. Others may find this a reasonable cost but we will not return. Our server very nice but never saw her after drinks and food served except towards end of meal. Had to ask another server for glasses of water. If you are going to charge me essentially $25.00 for one alcoholic drink, because it had 2 shots of alcohol according to waitress, then I better see you a couple times throughout meal.
Typical Downtown Phoenix resturant. Overhyped and overpriced. Got $9 805 beer and $10 well drink. We ordered a chicken and corn bread pancake to split. The pancake was interesting. Good but a little dry. The chicken was terrible though. The breading fell off with every bite so not battered well and overcooked so very chewy. Server was very nice but busy so we hardly ever saw him.
This was by far a terrible experience. We showed up about 2 pm on a Sunday. The bar is filled with TVs and every football game. The place is not full but they still have us standing at the door not being seated.. finally seated and a server says they will be right with us after waiting awhile. Only to continue to wait. Finally able to meet the servers and then ask and order drinks. Took forever to arrive. The food that we got was a hell of a waste of time. Chicken came out burnt and the portions were very small pieces of chicken. The flavors were not sub par. I will not go back to this place. I am a season ticket holder and this would have been. A good spot before games however the price is what's keeps them in them in business but I do see this place closing in the next 3 years.
Host and short waitress gave very hostile and uncomfortable experience. One hour before closing (11pm) the short waitress came over to ask if we needed anything else (not our waitress), I asked if we could get refreshments (non alcoholic) for our friends picking us up and said no and they would not be let in when Tom’s closes at 12am. Our waitress came shortly after to ask if there was anything else she could get for us, I let her know we wanted to get refreshments for our friends picking us and was super friendly and said since they were non alcoholic we could get them to go. When our friends got there the host said they couldn’t come in to the restaurant because they were getting ready to close (1 hour before closing time). Our friends when to go get us and the host followed them all the way to our table and said they can’t be in here. We let her know we were waiting for our to go drinks and said you guys can’t do that and repeated that our friends had to leave. Our waitress noticed how hostile the host was being and apologized for her behavior although it should have been the short waitress and host that should have apologized. We left and walked to Hanny’s since there was still an hour before closing (also 12am). Atmosphere and customer service was outstanding since the moment we walked in and were greeted by the host. Their kitchen was closed but still gave us freshly made complimentary fries. Our waitress at Tom’s was super friendly and extremely nice. As a Suns season ticket holder it’s easier to walk across, wait for traffic to die down and wait for a ride. I wish I would have got our waitress name to specifically ask for her but I don’t think I will be going back.
Came here to watch the football game and will NEVER come back here. I very rarely leave reviews even when having a bad experience because i work in the restaurant industry and know how it is but my experience here was HORRIBLE. My chicken sandwich came out raw. I sent it back just for it to come out burnt the second time. The whole restaurant was disgustingly dirty. Dirty floors, sticky tables, no AC in the building. Multiple customers were complaining about the heat, even our server mentioned that it was common that the AC doesn’t work. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with toilet paper all over the place and sewage smell. Food and drinks are stupid over priced for mediocre quality. $70 FOR A MARGARITA, doesn’t even come in a cute glass. It was not that busy and i overseen one of the mangers treating staff terribly. I feel extremely bad for employees here as it doesn’t look like a great work environment. First and last time coming to TWB and highly encourage others not to come here!
Stopped into Tom’s “watch bar” after a Suns game…it is more of a people-watching bar. They weren’t able to get most NBA games on the TVs, and the food tasted canned and heavily processed, more like something reheated than made fresh. The service, though, was fast and friendly, and both the hostess and our waitress were genuinely sweet. Unfortunately, the overall experience makes it harder for the staff to earn the great reviews they deserve.
Worst bar service I’ve ever experienced. We sat directly at the bar, face-to-face with the bartender, for the entire NFL playoff game and were never once asked if we wanted a drink. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Nothing. What made it even worse? She was actively serving people on BOTH sides of us the entire time—taking orders, making drinks, opening tabs—while we were completely ignored. For some reason, we just didn’t exist. The only drink we received was from the barback, once. Not from the bartender whose job it is to serve customers sitting at the bar. And before anyone makes excuses—it wasn’t even busy. There was absolutely no reason for this level of neglect. Sitting at a bar during a playoff game, watching everyone around you get served while you don’t, is unreal. To top it off, the bathrooms were disgusting—urine all over the floor and clearly not cleaned. If basic cleanliness can’t be maintained, that says a lot about the overall standards of this place. Completely unacceptable experience. We won’t be back.
I gave this location this rating not because of their food quality but their overall lack of hospitality. We were seated right away when my daughter and I arrived, but once seated, nothing. Not a hello, I'll be right with you or even some glasses of water. After 30 minutes of waiting, 2 times asking for assistance and watching other guests being attended to that were seated after us, we walked out. And we were not the only guests that left, I saw about 2 other parties leave their tables very upset. I'm really hoping it didn't have to do with the fact that we were Latinas and most of the guests were White. When leaving, I asked for managers name, which one of the hosts stated was Niki. I hope they improve their customer service going forward.
