The service it’s always good very friendly employees. I always get the chicken plate with Salad and it’s always juicy and the salad has the perfect amount of dressing. My husband always gets the gyro and it’s always very flavorful too. Parking can be tough depending on the hour you go so plan ahead.

Stopped in last minute for lunch and the service was super friendly. They recommended the spicy feta with our hummus and it was popping with flavor. We also grabbed the veggie patty burger and the tilapia wrap. The fresh cut fries were excellent and were especially good in the spicy feta.

But today I came during dinner and ordered the regular size, original gyro, my dad got the gyro plate and a side of fries. The original gyro came with red onions, tzatziki, and a good heaping of beef/lamb shawarma on a thick, delicious, fluffy pita bread, and a good serving of French fries. The gyro plate came with a LOT of shawarma, Greek salad, 1 dolma, 4 pita slices, red onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It only came with 1 tzatziki, but extras are 50 cents each. They also have Mexican coke!

Would I return? Yes, for quick, tasty eats and the vibe. Demo’s offers solid Greek flavors with a casual, no-frills vibe. The food hits the mark for freshness and authenticity—think flavorful gyros, fresh salads, and perfectly cooked pita. I especially loved the indoor painted walls, which added a nice authentic touch to the atmosphere. It’s a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal whether you’re on the go or settling in. Demo’s Greek Food is delicious (and authentic)! We ordered food takeout, which took about 10-15 minutes from the moment we placed our order. The food was still perfectly warm when we got home. I had the gyro with beef & lamb, grilled onions, Mozarrella, mayo and I added spicy feta and tzatziki dips on the side. 10/10. Gyros taste just like the ones I’ve had abroad. The Baklava was also a nice treat.

The best in Texas! The food here was amazing. Everything looked and tasted so fresh. What a wonderful mix of ingredients and flavors. The service was top-notch as well. Everyone was attentive and kind, plus they're military friendly. They're now definitely at the top of my go-to restaurants around town.

I absolutely LOVE these guys. I've been a customer of Demo's (multiple locations) for years and when I'm craving a Gyro, they are always my first choice. The meat is well seasoned and the fries are so good. No frozen mystery potato sticks from them. I know it's not "Greek food" per say but the cheeseburgers here are also amazing. Never dry, great portion sizes on all the food, friendly service. We love us some Demo's in our house 💜

This place is super busy during lunchtime. The high quality of the food justifies the wait. It's open seating and I didn't have a problem finding a seat although they take a while to clean tables when people leave. After I ordered and paid for my food it took around 15min to get it. I ordered the chicken and beef combo platter and it was excellent. I liked both meats equally. The tzatziki sauce was awesome. I will be coming back many more times. They have some lunch specials but I felt the double portions of meat in combo platter was better for my appetite.

I stopped by Demo’s Greek Restaurant after work on a Saturday. The place was very spacious and comfortable. We ordered the chicken gyros with a salad and steak fries. The gyro was delicious, and the tzatziki sauce was amazing. I wasn’t a big fan of the fries, but the salad was fresh and hit the spot. The portions were generous for the price. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely go back.

It was ok. It's not a location I would choose every week. The staff was nice. It was a pleasant place to dine at. Not to loud or congested. I'm on keto diet so this place had options. I liked that the lettuce was fresh and not complete brown or soggy.

Does it really taste like Greek food? I am not sure about that but I can say that the food is delicious. Tried the falafel wrap/sandwich it is served with fries. The food was fresh, falafel had a good taste to it. The white sauce drizzled on the wrap is yummy. It's been a long time I had good fries and this place have good fries crispy and cooked fresh. Dolma is not my favorite do not like the tangy/whatever taste it has, tried it in another res. Soon will try their meat options. The restaurant interiors has some nice wall and floor paintings which looks good. There is a upper level seating inside the restaurant and also ample patio seatings. Parking might be a problem if the restaurant is full house.

First trying Greek food. Came here with my friends. I ordered their micro chicken lunch special w spicy feta (?). Since it’s my first trying out Greek food, I’m not sure what to expect/look out for but I throughly enjoyed my food, and surprisingly the micro wrap was very filling. Wasn’t a fan of the fries, felt a bit soggy, maybe it’s the style of the fries? The dine area is nice and spacious. Wouldn’t mind frequenting the establishment again. Oh

This is a nice place located in a corner. It has a parking lot with trees, which is a bonus at DT SA. Service is incredibly fast, and the restaurant is well kept and clean. I had the Demo's Chicken Plate for lunch. My honest opinion? It is fare to say: The Salad and the hand skewered Chicken Kabobs are good. However, I'd have loved the whole order was prepared from scratch. Instead, Pita Breads seem to be coming right out of the bag. And, two important components: The Stuffed Grape Leaves and the Tzatziki Sauce didn't taste fresh or made there. I don't want to upset anyone. This is just my opinion. I'm not stating is good or bad, just what I would have preferred. At the end of the day, it's a place to eat lunch with a reasonable Greek kinda style. Check it out and comment. Hope you enjoy it.

If you're military, be sure to say so, as you get a 20% discount. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that until after we ate. This is an order at the counter, pick up your food kind of place. Delicious food, well made, fresh, and well seasoned! We had different plates and we enjoyed our meals quite a bit. The lamb was good, the gyros were generous, and the tzatziki was awesome! Hummus is homemade and with the side of pitas was a great appetizer. Limited parking might make a busy evening difficult to find a spot. Worth the stop, the food was really good!!

Probably the only Greek restaurant I know of in San Antonio but lucky for us it's great. The food here was amazing. I'm a big fan of the gyro and they give many tasty options for it. Plus their deserts were amazing to finish off your meal. They do serve beer which is always great to go with the sandwich you eat. My only downside is the homestyle fries. I wish they were seasoned. Just to give a bit more to them. Right not they are just like you'd make at home. Also there is no wait staff so you have to listen and go pick up your food. Which is only a problem when you are upstairs and it's a bit hard to hear. Other than that it's a great place for lunch or dinner. Check it out

Gyros tastes good, but the portion size is terrible. Salad very basic. Very overpriced. Maybe the area because it seems gentrified. Customer service was good, no issues. I guess since I'm on a diet the portion size helps me cut out calories. But if your not in a diet you may be frustrated.

Context: We come from the Houston area and are grading based on higher standards of food and value. Firstly, the pricing was kind of steep $8.50 for a mini beef gyro with fries, the fries were thick cut but extremely bland, they came with no seasoning at all, they were extremely soggy and just tasted like boiled potatoes. As for the gyro the white sauce was surprisingly bland and the beef had only a hint of aromatics but no real seasoned or marinated taste. Overall the gyro was small and bland a terrible combination. I also ordered Spanakopita which was $5.99. A simple fried triangle with feta and spinach, this was the only decent piece of the meal, it was cheesy and rich super worth it. Overall: Overpriced, bland, and soggy

I normally love eating here so I was very disappointed with my meal tonight. Whenever I get gyros delivered I order tzatziki on the side so the pita doesn't get soggy. Tonight I also ordered *additional* sides of tzatziki and subbed out the pita bread for cucumbers since that was an option provided for me on the delivery app. I was planning a lovely meal tonight and then I'd be able to have a great snack tomorrow. Nope. The tzatziki was just left off the gyros and not included beyond the additional sides I paid for so those were used up on the gyros and the cucumbers ended up being exactly six cucumber slices per side. That seems crazy for a side. Maybe my perspective is off but I feel very disappointed this time.

I rate a 2 because the wrap was wonderful however, I’m a salad person and in making a salad you should be able to spot old brown lettuce leaves. I appreciate the fact that the young lady refunded my money back for the salad to my card but I really wanted to eat a good Greek salad which I had not had since I moved from Houston.

My lamb wrap was barely palatable because the meat was salty and tough that I could barely eat it inside the wrap and not at all on its own. Very disappointing experience, I had high hopes for this place. 😒

Appetizer $6 for 2 triangles , really would had expected at least 4 triangles for the price, since your menu said full order for the $6. - been reheated was extra crispy. Overall nice atmosphere but food quality and price to ratios is completely off here.

Sorry but never had such a bad Greek food. I took the most expensive dish that is the lamb (on the plate) , the meat was so dry, believe me I couldn't chew it. The salad beside this had feta cheese on it but all of it was so dry. Very bad experience. Please do not take this example as Greek food because not the appetizer Caciki nor the Tarama were notjing to do with the original tastes. The only good thing was the Pita. Sorry but they have to improve significantly their food quality.

Brought demos today 07/25/25 and it was the worst ever. The bread was tough and chewy and the meat look like a big chunk of roast beef instead of strips of lamb. I don't know what happened but demos has always been ggod.

Def not 4.6. Not fresh. Americanized greek food. Wrong oils. Inflammatory. Feta wasn't goat or sheep.

Twice now ive ordered here and both times my order has been completely wrong. The first time my wrap was made wrong. The second time I didn't receive either of the sides I ordered, the sandwich had a single portion of meat (looks more like a half portion honestly) when I ordered double, had onions when I asked for none, and didn't have the feta which I paid extra for. I've learned my lesson and won't be ordering from your restaurant again. Thanks!

I would try somewhere else if you are looking for a satisfying Gyro. Everything was good except the meat was dry. It had a texture that makes me believe the meat was trimmed off and sat for hours in the open air. It was not tender, it was not juicy. It sort of ruined the meal. The fries were flavorless except for the oil that they were cooked in.
