These guys always go above & beyond with their hospitality. They have the best coffee & trained baristas in PB, you can tell they care a lot about the quality of both their coffee and their food. Their basic beach latte and vegan burrito (I’m not even vegan!) are a must try.

Such a cute spot close to the beach! Very dog friendly with friendly atmosphere all around. Food was amazing!

Just had a lovely breakfast at the Drift Cafe. Monica took our order and she was friendly and welcoming to a couple of seniors visiting the Cafe for the first time. My wife gave the quiche two thumbs up and my French toast was perfectly prepared. The coffee hit the spot and we enjoyed a nice, leisurely breakfast. Easy five stars.

I'm a regular, visiting at least 3-4 times EVERY week. My favs: Yogurt bowl and the vegan burrito (I'm not even vegan) The owners are genuinely passionate about the craft of the bean, find a place in pacific beach that cares as much about good coffee and service.

The iced Americano and vegan breakfast burrito were good! I like that they’ve got vegan options. I ordered ahead of time to pick up to go but they’ve got some indoor and outdoor seating. It’s close to the water so parking can be scarce but as expected in the city. Worth the stop. Cute spot.

I love this place. It captures a breezy beach vibe with great coffee and a delicious breakfast menu that feels both simple and thoughtfully made. The décor is cute and quirky in the best way, creating a relaxed atmosphere that fits the neighborhood perfectly. It has an easy, welcoming energy that makes you want to linger. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in San Diego.

Today I just got a latte". My usual eats here are the breakfast bowl 🤤, bagels (toasted w/ butter & cream cheese), and avocado toast. Consistency is important and after 2 years of being a customer (Oct 2023) I can honestly say there is consistency in the quality of the steaming "milk" (micro bubbles not bath bubbles) which NO OTHER CAFE IN A 5 MILE RADIUS DOES RIGHT much less consistently, quality in the food,and quality of service. Vibe/atmosphere always positive and beachy! Thank you Drift ❤️🌞🐬

Very good cafe in PB. We stopped by one morning during our vacation. The quality and quantity is great value for the price. The strawberry matcha was the best item we ordered. The breakfast burrito was huge for only $12 and the ingredients were very fresh. The best part was how soft/flaky the tortilla was. The cutest shop and the best coffee in PB! 💓 Try one of their specialty lattes if you are in the mood for a treat. Baked goods are nice and fresh, coffee smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Another customer told me the matcha is fantastic as well. Staff are so kind here too, look at the cute notes they left on our coffees! 😭 Honestly not a single thing to fault.

Beautiful cafe in the heart of PB, so close to the water!! I had their orange cream matcha & iced chai latte and it was amazing 🤌 the Baja burrito was also delicious. The cherry on top was the top tier service. Will visit every time I’m in PB!

I enjoyed my visit to Drift Cafe and here is why you will too: 1. The coffee is fantastic. They know what they are doing when serving up a great cup of coffee. If you are looking for great taste this is a good spot to pick. 2. Fast fast fast. After I ordered my drink I went to sit down and just as I was getting settled in for a wait my drink was called. I couldn't believe it. Fantastic service! 3. Great location. After getting my drink I walked near the beach and watched surfers ride waves. It was awesome. I have come here for YEARS and this is by far the best coffee shop in PB. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service is unmatched. The quality of the food and beverages is top notch, then throw in the location right by the beach and the twins who run the place, you have yourself the ideal morning hangout spot. Highly recommend!

Super cute & quaint little place for breakfast in PB! Enjoyed the spinach & feta quiche, strawberry & arugula salad, & chai latte. Hubs had the tropical smoothie & banana nut bread. i love this place - writing a review bc ive tried a ton of cafes and this is by far my favorite. the breakfast sandwich is soo good, and all the coffee and food is higher quality compared to other places ive visited! also really nice employees

best cafe in san diego, matcha is a beautiful green, food is a 10/10, service is amazing and the cafe staff cares about creating good quality coffee. got the tomato toasty and added bacon, cashew cheese is so good and flavorful, I would recommend!

amazing food and amazing service! the ceremonial matcha is pretty good and it comes unsweetened so you can add any type of sweetener or syrup. the quiche was SO delicious but it is a bit too pricey for the size in my opinion.

So I ordered the vegan burrito and it was a majority all sweet potatoes. The potatoes weren’t even fully cooked. It said it had vegan bacon but it was sooooo minimal. No protein in this and felt like I paid $13 for a burrito made of sweet potatoes wrapped in a tortilla … I went to the manager to let him know and instead of him apologizing, he said, “that odd cause that’s one of our most popular items.” Felt a bit gaslit and uncomfortable. He did offer to get something else but will definitely not be going here again. Not worth the price and the food wasn’t that great. I’d skip if you’re on the fence.
