I loveeeee this place. I’ve eaten Vietnamese bun Bo bud all my life but this is the best in town. I highly recommend everyone to try all their authentic cooking. So fresh and so delicious!

Most authentic delicous vietnamese restaurant. At first i thought it is not a dine in restaurant because the name was “to go” but they have dine in. The Banh cuon was really good and it make from flour, not rice paper (so very authentic),m. The Chao long (interstine porridge) was also the most authentic i have eaten so far. 10/10 for the food!

I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and I found this restaurant on Google. I ordered a banh mi and only had to wait about 5 minutes to get my order. The restaurant has a really calm and inviting atmosphere. If you're in the mood for a quick affordable meal, I highly recommend Song Huong.

I booked Lan through Facebook Marketplace. From the very beginning, she was very responsive and accommodating. There were a lot of choices and she was able to work with our budgets and schedule. The delivery arrived on time and Don, the driver, helped us carry everything in. Everyone loved the food. The shaken beef was a huge hit, as well as the shrimp, but everyone commented on how wonderful everything was. I would highly recommend Song Hong Food To Go!

I stopped by just because....I was pleasantly surprised. I got the banh mi with chicken. It was cheap and delicious. 😋 We are staying in oceanside. We drove back down. I ordered 3 banh mi sandwiches, bun rieu, Vietnamese coffee, and a taro boba. Though, we couldn't eat in and cilantros were missing. The food was amazing compared to surrounding restaurants we ate at and we tried them all. This is definitely the best! We will be back.

To quote another less civil review: "They didn't speak a lic of english", and that was entirely ok. This was not at all American food, it was authentic Vietnamese food and drink prepared by real people. The drink was amazong amd the food was very very good. If you only speak english be prepared to point at a menu and nod, and enjoy the good food they make.

Even though i was only getting a cup of coffee, she was patient explaining there are two types of coffee (bitter and sweeter). I tried my coffee and she adjusted it to my liking. They also have an extensive menu with different types of Vietnamese dishes at a very reasonable price. I’ll come back to try more next time.

This place is for To Go only. I like the fact that just order grab and go. It’s inexpensive compared to other places. I will be ordering some party trays in the future.

Ordered a pork and shrimp crepe. The egg crepe was crispy to the consistency of a salt cracker. Not what I expected. The filling was mainly onions, very little pork or shrimp. Overall, not impressive. And, parking in the area is a nightmare.

Wings too sweet horrible they are not salt and pepper wings u need to change it sweet pepper wings who puts sugar in wings that’s discusting. Take out the sugar wings at only sweet flavor . I’ve had wings better than this place. I won’t be coming here for wings again not sorry

Wish I never had came in . I walked in ordered a SPICY BEEF noodle soup, when I received my soup automatically saw a foreign meat part I didn’t recognize. And all this other random meat that didn’t look like beef I asked the server what it was no one spoke English so a random customer had to translate and said that it was a pork snout and other organs included. I stated this isn’t what I ordered and showed the item I wanted and they said this was the spicy beef soup it was a combination bowl of variety meats. I asked if I can get a new one since I don’t eat pork or organs and they agreed. I then get my bowl back and the meat looks like sliced beef tongue. I’m Mexican I know what langua looks like . I notice the meat was scaly (happens when meat is old) I took pics and felt nauseous immediately. I told them I couldn’t eat and due to the language differences they still charged me . PLEASE DONT GO HERE or you will get sick this place is a health violation.

Thought I might support the community and buy something at this establishment as well. I walk in and : Woman looks me up and down with no greeting whatsoever! It was dark, old and not very clean looking. Yellow and dusty looking pictures of food I don't want to be rude and just turn around and walk the heck out! Sol greet her and ask for a menu She huffs then gives me one extremely annoying that I had the absolute nerve to even ask. 1 look it over and tell her thank you and hand it back To her. She literally SNATCHED it out of my hand and added a eye roll to complete the horrible experience!!! If you can't tell I would NEVER recommend this establishment. But good luck to you and your digestive track. If you are feeling adventurous for a horrible customer service experience this is the spot for you. Oh it would be a -2 star rating
