Great little restaurant! Lots of options. Guyanese/Caribbean food and pastries. Very clean and the staff was helpful and very warm and accommodating.

Went here for breakfast. Got so many wonderful cooked dishes. Compliments to the family for taking their time and effort to bring our culture to the community. Friendly service from everyone doing their part to ensure speedy and accurate check out. 10/10 .. I will be returning.

Food was delicious. We had fried rice and chicken, cookup rice and goat curry.Everything was really good. Worth the drive. Food was so good we start eating before we was able to take a pic.

I came in before my shift at Fedex to get me and my co-worker some food . And everything was phenomenal from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the friendliness of the staff and the food was absolutely amazing , . The one guy even allowed my co - worker to place his order while he was on the phone . I will defiantly becoming back . If you want great authentic Caribbean food defiantly go there you wont be disappointed.

I will give this restaurant a five star and I only had to keep going there as long as they keep that same cook they have in the back if the cook change I’m not going back everything taste so delicious. I’ve been there only two times already and I was not disappointed. I had duck curry doll pury chicken patties, pine heart cheese roll fried rice, chow mein egg, ball, potato ball doubles and I want to keep going back until I try everything the doll it’s like when your grandma make it the rice is Shelley I hundred percent love this restaurant I don’t need to go to Queens to eat something nice

Food is always fresh. Portions are heavy. Great selection of West Indian dishes.

My brother ordered a whole tray of chicken and friedrice and we were so glad he did because the food was so delicious 😋 the chicken was so juicy and flavourful. Please keep up with the same recipe! Highly recommend 5A for the best chicken and friedrice! I did not try the rest of the stuff there but will definitely like to try other dishes the next time I order here. 🙂

If you’re in Schenectady, you have to check out Five A’s. Everything tastes amazing, especially their fried rice, doubles, and pastries! 10/10

I was very excited to learn of this place. I set out with a friend to try it out. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered the jerk chicken. For $15 with a drink, I didn't get that much meat. The flavor was ok, but it was one chicken finger worth of meat, which was half bones. I'm not paying $15 for beans and rice, that's for sure. I'll give it another go, but I hope it will be better than today's experience. I'm hoping the doubles or bake and salt are better.

The food is great and in-person service is great as well. My one issue with this establishment is that they don’t answer the phone. On multiple occasions, I have tried to call and place an order so I can just pick up and have had no success.

So I give this place 3 star's about 9 months ago but after what I have witness going in over and over again I have to change my review I was hoping I was going to have to change this review for the best because I see alot of younger people trying which is good. But there alot of arrogance and alot more for them to learn and yes your opening hours are extremely not dependable and as a place that serving the community a community that would kinda look forward to getting there ohra and roti before work or a chicken curry after work your hours are terrible for that and I do see you do not take negative or constructive criticism well!!! And we'll that's as I mentioned before it's because of the arrogance I want to blame it on being young but you're running an establishment the people is how u make your money my suggestion is try to be nicer be a bit more professional it's food that people come go buy not your attitude not the arrogance so from one customer service person to another and for the price your place charges for food the services should be matching hopefully I can visit this place again in 9 months and see it doing better or maybe a competition would help a bit. Wish yall all the best!

The restaurant was already closed for the weekend. I called and left 2 messages on Tuesday and no one called back. Not very impressed with this.
