ZUZU delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We chose the Chef’s Roulette from chef LaCasce and it was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the experience was designed to engage all of the senses not just taste, but sight, aroma, texture, and even sound. The live music added a beautiful layer to the atmosphere, elevating the entire evening and making it feel immersive rather than just a meal. Each course was thoughtfully curated, bold, and creative. The flavors were intense yet balanced, and the variety of textures kept every dish exciting and unexpected. Some of the dishes were delightfully edgy and adventurous, which made the experience even more memorable. The package also included drinks, perfectly paired and generous, complementing the courses seamlessly. A special mention goes to our server Andrew who was outstanding—attentive, warm, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained every dish in detail, guiding us through the experience with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism, without ever feeling intrusive.
Zuzu is absolutely amazing! We came here for both dinner and brunch and were blown away every single time. The food is incredible, the service is warm and attentive, and the overall experience is top-notch. They were also so sweet and dog-friendly—they even brought scrambled eggs for my pups, which totally made our day. Everything was delicious and beautifully done. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
Great spot for brunch and just wow to service - major shoutout to Virg for taking such good care of our group. The huevos rancheros are not to be missed and patio is a vibe. Perfect for gals brunch and spa day followed by pool.
Zuzu’s is located in the lobby of Valley Ho, a mid-century modern hotel in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, built in the mid-50s, that harkens back to its origin days. Yet, Zuzu’s combines modern with that early 60s aesthetic. Korean bao buns with mimosas around the pool? Yes please. A short walk to the main drag in Scottsdale, Zuzu’s, and Valley Ho, check all the right boxes.
The food was amazing. We had a baby and two dogs and the staff were so nice and accommodating to us. From the valet to reception to restaurant, we felt so welcome. With a baby we don't get out as much as we used to so thanks ZuZu for making this one so special .
Wonderful restaurant located next to our hotel. The inside is contemporary and there is a nice outdoor patio area. The smoked salmon toast was delicious that we got as a starter. I’m a big chorizo fan so I got the Huevos Rancheros and it did not disappoint. The mimosas are $14 for a regular glass and I didn’t see the price on the menu so just a heads up so you aren’t surprised. Went for dinners but breakfast was our favorite. The chef definitely knows what he is doing (he is listed on the website) and it was a meal we won’t forget. Also the service staff are all friendly and professional.
This place is great! The service is very attentive and friendly. The food on the other hand is delicious! I stayed in the hotel a couple of nights and got to order breakfast and dinner, and both of them blew me away. The chefs really know what they're doing! For breakfast I had eggs Benedict and a big iced latte, and for dinner I had the wedge salad and fried calamari. Alongside with a lemon drop and for dessert the Tres Leches lava cake. Everything was flavorful and made with love. I guess in my experience the restaurants that are in a hotel are subpar but this one was amazing. I also loved the mid-century decor, it definitely had a chill vibe to it. Highly recommend!
My family stayed here and dined in every morning for breakfast. Our server was excellent, keeping our coffee topped off and warm. Water arrived right away and the food service was fast. It was a lovely relaxing start to each day. I wish they offered real maple syrup as an option but that’s my only suggestion. The food is fresh and we have no complaints about the portions. One morning, the chef kindly prepared a parfait that wasn’t even on the menu. Love the decor and ambiance that brings you back to the 50s with a mix of Palm Springs and LA. We didn’t bring our pup down but appreciated the option to dine outside with her if we wanted to.
My new favorite brunch spot in the city!! Between the food and the upscale, lounge vibe... I'm. In. LOVE! Had brunch with a girlfriend on a Friday morning so it wasn't busy which probably added to the experience. I was blown away by the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding 🔥 and surprisingly, but equally as blown away by the Blueberry Passion Fruit Parfait🔥! I typically always overlook the boring, healthy options, but this. was. worth. it! Both these dishes had so much flavor and the perfect amount of crunch, I could write a paragraph. We also loved their Avocado Toast as it was a fresh, light, and pleasantly earthier option after the two sweet starters. The Fried Chicken & Waffle was very tasty and well-balanced as well. My friend loved her Purple People Eater cocktail. The restaurant is a little more expensive, but the some of the portions are pretty large (and great for sharing!) Highly recommend for brunch with a friend or small group (especially if you can go on a week day).
We ate here for dinner and brunch while staying at the resort and I had a good experience both times. Our dinner server was Cru and he was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly kind and offered us so much info on everything from the menu to some of things we should explore while in town. For dinner we had the chicken sandwich and a burger. Both came out fresh and were really good. I added on an empanada and that ended up being the best thing I had eaten here. It was crispy and full of beef. It was served with a side of chimichurri. It was delicious!! We finished our meal with a brookie. It was like this hot out of the oven brownie topped with a scoop of ice cream. It was amazing! For breakfast my husband had the fried rice, and I ordered the omelette and the buttermilk pancakes. My husband really enjoyed the rice and both of my dishes were good but the omelette did not have enough bacon, it was primarily filled with large chopped onions and peppers.
Walked over here for breakfast after the attempt to eat at my hotel unexpectedly turned into a negative experience. I love the retro mid-century modern feel of the place from the moment you walk in. The decor and theme is absolutely on point. I chose to go with a light breakfast of steel cut oats and an english muffin and it was an elevated choice given that it came with toasted coconut and blueberries. The jam with the muffins also appeared to be blueberries which was an added bonus. Service was fast and friendly and the server even offered me an iced tea to go which helped for my walk back. Might try to come again and hang out in the bar or perhaps have dinner as this seems like a really cool vibe.

Polly was an amazing server. Gave us great recommendations not only for drinks and food choices, but what to do after dinner. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And delicious food!
This restaurant ZUZU exceeded expectations during our stay, to include the night for NYE! Markinson, Andy, and Mr.London killed it delivering swift service to a high volume of clients during the NYE dinner and post dinner crowd. Also my wife and I sat at the bar for about four hours, people watching and enjoying amazing cocktails, and never once saw any member get upset and always had a smile. We ordered the burger and IBERICO ribs and they were SO AMAZING. Highly recommend, also the food portions are pretty large!!! We cannot wait to return to this hotel and have a drink w our favorite staff. Cheers Your favorite San Diego couple, -Z&L
ZuZu absolutely knocked it out of the park. Our server Emily made the entire evening a blast. Effortlessly fun, warm, and dialed in, she brought great energy and had us smiling the whole night. Huge credit to the chef for an inspired menu that’s anything but predictable. The fried chicken sandwich was hands down the best we've ever had, and that’s saying a lot. It even beats long-standing favorites from New Orleans. The Wagyu sandwich? Honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Full stop. Wine lovers, ask to see the reserve list. It’s impressively curated with surprisingly approachable pricing. The Altamira Malbec from Argentina was exceptional and a standout pairing. Already planning a return for the chef’s tasting menu with libation pairing next time. Make a reservation. This place deserves it.
TLDR: Worth checking out for the breakfast menu. Got a relatively healthy sweet potato with chicken and brussel sprouts, and it surprisingly really hit the spot (tho was still hungry after the fact). View at night was nice.
What we got : Hazy ipa Brussel Sprouts Calamari This place is such a hidden gem. I wish it wasn’t in a hotel where I would come here more often. I’ve never had better brussels sprouts in my life in here they cover in some kind of kimchi sauce and they put bacon in it and it is so darn addicting. I just wish they would go a little bit easy on the sauce as towards the bottom, it just becomes a pool of sauce haha and the calamari was so fresh tasting and crunchy. It was everything I wanted in it. This place is such a good spot and their Caesar salad looked really good. Everybody kept ordering it. The food also comes in big portions which I love.
We went to ZuZu for a late lunch. The food itself was really tasty and I enjoyed sharing plates so that we all had a little of everything. The staff were very friendly and we had an enjoyable afternoon overall. It was a little chilly to sit outside so we landed up inside, but it was rather dark in there.
After eating here, I’m surprised at how highly it’s rated. The service was the best part about it, with our waitress telling us fun stories about the hotels history which we enjoyed. But unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. While it looked pretty good, it was very under seasoned and underwhelming. Neither of us finished our meals. And the dessert that was raved about was wayyyy too sweet. (Coming from a certified sweet tooth) I really wanted to like this place but I would personally give it a pass.
I have been going here for a few years now for brunch and absolutely loved it. So much so I decided to try out dinner for my birthday. It was a great experience as well. Unfortunately a year later my boyfriend and I went for dinner and did not receive the same amazing service I was used to. After the dinner we spoke to Jarrett (the GM) and he apologized telling us he would appreciate if we could give them a second chance and would be sure to take care of us. A few months later and not too much has changed. Needless to say, save your money and go a few minutes down the road to Fat Ox, Mission, Maple and Ash, honestly anywhere else works. While the chef has amazing food the staff treats you like another hotel guest they will probably never see again. Sharing photos because they do have amazing food, I just don’t have time for subpar service
