The meal was delicious. Steam Wonton, brown rice with broccoli and pineapple teriyaki chicken and many other meals that at the moment can’t recall was Piping hot, great proportion. The price are reasonable and the seating dining is where you can enjoy the chosen Tv channel the staff watching and enjoy the scenery and your meal. The healthy meal option is price efficient.

I wished I could give a negative review. No only is their manager or who ever answer the phone was extremely rude, but the sweet and sour chicken made me loose my appetite. Chicken was extremely hard and the rice tasted burnt. I was told to order somewhere else, I’ll gladly take their advice and never order there.

I have been ordering from this restaurant from the first day they opened over the last year. Their food has gone downhill .the chicken is all fat unless you ask for white meat chicken who ever heard of that 😂 The prices have gone up. The portions have gone down. The quality of food is nasty !!!! The woman that answers the phone is the rudest person I’ve ever spoke to in my entire life good luck fortune cookie because I can’t see you staying open for another 40 years.

My husband and I have traveled from Brooklyn for 30 years to go to Fortune Cookie. We placed an order yesterday for $92. Nothing had any flavor. We were so disappointed. First Jimmy ran it and then Joe, NEVER had 1 complaint from us. We will never take that trip from Brooklyn again. Prices are outrageous for what you get.

Food was TERRIBLE. Hands down worst Chinese food in my life. I ordered The classic sesame chicken with pork fried rice and got sesame sauce on hard @ss chicken cutlets. They need to be closed down. Even the rice was garbage. I also Ordered wonton soup cuz I was Feeling sick but that looked very suspect and also went straight to the garbage. Order from here if you want… but you’ve been warned!!

Religiously went here for years ATLEAST once a week. They got new owners about a year ago and changed the recipes for the food. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but it’s not the same anymore. Still looking for a new chinese food with similar chicken wings to the old fortune cookie.

Ordered at around 10:30pm and it was horrible from the start the lady couldn’t take my address down and was screaming into the phone, the guy was being very sarcastic and even laughed as he said they didn’t have something I wanted which every other Chinese place I know of has. Called to check when my food was coming and he yelled at me and straight hung up. My girlfriends chicken was so dry she didn’t even eat half of it and her “fried rice” was pathetically bland, half black, and had absolutely nothing in it. My chicken lomein looked crunchy regardless of the excess about of sauce. Wound up throwing up multiple times around the corner from my house walking to the store. Definitely calling in the morning to complain and demand a refund. Never ordering from here again!!!

Fried rice tastes like little pebbles. The rice is so dry and hard it must be several days old. The other food is soaked with oil. Fast food often does have extra oil but Fortune Cookie by far has a layer 1/2 thick of oil on top of each dish. Most food is old and has a stale taste. Best to avoid.

This place is the pits hands down. I have had the best and the worst of Chinese food and this tops or equals the worst I have had. I had the boneless spareribs combination. I asked them if they can substitute the egg roll for a small Wonton Soup, they said they can not substitute for soup only another roll so I took the spring roll. They are the only place that I ever went to that does not exchange for soup. However, I have been to places that have upcharged me for a dollar which I am fine with. But saying no to the customers is an absolute mistake especially since I am willing to pay you extra . Now for the food. I ordered the combination boneless spareribs. I will tell you that they definitely give you alot of food but it is bland. The ribs and sauce are very sweet but bland. The rice was also bland and had an aftertaste as if I was eating an almond cookie. The spring roll was huge but bland and the bottom of the roll was soggy with layers of oil. I asked them when I was leaving if they put MSG in their food. The girl behind the counter was acting like huh? The guy said yes we do in certain foods. I asked them if mine had MSG and he said no. I said because I feel bloated like it does, then he said the rice has a little. Listen it has alot because now half an hour later my mouth is dry my body feels well bloated. I got home dying to go to the bathroom and now I am stuck on the porcelain God for 15 minutes. I will never ever step foot in that place ever again. Will not recommend to anyone. P.S. The front menu says it has been there since 1981. I will tell you that they still cook like it is 1981.

I will start with the fact that I placed my order through GrubHub at 8:32PM. I ordered wings for my 6 year old and Shrimp Fried Rice and Beef with Broccoli for my Fiance and myself. The Delivery driver calls me and tells me that he is outside at 8:49!!! I didn't pay it any mind but that shouldve been the first red flag that went up in the air. As my Fiance and I opened up the rice, the stench of raw fish filled our dining room. Saying that the shrimp was undercooked would be an understatement. It could have been swimming in the container. That's how raw it was. It was still grey! When we opened the carton to the beef and brocolli, it looked okay. Upon eating it, we immediately spat it back out as it was sour. Not sure if it was the sauce, the bland non seasoned beef, or the bland and pale broccoli. Either way, this was a horrible experience to say the least. I am not sure if it was a rush job since they close at 10, but serving undercooked shrimp is a HUGE HEALTH HAZARD. Trust me, my Grandmother ran a catering business in Guyana for over 30 years. Now I have to deal with my home smelling of raw fish. The only upside to this is that my 6 year old didn't have to go to bed hungry because you cant screw up chicken wings. I ordered food from your store on uber eats because of the good reviews but I had to cancel because I realized I had the wrong address from where I used to leave. Long story cut short, I spent twice as much paying for the same food which was almost 70 for something I was supposed to pay for at 30 just because you guys have a stupid no refund cancellation policy. I’m never paying a single dime at your store in my life and never giving you guys a good recommendation. What a waste of money 👎

Very rude staff ... especially the driver, theres only one driver supposedly and he doesnt speak english so the lenguage barrier gives him more aggitation and is not good with customers, when i called the store they were no help and basically asked me "what do you want" after expressing their driver yelling and making a scene infront of my house, would not suggest.
