Beautiful atmosphere, romantic, and perfect for a dinner or drinks with friends. The food is delicious and nicely presented, everything tastes fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. Not loud. A little on the pricey side, but overall a lovely experience.

This is a beautiful hidden spot! The front has very little signage, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Once inside, you feel as if you're transported to somewhere else. There is a sleek bar that leads to a lounge room lined with shelves of books. Its a good spot to drink and socialize. The restaurant then opens into a larger room that is outside yet fully covered. It has a very comfortable, cozy feel. Service was friendly and punctual, checking at regular intervals and recommended house specials. We tried a range of items and shared them to get a more full experience. Each dish was delicious! Flavorful and fresh, and also came out rather quickly. The setting is very romantic, so it's great for a date, but could also be a pleasant spot to dine with friends. A place worth dressing up a little and spending some money for really good food and atmosphere.

My partner and I had a fantastic evening celebrating our anniversary last night. The seating area is gorgeous, the service was incredible. I truly wish I remembered the name of our server, but she even sent us complimentary drinks for the occasion. A cute goblet of rosé and a shirley temple for me, since she clocked I was sober from my heineken 0. It’s these details that really set the experience apart. The food was also memorable, with the tuna tartare being the standout dish. The steak frites sauce was delightful, even if the tenderloin itself wasn’t the best we’ve had. The toffee cake is also delicious. We also got the burrata and heirloom tomato which was pretty standard but solid, a plate of crispy cauliflower and a white chocolate creme brulee. They all tasted fine but did not steal the show like the tuna or peppercorn sauce from the steak. We’d go back just for the service and atmosphere alone.

The staff was friendly. It was busy on a Saturday night. Even with a reservation, they will not seat you unless your whole prayer is present, so everyone be on time. We were moved to a cabana (more intimate) and it was lovely, but It took a loooong time to get the both and for our food to be ordered & come. We were compt? wine 🍷 for the inconvenience (which is nice, but most of us were not drinkers, so I felt bad about wasting). Maybe they could give a choice next time. Regardless, the atmosphere is chic, staff is super cool, food delicious - presentation on point - and scenery beautiful. The bar/book area is hip to get drinks before being seated. Great for people watching, too. Valet parking is only $10. You could drive up and down Ventura to find a free parking space (but why?) 10/10 and chef's 💋!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely Lounge in a gorgeous outdoor Alfresco dining room. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered five different appetizers to share between 3 people. All the cocktails are amazing as well.

Firefly Studio City, California! WOW! What a great way to come back to my other hometown Studio City. A great way to celebrate my birthday! Emily the hostess was so sweet, understanding & professional. We really appreciate her hospitality. Marty! Marty! Marty! this man knows his pairings, gave us a tour, was absolutely exceptional service!!! He was very attentive to detail & very nice! Traveling from New York & New Jersey area, we needed that so much! Like this restaurant is out of this world, so beautiful, romantic & absolutely amazing! The music was phenomenal! We can't wait to come back. Very nice! I dreamed of the miso cod entree in N.J. before I arrived to L.A. It was everything & more.

Great spot! Make a reservation and park with valet for $10. Highly recommend the tuna tartar for appetizers, for entree get the mushroom pappardella and shrimp pasta. You won't regret it! It's delicious.

A Perfect Anniversary Celebration – Amazing Ambiance and Thoughtful Service We celebrated our anniversary at this incredible restaurant, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was absolutely stunning—elegant, cozy, and the perfect setting for a special occasion. I had notified the restaurant in advance that we were celebrating our anniversary, and to our delight, our server brought us two complimentary drinks as soon as we were seated. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel even more special. For starters, we ordered the tuna tartare, and it was simply divine—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of textures. For my main course, I had the miso-glazed cod, which was delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, though I did think there was a little too much cilantro for my taste. My husband opted for the burger, and he raved about how juicy and flavorful it was. Another bonus was the valet parking, which made the whole experience even more convenient and stress-free. Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed every moment of our celebration. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I will definitely be back for another visit!

My first time here. Coworkers' new favorite place to eat so they brought me here for dinner. A truly one of a kind experience in Studio City. Pricey, but worth it. The service is top notch and the food is mouthwatering, including the presentation. They have fried olives. I was pursuaded to try. This was the first time I tried olives. Well, I could have eaten the whole tray! That should tell you just how tasty they were. I also loved the italian red wine they serve for tasting right after you're seated. If I didn't already have a 100 bottles at home, I definitely would have bought one...but now that I think about it, I should have bought one anyways!

It's rare that I enjoy my dining experience so much that I forget to leave a proper review. This place is a little tough to find. Parking can be difficult unless you want to valet. As long as you manage to find your way in, the atmosphere and service are immediately worth the effort. Service was outstanding. We were taken care of from start to finish. Beautiful cooking on our food. Ambience was amazing. If I could give them 5 more stars, I would. Great place for a special date night, but also great for a group of friends looking for a delicious night out. Prices are a little high but very much worth it. Hats off to everyone at Firefly. Can't wait to come back.

first time i came to firefly i had an amazing experience, the food and service was good. so i decided to come again the subsequent week. however this time round, despite making a booking, i had to wait for 30 mins before being seated. they did give us complimentary drinks for making us wait, but the food was not fantastic that night. we had their sweet and sour brussels sprouts the first time and enjoyed that very much, so this time we each ordered our own brussels sprouts. the brussels sprouts came without being coated in the sauce, when we feedback to our server that night she insisted that the sauce was already on the brussels sprouts, that experience was not very good and the food tasted mediocre that day. the first picture of the brussels sprouts you could see it’s heavily coated in sauce, while in the last photo there’s barely anything but they make really good cocktails tho, the cocktails are worth coming back for

Such a great atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Had the salmon (a piece was undercooked) and bass both were amazing. Will be seated until your full party arrives and get a free glass of champagne for dates. ———Update—— My last visit was a shame. I ordered the salmon and the plate had a long hair. I asked to speak to the manager and he looked surprised. Said all my cooked are short balled Mexicans. At the end they re made the food and as always was good. Just don’t understand how people can be so ignorant. Not returning. Truly offended.

It was my birthday and I had made a reservation in advance for five of us. When we arrived we still had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. The table they gave us was in the middle of the foyer between double doors on both sides so cold wind was blowing from both directions. There were no heaters nearby. When we told the host it was cold and windy we were told we could go back to the waiting area and wait another 30 minutes for a different table even though we had a reservation. We refused to wait again and they eventually changed our table, but it wasn’t a better option just an “okay” one. We had to ask multiple times for a heater because it was really cold. On top of that the glass top of our table kept sliding because one of the legs was crooked which made the table unstable. It was uncomfortable and poorly set up but since it was my birthday, I tried not to let it ruin the evening. The worst part was paying the check. The check was brought, I gave my card, it was charged, I tipped, signed, and we started walking toward the exit. Then the waiter stopped me and said I couldn’t leave because they had charged my card incorrectly. They had given us the correct check but ran my card for a smaller amount by mistake. We had to stand in the middle of the restaurant while they took my card again and charged me a second time. I had to strongly insist on getting a receipt for the first voided transaction. That alone took another 20 minutes. I eventually got tired of waiting and went outside, gave the valet my ticket, paid and was already opening my car door to leave when the waiter finally came out with the receipt he had promised. Overall this was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the seating situation, the cold, the unstable table, to the chaos with the payment, it was extremely disappointing, especially on my birthday.
