The location is great, right off of I-20. However, if you're going southbound on the 34, you'll need to go past the Frontage road down to Tanger and make a left there then back track. The staff was great and the young lady that waited our table was friendly and did a great job keeping all our orders straight, there were 18 of us. Furthermore, we initially did not fit in a single table but they extended one more table to fit us all. We were OK with not being together but our waiter worked her magic to ensure we sat together. The food was great, just like other locations. The restroom was also clean and well kept 👍

We decided to drive out to try a new IHOP location (to us). Teresa was our server and she gave the best service that we’ve had at ab IHOP. She had a genuine personality, was attentive to our needs, and radiated kindness. We’ll be back, the drive was worth it.

He was out here busting his butt doing everything while the 3 other boys were in the bathroom doing who knows what and lookin suspicious when angel went in there and told them to get out and help work. This has to be the best location I've ever been to. The service was good, food was quick, they got everything correct, no complaints at all! I was meeting up with my brother and niece for his birthday. I was heading home to Louisiana, and we picked this location to meet up for breakfast since we were all coming from different places. I'm so glad we did! This needs to be where they send new hires for training because they know how to get it done!

My family frequents this iHop out of all others in this region, however we recently got the best service ever hence the feedback. I must say it was a pleasure to have Zyriel as our waitress. Very attentive, extremely effective and let's not forget to mention her sunny deposition! What a breath of fresh air. While we do typically get good service from this location, it is nice to someone aim to be above average. Y'all did a great job of hiring her, let's cultivate her talent & inspire others to do the same.

Our visit to this ihop in Terrell today was exceptional. Waitress Teresa was the best waitress I've had in a very long time. The dining room was busy, but she never dropped the ball. Our food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Though they appeared short staffed on waitresses, Teresa kept a smile on her face as she juggled lots of tables. Stopped by after our flight into Dallas. The service was good, the food was even better. There was a vehicle on fire on the exit ramp, so some of the employees ran out with a fire extinguisher to help. I would eat here again just for that kind act of decency.

The experience as my party entered the restaurant was not the best, but was recovered by Khira I believe her name was. As my party of 2 entered followed by another party of 6 there was already a line of 6 people sitting down. We were waited at the host stand for a little bit but no one appeared to greet us. We asked the people before us if they have been put on the list and they said “no, we have been waiting to be greeted for 10 minutes.” One party left hearing the news, tired of waiting, and more people began to come in. The place did not look super busy, maybe just understaffed. Then, Khira came in to assist and got it all organized. She was handling her tables, bussing the tables, and handled the host stand. She had a lot on her plate when we were there but handled it amazingly. I saw her interactions with other tables and she has such a positive attitude throughout the visit. She was a great waitress.

We are in Texas, I ordered biscuits and gravy. I got a single English muffin looking thing cut in half with a side of gravy suitable to drop on some mashed potatoes. There was no sausage in that gravy and there was barely enough of it to smear across my "biscuit" halves. It didn't take horrible but was not what you expect when you order biscuits and gravy in the south. Out side of that, the bacon was exceedingly thin, like bacon flavored leather (not thick enough to be crispy but not thin enough to be chewy). So in this case the service was the high point, the staff was great and friendly. Overall, it's not bad, just steer clear of the "biscuit" and gravy.

Kitchen needs to be faster with food preparation because our food was cold. It took an hour before we received our meals. The server was ok, great personality but a little slow on refilling our drinks. Overall it gets 3 stars for best effort. We gave our server a 25% tip because we understand that they tried their best.

I very nice location. We were greeted promptly and seated immdediately. Our waitress was pretty good and attentive to our needs. It didn't take long for us to get our food and everyone enjoyed it. The bathroom was clean and I was happy to see they had a changing station for babies. My only complaint is they don't clear the tables as we finished drinks. Our table was packed and getting some of the dishes as she came would have helped. There were tables that were dirty when we got there that still hadn't been cleared when we left and some of the seats could use some upgrades/repairs but I will definitely visit again.

Every single time I get a to-go order from this specific store it’s always wrong or messed up. Today I ordered a cinna-stack and there was no cinnamon sauce on the pancakes at all, just the pancakes flipped upside down and the sauce everywhere in the bag and on the other food purchased. I would like to add that there was no sauce on the pancakes though. This location needs to learn to package spill-able food correctly.

Waitress got order wrong. Never bought out actual ordered food. Cinnabon pancakes were drowning in cinnamon sauce with no icing. Inedible. Waitess never checked on us. Never offered refill drinks. Terrible experience.

Very surprised that the tables are not cleaned, music so loud you are unable to have a conversation (asked to have it turned down, nothing done), server well has a lot to be desired. He needs to be in the kitchen to learn the menu.

For starters, Steve is an amazing waiter!!!! We request for him every time. My issue is I feel our bill was overpriced. Kids meal - 2 damn chicken tenders and 1 small applesauce for $7. Not to mention, the tenders are only 2 bites small with no drink included! That is a rip off! The kids could at least have 2 sides. You're effin ihop, not a damn 5 star steakhouse. I'm not even going to start with the small portion size me and my husband had. $50 total. Unacceptable!

There seems to be a significant issue with service speed early in the morning at this location. During my visit, I encountered a wait time of over 30 minutes just to place an order. Additionally, there was a server named Dustin who displayed an arrogant attitude when asked about the ordering process, especially given the long wait times and the fact that other customers who arrived before us had not yet placed their orders. It is important for management to be aware of these concerns, as they could impact the overall customer experience. Addressing these issues with the staff, particularly with Dustin, may be necessary to ensure that the quality of service meets customer expectations and maintains the reputation of this location.

I’m normally don’t do reviews but this place needs it. First we got asked were we wanted to sit I said booth and the host that was supposed to sit us walked away after he asked us and a waiter had to sit us. We got sat down and our waitress came by and got our drinks tell me how a restaurant that has many other ihops didn’t have Dr Pepper. So we got sweet tea and it wasn’t even sweet we order our food and again they said they were out of country fried steak and mashed potatoes how is it your out of something when your not busy. We got our food with out any silverware and ask multiple time for it my friend didn’t get his food till 20 mins after the rest of us got our food and I had to wait 30 mins for some hash browns. Never again will I eat at iHop in Terrell again. Poor customer service

We waited prob 5 mins before we were greeted and then seated. Was short staffed;only saw one person in the FOH no host. The restaurant was very dirty and so were the restrooms. The food was good enough(took a long time and biscuits and gravy came out cold)and the server was working hard. The only reason I even gave two stars was due to the server, I believed she did the best she could do with what she had. The tables I have pictured were dirty the whole time we were there.... Over an hour.

I hadn't been to IHOP in a while and since it was a holiday and the whole family was off we made a trip to this location. Could tell the shortage of staff was probably going to make this visit a rough one. You can always tell a restaurant is either under staffed or they didn't schedule enough employees for a expected holiday rush. There were 10 ppl ahead of me on the waiting list and you could clearly see empty tables across the whole restaurant. The service was horrible ,the waiter was nice but definitely didn't seem to care. I'd ask for something and he'd forget. I had to actually get up and walk to the waiter to remind him I had asked for something. That happend numerous times it was a rough experience. Locations like these hurt the IHOP brand have seen it with other businesses that have been at the top and they start to either not care or the wrong ppl start running the business and they end up closing down. Me personally I don't recommend this location.

It was a slow and rainy day 7:30am, the place was not even busy but it took from 5 to 7 minutes just to greet US and sit us down because there was no host at the door. We sat down and took roughly another 10 minutes before Traci H, greet US just to let us know that she would be right with us. Later she came back, and took our drink and food order, she brought our drinks and well my soda was flat, I raised my hand to get her attention, noticed me and said to give her a minute, go figure how long was that minute that our food came in, and were halfway there with out meals before she finally came back to out table, asked her to replaced my soda since it was flat, and well took here 5 minutes before my soda came back to my table. I caught her 4 times on her cellphone texting as well as making phone calls. Also spend a lot of time with a table next to us, on where I understand but not to chat with them for 7 to 12 minutes straight. By the way the whole time she keep screaming to the kitchen that who knows who was sick, honestly I didn't wanted to eat there after hearing that. Traci or corporate, I'm not doing this to make you look bad or the restaurant, but to ensure that customers dont need to put up with this stuff. If being a server is not for you with all due respect look for something else.

These is a racial place. I went there today 12/6/25 with my 2 kids and they have me sit in there for 1 hour with no food. Am not mad of me not eating but my kids keep asking for the food. When I ask where the food was. They told me they forgot to put my order in. Every one else had the food right away. But since am Hispanic they didn’t want to serve me

We had a really disappointing experience at the IHOP - Terrell. When we walked in, we were told we had to wait for a booth, yet I personally counted 13 open booths. Many tables in plain view were dirty and hadn’t been cleared. It immediately gave the impression that the restaurant was either understaffed or poorly managed. I was honestly ready to leave, but we decided to give it a chance. After finally being seated, our waiter informed us they were out of tea and chocolate milk. At that point, it just felt like one thing after another, and we chose to leave. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. We understand places can get busy, but cleanliness, communication, and basic beverage availability shouldn’t be issues during regular hours. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark completely.

At that point, my frustration grew, and by 11:45 AM, my mom and I decided to leave since our food never arrived. This experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, poor time management, and obvious oversight by both the staff and management were unacceptable. My mom and I left hungry, frustrated, and completely dissatisfied. I will never return to this establishment again, and I hope management takes these issues seriously for the sake of future customers.

I ordered food my child ordered and my mother had same as i ordered my biggest concern here is how did metal get into my food and served to me those are my biggest worries for other parents whome have children metal consumed is not good it can cause alot of problems such as cuts in the stomach even the intestines can tear from metal also iron overload is not healthy either this place probably needs a health inspection its bad enough the manager is can not see when showed it to her she even came to the conclusion that she knows where it came from DEFFINALY check your food before eating especially for your kids
