Ok so the atmosphere is not 5 stars but if you can get over that you have incredibly fast service and preparation with totally fresh food without the gooey thick sauces or overnoodled entrees. Perfect balance of veggies, noodles and meat, lovely sauces and authentic execution. We got the wings, Thai coffee, pad see ew and yellow curry.
Absolutely delicious curries! We got the panang curry and green curry with sticky rice, both with chicken. The flavors were sublime! Portions were such that we both had enough to bring home to enjoy later. Highly recommend this spot for fantastic curry.
Great place for Thai food. Had the basil chili chicken. Delicious, good portions. Fast and friendly service. Came back for another meal. I would describe the place as tropical Thai restaurant. Had the Pad Thai, chicken wings, and pineapple Fried rice. Very large serving, freshly made, great taste. One of the best Thai places on the island. Go check them out.
Thai Cuisine Express offers some delicious dishes! I tried the Pad Thai and Panaang Curry, and both were fantastic. The Pad Thai was perfectly cooked with a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors, packed with tofu, bean sprouts, and topped with crunchy peanuts. The noodles had a great texture, and the dish was well-seasoned. The Panaang Curry was rich and creamy, with a lovely coconut base and just the right amount of spice. The tofu was cooked nicely, and the vegetables added a fresh crunch. Service was quick and friendly. If you're in the mood for some authentic Thai food, give Thai Cuisine Express a try!
Small Thai place close to Pearl Harbor memorial. The lady who served us was very courteous and accommodated our vegetarian and vegan dietary restrictions. Service time was pretty quick and food tasted good. Reasonable price compared to Honolulu or Waikiki. Parking was a bit hard to find since it is a part of crowded Asian market place. Exterior is filled with Asian food shops if interested in shopping. Must try Thai iced tea. We liked it so much we even took one to-go.
A small authentic Thai restaurant. Plenty of indoor seating and parking is no issue. BYOB or they have tasty Thai tea and bottled water. Menu is simple and easy to understand. Nice decor with pictures of Thailand and Thai festivals. Chicken Satay was excellent, Papaya salad was great, Tom Yom Goong (shrimp) was the best we've had in the US. Pad Thai had a nice taste and portion was large. Very satisfied with the food and overall experience. Will return!
Sometimes it’s a hit or a miss with places like this but i can honestly say that I am glad we stumbled upon it! The food seemed decently authentic and had good flavor to them as well! We ordered it for take out and were treated nice by all the staff we encountered. The food didn’t take long to make either which was nice and they placed it in this perfect cardboard box that made it easy to bring home! Will definitely come back here again soon!
I was impressed that this hole in the wall restaurant has such good food, I haven't been here for ages. They are very cautious and take safety seriously. You have hand sanitizer near the entrance, each table is separated by dividers.. they is contact tracing information taken before you can order. There are clear screens at the order counter. We ordered three items and they each were served in take out containers they also served you with single use containers. The egg rolls were temperature hot and delicious. We also ordered Pad Keep Now with Calimari, #47 and Pad Woonsen #49. Everything was so tasty. The best thing was you didn't have to ask for take out containers when you were done!
Absolutely, positively the most authentic and tasty Thai food on the entire island! How did we miss this amazing hole in the wall Thai restaurant all of these years?every dish is totally authentic and ingredients are as fresh as they come. The curries are to-die-for with an amazing aroma. We had crispy spring rolls with super crisp and fresh basil leaves and homemade sauces. if you are not Thai saavy, they have pictures on the wall matching each menu item which makes it really easy to better understand what you're ordering.
We showed up a little late, close to closing time, but we were grateful they still let us in. The interior gives off a Thailand vibe, which was nice. They don’t serve free water, only bottled water for sale, but they do allow you to bring your own bottle if you have one. We ordered the pad see ew, pad thai, yellow curry, and papaya salad. The pad see ew and pad thai were a bit too sweet for my taste but still flavorful. My girlfriend loves their papaya salad and it was definitely a highlight for her. Overall the service and food were okay. It was an alright experience.
I went in because of the reviews having a 4.6. I’m a very reasonable guy. I understand when restaurants have a number of customers coming in as well as take out orders; however, waiting 15 minutes for the waitress to take my order in my opinion is just over the top. Ok the food. The calamari was on point! Crispy, juicy, right on the money. The pad kee mow was bland . The chicken satay was ok. The chicken fried rice was ok, and the pineapple fried rice was ok. The best part was, when the waitress took my order, my food came out quick. Will I come back here again? No thank you.
Really disappointed of the green curry. There's barely anything in it. The curry is so diluted with water that even picking Thai hot is still tasteless. The Pad Thai was decent, plain stir fried noodles. In general, this place is way too overpriced for the amount and quality. Would've given a higher rating but I believe this place is overrated. PS to user Chayanit : This is a personal review section, which is based on people's opinion and customer experience, not yours. Are you suggesting that all Thai food restaurants in Thailand are all 5 stars restaurant since they are opened by native? The food might be good in your opinions but not so for others. The price might be good in your eyes but not for others. You saying people that complained should just go cook at home? How would they be able to complain if they never went to the restaurant? Your attitude made me want to give an even lower rating.
