Quiora has a wonderful view, our waiter Ian Martin was awesome. He had great recommendations, and they were all delicious. We will definitely go back!

Incredible spot for dinner. The view, the food, and the service were all spot on. Ian was our server and recommended a few items that our family really enjoyed. Don’t go without getting the uni pasta.

Truly had a lovely dinner date here! The skyline and ocean view is a magnificent treat while dining, and the staff are all so sweet and courteous. The pasta was hands down the best I've had in Hawai'i and I'm still thinking about that uni pasta, specifically. Super rich, umami, and bursting with fresh uni flavor- and the noodles were the PERFECT level of al dente texture. Such a decadent treat! I'm not usually a tiramisu person either, but theirs was notably delicious. This would be a great choice for a special occasion meal :) Plus that evening there was a high powered telescope set up and a lovely individual was setting it up so people could enjoy a peek at Saturn and other delights!

We visited here for an anniversary and the food and service were great as always. It was or crowded that day, and we had a reservation before the sunset, so we enjoyed the nice sunset sky over our starter. This time we went with the set menu they offered, and everything was very delicious. We added Eggplant Parmesan on the side and it was on-point.

Always a wonderful experience, across several visits we’ve always had great service, delicious food, and a wonderful view!

The service and ambiance of this restaurant is amazing. If you are on a date make sure you go on Friday’s to see the firework show a little after sunset. The food is great and an amazing value.

Quiora is a gem tucked inside The Ritz-Carlton with one of the most stunning views in Waikiki—overlooking the bay and city from a beautiful terrace. The vibe is definitely on the fancier side, but still feels welcoming and relaxed. Perfect spot for a special dinner or sunset cocktails. The atmosphere, service, and scenery make it an awesome dining experience all around.”

What an awesome experience! The food was amazing, the staff are so kind and professional and the location was perfect. Had a reservation 20 minutes before sunset. Perfect timeto enjoy a cold beer before the meal. We went with the Wagyu Steak and the Lobster Pasta, salads and desserts. Check out the pictures. Quiora is definitely on my “go to again list”

Nestled in the heart of Honolulu’s Waikiki, Quiora is a culinary gem that effortlessly marries breathtaking views with exceptional gastronomy. My recent visit left an indelible impression, earning it a well-deserved five-star rating. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the panoramic vistas of Honolulu’s skyline and the serene Pacific Ocean, which served as a picturesque backdrop throughout the dining experience. The restaurant’s strategic location offers unparalleled views that elevate the dining ambiance to unseen heights. The service at Quiora exemplifies excellence. From the moment I stepped foot inside, the attentive staff ensured every detail of my dining experience was meticulously attended to. Their warmth and professionalism added an extra layer of sophistication to the already refined atmosphere. Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish presented an exquisite fusion of flavors and artistry, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs. From the delicate seafood appetizers to the succulent main courses, every bite was a symphony of taste and texture. The menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes, each crafted with the finest ingredients and an unwavering commitment to culinary innovation. However, what truly set Quiora apart was its exceptional drink selection. The expertly crafted cocktails and extensive wine list complemented the culinary offerings perfectly, elevating the dining experience to new heights. Whether savoring a signature cocktail or indulging in a rare vintage, each sip was a testament to the craftsmanship and expertise behind the bar.

Quiora was recommended to us by an associated restaurant, and how lucky we are to have acted on that recommendation. This is a romantic outdoor dining experience, on the rooftop area of the Ritz Carlton Residences in Honolulu. The four course tasting menu we had was excellent, as was the service; and the atmosphere outside as the sun goes down is fantastic. #hawaii #honolulu #cocktails #restaurant #food

I had a wonderful experience dining at Quiora. Quickly getting the worst out of the way: the beet and avocado salad just does not belong on the same menu with everything else I ate. Apart from that, the food was truly excellent. I tried the Spaghetti Carbonara, the Wood Grilled Fish, Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade, Fior de Latte gelato, and Salted Caramel Budino. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The fish was mahi-mahi and had an excellent texture and flavor with some spice to it. When the restaurant ran out of the cheesecake, the waitress subbed in both of the above desserts and did not charge. I was especially impressed by the Fior de Latte gelato. It comes with a cinnamon-infused balsamic topping that is far and away the best version I've never tried of dessert balsamic toppings. The ambience is relaxed and upscale, the outdoor seating is lovely, and the staff were friendly and extremely attentive. I don't think an empty plate lasted more than a minute on the table before being whisked away. I absolutely recommend dining here.

We came for lunch. The fans helped keep the area cool. It was very clean and quiet/ relaxing atmosphere. You have a nice view while eating. Our server Kiara was extremely professional and so sweet. She really made our experience here amazing. The food was great. We did the business lunch that was a steal of a deal and plenty enough food to fill you up. Food was very tasty.

Great prix fixe lunch experience that offers a light but flavor-packed meal with a fantastic view. On my last day at the hotel, I decided to try lunch at Quiora. Opting for their Business Lunch deal, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I was warmly welcomed by the hostess and quickly got settled at a table with an enviable view of the city and the ocean. Starting with the Panzanella, the classic pairing of cherry tomatoes with goat cheese and bocconcino bocconcini was enjoyable but let down by the coarse focaccia pieces. A substitution with regular greens would have improved this dish. The main course, however, completely redeemed the meal. The Pesce alla Griglia featuring the catch of the day, a Spearfish, was an unexpected surprise. The fish, bearing resemblance to mackerel and tuna in flavor, had a firm texture and a balanced flavor, not overly dominant. The combination of chili crisps and citrus butter sauce added an umami punch that elevated this dish way beyond typical prix fixe lunch offerings. The dessert, Lychee Panna Cotta, sealed the deal. It exhibited an impeccable balance of sweetness from the berry compote and the consistency was just perfect.

May 2023: Stopped by for dinner to celebrate my birthday. The view is amazing! We started with the polpetta meatball and fried brussel sprouts. Both starters were very tasty. I thought the brussel sprouts were a tad over fried/charred. The polpetta was made out of veal and had good texture. For mains, I tried the oxtail pappardelle so a rich wine sauce. The noodles were very good. I would order this again. The drink selection was good. I tried a hazy IPA from Beer Labs that was really good. I like that they have local craft brewery options vs the big national beer producers! For dessert, we tried the sea salt caramel budino. That was very tasty 😋! Overall, a nice dinner.

The world food tour made its first visit to Quiora, the other restaurant on the 8th floor of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Waikiki. It’s a sweeping open space with vistas of Waikiki featuring white marble / quartz flooring and a bar at the far end of the space. There are a number of tables with umbrellas at the leading edge of the space overlooking the pools but these were unoccupied due to inclement weather. We were blessed with a few sprinkles occasionally on our table. We were early for our 5:30pm reservation so we spent 30 minutes at the bar in La Vie enjoying Monkey 47 gin and tonics and the views. I love this gin and my food partner found it to her liking during a trip to Malaysia. The wine list at Quiora is relatively short but one has access to the wine list from La Vie. I wanted something from Italy or Spain but my first choice, Tempranillo “La Navilla”, wasn’t available so we selected a 2013 “Vina Cubillo” from Lopez de Heredia. They’re both reasonably priced wines (in the store, not so much at Quiora) and the age made the wine soft (in a good way) and delectable. Being National Carbonara Day we wanted a carbonara but the only one featured lobster, a no-go for one with a shellfish allergy. None of the appetizers struck a chord with us so we chose the Small Kine Farms Mushroom Campanelle ($35) to share. This was a fabulous dish of pasta accented by fried kale, garlic butter, truffle mushroom coulis, white wine and Parmesan cheese. Our entrees were the 12oz Snake River Farms American Wagyu Ribeye ($81) and the Australian Costolette di Agnello ($78), both prepared medium rare The ribeye came sliced with grilled broccolini and two sauces; one for the steak, the other for the vegetable. It looked a lot larger than 12oz. The Costolette was a hearty rack of lamb, with crispy eggplant and kale, brussels sprouts, and a caponata chutney. We had Broccoli alla Griglia ($16) and Asparagi Grigliati ($16) for our sides. The vegetables came well-seasoned and were delicious. In hindsight, we didn’t need the broccolini as it was featured with the ribeye. Dessert was the tried and true Tiramisu ($14) and I enjoyed a double espresso. We enjoyed our time at Quiora … The food and drink were great, service exemplary and it’s always nice to have a venue overlooking the skyline of Waikiki. La Vie or Quiora? I prefer the former but Quiora was great. Recommended!

My wife and I had brunch at Quiora the other day. A restaurant located inside the Ritz has a lot to live up to, and Quiora does just that. The service, ambiance, and food are all exceptional. My wife had two mimosas (guava and pineapple). The pineapple was her favorite. I had a couple breve lattes, which were wonderful. For our food, my wife ordered the eggs Benedict and I ordered the Loco Moco with a side of crispy bacon. We were wow’d by everything. With so many wonderful restaurants, it’s hard not to go to a new spot each time. Quiora was so great, I think we’ll have to go back again before we leave. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a classy brunch spot with exceptional service, ambiance, and food, Quiora is a win.

Quiora is one of a few restaurants located on the Ritz-Carlton property in Waikiki Honolulu Hawaii. As expected the ambiance, taste of the meals, desserts and server were absolutely superb. Our exceptional server Katie B was politely attentive, professional, very descriptive and knowledgeable of every item on the menu and guided us on our choices for lunch. We forgot to take photos of the meal but did remember before eating dessert. Also highly important to us are that restrooms for restaurant as shown by photos, are attended to regularly.

Beautiful views from the Ritz Carlton waikiki. Great attentive staff. We were celebrating our anniversary and they mentioned it a few times to make our visit memorable and special. Croque madame was hearty. Especially enjoyed the freshed shaved parnesan on top of salad. Bread was little bit on hard side. Wish i had a balsamic vinegar to cut the heaviness of the dish. Chocolate hazelnut chantilly french toast with strawberries is to die for. Sweet tooth craving thoroughly satisfied. Will be back soon.

We enjoyed smoked tuna salad for lunch with pita bread. Fresh greens, edamame, olives & veggies with light citrus dressing. Assorted island fruit (including raspberries strawberry blueberry boysenberry)for dessert. Sat outside overlooking Waikiki PS Restrooms impeccably appointed.

Healthy tasting omelette! The loco moco and ribs are quite heavy, also excellent choices if feeling extremely hungry or want a heavy brunch. The mornings and sunset views are spectacular from the restaurant. Recommend reserving the high tables for a better view. Great drinks as well! Pricey place but it’s what you get at the Ritz Carlton.

Came here for a sunset dinner tonight, and it was magical. Gorgeous views, excellent service, fun cocktails, and the best damn ribeye I’ve ever had. We had the sangria and Kentucky something drink, and both were delish. The spreads and pasta with red pepper cream sauce were both great. The ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu were both yummy, as well. The standout, however, was the wagyu ribeye. Absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. Loved that it came with two dipping sauces as well, though they were not needed because of the divine flavor of the steak, but they were fun flavors to get to play around with. 10/10 recommend.

Went there for dinner with my family. We are a family of 4, with a new born. The staff at Quiora were very accommodating. We took our time, we were there for almost 2 hours. We were never rushed even though every table was full with people constantly waiting outside for a table. The waiting staff at Quiora was very friendly as well. Food is excellent. Would have loved more choices for vegetarians. Nevertheless, everything we ordered was delicious. Place is a bit pricey, but totally worth it. I saw families, couples, groups of friends, also younger, middle aged and older crowd. This place caters to everyone. When you are in Oahu and you want to take your special someone or your family for a memorable dinner, Quiora is one of the top choices.

We chose to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary at the Ritz-Carlton's rustic Italian restaurant, Quiora, which opened just this past November. However, because of our Statewide stay-at-home orders, our State's dine-in options have been severely restricted and October 15 turned out to be perfect timing as our State has been re-opening businesses just as it has allowed Trans-Pacific traveler in. Because we were concerned about aerosolized COVID-19 droplets in enclosed dining spaces, we sought out Quiora's casual alfresco dining layout overlooking Fort DeRussy Beach Park out to the ocean. We made our dinner reservations via OpenTable.com and chose a time that would allow us to catch the colorful sky from the setting sun during the early part of our celebration. Arriving at the porte cochère, we were directed to the valets who greeted us with Aloha as we dropped off our vehicle into their care. A hostess met us as we exited our vehicle, checked us in against her reservations list, and summoned an elevator for us to take up non-stop to the 8th floor. We exited the elevator lobby and was met by Tina, who had called earlier in the day to confirm our contact information for contact tracing, as she congratulated and thanked us for choosing Quiora and the Ritz-Carlton. We were escorted to their Diamond Head Tower where Quiora's hostess took over and got us seated at a high top (of our choice). Being that this was our first time to dine at Quiora, we surely appreciated the personally escorted tour from the elevator to the restaurant. Our server, Kayla, immediately congratulated us on our Wedding Anniversary and greeted us with professional yet warm hospitality. We could see her smiles in her eyes and friendly voice as she articulated Quiora's menu of rustic and seasonal Italian cuisine featuring locally-sourced fresh vegetables and seafood. Quiora is noted for their fresh house-made kinds of pasta which their executive Chef specializes in. We toasted our special occasion and placed meal orders with Kayla. Kayla's service partner was Mindy, who interchangeably brought out our dishes at an easy pace and chatted with us while either she or Kayla cleared our table. From start to finish, our experience and dine was fantastic. Everyone was respectful and truly appreciative of our patronage. They all kept their face masks on throughout the experience. Wewrecomfortambiance. sanitizing wipes as we got into our car.

Went to Quiora to celebrate my birthday with my partner and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much! It is in the perfect location in Waikiki overlooking the beach and cityscape. And to top it off we had the sweetest and most amazing server Ian who recommended us many great options !

Even though he’s my son, I have to say — Ian brings such genuine aloha to everything he does at Quiora in Waikiki. He’s hardworking, gracious, and makes everyone feel right at home. Watching him care for guests with so much heart and attention makes me so proud — it’s that kind of quiet excellence that stands out. 🌺✨ If you’re dining in Waikiki, do yourself a favor and ask for Ian — you’ll experience service with true island style! The food is amazing too🤙🏽

Looking over the city from the roof top of the Ritz-Carlton was amazing. The servixe was top notch. Food presentation was beautiful. Falvor was good but my lamb pappardelle, the lamb shank was slightly tough and under seasoned. Noodles wer cooked to perfection. My wife had Hokkaido uni + crab spagetti and it was superb. The play on caprese was interesting with fried mozzarella. Only complaint there was the breading could have been seasoned. The star of the whole night was the smoked ahi dip. Wonderful flavor.

May 2025 The Ritz Carlton Residences' al fresco Italian restaurant provides a relaxed but stylish setting. The food is well made and generous with an updated menu based on current trends. The wine menu is extensive and varied for all tastes and occasions. The servers reflect the global brand with consistent friendliness and accomodating sensibilities from the greeters, our waiter Marshall and the other servers which exemplifies the Hawaii spirit. The premises although limited is spacious , airy, with enough privacy. Reservations are recommended. Ideal for small grouos and dates.

Quiora is located in the Ritz Carlton and had a very chill vibe. Jessica was our server for the evening and took great care of us and also took some really nice picture. There were few vegetarian options, mushroom dishes were really good, the red sauce pasta was ok. Drinks were really good too! We really enjoyed the experience and ambience. This restaurant had a very romantic vibe, we were with our friends and were able to spend quality time with live music in the background. Really enjoyed our experience overall and would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice dinner experience in the area.

We had a great time at Quiora. The food was delicious and the view is awesome. We had the ravioli and the rigatoni. Both dishes tasted great, the ravioli pasta was a bit undercooked but the lobster filling was great. The servers were really attentive and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a nice dinner.

Beautiful view, food was good but don't expect the portions for dinner to be generous. Definitely a nice place to have a nice dinner and not be miserably full after! Service was fantastic, Ritz Carlton does valet and the restaurant validates for you. Drinks were awesome!

I went to Quiora with a friend to try some good Italian food to catch a break from all the seafood we've been eating in Hawaii, and overall, this restaurant was decent. Quiora is located inside the Ritz Carlton hotel and only has outdoor and bar seating. The restaurant is located on the balcony and overlooks the Honolulu skyline and the ocean. I recommend coming here during sunset to catch some great views while enjoying a drink and a good meal. The restaurant has a very cozy, chill, and upscale vibe. We made an online dinner reservation and were seated right away when we arrived. We started off with tokubetsu sake- Tanaka 1789 X Chartier 'Blend 001* & Tanaka 1789 X Chartier Pavillon'. Both sake were the world's first blended sake from Miyagi, Japan. They were very smooth but honestly didn't feel anything special. We ordered patate arrosto for the appetizer. It consisted of small potatoes with the skin on. The citrus ricotta and spicy honey sauce on the potatoes was really good. For Entree, we ordered 2 pastas- mountain view farm pork rigatoni pasta & big island oxtail papperdelle pasta. The pork rigatoni pasta was a bit spicy. The tomato sauce was great, and the olives added a nice accent. The oxtail pasta was great, too, and the slight hint of pistachio flavor was a great touch. We also got tiramisu for dessert, but it was a bit underwhelming. The nuts in the tiramisu really took away from the flavor and added a texture that we didn't quite enjoy. Overall, it was a good experience. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely amazing experience at Quiora. This restaurant is located in the beautiful Ritz Carlton hotel. There was a simple valet service at the front which made our entrance and exit painless. The outdoor dining ambiance is beautiful with lovely views of the pool and city. Every worker that we came in contact with from the hostess, to the servers, to the manager were all incredibly kind and made our dinner so memorable! The only reason I'm giving this review a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is because I came from LA which has absolutely amazing Italian food and although this food was delicious it wasn't the 5 star Italian food that I've had (but it was to be expected since this isn't the main food of island). ~What we ordered~ Drinks: - Ancient Peaks Cab Sauv Bottle. This was an amazing bottle of wine that was reasonably priced. Paired well with everything in our meal. Appetizers: - Calabrian Garlic Shrimp (Kauai Prawns). Very delicious! I loved the sauce that the prawns were sitting in. Definitely use the bread to dip in the sauce - Buratta. Creamy and delicious. Cannot go wrong Side: - Charred Broccolini. Broccolini is my absolute favorite vegetable so this side did not disappoint. Mains: - Porcini Pappardelle. The noodles were thick and delicious. I loved the lightness of the sauce and vegetables to balance the thick noodles. - Spaghetti All’amatriciana. The favorite of the 3 pastas we tried, but be careful because there is a mild spiciness to it if you are sensitive. - Spaghetti Carbonara - pancetta, parmesan, egg, pecorino. The server mixed the egg in throughout the pasta which gave it an overall creamy sauce texture. Dessert: - Tiramisu. This is the only thing we tried that I wouldn't recommend. This dish needs a lot of work. Didn't taste like a proper tiramisu.

Quiora is the Italian restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki. The half of the seating area is alfresco, and the services are superb and attentive. The menu choice is still limited. For example, they have no pizza. Also, I felt that as an Asian, the food uses a bit more oil for cooking than desired, but this could be just a personal preference. Generally speaking, the restaurant is excellent and offers elegant dining options in Waikiki.

The best part is the Fireworks 💥 Strong recommend to visit this place for Friday dinner. Otherwise daytime may work better. All it’s service team members are very nice. Overall taste good. The Holiday course is not as great as we thought.

Very pretty roof top bar and restaurant, located near the family pool at the Ritz. We had a marathon celebration drink at the bar. The presentation was gorgeous, the taste was a little different, not as good as, the ones we had the previous day and they are a little pricey. Very chill vibe. The staff were nice and helpful. The food looked and smelt great, but we did not try anything from the food menu this evening.

The entrees were small but tasty! It's more gourmet style and presented nicely. Prices are on the high end side. The seating is outdoors and the view is gorgeous. Customer service is outstanding! And only valet parking is available.

Food was good , service was good . Are waiter was friendly and explained the items on the menu. Food presentation was also good .Good portions of food too. They even had live singer playing . The only thing that we had issue was that it looked dirty and not nice for it to be the Ritz. The management need more attention to detail like not placing silverware on dirty table and the seat were stained .

S
Sonja Broze

I would say it's 3 stars for food, 4 for atmosphere and 5 for service so depending on what you are looking for know that you can get a varied experience. The best part of the meal was the beginning and end. We had the prawn appetizer and they gave us a tiramisu to make up for the overly al dente pasta and half medium + half just under medium rare cooked steak (very odd). Overall the food was nice but we just felt nothing stood out for those prices and probably won't return with the current menu.

Our recent dinner at Quiora in the Ritz-Carlton fell short of the high expectations. While the service was attentive and the ambiance hi-end, the food delivered only what I would expect from mediocre restaurants - at a close to premium cost. We chose the Wagyu ribeye ($85) and lamb pappardelle ($50), along with a side of Crispy Pee Wee potatoes ($18)—the potatoes never arrived (taken off of bill). Both mains suffered from a lack of seasoning; we had to request salt from our server. The ribeye raised serious doubts about its claimed Wagyu or ribeye. It lacked the marbling and deckle cap expected of a true ribeye, appearing less marbled than a standard supermarket cut (photos attached for reference). Texturally, it was disappointingly tough rather than the juicy, unctuous experience one anticipates from a wagyu. For $85, even if it were genuine Wagyu, this would represent a low-grade example at best. The handmade pappardelle showed promise but failed in execution. The noodles arrived clumped and sticky, requiring manual separation. Maybe in the attached video you may noticed that the sauce was not coated evenly. Where the sauce did adhere, its texture was pleasant, and the lamb itself was tender. However, the overall flavor profile remained bland and under-seasoned. For Quiora we had hi expectations, although we did enjoy thoughtful service, a refined atmosphere, and clear technical skill in pasta-making, we felt that at these price points, the food was “meh”. As it stands, our first and maybe only experience at Quiora was a miss.

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for my 40th birthday and hosted a dinner for ten friends at Quiora. To start with the positives: our server, Kennedy, was wonderful. He was warm, attentive, and offered great recommendations for the table. We especially enjoyed the arancini, ahi dip, uni pasta, and horchata trifle. Those were standouts. A few friends who ordered the pappardelle felt it could have used more seasoning, but overall the food was solid. However, there were several aspects that were frustrating. I don’t mind paying higher prices at a luxury property, but I was surprised by the extra fees that appeared on our bill. For example, there was a $6 “martini upcharge” added to each $16 martini. Since we ordered several, it would have been helpful to be informed of this beforehand. We were also charged $6 each for sides of sauce and Parmesan cheese, which felt excessive. Ultimately, the total came out to over $150 per person, and the value didn’t match that price point. We also encountered issues prior to our reservation. We originally booked for nine guests and asked to add one more when a friend flew in to surprise me. The restaurant told us that increasing the party size meant we would need to submit everyone’s orders in advance. I didn’t want to ask my guests to do that, especially for just one additional person. The back-and-forth over this became more frustrating than it needed to be, and honestly made me regret choosing the restaurant. Had I not put down a deposit I would have tried to change the venue at this point. When we arrived, the staff still seemed flustered that our party size had changed, which didn’t create a welcoming atmosphere. For the level of pricing and the setting, I expected a more accommodating and seamless experience. A simple “We’ll take care of that for you” would have gone a long way.

We went to Quiora at the Ritz for Mother’s Day brunch. I think my son in law did a great job making this reservation for us. The food did not taste bad it was good but nothing that Wow’d us. The first you notice is the place looked like a pop up buffet. Like they converted a conference room to be a make shift buffet. And for the price, and being the Ritz you would expect a wider variety of food choices. I could say more but you get the idea. I would say that for the Ritz, they fell short. This would have been a cheaper, nice regular buffet but not for the Ritz. Oh and we asked for coffee after our meal and it was barely warm. I should have asked for a glass of ice to pour it in to make iced coffee!

M
Mira Serrill-Robins

I tried it for a late lunch, and I went with the chicken farm sandwich with a side salad. It’s pricy but I figured lunch would be more reasonable. It was an expensive chicken parm but not beyond what’s expected in Waikiki at the Ritz, and the view was worth something. It was quiet and easy to get a table, and in fact a whole section, for a late lunch on a random weekday. The service was unsurprisingly excellent. The chicken park was fine, more breading than chicken, nice brioche bun, but the chicken was a bit dry and d just not the best ever. I think the menu said there was arugula in it, which is fine, but it came with romaine and maybe other random salad greens. The side salad was nice with a tasty vinaigrette. I needed to sit somewhere for a bit and this worked fine, but I probably wouldn’t do it frequently. It’s a nice view over Fort DeRussy and there was a gentle breeze most of the time at this height.

The food was good with a nice view. We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary while on vacation but was a little disappointed that we did not get any special treat for having to celebrate a special occasion. What's the point of asking if we're celebrating anything if it will be disregard anyway.

G
Gr3n4d3

Bit snooty for ordering most of their products from Sysco. Would’ve thought being a Marriot chain they’d have traditional Italian food but it’s definitely all fusion. That being said the salad and dessert wasn’t bad. Cheesecake was fire and the arugula/ dressing was all fresh and crisp

I appreciate the customer service response from this review. We went for restaurant week and got the wine pairing and non alcoholic drink pairing as well. The main dishes were mediocre at best. We went on a pretty rainy and windy night, so I can’t knock them too much for the atmosphere, since it’s outdoor dining. However, there was odd music choice. It was weird clubbing music, which just didn’t match the vibe. On to the food. We tried all the pastas on the restaurant week menu. The clam pasta was so salty and the other two were so bland! The salad and the earl grey tiramisu were honestly the best parts of the meal. The alcoholic drink pairings were fine, but our waiter didn’t even tell us what kind of wine or any information on the wine itself. He just sat it down and walked away. Same with the non alcoholic drinks. He kind of mumbled something for the first drink and just walked away after setting down the last two. The second juice was so sour it was like they squeezed all the lemons in the world in that glass. Finally my last drink was a coffee, but I have no idea if it was caffeinated or not. Service was not great. One waiter explained the food, but if it was our main server, he didn’t. It was hard to flag someone down to ask questions as well. Overall, would not go back, would not take leftovers (but we did and tried to add more flavor it them), and would not recommend. No pictures were taken, I just wanted to leave. Oh and the bill was expensive for such a junk time.

Excellent waitstaff and service. Great view. But sadly a meal with many, many missteps and just amateur mistakes. We won't be back. Started with cocktails. Aloha Made was a nice, clarified tiki drink. Very enjoyable. However Your Lips Taste Like Sangria tasted like classic 1960s Hawaiian Punch. It wasn’t clear that there was any alcohol in there, likely because it was so sweet. The wine list online is not the wine list available. We had a fairly nice Sicilian red and a good glass of Pinot Grigio. Moved on to a Caesar salad, which was generally good. The grilled lettuce didn’t taste of smoke-grill, but was warm. The creamy dressing was tasty, but didn’t have anchovy character. The croutons were miserable and we left them uneaten. Mains continued to disappoint. Hokkaido Uni and Crab Spaghetti was the best dish of the evening, but still had numerous problems. It just wasn’t a balanced dish and so halfway through we were done with that flavor. Also, finding a lemon pip in the pasta is just… I mean, that’s cooking 101. Use a sieve to keep the inedible stuff out of your final dish. Meanwhile, the Big Island Oxtail Pappardelle was a shockingly terrible dish. The pasta was so thin that it lost all bite and was just shreds stuck together. The oxtails were beef-rich as you would expect, but I would NOT expect there to be bits of bone and many bites of gristle and gelled fat. The tomatoes really should have been peeled. Very little pistachio. Good mushrooms though. Finished off with an old-school Grasshopper and watched the sunset. Best part of the evening. If our server hadn’t comped the oxtail dish, we would have spent $350 for a very disappointing meal. Another thing to consider, up until the sun went down behind the buildings it was terribly bright and hot. We wore our sunglasses and were okay, but it wasn’t fun.

Had such a disappointing experience here. I have never felt the need to leave a bad review after a meal but we were so disappointed with our experience at Quiora, I felt it necessary to share. On holiday from the UK celebrating my mother’s birthday and thought I’d book the restaurant at the Ritz Carlton expecting a luxury experience. I requested a table with a good view and we were given it but that was the only good thing really. We found service really slow- the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but had to wait quite some time before being seated. Ordered an orange gin and lemonade and the server didn’t know if they sold orange gin. At that I said “no problem, if there is no orange gin, I will just have a Diet Coke”. 20 minutes later the server returned saying that there was no orange gin, did I still want Diet Coke instead- “yes please”. Another 10 minutes passed where finally I asked another server if my drink was coming at any point. It was a Diet Coke, nothing difficult. We skipped starters but ordered main meals with 3 sides. 2 of the sides came out 5-10 minutes after our meals had been brought out (again after asking). The third side dish came out when we had finished our meals. The point of a side dish is to eat it alongside your meal. The third dish came out so late we sent it back as we had finished our meals. Finally, we became aware from listening to another table who sat down as we were finishing up, that there was a 5 course chefs tasting menu with wine pairing available. We hadn’t been made aware of that when we sat down and when we asked the server if that was correct, he said “sorry would you like to see the tasting menu now?” Well no, because we have just finished our meals. The food was ok but in no way made up for the service. We have had some wonderful meals whilst we have been in Honolulu but this was shockingly bad. Add that it was almost $300 for this meal which consisted of 2 mains, 2 sides, two diet cokes, a glass of wine and 1 cocktail. This restaurant is ridiculously overpriced with a dreadful service. Avoid!
