JUST left the show, my impressions: 1. The venue itself is intimate; two rows of tables. There is no “hiding” and the show is very interactive. To my wife and I this was a positive, just understand you may be asked to participate (but Spencer is very respectful if you don’t want to). Great views of the whole show, sound & sightlines are non-issues. 2. The show is excellent! It is impressive in terms of the tricks/illusions, but also very funny as well. The pacing is good and the content is timeless. 3. The drinks! Two drink tickets are included (as of 1/3/26) and are good for ANY drink on the menu! Cocktails, wine, beer, mocktails, all of it. The drinks are delicious and they DON’T skimp on the alcohol. Honestly one of the best ways to spend an evening!

We had the most amazing time and drinks at the show! I know it may seem like a lot of money to spend, but worth every penny to experience this! Spencer does an incredible unique experience and really interacts/includes the audience. One of the best things we’ve ever done when visiting our adult children in Baltimore.

My best friend and her husband invited me along to a show. I'm very skeptical of magicians because they typically don't impress me, and I'm aware of the usual tricks. I was left speechless by the magic performed. But it wasn't just about the magic. The warm greeting upon entering really made me feel as if I had known the hosts all along. The show was completely immersion and everyone got to be involved. Spencer could perform just comedy and do just fine. I laughed so much and was just beyond impressed with the show from start to finish. By the end of the show, the whole audience felt like we were all long time friends. Nicole made delicious and strong drinks. She was very attentive and also played off of Spencer perfectly. I cannot say enough about the show and the hosts. If you are able, this is a must see experience!!! I will definitely be back again!

My partner and I had a great time at Illusions for a date night. The performance was very well constructed from beginning to end. The tricks were fun, and you can expect to be included (lots of audience participation). The drinks were fantastic, and it's amazing to think the whole thing is put together by just two people, Spencer (the magician) and Nicole (bartending/assisting etc.). There was humor, wonder, and engagement. Strongly recommend for a date night or a fun night out with friends. I'll for sure be going back.

I googled "places to go for your birthday as an adult in Baltimore" and this place popped up. I didn't know what to expect but we had the MOST amazing time. Spencer was incredibly entertaining, the venue was awesome, and the cocktails were phenomenal. Really a special evening, well worth the price and I will definitely be back.

We had such an INCREDIBLE time!! I didn’t know what to expect as this is my first time attending a magic show as an adult. Spencer really puts on an amazing show. Wow! What a great show. We've been twice and it never fails to amaze us. The first time I went was with a group of friends and I was a little skeptical. Spencer blew us away. His energy and passion to entertain pull you in. It is a fully interactive and immersive performance. The venue is intimate and just a cool place to attend a performance. Because they have a small venue, you really get to interact with the other audience members. We took our adult children back with some friends to experience the show and I was still amazed. The kids had a blast as well. It is a definite gem in the Baltimore entertainment scene.

Enjoyed another phenomenal show by our Federal Hill neighborhood’s ‘teenie Houdini’ SUPER talented magician Spencer Horsman 🃏🪄🔮 The show was incredibly entertaining as always, if you haven’t been I highly recommend - totally worth the $ for the illusions and his comedic performance! Everyone participates in some way, as it is an intimate size audience, and many of the tricks are ‘mind-reading’ and mind-blowing!! 🤯 I’ve been to numerous shows over the years (including my bachelorette party) and each time I’m more amazed as the tricks/illusions get more fantastical 😮

This was such a fun and unique experience. Went with a group and we all had the best time. The bar is cozy and has such a fun vibe. Spencer was hilarious and his show was amazing, we couldn’t stop talking about it after we left. Nicole busted her butt taking care of everyone and making delicious drinks. Totally worth going, we look forward to coming back. If I could give it more stars, I would.

My husband and I have been twice to Illusions now and absolutely plan on going back again. Always such good entertainment, surprise, and amazing drinks!! Not only does Spencer create an incredibly immersive show, but he also pulls off some pretty mind blowing tricks! During the show, Nicole runs the bar and makes the best drinks in the city, hands down. The ambiance that they’ve created in the space is such a unique experience in and of itself. Highly highly suggest 👍

We had a private party of about 50-60 people and Spencer and Nicole did not disappoint. We had great communication leading up to our event and even better service upon arrival. The location was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our event. Nicole was even nice enough to forward several catering options and to help our event be the best. Spencer was beyond fantastic as a performer. This was not your ordinary magic show, this had everyone on the edge of their seats in excitement and laughter. I can honestly say that I have not laughed this hard in so long. If you get a chance to catch a show or book an event, I highly recommend Illusions Bar and Theatre.

Your not so typical magic show. Amazingly entertaining and definitely worth the price of admission. The two free drink tickets is the icing on the cake. Spencer is an amazing illusionist and every trick he did left you wondering how?! His background story is an awesome one as well. Definitely attend to know about him, his family and his passion of communicating with magic. Also, and probably the most important part of the show, YOU will be part of the spectacle in some type of way, so prepare to be the magician's assistant! The cocktails are classic and delicious. There is something for everyone, whether you are drinking alcohol or not. There is no food, but you are welcome to bring your own during the pre-show. I definitely will be attending again and bring more people to enjoy this amazing show.

This show was everything we needed and more. Spencer encourages audience participation which makes the experience unique. We were laughing with people we may never see again. Two drinks prepared by our awesome bartender Nicole, came with each ticket purchase. If you haven't checked this show out....hurry to get your tickets before they sell out. 🎩
