A great place to eat. I was served by a very nice young woman named Bianka. She was very helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed the service and the food was delicious. I recommend it 100%
I really enjoyed my dinner with my friends last night. We were amazed that they had unlimited pancakes. We we at an odd time by 5 or so. The host accommodated us right away and our food arrived quickly. The food was as expected and tasted awsome. I really was not sure how it's going to be when I saw some feedbacks. But I and my friends really enjoyed. I don't remember the server , she was short and timid. Thanks to all for the wonderful experience.
This Location they were fast , polite and every employee worked together to satisfy customers, the manager was very active and made sure i was satisfied before departing answered every question about Ramadan promptly and respectful. Great Job that place was overly crowded on national pancake day !!
Came down for dinner last nite for the promo of bottomless pancakes, the food was quick and nice clean place, we came here to have a contest and we did really enjoy the meal and we were getting quick refills and had a blast. Definitely visiting again soon.
IHOP was a place that became a hangout spot for the family for many years. I visited this place in Philly 3x already and have not been disappointed. Good atmosphere, fast service, and great food. Put me in a reminiscent zone. I live 11/2 hour away. But whenever I am close, I will make it a point to be there.
Strawberry banana pancakes AMAZING! They came out quick and hot with all the extra good stuff as requested! They were also open later then all the other IHOPS on Christmas eve! We had to drive from northeast Philadelphia into central Philadelphia but was well worth it!!!
We love IHOP! My husband and I visited here for breakfast one morning on our recent pre Christmas trip from the UK. We were greeted and seated by a very happy young man who joked why hadn't we bought him some Tanqueray Gin 😂 I wish I'd taken his name. Our even younger server (Shamir?) was very attentive and polite and we didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive. It could've been a bit hotter but we enjoyed it nonetheless. If we're ever back in Philly we'll definitely visit again! Thank you IHOP 😊

This IHOP location opens till late hours and it has very big advantage after many diners closed around center city area. Recently I gave another chance this location after terrible experience about two years ago. I dined in two times this week and they improved their food very well. I ordered spinach&mushroom omelette with 3 pancakes and grilled salmon with 2 sides. Everything was fantastically delicious and I really enjoyed my food this time. Especially salmon was very tender and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Unfortunately they don’t have enough employees and waiting time is very annoying. I don’t like to say that but the service was not good enough. They lock the doors and except just customers for making patrons comfortable when they dine in after certain time. The security lady is just phenomenal. She is very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and organized on the other hand the restroom wasn’t very clean. I hope they will find more employees soon.
A Metropolitan five guys, keep your expectations in check. The seating is limited, the service is slow, my diet code had zero flavor. But, the burger was good.

I expected it to be busy being the only thing open at 2am, and the employees handled the crowd without getting frustrated...but the games 🤦🏾♀️ After waiting 15 minutes for our waiter to take the order, he comes back 10 minutes later with no drinks talking about pay right now with 18% gratuity. If he didn't just make that up, it would have been communicated at the door, and it would have been the case for all the tables. Kid just wanted to see what he could get away with I guess 🤷🏾♀️ He forgot to try it on the table that sat behind us who was begging to pay and leave AFTER they ate. I love IHOP for their Belgian waffles. However, this ihop is trying to cut cost by using half the batter and gave me a waffle that wasn't even an inch tall. Looks like my sister's pancake 😒
Steak tips with mushrooms and onions was fantastic, even though they were cooked more than I'd liked. Sausage was also good. Every other part of the order was either written incorrectly or just... bad. Saw some black spots on the broccoli and my waitress said that that's normal. If you order the mac and cheese, be ready to get the stuff out of the box. Waitress also misheard my partner on multiple parts of his order, even though she'd clarified with him (he got the wrong kind of pancakes and the wrong kind of eggs). Every time she passed by our table (maybe seven or eight times overall), she asked if everything was alright. Felt a bit excessive, but that could just be standard practice for IHOP. If you go here, make sure you're very clear about what you're ordering, and stick to breakfast. Waitress did give us some extra paper when she saw us playing hangman though, which was nice. :)
They closed 20 minutes early... employees did not care at all. Please post accurate times
Refused to serve us unless we waited 3 HOURS, even though we had money. Worst five guys experience.

Ordered hamburger with 6 toppings and received zero. It was just a burger patty between two buns. The patty tasted terrible. I couldn't bite into it as it was solid as a hockey puck. Not worth 12…
Love 5 guys but this one was terrible. Burgers borderline burnt, ordered large fries and got what's maybe a small back home. No utensils or napkins in bag after requesting them.

This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and the service at IHOP on Walnut St. was absolutely embarrassing. Our server was completely inattentive and acted like taking care of customers was the last thing she wanted to do. It took over 15 minutes just to take our order, and then more than 30 minutes for the food to come out, even though the restaurant was clearly not busy. What made it worse was that she basically disappeared after that. We had to ask other servers for basic things like boxes and a bag, and they all had equally nasty attitudes as if helping customers was an inconvenience. Meanwhile, our actual server barely came to the table and seemed determined to avoid doing her job. By the time we finished eating, it was obvious we were ready to leave, yet she still dragged her feet bringing the check. It honestly felt like she was deliberately ignoring us. The entire staff came across as rude, unprofessional, and completely uninterested in providing even basic service. If this is the level of service IHOP on Walnut St. thinks is acceptable, management seriously needs to take a look at what’s going on. I’ve had better service at places that were actually busy. This experience was a complete waste of time and easily one of the worst restaurant visits I’ve had.
Went to the ihop on Olden & Parkway in Trenton this morning. The server sucked. She was lazy with an attitude and there was only a total of 4 people in our group. She only worked one side of the table, that’s with taking and delivering the food. The table is only so big. She asked us to pass the food and drinks (yes) even coffee to the person who ordered it. She got orders wrong and when it came time to pay the check, she did not give me the correct change back. She only have me bills back without the change and started doing someone’s else bill. When I questioned her, she stated she didn’t have change and asked another worker for it. I don’t care if my change was a penny, she was not told she could keep the change. The ONLY reason she got a tip Is because they built it into the bill. I see why their parking lot is mostly empty everyday I ride pass it. The service sucks. Customers should not be aware that a server has an attitude. Don’t have to worry about me returning there.
Just rating service in store regarding take out. Delay in order process. Called gave order then called back to say who was picking it up. They said they had no record of order. I had to re-order. I was on phone and person picking it up already arrived. They then had to wait.
We stood in the front for 20 minutes being ignored by the lady in the front before finally being seated. They gave me a dirty coffee canister. The sauces on the table was covered in some sticky substance. The entire table was wet when we were seated.I tried to order an ice coffee but they told me that they didn't have ice coffee. Only ice and coffee... Then they charged me extra for something that was doubled by the server. The food was burnt and my French toast was wet with uncooked eggs. Then I was somehow charged $80+ for a kids meal and one regular adult meal.
Please beware ordering from this location i DoorDash food and my entire order was wrong. The worst part DoorDash can’t even refund me fully. My food had a cigarette taste I’m not even a smoker and I’m almost threw up I’m going to have this location reported asap because this is unacceptable.
BOOOOOOOOO!!!! Taking this home to feed to my dogs! The eggs taste like water! The bacon taste like plastic. The sausage is good to a fat man. The ham taste like spam. I didn’t ask for hash browns but I got em. They weren’t that bad tho. The pancakes came from a doll cooking set. The French toast was bomb tho. The turkey sausage was good too 1% satisfied. (On the bright side, the employees were great!)
The service was ok, but the food was cold. Like, "refrigerator cold." We asked to speak the manager. She eventually sent the head server over and when we asked again to speak to the manager, she came over. The manager then engaged in intellectual gymnastics in an attempt to blame the cold food on a late supply truck. How that would affect the food temperature makes no sense unless they are heating the food on the truck's engine block. The servers were nice.
Food was good no complaints, but as for the service i had a Spanish girl who barley spoke a bit of english so i believe the manager came and stepped in but he was barely any help because he was just trying to go sit back down with another Spanish girl im unsure if he is a manager or was just someone trying to help because he didn’t have an ihop shirt on or anything & he also moved as if he barely knew what he was doing… i asked for a manager expecting a face i would recognize because i frequently come here but he was who i got so i am guessing new management idk if this place gets any worse with service i will have to change to the breakfast restaurant next door i know its smaller but i gained a headache just ordering my food 😓
⭐ One Star – Prepaid Dine-In w/ Mandatory 20% Gratuity Before Service? Absolutely Not. As a Philadelphia native, I was excited to revisit Center City and support a familiar staple like IHOP during a late-night stay downtown. After a post-workout run with my dog, I was looking for a quick, warm meal. Unfortunately, this IHOP delivered one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve encountered in years — and I never even placed an order. Despite reading a wave of negative reviews (many with unappetizing food photos), I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I stood next door in a convenience store debating whether to grab a can of tuna or take a chance. Regrettably, I chose the latter. When I entered, the restaurant was nearly empty — only one couple finishing their meal. The security guard asked if I was dining in. I said yes, and he said someone would be with me shortly. A woman, presumably the hostess or server, stood just a few feet away laughing with a friend. No greeting. No acknowledgment. After a few minutes, she finally walked to the counter, still without a smile or welcome, and abruptly informed me: “Just so you know, it’s prepay with an automatic 20% gratuity.” No explanation. No eye contact. No opportunity to experience the service before being told to tip. At that moment, I politely thanked her and left. I refuse to support an establishment that requires a tip before any service has been rendered, especially at 1 AM with zero crowd or demand. Tips are earned, not demanded. I understand the challenges of late-night business in a city like Philly. Walkouts happen. But that’s what security is for. If you’re that concerned, hire off-duty police or establish a policy that actually aligns with quality customer service — not blanket penalties on every guest. And for the record, I was alone, well-dressed, polite, and respectful — clearly not stumbling in from a club or looking to cause trouble. Your policy not only felt presumptuous, but discriminatory and lazy in its application. IHOP corporate, take note: This is not hospitality. It’s hustle. The reviews don’t lie, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed every red flag.
If you’re reading this, please don’t waste your time here. Came in at 12:20am. Literally the only two people in the restaurant. Whoever came up front told us there’s an automatic tip and sat is promptly. But we were seated for 10+ minutes without anyone ever coming to offer drinks or take our order. We could hear multiple people in the kitchen laughing, but obviously nobody cares about anything at this location. We should’ve left once we saw all the food debris on the floor when we walked in. Now I see why we were told there’s a mandatory tip. They don’t have to provide you with any actual service if they don’t want to because they know it’s mandatory. We left and spent our hard-earned money somewhere else and I advise you to do the same. Edit: I received a call from the store (2 weeks later) who accused me of lying. Said it was just a misunderstanding on MY part. She also said that it was “busy” when I tried to eat there. I am NOT mistaken and I remembered exactly what happened. Multiple people wouldn’t leave similar reviews if I was an outlier. Then offered me 20% off my next meal. What a joke.
I wish I didn't have to leave a star at all. On 7/26/25 this is what hwappened;; when you look at the pic, you'll see presentation is everything my food came out looking like this, see picture below, and no I did not eat it and no I did not have a bite no I did not scramble it. This is supposed to be a veggie omelet. The cook sent this out looking like this, IHOP, do better. The only plus was the handsome server who kept apologizing on behalf of IHOP, on behalf of that cook kudos to that young man. But it was not his fault.
I ordered avocado toast for takeout expecting basically what I see on the website and my disappointment when I get home to open the order. I got 3 thin slices of avocado not even smashed like it shows and basically the whole piece of bread is like majority empty. The avocado had black streaks, and the bread wasn’t even toasted. It was such a sad meal, pls look at the pic I included. This is my first time ordering at this location and this specific item (I’m vegan so not many options regardless) my friends also ordered they said they had utensils in the bag and they didn’t so overall bad service the food terrible.
