How did I miss such a beautiful spot? I live in the neighborhood and always walk by this cafe. I'm glad I came today and gave it a try. Very bohemian, calm, and with good vibes. The matcha was delicious and I'll be trying their food as well.

Cute spot with friendly people that work there. I’ve been a few times, and had a few different gluten free dishes and desserts. A few reviews have commented on the prices, but I honestly think it’s cheaper than some of the other places in the area, and much higher quality. My partner has also purchased some pots here for our plans, and they look great. I’m happy to support this neighborhood spot! There is also a cute backyard, but (as with most of brooklyn) it can be buggy depending on the time of day.

Where can you purchase coffee, vegan food and plants all at the same time, right here at The Planted Cafe. They have beautiful plants throughout the business. The decor is beautiful and inviting. There is comfortable seating in the back and plenty of outdoor seating. Beau was very helpful and friendly. My matcha latte was absolutely delicious and the banana chocolate muffin as well. They are currently having a plant sale which will take 20% off your purchase. I enjoyed my visit to Planted.

First off I want to say how beautiful the entrance is. There are lovely plants sitting neatly in front of and throughout the store. It’s a family owned business and it is the cutest place ever. I had the cashew ricotta toast and the spring rolls. I also got a brownie and a can of blueberry kombucha. Everything was so delicious. I loved the peanut tahini sauce that came with the rolls (I added some to the toast). I wanted to buy everything in the store!! They sell everything vegan and everything plants! Definitely will be back.

This place RULES. I needed somewhere to work and this place has a lot of space, seating areas, and most importantly outlets. I got the superfood latte and it was bomb. Looks like they have a huge variety of interesting drinks. I walked to multiple cafes today and this was the only one that saved me. I’m so happy I came here On top of all that, it is ridiculously beautiful inside. Potted plants everywhere

Lovely cozy cafe with delicious food! So many cafes have food as an afterthought but there is clearly someone who knows what they're doing in the kitchen here! We were very impressed with both the rancheros and the tortilla soup. Idk how they make the cashew cheese but it's amazing! We thought the prices for portions were quite fair, especially considering it's all made in house. The space is very lovely and we appreciated that they have specific tables for laptop workers and tables reserved just for diners. Everyone can be happy! There's even a kids space in the back with toys and things to play with. Everyone on staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and we'll certainly be back.

This is a great, unique little spot in the neighborhood. Only place I know in the neighborhood that has fresh Kombucha on tap which they also sell in growlers (love that!). They also have a great selection of CBD products, good coffee and a very cute ambience with a cool little backyard. Everyone who works at Planted is also very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Weirdest experience ever when I tried this place out on a Friday morning.. Super odd vibe here ..the guy that rang me up seemed super annoyed with me from the moment I walked in and even more so when I started to order lol I barely asked any questions and the place wasn’t even busy, but it felt like he thought I was someone he knew or didn’t like or something 😅 it literally gave that kinda energy . It was my first time there, so the whole thing was just confusing. His unfriendliness just made it seem like he didn’t want to serve me at all. I ordered a latte and a slice of pecan pie both were okay, super pricey . Def sticking with Nil or Hungry Ghost down the street next time. The space itself is actually beautiful -plants everywhere, chill vibe, nice decor, and peaceful and quiet - feels like a nice little getaway from the city (minus the attitude given lol) That’s what drew me in to begin with since I’m always walking by when I babysit in the area. But after that interaction… I kinda get why the rating’s low. Just a reminder for me to stick what I know is good and always delivers

The Greatful Project

Planted clearly has something to offer compared to other neighborhood restos: it's vegan and the dishes I tried were good. However, since the last 2 times I went (July), two things seem to happen: 1) what i wanted was suddenly not available (hence need to order something else) and / next visit, order did not come as it was like my friend's and 2) for both visits I waited 30+ minutes for the order to process despite having no one else before me. I really wd love to come back but service is awful. Is it because i did not tip? (I have grown weary of forced tips for order pick-up). But then again they probably don't need my opinion.

i love the atmosphere and all the plants but most of the drinks are related to south asians ingredients and the worker is white, feel like them stealing the culture from another group. also the drinks tastes absolutely horrible.

egg sandwich was overpriced, dry and salty. my friend with a severe nut allergy was told that the the Mexican breakfast bowl had no nuts and had to be rushed to the ER because it contained nuts. If your establishment caters people who have dietary restrictions you must be informed on allergen safety

Not sure why make your establishment 100% gluten free if your staff aren’t trained on allergen safety. Both the barista and chef gave me false assurances about whether ingredients were cross-contact safe. Service was also incredibly slow and staff had a rude attitude when we asked about the status of our order after waiting 30 minutes for a salad and smoothie while other customers were served before us. It’s a shame because my options are so limited for gluten-free and allergen safe establishments.
