Avis sur Nili Brooklyn
I don't know how, but the drip coffee that is brewed in Nili is easily the best I have had in the city. They use Partners, which I have brewed myself and had at other cafes, but there is something about their brew ratio that is just perfect. The coffee is always delicious and shows off the flavor notes of each roast they brew. Plus it is only $2.50 for a 12 oz. and $3 for 16 oz. which is some of the most affordable in the neighborhood. The couple of times I have had an espresso drink here, the espresso has been well dialed in and just spectacular. Then there is the food!! The pre-prepared sandwiches and hot, made to order sandwiches are amazing and full of flavor. Have I said flavor enough times in this review? I don't think so. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. They have ample outdoor seating!
Legitimately delicious and inventive. Love the bowls with the stuff- esp the cabbage and the pickles. Tried the chicken and the falafel and were blown away. They’re also excellent with delivery. Only wish would be the ability to add falafel a la carte via online ordering- rather than buying a whole extra bowl. The option doesn’t exist in Caviar/Grubhub.
Lovely new counter-service cafe where milk bar used to be. The drink list is expansive as is the outdoor seating area. The bacon egg + cheese on pita was delightful with thick-cut maple bacon and fluffy eggs. Salmon toast is perfection with a shmear of greek yogurt, capers, dill and onions. Really great for a grab n go brunch if you don't have the time to wait an hour to get a table elsewhere.
The service is friendly and the food is so good! Their pita bread is homemade or tastes like it. And everything is just yum
There are many great coffee spots in the area but these guys take first place. The coffee is on point, pastries and sandwiches are so good, and the fresh sourdough and country bread is legit. Baristas and staff members bring good vibes every day, too!
Finally a non-italian joint joins the neighborhood. The best hummus I've had, along with all kinds of other delicious and healthy options. Warm pita bread and various sandwiches are all outstanding. Espresso drinks also good. Welcome to the neighborhood.
Can’t really go wrong with anything here. My first visit I was recommended the Chicken Schwarma sandwich, which did not disappoint. Next visit I tried their Bacon Egg and Cheese (served in a pita!) and I have to say it’s probably the best I’ve had. Great selection of tea/coffee and friendly staff too. 10/10.
Delicious. Great spot, seems like a cozy, community oriented space. Tiny inside but plenty of seating outside. Bacon egg cheese plus mushrooms was decadent, filling, flavorful, perfect for a brunch meal. Will be back !
My coworker had been speaking highly of this cafe in her neighborhood for weeks, and today brought in a selection of treats for us to sample today. It lived up to the hype! We had a vegan carrot muffin, chocolate olive oil cake, matcha brownie, sabich sandwich, chicken salad sandwich which was made on the fly for her. The sandwiches held up great when we had them for lunch, and the sabich sandwich was an awesome and flavorful vegetarian option. The carrot muffin was my favorite pastry, it wasn’t overly sweet and would definitely be a filling grab and go breakfast choice. The matcha brownie was creamy and delicious. It was all so tasty we forgot to take any pictures until it was almost gone! According to my coworker the barista was awesome, and her husband loves the lattes there. I’ll definitely be making a stop to check the place out in person the next time I’m in the neighborhood!
Five stars for the sabich one. I often dream of the Sabichs I had in Israel, and this more than fulfills the craving. Sure, the strips of eggplant aren’t as thin and crispy as in Israel, but it’s still great. Plus because my work is really close, I get a shot of espresso from here about half of the week, and it’s more of the better tasting ones in Brooklyn.
My favorite place in the city! I love the food and everyone who works there so much. A neighborhood staple, great for takeout or casual dine in. My fave place to grab a coffee w a friend and sit for as long as we want in a sunny place with the nicest people
Nili is my favorite place to grab a coffee on my way to work, and has the absolute BEST bacon, egg, and cheese in the neighborhood. The staff are always so sweet and friendly, and they’re always playing great music to boot!
A little gem right outside the subway station! The coffee was fantastic, and the pita breakfast sandwiches were amazing with just the right portions, The staff is very friendly and attentive. The background music set a relaxing vibe that truly added to the experience.
We had the falafel hummus bowl and an iced tea and loved it. The hummus was so delicious, one of the best that I’ve ever had. The pita was so soft and filling. And the falafel was quite good. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area
Their sweet potato hummus has redefined my hummus expectations. The warm, earthy sweetness of the sweet potato is perfectly balanced with the classic hummus notes, resulting in a dip that's both comforting and exciting. I can't get enough!
Bright, high ceilings, lovely plants, great music, kind chill people, AND really really good quality food and coffee. We got the mushroom egg and cheese pita. A portion easy to split or fuel you through the rest of the day! Ingredients so fresh! Macadamia Nut milk option yes please and thank you!
I enjoyed the BLT on pita bread, and pastry is delicious. But the highlight is the customer services. Very professional, friendly, and engaging. The place is small and cozy. During the summertime 5-7pm, a live band plays music and sings, which sounds awesome. MUST VISIT.
Had brunch with family and it was delicious!!! I love that they have both indoor outdoor dining area! And they have plenty of seatings. We did the outdoor because the weather was good. The latte I had was good too! I enjoyed their mushroom, egg & cheese pita a lot! It’s like a sandwich! It was like a self-serve place that you need to clean up your table after finishing your meal. There’s one thing I noticed and very appreciated was they use everything bio-degradable, such as the straws! They plate, bowl they offered were not one time use, I truly admired that and supported these contribution! Will visit again!
Found this spot while walking around to find vegetarian spot (after came to realize Ugly baby we aimed to dine in has no vegetarian options) Honestly the yummiest Mediterranean spot we have tried in NYC so far. We had hummus bowls with extra mushrooms and the grain bowl with eggplant that were terrific. The pita bread was the best in town, it was super soft and spongy. We took away the babaganoush with pita home and the bread was still so delicious in the morning. Though it was mostly self serve but the staffs were very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back here again
Obsessed with their chicken shawarma bowl! The harissa and mango sauces they have are a must! Pita bread is served warm and fresh.
This place was recommended by a friend, and it also sits right next to the Carroll st. stop on the F & G lines, so I pass by it all the time. Finally went in a got a Chicken Shawarma Hummus bowl, which was excellent. Food was good, space is very nice, staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and all smiling (but not in that weird zombie way lol). The vibes were great. Great place to take out or eat in. (Didn’t get photos of my food because I downed it so fast!)
I have been here twice now and this place is an amazing addition to the neighborhood which lives up to Miss Ada’s sterling reputation. These sandwiches were amazing, the coffee excellent and the pastries were great. In my opinion, based on the food I ordered here is the rank of tastiness 1. Bacon egg sandwich 2. Butternut squash sandwich 3. Cheese stick 4. Tuna sandwich 5. Scone.
One of the best BLTs I’ve ever had! The thick bacon, the fresh pita, pickled onions, and I think they make their own mayo? Whatever it was, it had a sweetness to it. It was perfect! And the pastries were excellent as well. I personally enjoyed the banana Nutella cake. I will definitely be back to try more!
Overall rating: 4.8 I am absolutely obsessed with this place. A friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. I wish I lived in this area, I’d be going all the time! Although I don’t think a rating matters much. This place was hustling and bustling with locals 😍😍 Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. 🤤
Alright. I rarely write reviews. However, I just had my first nibble of Nili's Sweet Potato Hummus and I think I saw God. I almost wish I didnt know it existed. It may be $8, but 1. we are in Brooklyn so what else can we expect and 2. it's worth every penny. I'll be making my way through the rest of their menu, no doubt!
Delicious middle eastern food! Best hummus I’ve had. Soft pita bread. Loved the chicken and lamb shawarma bowl.
Great espresso drinks, great snacks and food, great baked goods. Really the optimal things to offer at a busy corner. Good seating outside. Expensive, but what can you expect at a location like this!? :)
The dream neighborhood coffee shop. Excellent cold brew, top-notch egg and pita breakfast sandwiches, and the friendliest staff. Music is always on point too!

Amazing cafe. The food is stellar and it is located conveniently next to the train. We have lunch from this place every time we’re in Brooklyn. We order the cauliflower shawarma hummus bowl every time (vegan). It’s a perfect lunch portion, delicious and flavorful. Comes with cauliflower, cabbage, pickles, hummus, and warm, delicious bread. It’s a 10/10. Last visit we also tried the crispy cauliflower hummus bowl. It is also delicious! The cauliflower is deep fried and is tossed in a yummy sweet glaze. It’s spectacular but because it’s a bit more indulgent we wouldn’t get for lunch every time but is a must have if you like crispy, sweet fried cauliflower. We also tried the falafel (not vegan, has feta cheese) and it was good too. It’s pricey for a bowl (around $40 for 2 bowls) for sure but we enjoy the food every time, it’s consistent, and high quality. We will go back again and again for our usual cauliflower shawarma bowl.
Food was amazing. Their chicken shawarma on pita is so good. The lady who served my coffee was exceptionally kind and exactly who I’d like to be getting my coffee from. Shoutout to her. Great vibes
The food here is ridiculously good. Very understated place that is easy to pass on the way to the subway. Try everything, from the breakfast sandwich to the hummus bowl with falafel and chicken schwarma to the blt. Highly recommend.
It feel like a family cafe, the staff is respectful, always smiling. Their Latte is so so so good! Their pumpkin muffin? Delicious.
Great cafe vibes. The schnitzel sandwich was awesome, the Israeli salad hummus plate was also really good, but the matcha latte was terrible. Extremely clumpy, undrinkable, so I asked them to remake it which they quickly did but again it came out clumpy. I would definitely return for the food, but order a different drink.

Solid coffee, indoor and outdoor nice seating arrangements, music a bit on the loud side for taking work calls, but great ambiance for meeting other people or doing work for a few hours. Got a chicken hummus bowl. The portion size was small and there wasn't much chicken, there was some cabbage with the dish. Would not get their bowls in the future, except as a small snack
The food was very beautiful looking and quite tasty! We ordered pita breads to go with the chicken hummus bowl and they were warm and delicious. I love the sauce on the short rib grain bowl. It's nice to be able to get an attractive, healthy gluten-free meal. I did think the portions were a little small. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine. I would have liked them to have more of a selection of cold beverages since it's getting warm out. I didn't enjoy sitting on the three-legged stool because it was very wobbly on the sidewalk.
I ordered takeout from Nili by the Miss Ada Team and the food was outstanding. The falafel was one of the best I’ve ever had—flavorful, not dry, and beautifully seasoned without being heavy or greasy. Every bite had that perfect balance of texture and spice that’s hard to find elsewhere. The sides complemented the falafel perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. The drawback was the portion size. For the price, I expected a bit more food. Still, the quality and flavor were great, and the takeout packaging kept everything warm and well-presented. Even though it’s on the pricier side for the amount you get, the taste and freshness make it worth an occasional splurge.
Delicious BEC, the pita is a good touch. Coffee also really good. Only downside is the croissants/baked goods weren’t fresh so I ended up abandoning the croissant after one bite. Everything else very good though

The crispy cauliflower was delicious. The sabich sandwich was average, as was the service speed. A Sandwich, side order and with a drink was a whopping $40 and the prices is way above average.
Food is incredible, one of the best in the neighborhood! Unfortunately the service has been a let down on multiple occasions. It’s unfortunate placing a pick up order and finding that a hummus has been left out or the bowl that you ordered is instead a pita sandwich. Mistakes can certainly occur but in these cases no apology was ever received by the upfront staff. It’s disappointing because my family loves Nili but if the service continues to edge on poor we will have to rethink coming here. Please take this review seriously and try to rectify, thanks!

awesome place, but it's dirty !! grimy pastry box, tables aren't wiped down between customers, crumbs all over the floor and counters, outdoor patio smells like piss. noticed a score of 56 on their last inspection, almost 2x as many points as a C rating. i love the live music on sundays and the breakfast pitas are amazing, please get it together!! don't want to lose this place.
The Israeli salad hummus bowl was expensive, there was very little salad, and this combination just doesn’t taste good - especially not feta in a hummus. For faux Mediterranean cuisine we’ve already got Cava.
Watched the customer behind me add 2$ tip to my bill as I stepped away from the register and the cashier was complacent. Nice work team! It was only when I went back up the cashier made an excuse for the customer and said “yea, he was on a rush.” Gross
As I walked in and was standing at the counter, the people behind the bar were chatting (3 of them) and instead of pausing the conversation and taking care of the customer, they looked at me and continued their conversation. So I decided to leave without saying anything because I was in a rush. The lady behind the counter shouted “byeee” followed by laughing. Wasn’t under the impression that your cafe was a catty cafe where teenagers worked. These were grown adults, I just wanted a pick me up before I picked up my child from school. Looks popular in the morning, shame people are so nasty
This place has good hummus so I buy it home. The problem is that the small container is mostly empty. No other place does this. I always ask them to open the container and fill it up because I am not buying air. Not sure why they are so cheap on the hummus, they are charging like any other restaurant
The staff preparing your breakfast at the counter have terrible personal hygiene, with their hair all over the place, as if they had slept in the establishment
Portions have become very small. Just ordered the chicken shwarma ($16) and salmon ($27). There was no labneh on the salmon, as we've had in previous orders and is shown in photos. The chicken had minimal hummus and chicken, extremely small portion. Skimpflation is alive and well at Nili. Very disappointing, as Miss Ada is great, but clearly this location is capitalizing on $$, not customers.
Unfortunately the food is inconsistent. It can be good and then all of a sudden it can be really bad. One day I got the Sabich dish with the egg undercooked and heavily burnt eggplant that made me really sick.
