Can't wait to go back. Bummed it's temporarily closed! I hope you reopen soon!
Friendly staff and good falafel... best option for falafel in the neighborhood.
The best. Come back soon please! We miss your fatoush!
Food is amazing and the owners are extremely nice and grateful.
Best chicken shawarma I've ever had.
Staff was very friendly. The lamb was phenomenal!
Delicious, fresh and authentic! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Definitely will be back!
Amazing, authentic, super yummy falafel and chicken shawarma
Incredible service and great atmosphere! Nice food selections.
My wife and I are huge fans of this place. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Go support them!!
Had an amazing falafel burger, and french fries here. Nice staff. Highly recommended.
Food is amazing, staff are friendly and helpful. The falafel is incredible. Pita is baked fresh daily. The zatar and cheese is great too
So delicious. The hummus! The zatar and cheese bread! Highly recommend. Glad they opened in our neighborhood so we can indulge regularly.
Went into this new restaurant for a soft opening last night & the food was to die for! I had the chicken shawarma my husband had the lamb shawarma comes with delicious fries, hummus and baba ghanoush ….. definitely 10 outta 10‼️
Great food, lots of vegetarian options! Everyone who works there is very kind.
Absolutely outstanding food!!!! 10 out of 10 every time we come :)
The food is outstanding! Service is great! Friendly people! Love it! So glad they came to our neighborhood.
My new favorite go-to place for dinner! I get the falafel or lamb wrap. The flavors are immaculate.

Amazingly good falafel sandwich. Came with delicious tahini and spicy pickles.

10/10 best middle eastern food i had in a while would recommend , i would definitely eat here again
Great food friendly staff and great customer service.even when I order delivery the food came fresh and quick.
So delicious!! And amazing vegan options!
Great food. Friendly owners. Glad to have this place opening in the neighborhood.
Really great food! Quick service. Definitely going to come back.
oh my God is this place good! Highly recommend it as the quality of the food is superb!!
The Grape Leaf is SO GOOD!!!!!! The beet salad is my favorite :) The only regret is not trying it sooner. I think order it for dinner at least once a week and it’s always fresh, well seasoned, comes quickly and the staff is very kind. We’re so grateful for this addition to Carroll gardens 🥰
The food here is absolutely delicious and won’t break the bank like it might at some other middle eastern spots around. Portions were large, and the menu had a good selection of more traditional meat and Mezze options alongside some “pitzas” and Burgers that may be suitable for less adventurous eaters. I can’t wait to order takeout and try more of what they’re serving up!
What a yummy shawerma stop! Falafel + beef shawerma tasted amazing, but the falafel stole my heart
Excellent addition to the neighborhood. The falafel is unique and delicious and the chicken shawarma was solid. The decor inside is very cute and the service was warm. Another plus: they have a kids menu!
Picked up a falafel plate—nice combo of ingredients, generous portion, everything fresh & tasty!
The shawarma is amazing. We shared the platter and a selection of mezze. It was the perfect amount. It's fun to watch them make the pita.
Absolutely delicious! Such fresh ingredients. Very kind and welcoming staff. Loved the meatless shawarma. Great vegetarian options and incredible desserts. Affordable too! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.
MUCH better food under New Management. Maybe not as authentic as before, but more approachable for western tastes. Tasty and fresh chicken kabob sandwich. I didn't like the dry, pickle heavy sandwich that the old management served.
Food was excellent and service was great as well got the 2 meat platter chicken and beef shawarma with hummus and pita the shawarma was seasoned perfectly not too heavy and the bread was thin and dry perfect
Food is so good ! Best middle eastern in the neighborhood. chicken kebab wrap is so juicy and fresh yummy pita
Brand new restaurant. Just opened August 2023. Got a chicken shawarma wrap during their soft opening last night. Was delicious. Lots of fresh baked breads/spinach/meat pies too. Look forward to trying more of their items.
amazing just amazing the freshest of food lovely portions friendly service can’t say anything more. It really was wonderful. Came here from Manhattan. just to eat at this place.
Falafel wrap (add garlic sauce) was so so good. Fresh, tasty, filling, fair price
Excellent Mediterranean food! They make their own pita that’s divine. We take out from here all the time. Plus everyone who works there is very kind
Great addition to the neighborhood! I had some of their pies and a shawarma bowl, everything was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this spot! The service was also awesome, will definitely come back.
The place is great! It has very authentic Middle Eastern architecture and it gives a very nice aura. The food is really good, made fresh everyday, and very flavorful. The staff is very kind and hard-working. Highly recommend!
Been here four times already because I can’t get enough of their lamb shawarma. Their lamb shawarma is A+. Everything is excellent here. The bread is soft and fresh and spices and sauces are made to perfection. The lamb shawarma wrap is DELICIOUS! Highly recommend The Grape Leaf!
Falafel Sandwich made my heart happy 🤤
Stumbled upon this new Palestinian spot while strolling down court st and couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised! we got the chicken shawarma bowl, the lamb shawarma sandwich, and their zataar and cheese manaeesh. everything was super fresh and flavorful! Lovely mediterranean addition to the neighborhood.
An absolute gem of a place! The staff assisted us in reserving space for 15 guests, they set up the tables, and even called to confirm. They were very patient with our large group and were able to bring out the food in a very efficient manner. The fully halal food itself was very good and had excellent flavor with worthwhile condiments! You can’t go wrong with the grape leaf special appetizer, as well as any of the burgers or platters! Highly, highly recommend The Grape Leaf for the excellent food and service and overall great experience!
This was my second time here since it was taken over by new management. I really enjoy their menu options and find them to be well prepared, sizable, and reasonably priced! I’ve only done takeout, but the staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and patient. This time we enjoyed the falafel burger with fries, beet salad, and spinach pie which is like a calzone. Will definitely be back :)
Delicious!!! Love their shawarma and the fried cauliflower is delish. Also their pitza are amazing
This place is delicious! The lentil soup is the best I’ve ever had. So happy they opened up in the neighborhood!
Don’t be fooled by its fast food joint appearance, nor by your experience here under the previous management, this neighborhood type Middle-eastern restaurant has surprisingly improved since its reopening, under a new management. From the signature Grape Leaf Platter ( 5 appetizers of your choice) to the Lebanese Fried Cauliflower and those yummy spice infused shawarmas, everything we ordered was delicious and brought back fond memories of our trips to the region. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Service was equally impressive! We will definitely be back again!
I wish I tried The Grape Leaf earlier! The new owner serves very high quality food and did a nice job erasing the “dated pizza place” vibe. It now has nice tile tables and good middle eastern music that fits the vibe. Adding a few candles and dimming the lights would take the atmosphere to a higher level. The server is sweet and is helpful on selection and the prices for the quality and portions are fair. It’s the type of place that I’ll become a regular. I’ve been twice in a week as I’ve been testing out different menu items. The food in my view is pretty authentic middle eastern. I gobbled up the Babaganoush and fresh hot out of the oven bread. And it’s one of the only places I’ve ever found meat and rice stuffed grape leaves offered in NYC. The laghmagen (spelling(?)) aka “Armenian Pizza/Turkish Pizza/Lebanese Pizza) is spot on tasty.
Really delicious food, amazing customer service, highly recommend 👌, give it a try and you will love it!!
Really good meal! Much better food under the new owners. We tried the delicious merguez and schwarma platters. Great value for $20 each. The fries were amazing. Hope they do well!
I’ve gone to this restaurant before under the supervision of the previous owners and I loved it, but now I am blown away! With what the new owners have done with the place I can see this place booming in no time. They have a large vegan selection which is perfect for my family and I, and it’s actually great tasting vegan food which is rare to find. I tried the meatless shawarma in the Grape Leaf Bowl and wow… it is incredible. The presentation was very nice and the flavor is amazing. 10/10 I will definitely be returning here again soon. Wonderful “addition” to the neighborhood!
Best middle eastern food in the area by far. Super authentic and high quality (hand cut fresh hot fries not frozen). Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Have had the chicken shawarma sandwich (nicely toasted, chicken shawarma platter and fries. All have come with complimentary garlic sauce and pickles. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Most underrated restaurant in all of Brooklyn / Carrol Gardens area. For a great price they serve you a hefty serving of delicious, healthy options. I had the hummus and a lentil soup and left feeling completely satiated for the whole evening. The people are so kind too. I highly recommend The Grape Leaf for friends and couples alike to go and enjoy!
great place, there is seating as well. only suggestion is the meatball wrap has very little meat in it so i would suggest getting the platter. the babagaunoush and the pita they bring it with was amaaazing!
Boy did I devour that falafel plate… absolutely delicious, generous portions and noticeably quality ingredients. The freshly baked pitas take it to another level.
Food was delicious! Everything is made fresh to order including the pita bread! Had the falafel sandwich and I highly recommend it! And it's relatively inexpensive especially for the quality and portion sizes. Excellent new place that I will be stopping at whenever I'm in the area!

Absolutely love this place. Been coming in a couple times a week since they reopened. Food is really fresh and flavorful. Love the chewy/dry pita. Recommend the shawarma, hummus, and zaatar bread.

Stopped by and the place was pretty much empty. We ordered the Grape Leaves (obviously, haha) and some falafel ($5!)and sat down. Cute little spot, they brought us water and a few minutes later our food. Everything was extremely fresh. The Grape Leaves came with a nice kind of quinoa tabouli salad and the falafel was super crispy, delicious and served with tahini. There was a kind of yogurt cucumber thing served with the grape leaves and I appreciated how much there was, a small bowl! Finally! Served enough "dip" with grape leaves! Brilliant. This isn't a Greek place, they have meat in their grape leaves which is awesome because our mom made them that way growing up and it's hard to find. If you're on Court St and looking for a quick, pleasant, refreshing, light, and healthy little lunch, stop into the Grape Leaf!
First time coming here and I got to say it has been really good, we ordered the loaded shawarma fries with Mozzarella and I gotta say it was absolutely delicious. Fries crispy the meat on top is good and it was a nice appetizer. We had the zatar pizza and it was a nice crispy crust with a good zatar flavor served fresh and hot. Finally had that cheese burger with fries and it was really good nice and juicy and the fries were seasoned and crispy.Overall really recommend this place.
I get this place at least once a week. The platters are such a good size and the pita that comes with it is insanely delicious and fresh with some flour on it still. It’s definitely more of a take-out vibe, but the employees are very kind even when you wait for your pickup order. Totally recommend!!! May feel pricey at first but once you see everything you get with the food then you will understand why!!!!!
The Grape Leaf is excellent! I am a vegetarian and they have plenty of options. The food is delicious and they are very friendly! I highly recommend going or ordering! :)

Food is ok, portion size is good, nice quiet restaurant, parking is hard to find, paid street parking
I was here when it first opened and it wasn't very good. Since friends moved closer to the restaurant I keep walking by it and thought we'd give it another go. We had the the sliced chicken with rice and salad with a side of hummus and it was all very good, generous, and reasonable. We also ordered the lentil soup which came with free falafels as a promotion and the falafels were quite nice. We haven't tried the soup yet. The large salad we got was very tasty as well. We enjoyed the mugadera, which is the dish with the lentils, bulgar wheat and onions. We also like the fava bean salad. Would definitely order from here again.
Casual Mediterranean spot in an old pizzeria with solid food, perfect for a quick meal. The standout for me was traditional shawarma sandwich, which came well seasoned on fresh pita. As well as the lamb shish kabob, which was tender with a tangy sauce that complemented it well
Good prices, great food. Best stuffed grape leaves that I had in a while. I had the Grape leaf combo with vegetarian grape leaves, ful, yogurt dip, olives mixture, and Babaganoush.everything was so fresh and the prices were good. I would come back for this combo, it was very filling. Best Mediterranean food that I’ve had in a while. I would skip the baklava as the middle filling was soo dry, it felt like I was taking the cinnamon challenge. I ended up throwing it out.

Food is good nothing spectacular. Service is mild maybe even to the point that it’s cold. The ambiance is forgettable. Overall, it’s a nice place to go for a casual meal and maybe for a quiet conversation with a friend. Great prices.
Falafel sandwich was delicious but I had upset stomach after eating it :/
A bit disappointed. The photos on here from the restaurant feel misleading. I had been excited to try this place because of a recommendation. My chicken shawarma pita was about an inch thick and had barely any chicken. Pickles were super salty. Probably wouldn’t pay $20 again for a pita with barely any chicken in it.
Tried The Grape Leaf for the first time. Chicken was tender and flavorful, rice had a nice seasoning, and the dry pita paired well with the meal. Portion size was decent for the price ($18). Only downside was that the chicken and tahini sauce portions could have been a bit more generous, and I wish I had kept the salad instead of extra rice. Overall, a tasty meal and worth trying.
This shawarma wrap is close to being great with nice fresh baked pita, good fresh ingredients and overall flavor, except the shawarma meat was noticeably tough and had a bunch of gristle and was a chore to chew through. I constantly had to pick gristle from my mouth as I ate my shawarma wrap. This place would be my favorite if they changed the cut or preparation of the meat so it wasn't so tough and full of gristle. Really it's so close.

The shish kabob is the worst . Very chewy . Not editable .
Ordered online for delivery 2 falafel sandwiches with a salad & fries… the sandwiches came in a wrap (not a pita pocket) no salad, no french fries… called to complain, I was told the salad & fries are wrapped in the sandwich!😂!!! are you kidding me?!!… well as crazy as that sounds, there were no fries nor salad wrapped in the sandwiches… dry falafel with a pickle wrapped up…no white sauce to make it yummy , nothing! They offered no resolution for their mistake ☹️… very expensive mistake. Very misleading, very disappointing.👎
Just like this place loses a would be customer they denied my 4 yr old son usage of there bathroom a 4yr old! Let that sink in, really shows the type of customer service they really provide
If there were an award for the place that always gets your order wrong, this place would win it. I’ve reached the point where I call to confirm my order after placing it — and they still get it wrong. But I always come back because I love their food way too much. At this point it feels like an abusive toxic relationship.
Buyer beware. This is my beef kabab sandwich. paid $15 for this. Barely any meat and when i brought it up to them they said “it’s how we make it and no one complains”
