Came here twice & got the same burrito & tastes really good! One of the best tasting tacoshop/mexican food in el cajon & santee. They do add some good amount of food as well, small place but its peacefull. Will come again.

I've been coming to this taco shop for years. Really good food. They so have some indoor and outdoor dining but I usually order to go and eat at home. They have parking right up front. The carne asada plate is my favorite but the rolled tacos are great too. Highly recommend the green sauce!

Early morning I get off work and I just wanted to pick up lunch on the way home so I ordered Surf and Turf fries and it was made to order just perfectly 👌....I also asked for lots of salsas to go with my order and he wasn't hesitant to give me extra so that's another plus. Utensils and napkins were already in my to go plate so everything was just perfect after a long night at work I was satisfied with my first experience with this place. Hopefully I get the same on my next order

My favorite place for mexican, I’ve been going here for 5+ years and love it. The food is simple but delicious. It’s always a very welcoming environment and the workers create such a friendly experience thats keeps you coming back! I’ve watched the restaurant go through so much change but the food and environment has always stayed the same and even improved. I recommend this place to everyone I know and have never heard a bad thing. They’re extremely fast at preparing your food and also have the best red sauce!

Santee is not known for Mexican food but this is the spot. Authentic food. Great service.

Los Amigos has been a go to for my family for many years. Hands down the Best Mexican Fast Food place around. My husband loves the two beef taco plate from there and I think they make the best breakfast burritos ever. They have the bacon really crispy with none of the fatty nasty parts and the perfect amount of everything else. Their salsas are the bomb! Our sons loves their Cali Burrito and their rolled tacos!

I have a good experience in this fast food Mexican restaurant, I order the steak ranchero burrito, and I at first I was expecting just the usual junk food, but NO! actually is was good, it tasted fresh, for 12 bucks including an horchata drink, can beat that one. So will go again and will see if the keep in up the good work.

Nice mom and pop place. Good food. Cozy atmosphere. I love that their combo plates come with a drink (horchata of course) Limited available indoor seating. I've been here before and I am going to return again.

Great food! This is our go to in Santee. We love their carne asada, both burritos and the plate. They hands down have the best breakfast burritos. Their late opening hours sometimes forces me to go to halburtos but I like Los Amigos better. Lately phone in orders have been a pain since it is hit or miss if you get through but it’s so good I’ll walk in and order! The red and green sauces are home made and delicious!

The carne asada burrito was solid. However, i did not really like the red hot sauce. It had an odd initial taste to me and was not spicy at all.

And although this place is good it's not one of the top tier ones. That said, if you have an urge for a taco shop experience, this place will do just fine!

I have eaten here for more 10 years. I love their food, except lately. Their burritos have only a fourth of what other taco shops have. Their burritos are all tortilla and no substance. But the rest of their food is good. Just don't buy a burrito!
