Dalton was my server this morning. He is very attentive, prompt and polite. I start with coffee, water and a cup of ice. Most servers seem to not pay attention to how I order and I end up with countless glasses of ice water and no ice for my coffee. Dalton brought what I asked for, and how I asked for it. Upon arriving he had 4 tables and handled each of us with the same prompt and polite service. I am a pastor from a couple hours away, and I will again visit this location because of the courtesy of a young man. If I y'all ever get the chance to greet Dalton, please do so.

Another great experience here, and Lindsey was our waitress that contributed to that. Though they were very busy Saturday morning rush, we were in and out within forty minutes without ever feeling rushed and the food was wonderful as well! Pardon my spelling, but Shyanne was our server this morning. And I happen to be pregnant and craving pickles. I asked for a ridiculous amount and she delivered! She shared an amazing snack recipe for the pickles too. All you need is some lemon wedges, squeeze some in the bottom of the cup, and your pickles, top it with some more lemon juice and some salt, and by golly, best thing ever. 10/10 recommend her as your server and the Delicious pickle snack recipe she's shared.

There was an issue with my food but I brought it to my waitress attention. She was very kind and asked me what I would like to do. I got a different order made for me. It was made well and no issues or complaints with remade food. So stars are redeemed as my issue was fixed promptly and respectfully no issues. Our waitress was great. Overall a good experience and we will be back because of this and because of how the issue was handled. The way ALL places should handle issues!

So I’m a huge fan of ihop. And the food was great. It just seemed like the portions were tiny. My two pieces of ham equaled 1 normal portion. Very friendly staff. Easy parking too.

Our food and our server were fantastic! Bacon was crisp and pancakes were fluffy. We did receive an egg order the wrong style, but we like it that way as well, so no problem. The food took quite a while to come out, but it was hot and delicious! The table tent advertisement was stuffed with trash, and the syrup was completely dirty and sticky on the outside. The ladies' bathroom needed cleaning up. Paper on the floors and wet floors. If it weren't for those things, I would give five stars. We were there at 1130 on a Monday, so it wasn't all that busy. Maybe they were short staffed?

Issues with the waffles left us without part of the order. Food was fast, coffee was fresh and hot. Cupcake milkshake has not brought any boys to the yard, but it was tasty. Walls needed to be wiped down and the inner side of the table could be cleaner. We needed some but didn't get any with our silverware or order. Staff was friendly, fast, and helped one another. Overall I would do it again.

We had a great celebratory meal here as a family. Our server, Ariana, was attentive and on point. Food came out hot and delicious! IHOP was clean in both the dining rooms and restrooms. The food was great but that is to be expected at any franchise restaurant because we go to the places we know expecting the same taste. Thus the food was good and we'll go past that. What I usually review are other things such as the location, staff, restrooms and the likes. This location was easy access off the interstate which is great. We needed to hop off the freeway and get food for our boys and we saw this and followed it right off the freeway--which helped because we were able to get right back on the freeway and head home. There were 12 of us and they accommodated us fairly quickly. The only thing is the hostess did not seem too thrilled with our group size. She was also a little snappy at me. The other staff members were OK and responsive. The restroom could be cleaner but otherwise fine.

My visit to IHOP was not as pleasant as I remember it to be years ago the facility was clean but they seem to be disorganized I'm in a wheelchair there was an issue in seating my wife and I . We then experienced almost a 45 minute wait on our food because of an issue in the kitchen. Our waitress was very friendly and is supported if she could be and one could tell that she was feeling the stress of the lack of food coming out because of the number of complaints she received from other patrons. I am a man well over 60 and I remember a time when IHOP was an exceptional Family Restaurant there seems to have been a slip in their performance over the last few years. I don't know if my wife and I will be returning to IHOP in the near future and that's sad. 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽

Cook needs to understand the whites of an egg are cooked through whether sunny side up or over easy. The difference is in the yolk. The hash browns are always spot on but the butter / grease needs to not have any old taste. Other than that the service and food is always great. ❤️

It was around 12:40am when I arrived, I did get seated immediately. The restaurant only had 2 other tables, that were already eating, my food took over 20 minutes to arrive. My eggs & hashbrowns were over cooked. It’s an old iHop. Food is alright. We went twice, and both time we waited very long to be served. Table was still wet when we were seated.

Hello All. That's sad that this kind of brand doesn't pay attention to remote locations, like Amarillo. For the African-American guy I give 5 stars, he was very friendly.. For serving lady (aged woman), I will give no more than 2 stars. First of all, my meal served in cold condition. Secondary, elementary, salt and syrups haven't been served. Even I've asked her for syrup, we never got it. So verdict, eating pancake in IHOP without a syrups it is unacceptable.

If you like cardboard then this is the place for you. Thought I ordered pancakes from a pancake specialty restaurant but cardboard must have been on special today. Tough, flavorless. Had to be sawed through.

I've had a few good experiences and a few bad so I'll give it a 2. Today I really wanted to eat at IHOP but I stood at the front not being acknowledged for 5 minutes then a couple walked in and the hostess said they'd be with them. Last I checked, I wasn't invisible. I ordered door dash from there a while back and it was supposed to be a for 4 people. The I didn't get the drinks that I ordered NOR did they send me any syrup. There was barely any eggs and what was there was cold. They also don't allow instructions in their system to request things like butter, syrup, creamer, etc. I wouldn't order IHOP through doordash if I were you.

An empty table. If you come here get used to the sight. It took 45 min to be seated and another 45 min to get food. After we ate it had been almost 3 hours. The staff was nice enough but for $90 and nearly 3 hours of time I could have taken my kids to multiple places and gotten food. The food was pretty good. But not a good overall experience.

So me & my boyfriend went to enjoy our free meal vouchers that were sent to us, we gave the two vouchers to the host & she sat us in a section that the waitress said she wasn’t serving & after me and my boyfriend waited around 15 minutes for service the waitress asked if we seated ourselves which we didn’t & she seemed mad when asking us, we told her about the vouchers & they said it was only for one meal so I talked to them & we all understood that it was for 2. I don’t like to bringing race into anything customer service but the fact that the waitresses section had free seats but the host didn’t sit us with the rest of the customers who didn’t look quite like us made me & my boyfriend question it but we shrugged it off, later when our meals were brought out we didn’t get serviced at all no refills no checkups nothing, while the other side did. Mind you it was only me and my boyfriend on that section & we were the only POC. It didn’t feel comfortable like it usually does & we love coming to ihop just not around this time so we were new to this customer service. Felt very degrading.

I cannot stress how unorganized this iHop is. Incompetent. I frequent Ihop because you expect the same food no matter where you go. WOW! I have always been a devoted customer to IHOP restraunts. The food and the wait staff are the very best in the business, or so I thought. My experience with the IHOP on Western St. in Amarillo has me outraged for this franchise, not at it. The food was certainly not up to par, and the restroom smelled heavily of urine. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. The steak was like cardboard. Couldn't even stab a piece with the shoddy plasticware. Hashbrowns were way overcooked and I couldn't even cut the pancakes because they were too hard for the plastic ware. Just got tired of fighting it and trying to pick my way through it. Walked up to the front to complain and found orders waiting on an open, dirty serving line that were there when I got there. Overall; WORST IHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO!.

Do not come to this IHOP. Food was decent, the server was nice but it took 36 minutes to get the food and after an hour of yelling the cook was finally asked to leave because he was screaming at the waitresses. If you ever find your self in this parking lot, just go to the Waffle House 👍

Me and My man came here this morning at 2am for some breakfast before coming home and going to bed (we stay up late) it took a good 10-15 minutes to order. once ordered it took a good 20 ish minutes for me to recieve my food. the pregnant server told us that my mans food would be right out. he ended up waiting another 35-40 minutes for his food to come out. by that time I had already finished my food. a guy who came in after us and sat across from us and ordered after us got his food about 10 minutes before my mans food came out. my man had asked for silverware and she never brought him any so he ended up taking some off the table close to us. unless you like your food to come out at different times instead of eating together, do not go to this location!!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE management. It is actually insane how a manager could treat her employees so badly. She threw a banana at our waiter and yelled at us when we tried to speak to her. There was hair in my food, the food took forever to come out, the place is overall filthy, i could honestly keep going. Our waiter was the sweetest ever and was so patient with our large party. The night shift manager on 12/15/2023 deserves to be fired. Multiple employees came out and apologized for her behavior and even asked us to leave a review. They are all so mistreated and are actually scared to ask her for stuff, such as redoing ordering or even ordering new things. Adults who act like children should not be working in a busy environment, it’s honestly pathetic. Manager description: straight eyebrows,, dark skinned,, goes by moe. She works every friday and saturday, , her employees referred to these days as “hell.” She is a terrible person, and it’s not customers fault she is terrible at her job.

Dirty! Workers smell like cigarette/ weed smoke. Unprofessional hostess said we needed to sign in on a receipt instead of speaking with host. Giving large wait time when wait time is significantly lower on food. Table was dirty, server was rude. Entire operation seems unorganized and sloppy.

I've never seen a more disorganized restaurant. Not a person who works there has a clue as to why customers are waiting for over an hour then leaving after being told 5 more minutes 12 times. I literally watched food sit in the window dying for an hour while customers waited.

We waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food after we ordered. When we got our food, it was cold. The pancakes were like cardboard. And, we got no silverware at the time. When we asked for silverware, we were told that they did not have enough. The manager did comp our meal.

Service was the worst I've ever had...and the place was almost empty. Had a young grumpy Hispanic lady, had to ask for refills she never took plates away. Got my drink wrong. She handed the plates to my kids instead of putting them on the table herself. it took forever to get milkshake. Overpriced and underrated. won't be back..

Almost empty restaurant. Tables that came in after us were served first. Cool. Our food sat on the counter getting cold while our three hungry kids waited at 10:30 PM. We asked if the kids’ pancakes could come out first. Nope. Instead, the manager came out to explain “policy,” with a noticeably defensive attitude and no real attempt to fix the situation or take any accountability. Anyhow, orders were wrong, fries were over-salted, avocado toast was incorrect. Still charged. We passed the time reading other reviews and realized we were just having the standard experience here. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing. We usually have consistently good experience at IHOP, but this location kind of ruined that for us. Management and staff are in serious need of training and some basic common sense.

I’ve placed two To Go orders within the past two weeks. We never received the pancakes with our breakfast sampler on our first order. We didn’t report this at the time because we were in a hurry. For our second order, we picked it up and checked the bag in our car before even leaving the parking lot to make sure we got everything we paid for. We were missing the blueberry pancakes on our breakfast sampler again so I went in with the receipt and flagged it to the staff member at the counter. He said they would get it fixed right away. He came back a few minutes later and said we should have gotten them. I asked if he’d like me to bring the bag back in so they could also check. He apologized and confirmed that may be best, so I did. When I came back and showed him everything we received in the bag he went to tell the cook and I heard the cook ask another staff member why the error wasn’t caught when they bagged it up (likely because we had two separate orders of pancakes - we received one order but not the other). The staff member said she checked and saw pancakes. The young man came back and said the pancakes should be in there I showed him again that we received one order of pancakes and not the other. He left and came back a bit later stating the blueberry pancakes we ordered and never received were actually just normal pancakes with the blueberry syrup in a separate side container and this is how they package the blueberry pancakes on To Go orders. He said they probably just forgot to add the container with the blueberry syrup. I showed him again that we only got the full stack of pancakes (5 regular pancakes)and the other two from the breakfast sampler (blueberry pancakes) were not included within the full stack container then proceeded to count them. He left and came back and said they’d need to check the cameras to see where they went. Im annoyed by now but said okay and waited. The cook came back and said they checked the cameras and that I got pancakes so I showed her I received one order but not the other. She shrugged and walked away. By this point I was upset so I called my husband who was waiting in the car to tell him it was going to be a bit longer. I then flagged down a few staff members to ask to speak with a manager. They apologized profusely and said the cook I spoke with was the manager. I relayed that I still never received the pancakes and was not at all happy with how the manager handled this situation. I told them everything about my experience the last time I placed an online order and even asked them to check all the cameras so they could see I never left the parking lot. I even offered them to come check my car for the pancakes. They politely declined and assured me they believed me and said they were going to ask a different cook to prepare the second order of pancakes. I did not at all appreciate how long it took to resolve the issue. It is very clear to me and the other staff members that actually helped resolved the issue that Ms. Tunnel is not at all qualified to be a manger. She is the one who prepared the order and made the mistake. She publicly tried to put the blame on one of her team members before then insinuating that I, the customer, was a liar and pancake thief. She lacks in problem solving, communication, and ownership skills. All this to say my experience left me deeply dissatisfied. If you must order ihop to go - CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR.

Went there about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday after lunch not many people. Had a party of 8 lady at the front saud they were going to clean off 2 tables at the back. It took about 20 minutes to be seated. When we got to the table we got our menus but no waiting staff ever came. We waited an additional 20 - 30 minutes and everyone around us was getting their orders but no one even approached our table. So needless to say we got up and walked out. Worst IHop location I've ever been to.

Worst place to go after church on a Sunday!! The wait for a table was expected. The food took 45min to get to our table and it was cold. The bacon was sloppy, soaked in runny, greasy eggs. Our order wasn't complete and the waitress sucked at her job. They even tried to put a 20% tip when we paid at the front. YE OLD PANCAKE STATION WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT!!!

I was so caught off guard by our experience that I didn’t think to take pictures. We were seated at a table that had not been cleaned so I asked to have it cleaned. She moved me to the table next to that and walked away. That table was also sticky and not wiped down. We moved to another table. That table was also sticky and not wiped down but I just gave up at that point. (My daughter walked around to see that every table in that section was dirty) The coffee pot was also dirty and was sitting at our table with coffee left in it from a previous customer. There was some confusion with the waitress to place the order on the kiosk, no big deal, I helped her with it. My daughter picked up a syrup bottle by the handle and the lid was not secure so it dropped all over her purse and the floor. I ordered pancakes of which were still dough on the inside when I received them. Sent them back, was told the cook was going to take a short break and then make a new batch after. 10 minutes later, I received the same pancakes, with crispy outer layer and the same dough on the inside. I overheard the, I’m guessing supervisor, saying she would only discount it and not take it off so I took her a fork full of dough to show her. She didn’t even come to my table to check in on the problem. Needless to say, that is the last time we will be back to that location.
