Ottima cucina: abbiamo preso ossobuco, lardo e ravioli, perfetti per riprendersi dopo una giornata sugli sci. La ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata molto cordiale e professionale. Atmosfera piacevole; forse mancava solo un po’ di musica di sottofondo.

This restaurant quite literally saved us — twice. While staying in the nearby village of Antagnod, we repeatedly ran into fully booked restaurants where the staff seemed overwhelmed and, frankly, not very interested in helping with future reservations. Just a short, scenic 6-minute drive uphill completely changed our experience. Tucked away in a quieter spot, this charming place turned out to be an absolute gem. Beautiful, tasteful interior, a warm and genuinely kind staff, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere that was a blessing after the crowds below. Surprisingly, it was never busy — which is hard to understand considering how exceptional the food is. Everything we tried was delicious, clearly made with care and quality local ingredients. And the tiramisu? Without exaggeration, the best we had during the entire trip. As an added bonus, prices are noticeably more reasonable than in Antagnod. Yes, you need a car to get there — but it is 100% worth it. Quieter, friendlier, tastier, and better value. We were so grateful to have found this place. Soggiornando nel vicino paese di Antagnod, ci siamo trovati spesso davanti a locali completamente pieni, con personale visibilmente sotto pressione e poco disponibile ad aiutare con prenotazioni per i giorni successivi. Poi abbiamo fatto una breve e piacevole salita in macchina di appena 6 minuti… e abbiamo scoperto questo posto meraviglioso. Situato in una zona più tranquilla, è un vero gioiello nascosto. Ambiente curato e accogliente, personale estremamente gentile e un’atmosfera rilassata che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo dopo la confusione del paese. Incredibilmente non era mai affollato — cosa difficile da capire vista la qualità del cibo. Tutto quello che abbiamo assaggiato era squisito, preparato con attenzione e ingredienti locali di qualità. E il tiramisù? Senza dubbio il migliore di tutto il viaggio. In più, i prezzi sono decisamente più convenienti rispetto ai ristoranti di Antagnod. Serve la macchina per arrivarci, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. Più tranquillo, più gentile, più buono e anche più conveniente. Siamo stati davvero fortunati a trovarlo.

This place has reopened completely renovated and has a very interesting menu. We had the risotto with blue Aosta fish, which was exceptional. Everything else was excellent too. Keep it up! We'll be back soon!

A real surprise, the food was delicious and plentiful, the atmosphere was very family-friendly, and the management was more than friendly. We met the two women who recently ran this restaurant while walking around their house. They're incredibly friendly and truly skilled. The pierrade was truly superb and plentiful. A delightful lunch with the family. We were warmly welcomed by Armando and Mary...and their staff. We ate some of the best polenta concie I've ever had. Agnolotti with braised beef ragu, pappardelle, and bean soup. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner to try the main courses...INCREDIBLE!! And the charcuterie and cheese platter was mouth-watering...a delight...my compliments! It will be one of my regular stops.

We stopped for lunch after making a reservation this morning at the suggestion of the hostess of the Residence Chalet where we're staying. The recommendation was excellent, considering the view from the Meridiana, the rustic beauty of the place, and the quality of the food. To start, we ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by a glass of honey. Everything was delicious! Next, the kids had ravioli, one with meat ragù, the other with an excellent cream of peppers and cheese. My wife had polenta and juniper stew, served in two separate pots, and I had a leek, potato, and cabbage soup served in a crust of black bread with a glass of white wine. Everything was delicious! The price was a bit expensive overall, but in proportion to the quality of the meal. The waiter was very courteous and knowledgeable, and the owners were professional and kind. Highly recommended, definitely worth a try!

A charming, tastefully decorated place. The owners are delightful and incredibly kind, and gave us and our dog a truly warm welcome. What can I say about the dishes: absolutely the best charcuterie and cheese platter I've ever eaten!!! The waiter took the time to explain the type and origin of the cheeses, which are all produced in the valley! Everything else was excellent, too, right down to the coffee and homemade grappa!! Without asking, they even brought a bowl of water for our big dog! We'll definitely be back!!!

A delightful setting with a stone ceiling and attentive service. Debora and a large terrace with a splendid view of the valley. Fast and friendly service and exquisite dishes. You can also purchase cheeses and sheep's milk butter. A must-try. Enjoy the scenery and reach it on foot. 😂 Reservations are always recommended.

The menu offers a variety of typical dishes from the valley, along with some—and I'd say many—products from the farm's own production. Very authentic food experience. Nice family restaurant with great food and service. Down part was that menu was in Italian only but the staff was very friendly and patient to explain as much as they can about the food. Even if you don’t speak Italian I suggest stopping by and trying the amazing food. I suggest trying the typical Italian dessert from the picture 😍.

Nice, small and friendly place. Got here on walt to Zerbion and decided to take first break. Restaurant was closed, but they were ready to serve us coffe and drinks. And then, without orderng and asking they bring snack plate to our surprise. And then they bring sweet snack on top of that. We were just delighted!

Locale molto carino, con un'apprezzabile terrazza che da modo di ammirare la Val d'Ayas. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Il cibo è buono, forse per il prezzo mi sarei aspettato qualcosina di più(circa dai 12 ai 20 euro a portata) I piatti sono realizzati principalmente con prodotti locali e questo è sicuramente un valore aggiunto, vista la bontà e la genuinità di quest'ultimi. Complimenti a tutto il personale, tornerò sicuramente a mangiare da voi!!
