We went with my boyfriend and his parents to eat at this lovely restaurant in the Aosta Valley. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a mountain cabin, both inside and out, with the grill paired with salmon steaks that even I, who don't eat salmon because I only eat it raw, craved. We started by sharing two mixed platters of cured meats and cheeses, and then each continued with their own taste. I ordered the torgnolette with potatoes, pancetta, leeks, béchamel, and fontina. Delicious! The Valpellinese soup my companion had (with cabbage, Savoy cabbage, fontina, and cinnamon) was also very good. A brown bread and chocolate cake, very similar to the cake called "paesana" in my area; it was good, but I would have paired it with something like a scoop of ice cream. The caramelized chestnuts with ice cream were also good, a better pairing. I also tried the apple cider dessert, which went down wonderfully. If we stop in the valley (very likely), we will definitely come back :)

An absolute gem of the Italian Alpes. The food is excellent, delicious and mouth-watering! The service is effective, friendly, and super kind. The atmosphere....you see the most beautiful panorama ever whilst having your lunch. Totally recommended!

Great location just off starting points of slopes. Buffet with anti pasti and also selection of panini. Desserts are home made. Hot chocolate is a winner for kids and adults. Beautiful view from side room and course from the terrace.

Pranzato la domenica di Pasqua in questo splendido ristorantino sopra Torgnon. La vista della valle è incredibile e, se si mangia fuori, c'è la possibilità di goderne appieno. Il cibo è ottimo e lo staff molto cordiale. Facilmente raggiungibile con qualsiasi tipo di automobile e con diversi parcheggi ai lati della strada.

Carino, bella sala con vista, cibo tipico, fantastica la salita con slitta notturna, fredda Ma ne vale la pena. Gestito da ragazzi giovani cordiali e volenterosi.

abbiamo pranzato qui solo un giorno, perchè non è possibile prenotare il tavolo, e benchè il servizio sia piacevole e veloce, essendo inverno molte volte non è possibile sedere dentro a mangiare e vagando con la polenta in mano questa si fredda e ogni proposito di mangiarla calda svanisce. IL personale è molto presente, educato e veloce e cordiale! IL caffè buono e anche la cioccolata calda. I panini sono buoni, il pane fresco e sono serviti veloce, con un costo ragionevole ma poco farciti. trovo i costi "economici" se si pensa che è il primo ristorante che si incontra ( quindi benissimo per chi accompagna senza sciare) e che siamo a 1800m di altitudine! per il resto una vista spettacolare che non ha eguali!

Beautiful location on the Torgnon ski slopes. Beautiful in the winter with the snow and beautiful in the summer. The food is good. Typical Aosta Valley dishes. It's wonderful and delicious in the summer to enjoy an aperitif outdoors with a pizza around the fire. Recommended.

Nice place for a drink while skiing. Their hot chocolate is tasty and the coffee is good. Nice views from the terrace and if you are lucky it is fully in the sun.

I've been there for lunch and dinner several times this August and have always been satisfied with the service and the dishes. I highly recommend it. - The food is very tasty and good quality. The portions are generous (except for the crepes, which I think are too small compared to the other dishes). The dishes are beautifully presented and inviting, from appetizer to dessert. The menu offers options for all tastes. Among the times I've been, I/we have tried: the mixed appetizer, the crepes, the soup, the sausage with polenta, the carbonada, the wild boar with polenta concia, and for dessert: the Sacher torte (delicious), the strudel, and the crostata. - The prices are average. I think they're fair for the quality/quantity/price ratio. - The service has always been excellent and efficient. The staff is very kind and super friendly. - The restrooms and the restaurant, inside and out, are well-kept and clean. The outdoor spaces are truly well-designed; everything is beautiful. The view and landscape are breathtaking. There are also chairs for sunbathing and relaxing. Alternatively, you can rent tables for €3.50 for a picnic. - If you'd like, you can take a lovely, mostly flat walk, suitable for everyone. You can also reach the marshes (2 hours, but you can also stop earlier). - There are several parking lots very close to the restaurant. Obviously, these are available outside of the ski season.

Posto carino, vista mozzafiato. Ci siamo stati solo per aperitivo quindi non possiamo esprimerci più di tanto. Presi 3 drink, uno se lo sono dimenticato..forse un po' scarso il menù che accompagna l'aperitivo (2 pezzi di pane e un po' di prosciutto). In ogni caso merita un passaggio se siete in zona.

Bar ristoro con molti tavoli all'aperto , alcuni all'ombra , ma altri al sole senza riparo. Dalla terrazza si gode di un'ottima vista panoramica. Ho preso un cappuccino ed una fetta di strudel e li ho trovati entrambi di mio gradimento. Personale gentile.

Classico self service abbastanza organizzato e veloce. Piatti leggermente ristretti per il prezzo che paghi, qualità prezzo non proprio conveniente.

Great location nearby the cable car and the amusement snowmobile. The staff is very kind and try to accommodate the clients request. Besides, the food was not as good as I thought: the meat was chewy and the chips tasted like they were cooked the day before. The starter was slightly better but the freshness of the food was no there at all. These simple things can be improved easily and I hope next year I will notice the difference.

Ottima vista...oltre a questo un disastro Preso polenta concia per 2 persone....neanche l'ombra del formaggio.....la polenta neanche cotta...... Preso il ginseng e una cioccolata il ginseng acqua sporca....la cioccolata metà tazza pagata 4,50€ ...... Proprio scadente....ho l'impressione che puntino tanto sulla quantità e non sulla qualità. ....

For an aperitif for four, a pioda arrives with three triangles of fontina, four slices of packaged salami, four thin slices of bread, and two slices of courgette, all without cutlery or napkins. When we ask for chips, we receive a fruit salad-style bowl with maybe a dozen chips inside: come on, we can do more.
